Unifier Table name used for storing User-Defined Reports Information

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for the table name that stores all the User-Defined Reports information pertaining to report creation details. I want to create a dataview that will provides all the user-defined reports the system presently had on file.
Does anyone know about the system auto-created table name for User Defined Reports. It might start with "sys_"
Thanks

For custom reports, you can find them through data views - "sys_custom_report". I am wondering why UDR tables were not included.
The only effort left is manually copy pasting each name and information from Unifier on an Excel sheet. It will take a lot of time though. I will also log a SR meanwhile.
Thanks everyone for your help.

    WDY_CTRL_COMPO - although you should be cautious with such access as direct interaction with the Web Dynpro Metadata is not supported by SAP.

I got my machine back, they said that the data is retained. Now i need to take those reports back. Can anyone tell me in which folder would SQL Developer stores the User Defined Reports by default? • How to specify table name using xdoclet

    Hi
    I'm trying to specify a table name using xdoclet 1.2.
    I've tried the @sql.table, but that ain't working (no table mapping name is
    writen to the *.jdo)
    I've tried using the @jdo.class-vendor-extension with key=table and
    value=tablename, but that ain't working either.
    I guess number two approach ain't working because kodo want table name
    extension inside another extension like this:
    <extension vendor-name="kodo" key="jdbc-class-map" value="base">
    <extension vendor-name="kodo" key="table" value="tablename"/>
    </extension>
    But, how do I specify the above using xdoclet?
    Regards
    Jesper

    Ok.
    Is it possible somehow to just tell kodo to use another table name without
    having to create mapping extensions for collections and stuff. Even better
    if one could specify a table name prefix to be used on all tables.
    My problem is that I need use kodo on an existing database having tables
    names that conflict with kodo's auto-generated tables names. The schematool
    will then try alter these tables :-(

    When you use metadata mapping extensions, you should not generate
    .mapping files as all that info is stored in the .jdo file. You should
    instead set kodo.jdbc.MappingFactory to metadata.

    However, I still can't get it to work.
    I've created a java class named Role with xdoclet like this:
    * @jdo.persistence-capable
    * @jdo.class-vendor-extension
    * vendor-name="kodo" key="jdbc-class-map" value="base"
    * @jdo.class-vendor-extension
    * vendor-name="kodo" key="jdbc-class-map/table" value="BW_ROLE"
    * @jdo.class-vendor-extension
    * vendor-name="kodo" key="jdbc-class-map/pk-column" value="JDOID"
    Xdoclet generates a jdo file like this:
    <jdo>
    <package name="dk.pine.users.services.model">
    <class name="Role"
    identity-type="datastore"
    <!-- end class tag --><extension vendor-name="kodo"
    key="jdbc-class-map"
    value="base">
    </extension>
    <extension vendor-name="kodo"
    key="jdbc-class-map/table"
    value="BW_ROLE">
    </extension>
    <extension vendor-name="kodo"
    key="jdbc-class-map/pk-column"
    value="JDOID">
    </extension>
    <field name="users"
    default-fetch-group="true"
    <!-- end field tag --><collection
    element-type="dk.pine.users.services.model.User"
    embedded-element="false"
    <!-- end collection tag --></collection>
    <extension vendor-name="kodo"
    key="inverse-owner"
    value="roles">
    </extension>
    </field>
    </class>
    </package>
    </jdo>
    Now I run the mappingtool (with option refresh) and it generates a
    mapping
    file like this:
    <mapping>
    <package name="dk.pine.users.services.model">
    <class name="Role">
    <jdbc-class-map type="base" pk-column="JDOID"
    table="dbo.ROLE0"/>
    <jdbc-version-ind type="version-number"column="JDOVERSION"/>
    <jdbc-class-ind type="in-class-name" column="JDOCLASS"/>
    <field name="description">
    <jdbc-field-map type="value" column="DESCRIPTION"/>
    </field>
    <field name="name">
    <jdbc-field-map type="value" column="NAME0"/>
    </field>
    <field name="systemRole">
    <jdbc-field-map type="value" column="SYSTEMROLE"/>
    </field>
    <field name="users">
    <jdbc-field-map type="many-many"
    element-column.JDOID="JDOID" ref-column.JDOID="ROLES_JDOID"
    table="dbo.USER0_ROLES"/>
    </field>
    </class>
    </package>
    </mapping>

    You can use slashes to denote sub extensions.
    See the example near the bottom of this link:

    Hi,
    Once a UDF is created and a value is entered in it, the same cannot be retrieved in any of the layouts and reports unless a Key is generated for that UDF. By assigning a Key to that UDF, the same UDF can be used in Crystal Reports or any other Reporting tool to extract its values from SAP. These reporting tools searches the Uniqueness of the UDF Values with this Keys only.
    For eg.: When you develop a report and select a table from which you need the fields to be shown in the layout. In that, the only fields whose keys are generated are only available to use in the report.
    Hope its clear to you.

  • 4.1EA2 User-Defined-Report strips CRLF when using PL/SQL DBMS Output

    Hi,
    I have a report with a child report.
    That child report uses pl/sql to print to the screen. (dbms output)
    When i use the procedure manually it prints fine.
    When i copy this output to a text editor i can see the CRLF in there.
    If i call the same procedure tru the reports section of SQLDeveloper the output is stripped of any CRLF characters.
    This is causing it to be useless for me: i am using it to generate code and it all appears as one big line on the screen.
    Copying this to a text editor indeed shows all CRLFs gone.
    Is this intentional or a bug ?

    Jeff,
    Thnx for the answer.
    I don't have a problem writing html in my code being a former webdeveloper with experience in apex as well.
    The problem is that the option presents itself as a standard plsql dbmsoutput, which suggests identical output as a dbmsoutput pane in sqldeveloper.
    From your answer i gather it really is supposed to do html formatting.
    Your "solution" of inserting br tags would be fine if it weren't for the fact that when i do a copy of the output in this report pane sqldeveloper strips away the br tags but doesn't replace them with crlf's.
    And since the crlfs that were in the output are also stripped in this result pane i get a single line of text when i copy over a page of text from the result pane into a normal texteditor.
    As such it behaves differently then say a browser when i copy a page of text from the browser and paste it in a text editor. There i see the crlfs that were present in the original source.
    Is there a listing somewhere that explains what tags are supported?
    Or CSS ?
    Does it support stuff like white-space: pre ?
    I understand the usefullness of a html-aware plsql dbmsoutput output option in the reports list of a user-defined report.
    However i would like to use this opportunity to advocate to include , as an extra option or tick box etc., an option to just display the output as the normal dbmsoutput pane displays it.
    That is without extra formatting.
    I like the idea of being able to click in the table section above and to have bottom pane generate the appropriate code as output.
    That  use-case can not happen right now since it formats as html (and not even the correct way) or, when going along with this route, strips everything to a single line of text when copying the data from the result pane.

  • How to find which all workbook is using Database function ( User Defined)

    Hi All,
    Is it possible to find out which all workbook is using Database function( User Defined).
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    If I had to do this detective work, I would probably do the following:
    1. Activate for a period of time the function, eul5_post_save_document. This function when activated is triggered at the time a workbook is saved. If you look at its columns, it save the worksheet's SQL.
    2. Next, I would parse the EUL5_WORKSHEET_SQL.SQL_SEGMENT column which is a varchar2(4000) column. There are many effective Oracle functions which could aid you in this effort (e.g. instring or perhaps a regular expression function).
    I hope this helps.

  • Using bind variables in user defined reports

    How do I go about using a bind variable in a user defined report?
    Here's a trivial example in SQL*Plus:
    var ublocksize number

    select value into :ublocksize
    from v$parameter
    where name = 'db_block_size';
    end;
    select :ublocksize from dual;
    This code does not work in raptor.
    The error displayed is:
    Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1
    Vendor code 17041
    any ideas?

    You also have a second issue of supporting the following syntax in SQL scripts:
    var ublocksize number
    begin
    select value into :ublocksize
    from v$parameter
    where name = 'db_block_size';

    We are itterating to support all SQL plus commands

  • How to use negation in user defined rules?

    Hi,
    Can you please show me an example to use negation in user defined rule? I created a rule like below (the rule says if a patient has a fever problem and not have penicillin hypersensitivity, then recommend medication1):
    INSERT INTO mdsys.semr_myMedicineRB VALUES('rule1',

    '(?p :recommendation :medication1)',
    SEM_ALIASES(SEM_ALIAS('','http://www.example/medicine#')));
    The rule successfully inserted into the rulebase. However, I cannot pass the entailment creation phase and got the errors:

    According to the post built-in primitives(noValue,remove) for user defined rules, it seems negation is not supported in user defined rules. Can you please advice how to implement negation in user defined rules?  Thanks a lot in advance.
    Hong

    Hi Hong,
    Let's look at this similar but simplified problem:
      if (?p  rdf:type  :Patient) and (NOT_EXISTS(?p  :present  :c2)) ==> (?p :recommendation :medication1)
    You can use something like this in the user defined inferencing:
    -- First get the numeric IDs for the relevant URIs
    recomID := sdo_sem_inference.oracle_orardf_add_res('http://..../recommendation');
    medID := sdo_sem_inference.oracle_orardf_add_res('http://..../medication1')
    rdfTypeID := sdo_sem_inference.oracle_orardf_res2vid('... full URI for rdf:type');
    patientID := ...
    presentID := ...
    c2ID := ...
    -- Now this query will find out ?p that satisfy (?p  rdf:type  :Patient) but not
    -- (?p  :present  :c2)
    sqlStmt := '
      select ids1.sid  sub
         from ' || src_tab_view || ' ids1
        where ids1.pid= ' || to_char(rdfTypeID,'TM9') || '
          and not exists (
             select 1
               from ' || src_tab_view || '
              where sid = ids1.sid
                and pid = ' || to_char(presentID, 'TM9') || '
                and oid = '|| to_char(c2ID,'TM9') || '
    insertStmt := '
      insert /*+ parallel append */
       into ' || output_tab || '(sid, pid, oid)
      select sub, '||to_char(recomID,'TM9') || ',' || to_char(medID,'TM9') || '
       from (' || sqlStmt || ')'

  • Strange behaviour of name used for desktop icon when mounting SMB shares

    My iMac is joined to a Windows Active Directory domain. This works fine. User logins are setup to mount various Windows shares at login time using some custom scripts that I have written, invoked from an Applescript app that runs as a login item. Again this works very nicely. The one strange thing is as follows, and this is troublesome for me...
    The sequence of commands used to perform the mount is:
    mkdir /Volumes/mountpoint
    mount -t smbfs //servername/sharename /Volumes/mountpoint
    This correctly mounts the share on /Volumes/mountpoint
    but the desktop icon that appears as a result is called 'sharename' not 'mountpoint'. Why is this a problem? Well consider that one has the following shares that one wants to mount:
    //Server1/System (will be mounted on /Volumes/Server1System)
    //Server2/System (will be mounted on //Volumes/Server2System)
    what I'd like to see are two desktop icons with names 'Server1System' and 'Server2System' but in fact I end up with two icons both called 'System' with no way to tell which is which other than actually opening one of them in Finder.
    Anyone know
    (a)    Is this behaviour expected (i.e. by design)?
    (b)    Is there a way to control the name used for the desktop icon when mounting things this way?
    Thanks!

    But, to invoke your app you will need to include it, otherwise you get the error above
    sometimes you call
    http://host:port/blank/page.jsp
    instead of
    http://host:port/blank/faces/page.jsp
    In the last one the Faces Servlet will get your request and locate page.jsp inside the faces context. If you don't include it then you get that error

    Discoverer does not currently allow queries to contain the extended Oracle 8 object types. The way to resolve this is to write views that present a relational view of the object structure and then build a business area based on these views
