Unit tests: more than one startup (teardown) process

Whether I can create more than one startup (teardown) process?
Mike

At this time if you need more than one you would need to use pl/sql and write them.
We will be adding ability to have more than one in the next version.

  • Multiple AirPort Express units - use more than one at a time?

    If I connect three Airport Express units in three different rooms, can I use more than one at a time?
    Can I choose to only use 2 out of the 3 at one time?
    Thanks.

    Yes. With iTunes 6.0.2 or later, you can send an AirTunes stream to multiple remote AirPort Express units, provided that each AirPort Express has the latest AirPort firmware. The maximum number of remote AirPort Express units is three to six in typical conditions. The number that works for you will depend on your environmental conditions (such as building composition and local radio interference), distance to the remote AirPort Express units, and available network capacity relative to your other usage.

  • Org Unit with more than one Chief Position

    Hi,
    we have implemented MSS via the portal using a one-to-one relationship between Org Units and Chief Positions, and we would now like to have multiple Chief positions attached to one Org Unit.
    As far as I can tell from the SAP documentation, this should be straightforward, but the results we are getting do not seem correct.
    I have an Org Unit that has position 1 and position 2 assigned to it with relationship A/B 012 denoting that they are Chief Positions.
    User 1 is holder of position 1 and user 2 is holder of position 2.
    Both users have the same security roles.
    The views used on the portal are configured using the MSS Object and Data Provider functionality, using the standard ORGEH view, evaluation path for root objects SAP_MANG and evaluation path objects SBES.  The checkbox 'Excl. Managers' is ticked.
    The problem is this - both users can see all the subordinate employees in the Org Unit when they log on to MSS but user 1 can also see user 2 in his list of employees, which is not correct as user 1 and user 2 are both chiefs.  User 2 cannot see user 1 in his list of employees, which we would expect.
    The only logic we can see for user 1 being able to see user 2's details is that user 1 must be somehow defined as the 'superior' Chief Position, but we have not defined this as far as we know.
    Any ideas as to why this is happening for us?
    Many thanks,
    Fran.

    Hi Fran,
    Sounds like you have set up the reporting structures and MSS properly.  I do question why two chiefs for one org unit.  As you stated, both can see all employees and so both can approve time, give pay increases, etc. without the approval of the other.  If this is want you want, then you have set it up properly.  Usually, one has to approve the actions of the other, thus, is in a superior relationship.  This can be handled by having a higher level new org unit with the higher person as chief and the lower stay as head of the lower org unit which reports to it.
    As you have it now, both individuals have the same rights and access.  They should both be excluded from iViews if you checked the "Excl. Managers" box.  Since, you just recently made one a manager, have you checked for any date dependencies?  If the Chief #1 is selecting a view for "Current Year", for example, he would be able to see all persons who reported to him for this year, which includes Chief #2.  There are no 'superior chief' designations (except by structure), so without being able to view your configuration, my suggestion is to check all dates for the assignments and relationships vs. dates of the view.

  • Can there be more than on "saplogon.exe" process in a session context?

    Hi,
    Does anyone know if there can be only a single saplogon.exe process in a windows session (i.e u2013 terminal service session)?  Is it possible to have more than one saplogon.exe process in a session? If so under what conditions?
    Thanks.

    Thanks for the answer Sven, it was very helpful.
    If only one saplogon process is possible for user, is it possible for more than one user to logon to sap in single window session?   So more than one saplogon.exe will be created in single windows session?
    (I currently have only trial version of SAP with single user, so i can't test this scenario myself).
    Thanks.

  • How to handle more than one message coming from an async BPEL in a sync BPEL process?

    Here is the scenario,
    Sync process A is calling an Async process B and Async process B  is developed in such a way that it is returning more than one message to sync process A, how you will handle those messages in sync process A?

    As durga said, its a wrong design, you will have issues in real time. You wont get the response back most of the time. It can be otherway around, async is waiting for sync process.
    Change your design or provide what is your use case below, we can think of which design suits you.

  • Can a position be linked to more than one org unit by A012 relation in SRM?

    Hi All,
    In the HR Org structure in ECC, a position (S) can have more than one A012 relation with different organization units (O).
    For example:
    S 123 has a A012 relation with Org unit A; validity date: 04/04/2006 to 12/31/9999
    S 123 has a A012 relation with Org unit B; validity date: 06/01/2006 to 12/31/9999
    org unit B falls under Org unit A in the Org unit hierarchy structure.
    But, in SRM I find that only one relation A012 linking S to O can be maintained, which is:
    S 123 has a A012 relation with Org unit B; validity date: 06/01/2006 to 12/31/9999
    I tried passing the data again through PFAL transaction (update mode), but the data in SRM does not change.
    Is this standard behaviour? Can't a person manage more than one org unit in SRM?
    I am currently working on SRM 5.0 with ECC 6.0 as backend.
    Regards,
    Ancy

    Hi,
    This functionality only relates to users who are professional
    purchasers. It means that they can be responsible for more than one
    purchasing group. In past releases, they were responsible for the
    purchasing group that they hung from in the org structure. Since some
    customers wanted that they could be responsible for more than one
    purchasing group, but the system would not allow the purchaser to belong
    to more than one org unit. Hence they introduced the new functionality
    that I described above. However it is not technically possible for a
    user to belong to more than one org unit since this would lead to
    inconsistencies in the way that the attributes work.
    I hope this helps.
    Kind Regards,
    Edel.

  • Can we set "IN PROCESS" Status to more than one User

    Hi,
    As per my client current scenario every work item will be sent to 3 useru2019s (One is the supervisor of the other two users). If any one of the user executes the work item it will automatically call a Ztransaction and displays the screen. When any one of the user executes the workitem, then the workitems will dissappears from rest of the users inboxes; Setting "IN PROCESS" status for the person who executed the workitem. The workitem will be in "IN PROCESS" Status untill the User Press "SAVE" button in the transaction.
    If the person whose executed the workitem (IN PROCESS) status, has gone on unplanned leave; then the supervisor wants to forward the workitem of the current user to other user. How can he forward?
    Is there any option to set "In Process" status to more than one User? [Supervisor and Person who executed the workitem]
    Please provide me any advice to the above requirement.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ajay Kumar

    Can you ask your workflow administrator to forward the workitem to the user you want to be sent it to.
    I tried a small case wherein I had forwarded a workitem to myself and another user.
    As I executed it , it went into status IN process and at the same time it got removed from other users inbox .
    Now I went to T Code SWI1 and forwarded iut to another user say USABC.
    As a result the workitem again went into status "Ready" and into the inbox of the user ABC.
    So , you can try this in your case with the help of your workflow administrator.
    Another way is to create the other user as a substitue of the user who is currently executing the workitem.

  • Testing for more than one command line argument

    Ok im writing a client to access a given server. What i want to happen is to say that if you enter one argument at the command line do this code- if you enter more than one do something else. I cant seem think of how to do this though-ive tried testing if args > 0 but it wont let me do that . Here is the code so far:
    import java.io.*;
    import java.net.*;
    class Whereis2
       public static void main(String args[]) throws Exception
          int c;
          //whois.geektools.com
          Socket s = new Socket("dante.net.dcs.hull.ac.uk",43);
          InputStream in = s.getInputStream();
          OutputStream out = s.getOutputStream();
            String str = args[0] + "\r\n" ;
             // convert string to bytes, unicode to ASCII
             byte buf[] = str.getBytes();
             // send data to server
             out.write(buf) ;
          while ((c = in.read()) != -1)
         System.out.print ((char) c);
          s.close();
    } Basically i want the code written above to happen is you put in one argument-ie Whereis2 Paul for example. But if i put in Whereis2 Paul "In a meeting" I want it to update the server. Can anyone help me to do this?
    Thanks a lot

    And by the way:
    "Where is Paul" (notice the quotation marks) is a single argument with spaces in it.
    Where is Paul (no quotation marks) is three arguments, no spaces.
    PS. Why are you throwing Exception?

  • Can a process can have more than one variant?

    Hello Gurus,
    I've understood that, in a Process Chain, The variant holds the specific configuration information for a process.
    My doubt is, can a process can have more than one variant?
    Please explain with scenarios, examples etc.
    It’s my pleasure to award points,
    Thanks and best wishes,
    i-bi

    Hey....<b>If you right click on a process type (of a process chain)...it will give you option diplay variant(NOt Variants).</b>That means that process type has only one variant.
    <b>but yes to add here..a particulur variant itself can have multiple variant</b>
    A good scenario would be <b>Meta Chain</b>....this meta chain is made of multiple local chains (which are variants for the Metachain).
    Now each local chain of the metachain is a variant and itself has got a no. of variants(process types).
    I guess you got your answer

  • Startup issue when having more than one database on machine

    Startup issue when having more than one database on machine:
    I’ve installed two databases.
    When I shutdown one of the database and try to start it up using
    Startup pfile=’…location..’;
    I get ora-12514: TNS: listener does not currently know of service rquirest in connect descriptor
    when I try it again after 3 seconds, I get a new error, ora-01041: internal error. Hostdef extension doesn’t exist
    Shutdown and Startup gave no problems when I had one database. Why am I getting problems when I have two databases?
    I’m using: show parameter pfile|spfile; to make sure I have the right parameter locations, so the error shouldn’t be from location.
    I’ve never installed two databases on one machine, so maybe I’m making a first-timer’s error.
    Anyone know how to get this working, i.e. starting and stopping DB without issues?
    Using oracle 11gR2 on Windows 7 64bit, all is working normal.
    Thanks,

    startup pfile='location of the respective db pfile'

  • More than one process bind() to a multicast port.

    Hi,
    I found one strange behavior when there are more than one process bind() to the same multicast port. The problem is as the following:
    If there is a process bind to a port, say 2000 and joined a multicast group. This process did not do a SO_REUSEADDR,
    before bind() and join the multicast group. Later on, I have another program in the same host joining the same multicast group with the same port number (with SO_REUSEADDR), the second process will not be able to receive any data from the multicast group (with the same port number) eventhough the second process can join the multicast group successfully.
    However, if both process call setsockop with SO_REUSEADDR, both process can receive multicast data from the multicast group. The simplest fix is to have both set SO_REUSEADDR. But the problem is, the first application is an off-the-shelf software and we do not have source code to it.
    I wonder if this is a problem with Solaris. Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Shao

    Hi,
    I found the answer to this question. Basically, according to the source code (Solaris 8 Foundation Source), ip6.c, line #2510, multicast data is forwarded to all "listeners" only if the first "binder" has a SO_REUSEADDR set. What that mean is, if the first "binder" does not set SO_REUSEADDR before bind(), any subsequent bind() with SO_REUSEADDR is meaningless (in practical terms).
    My question is, is this behavior correct? I think it's much better to allow subsequent listeners (successfully bind and joined the multicast group) to be able to receive data. The reason is that if the first binder does not set SO_REUSEADDR before bind() the port and joined the multicast group should not deny any "late comers" to join in and participate in the multicast group. "Fixing the code" is not always practical especially if one of the application is a third-party application. Or reject bind() if the first "binder" does not allow SO_REUSEADDR.
    Any comment?

    Shao

  • More than one Apple TV unit in a household?

    I want to know if I can use a second Apple TV in my house. I have one in the living room, but want one in my bedroom, and don't think it's a good idea to keep moving/unplugging cables from this unit. That can't be good for it in the long run. Anyone else out there using more than one unit in their house?
    And if so, can both of them be used at the same time? For example: watching Netflix in one room, and something from iTunes Library in the other. Or even Netflix in one room and something different on Netflix in the other room.
    Thanks.

    Thanks, I wanted to be sure before I shell out another hundred bucks!
