"Unresolved external"-- How do I compile NI-DAQ apps with Borland C++ ?

I'm a newbie. I am attempting to resurrect some code which a former worker left behind.
I am getting "Error: Unresolved external..." at link time for all the NI-DAQ calls.
More info:
I've installed Borland C++ 5.5 and its associated command line tools.
I've added E:\Borland\Bcc55 and E:\Borland\Bcc55\bin to my path (NT, so I use Control Panel-->System)
I have created bcc32.cfg and ilink32.cfg files per Borland's readme.
I've tried various ways of adding -L"C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Lib" to the compile, both in the command line and in the .cfg files.
What am I missing? More details available on request.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if you ever found a solution to this issue, and if so what was it. I've run into a similar problem and the knowledgebase article which was suggested to you has not helped me.
Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated.

Ni-daq 6.9.1
And I get the following error message when I build my project:

I've been trying unsuccessfully for most of the evening to compile a .as file that relies on mx.collections.ListCollectionView using asc. I figured I could just import the Flex framework SWCs from the command line with asc, but asc doesn't seem to respect SWCs - it only seems to respect .abc files.
So, I've spent most of my time trying to compile the Flex framework into a single .abc file that I can import whenever I want to compile a class that relies on Flex. I figured I could make a base .as file with include statements for all of the Flex .as files (copying the approach I saw for files like builtin.as) and compile that, but all I seem to get are compiler errors - mostly "[Compiler] Error #1181: Forward reference to base class (base class name)."
I have a feeling I'm doing this completely the wrong way. I'd very much appreciate any assistance that anybody can offer me.

Apps will always be tied to the ID in which they were purchased or downloaded under. You can not change this unless you buy or download the free app using the new ID.

Sorry, but you can't. The process only works when creating a new Apple ID. With an existing ID you'll have to provide a payment method at least temporarily.

Unresolved external symbol NumericArrayResize when compiling a DLL at x64 platform using vs2005

I have a dll which is called by Labview through "Call Library Function Node". I want to port this dll to x64 platform from 32bit code which runs well at x86 computer. So, I download the Labview 8.5 evaluation version, replace the orginal referenced header file and library file in 32 bit code, such as extcode.h, fundtypes.h, labview.lib etc. Then I compile the code with Visual Studio 2005, error occurs when link "error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol NumericArrayResize". I don't know why because I really link library labview.lib. Can anyone help me?

How to modify input range (DAQ assistant) with a numeric control ?

I am currently working with the NI USB-6218 acquisition card.
I would like, in order to acquire a signal, to be able to choose the input range of the DAQ assistant with a numeric control ( and not by opening the DAQ assistant window ) (like the "number of sample" and the "rate" entry...)
Is it possible and if yes, how ?

sorry I forgot it. but after spending a few hours on the problem this morning, i solved it Apparently, I corrupted the general DAQmx assistant last friday. By restarting my computer this morning, this issue was solved and I was able to transform the constant into command for the input range.

How to stop to sync ipad apps with itunes without loosing everything?

My iPad is synching it's apps with itunes. Now that we have icloud, my ipad already has a backup in the cloud, and the PC backup of my apps is no longer useful. My goal is to stop my apps to sync with itunes on my PC because it is useless, it takes a lot of space on my hard drive (with many apps other 1-2GB each), because it drains my network bandwidth when it syncs, and finally because it makes my music synching with itunes extremely long (because it needs to sync all apps when it sync the music), and all of that without any use.
I tryed to simply uncheck "sync my apps" , but itunes wants to delete all my app and app data if I do so. I searched online and found out that some tryed to let itunes erase them, then use the icloud backup, but it seems that the icloud backup also backup the "sync my apps is checked", so it is not working. I tryed contacting Apple directly but for itunes they say we have to use the Fast Land, which cost money, which is conter logic (why should we pay to report bugs and get support for an unworking product that should work properly in the first place?), and also very frustrating.
I got poor support by Apple over the years, but I now that the best support often comes from the people that uses the product itself, and that is why I am trying to get the answer from you guys over the support communities.
None of us is paid to help each other, so thank you in advance for your time!
PS: Apple; fast lane needs to be free, it's not normal to have to pay to get the service every company in the world gives freely...

You don't. Each sync-able item (apps, music, contacts, calendar, etc) can only have one source. You don't see it because all of the iTunes libraries have the same apps, but if they didn't, it'd be adding and deleting apps too. So each type you sync, the one you're currently syncing with becomes the authority.
Since you state that your goal is for all the libraries to match, there's no reason to be syncing them all. Pick one, designate it as the authority, and on the other two, don't sync apps.

Well, not really. You hinted at it with: "set up a group wiki."
Go into Workgroup Manager and set up an Open Directory group. Add people to it.
Each client must then go into iCal --> Preferences --> Accounts and add an account. The name and password entered must be the same as that added to the group, Kerberos must be unchecked, and the account URL will be like (fill in the blanks properly):
http://<your domain name here>:8008/principals/groups/<your group name here>/
Now each properly logged in user of that group can make changes to the shared group calendar, without any "hacks" like making dummy users and delegation.
However, I am getting a notifier: "Request Error: Accesss to <event name> in <your group name here> in account <your group name here> is not permitted." But that seems to be a lie, since multiple members of the group can make changes and others can see the changes.
Oh yea, make sure you have a functioning DNS with valid reverse lookup.

How can I compile an AIR app from the Flex-OEM Compiler?

Hi all.
As i've read in http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=CommandLineTools_1.html, you should run amxmlc or pass +configname=air param to mxmlc in order to compile an air application. Is there a way to do this with the OEM Compiler?

I ran across this article, however it's for an earlier version of AIR. A version that used publisherID, however that is not required in the new air versions.

I tried creating this app without the pub id, didn't seem to work. I've got to get a certificate and get the pub id from that.

It looks like the method to close an app on the iPhone has changed with iOp 7. Double clicking the main button is now use to go from open app to another open app. How do you close an app nos to stop it from consuming battery?

You will see the App icon and the App window above it, flip the window upward to close the app.

You may tie up one of your authorizations for that public computer by purchasing, and you can't trust a public computer not to have a keylogger that could steal your iTunes Store ID and password.
Wait until you can use your own computer or iOS device to redeem your card and make your purchases.

How do you setup the Mail app with iCloud on an eMac?

I have recently made an iCloud account on my iPad- includng a free "@me.com" email address, which I've been longing for! I do, however, have the old Apple eMac and would like to set up my "@me.com" email address. When I go to set it up, there is (on the pull down menu) ".Mac", which did not work, "IMAP", and "POP". I know iCloud cannot use "POP", so is there any way to do "IMAP" and how? Please help!

How to build database driven mobile apps with dreamweaver and phonegap?

Hi all,
I'm searching the easiest way to implement a simple database in my app.
I can build application with php/mysql in seconds with dreamweaver.
But how can I do something similar with dreamweaver cs5.5 and phonegap for mobile apps?
I would like to create a little app that pulls data from a mysql database on my webserver.
But it seems that dreamweaver/phonegap/jquery mobile work only with HTML files.
I searched the whole web for a day now but I haven't found anything easy to recreate.
Is there a tutorial that explains the basic of database for mobile in dreamweaver?
It seems a bit limitating to use dreamweaver to build only static/useless apps....
What about forms and data validation?

I learned OpenUI 5 for a while, since it's open source version release. It's really a great web front-end framework!
Now I'm working on a little web app. I design it start from a root module. And I wanna make any other view modules as a stand-alone package. (e.g. Something like Widgets can be make as a Component, and I can instance it anywhere I want). From learning of OpenUI, I think Component should be a good choice for my web app module.
But there is some trouble. When I make two Component with a parent-child relationship.Once the child Compont's router execute navTo method, the hash will be replace but not append. And the parent Component will be changed too.
The question is : how to design the route pattern can make the parent-child Components works both fine? Andreas Kunz

Hi Siqi,
currently there is no Child/parent relationship build in the framework, but you could do it.
All your child component need is the first part of the pattern from the parent component, you have to pass this one to the child component, and then create the routes dynamically:
parentPattern + "/myChildComponent"
Then the parent and the child will both react correctly on a hashchange.
