  • Java.lang.Exception: Number of responses does not match queries

    Hi,
    We recently installed Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0. Installation and everything else was ok. When we try to access the Database Console(Enterprise Manager) we are getting the following error on the top:
    "java.lang.Exception: Number of responses does not match"
    and it doesn't show the Host CPU graph and Active Sessions graphs. Else everything is ok. Database is also up and running. We can perfome all the tasks.
    Any idea what could be the possible reason and solution for it.
    Thanks and Regards

    Did you ever figure out the cause of this error message? If not, does anyone else have an idea what may be causing this to occur. I also just finished an install and have experienced the same condition.
    thanks,

  • Disable Mouse and other Keys except Number and Directional keys in a screen

    Hi all,
    Recently we have developed a sceen program as per the requirements of client who are used to enter meter readings using only Enter key. They used to give Enter key to give meter readings, date of meter reading, meter reading note and consumption in their legacy system.
    Though we developed the screen as per the requirements with all validations checking simultaneously which are required but we failed to handle mouse and other keys as we have not found any specific events occured by the keys.
    Now some of the meter readers are using mouse and other keys and because of this our code is getting failed and no validations are working at all. So we want to disable the mouse and other keys except Number keys and Directional Keys while we are in the screen so that they are bound to work with the Enter and NumKeys as per their requirements.
    Please help me with an idea or code snippet by which we can solve the problem. <removed by moderator>

  • Exception:ORA-20002: 3136: Item 'LOGSYNCH/#SYNCH' cannot be accessed ...

    hi ,
    I am getting the following exception .
    ORA-20002: 3136: Item 'LOGSYNCH/#SYNCH' cannot be accessed while synchronous process in progress.
    Any pointers please .It is urgent.
    Regards

    Hi,
    What is the context? What is the code trying to do?
    It looks like there might be something that is trying to access information about the process from the database, even though the process is running synchronously - there is no data persisted in the database for it to access.

  • Exception number line pointing to commented code

    Hi
    Im facing a strange problem. In travel management project application, on click of one of the buttons, it throws a null pointer exception.
    In the exception details, it gives me a .java file with the name of the method and line number.
    when I go to that .java file in webdynpro and find the method and the line number, it is actually a commented code.
    Whats wrong? how can I find where exactly the problem is?
    thanks

  • Text messages to unkown UK number?

    My service provider is charging me for text messages to a UK number (+44 7537410297) that I didn't send. I've searched the internet and found that this number has to do something with activating facetime or iMessage. A few weeks ago I switched off facetime and iMessage but I still get charged for text messages to this phone number. Can someone explain to me why my iphone 4 still sends text messages to this UK number.? Switching off facetime/iMessage should do the trick right?

    Do you have access to a phone that still uses that old phone number?

  • Need Exception Number from MD04 Transaction

    Hi everyone!
    *Can anyone help me to get the additional data for MRP elements.
    In the transaction MD04, when we double click the line item details. We can see 2 Exception Numbers.
    My requirement is to fetch those 2 exception no. I have tried with FM MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API and BAPI_MATERIAL_STOCK_REQ_LIST. Both this retrive the exception No...which is shown at the time of executing the tcode MD04.
    For Eg. If material 'xyz' is showing exception no '06'. Then the above 2 FM fetch this '06'.
    But, when we double click on the line item, it should exception no '06' and '07'. So my requirement is to get the both exception no,
    Please help.

  • Function Module Exception in CMS

    hi all,
    im using this fm CMS_API_MOV_SAVE_SNG  to change the equipment data in CMS.
    Its throwing a exception
    Error in change document creation/analysis: OPEN_MISSING
    Message no. CD327
    Diagnosis
    Error during change document creation or evaluation.
    The following errors may have occurred:
    Nametab error
    Change document item could not be inserted
    Change document object could not be opened
    Object name is invalid
    Change document header could not be inserted
    No CHANGEDOCUMENT_CLOSE was called for the last change document object.
    when i debugged the FM its calling a change document FM "CHANGEDOCUMENT_MULTIPLE_CASE" ... Here the error is thrown.
    Its clear that the error is because CHANGEDOCUMENT_OPEN is not done before changing ie (calling "CHANGEDOCUMENT_MULTIPLE_CASE")
    in other FM's such as CMS_API_INS_SAVE_SNG  - Insurance ,CMS_API_INS_SAVE_SNG - Vehicle...this CHANGEDOCUMENT_OPEN is called in the standard function module itself
    but in CMS_API_MOV_SAVE_SNG its not called ... why ????
    is there any other way to solve this ???

    HI,
    use 'EXCEPTIONS' to catch the error happens in FM.
    uncomment all your exceptions when calling FM.
    and you will get the exception number in sy-subrc.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERT_TO_LOCAL_CURRENCY'
    EXPORTING
    client = sy-mandt
    date = SOURCE_FIELDS-xxx

  • Error catch of a function module exception in a method

    Hello,
    how do you catch the error of a function module that is called from within a method. Presently the process terminates in case of an exceptions. Sy-subrc seems also not to work.
    E.G.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERT_TO_LOCAL_CURRENCY'
    EXPORTING
    client = sy-mandt
    date = SOURCE_FIELDS-xxx
    foreign_amount = SOURCE_FIELDS-xxx
    foreign_currency = SOURCE_FIELDS-xxx
    local_currency = SOURCE_FIELDS-xxx
    IMPORTING
    local_amount = RESULT
    EXCEPTIONS
    NO_RATE_FOUND = 1
    OVERFLOW = 2
    NO_FACTORS_FOUND = 3
    NO_SPREAD_FOUND = 4
    DERIVED_2_TIMES = 5
    OTHERS = 6.

  • JarCacheVersion Exception

    Every time I try to log on to work I get a warning box stating sun.plugin.cache.JarCacheVersion Exception:Number of attributes specified in 'cache_archive' doesn't match those in 'cache_version'. I have tried to upgrade but this gets me no where. Any ideas?

    Try clearing Java's cache - open the Java Control Panel and use that to clear the applets and applications that Java has cached. It sounds like something is out of sync.

  • When i run report through OC4J Application i get a exception message

    When i run report through OC4J Application i get a exception message saying Server returning invalid xml and the exception number is JBO -29000. The Reports Server is installed on machine having IP 10.191.99.254.
    Below is the exception message:
    (oracle.jbo.JboException) JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.io.IOException, msg=Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: http://10.191.99.254:8888/reports/rwservlet/showjobidnull
    Anybody Please help me out with this issue.....because I am really fed up with this problem....want some urgent help.....
    One possible workaround which I could make out is there needs change to be made in the .rdf files in Report Builder and then inside the User Parameters we change the Initial Value to * from % because the Reports Server encodes every value as %Initial_Value% and hence if the initial value for the parameter is % then it does not get a valid value and hence it returns as an invalid xml
    But unfortunately it seems this workaround does not work.Please help as soon as possible.

    Hi,
    you said that some changes were made in the .xml files but i had said that all the files present in Reports Developer or Reports Builder are .rdf files and I had made changes in the .rdf files for this articular report and then compiled it thereitself and then ran a paper layout of the report but the report did not comprise any data.
    There was sufficient data also to populate the report. So this may not be a database issue. Please help if you can ASAP.

  • Catching Exception of a function in a procedure

    Hi,
    I have a procedure named P calling a function named F. If function F returns no value.. I want to catch that exception in the procedure/function itself and display to the user that the function named F has returned without any values.
    Thanks in advance

    A function not returning a value, is an error in the function. A bug in the function's code.
    A function must return a value, or raise an exception. It cannot simply just not return a value.
    E.g.create or replace function F ( n number ) return BOOLEAN is
    b booloean := FALSE;
    begin
    .. do some stuff ..
    if <some condition> then
    -- an error has occured - raise an exception
    raise_application_error( -20001, 'blah blah' );
    end if;
    return( b );
    end;This code is however ugly. The RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR is a system call. If you want to trap all calls in your code that raises an exception, you have a problem. Also, the exception number is hardcoded.
    It is better to have a procedure called RaiseException and have it make the call to RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR. This way you have a single place in all your code where this system call is made. You can easily add logging and debugging into that single place. Dump the PL/SQL stack. Etc.
    And of course, replace the hardcoded number with a constant.
    In the procedure, you will trap the exception using an exception handler. E.g. create or replace procedure P is
      b boolean;
      n number;
    begin
      .. do some stuff ..
      b := F( n );
      .. do some more stuff ..
    exception
      when <some_exception> then
        .. code to handle the exception..
    end;
    Refer to the Oracle® Database PL/SQL User's Guide and Reference for details on how to create custom exceptions, raise exceptions, and trap exceptions.

  • Exceptions in function module

    Hi,
    What are the exceptions in function module.
    Thanks in advance

    HI,
    Exceptions are used to return the error which happens in function module to the calling program.
    You can't show error messages directly from Function modules. So when there are some error occurs in function module it raises the desired exception. and this exception number is passed back to calling program. in this way calling program can trace out the error happens in function module.
