UnsatisfiedLinkError when combining J2SE & J2ME

Hello,
I'm doing an application in J2SE which calls to a package compiled in J2ME. It compiles fine. In runtime, when executing functions implemented in J2SE there's no problem, but when I try to execute a function from the library compiled in J2ME, I get the next error.

I checked both apps separately and they work fine, and the error is thrown only when I combine them.
Can anyone tell me the reason of the error and how can I solve that.
Thank you very much.

ok, thanks. But my problem was that an internal class from Java throw that error:
From my class in j2me, i call the class connector.
From connector, they call isNetworkMonitorActive (native method). It's there where the error is thrown. I can't recompile java's classes.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

  • Unable to open the document when combining files.

We have a user that gets an error when combining files. It says
    Unable to open the document:
    <Filename and path>
Please check to see if you have read permission for the above file.
    Retry and cancel buttons.
We get this error on every subsequent file, it works on the first one after the computer starts.
This computer has Windows Vista Business with SP2, Adobe Acrobat X with the latest patches.
It doesn't matter if the files are local or on a network drive, the same always occurs. I have cleared
all user and system temporary files, re-installed, verified the Acrobat Add-In for Word 2010 is active,
verifed the PDF printer is working fine. It only happens when trying to combine files. I have given the
user local administrator privilidges, tried with my account that has domain admin priviledges, no luck.
    I really need some suggestions...
    Thanks,
    Tom

I have found out from Adobe technical support that this is a known issue with Office 2010 SP1 installed.
This is an FYI for anyone else experiencing this issue, remove SP1 and it will work ok.
They said an update to correct this issue will be coming within the next quarter.

  • How to retain numerical order (Of file names) when combining files in Acrobat (9) Standard

How to retain numerical order (Of file names) when combining files in Acrobat (9) Standard, please see the attached screenshot for a clearer explanation.
I understand that if we prefix all files with leading zero's this will probably resolve the issue but I just wondered if anyone new the answer. The ironic situation is that version 6 has no problem.
I have spent over an hour with techincal support who were unable to provide me with an answer

It is not clear how you are trying to do the order. Have you tried to select a set of files and then use the arrow buttons to move them in the list? If you select the heading, that will typically reorder the files by that heading and undo everything you had done before.
You should be able to select groups of files and move them up and down in the list. All of those options appear on your view, so what is the real question?

  • How do I change the pdf version when combining files

I am using Acrobat 9 Standard and need to change the default pdf version when combining multiple files, it actually save in 1.6 but would need to lower to 1.4 to be compatible with a client. So far, I changed the .joboptions with no luck. Any idea?
    Thanks

Thanks, we already do this but I would like to set it and forget it... Theres always someone that will forget the extra step

  • Is there a Maximum file size limit when combining pdf files

I am trying to combine files 8 PDF files created with i Explore using Acrobat XI Standard, the process is completed but when opening the file not all 8 individual files have been combined only the first two have been combined, the process shows all eight being read and combined.
I can open and view each of the original 8 individual files and read the content without any issue, the largest of the eight files is 15,559kb and the smallest is 9,435kb
if anyone can assist that would be most appreciated

    Hi Tayls450,
This should not have happened as there is no maximum file size limit when combining PDFs.
Please let me know if there are some password protected PDFs also?
Also, I would suggest you to choose 'Repair Acrobat Installation' option from the Help menu.

  • File conversion error when combining files

    Hello,
I am using Adobe Create to combine several files (both word and pdf) into a single pdf document.  I have done this several times in the past with no problems.  However today it won't allow me to combine any documents which are already in pdf format.  The system generates an error for each of these documents as: "Conversion Failed".  I am clearly not trying to convert them, but rather to combine them...  Any ideas?

    Hi gina_hall_7848,
If you're combining both Word and PDF files into PDF, there is some conversion happening (with the Word docs, as they're converted into the combined PDF file). If you're getting the error when combining only PDF files--that's another story. It could be that one or more of the files that you're combining isn't in a supported format, or that Adobe PDF Pack is timing out before it can complete the conversion.
Does the error occur regardless of what files you try to combine?
    Best,
    Sara

  • Flash Error When Combining Files

In Acrobat XI Pro, when combining two or more PDFs in to a single file, i recieve and error to say to view the content i must download flash.  Ive checked and we are running the latest version.
The OS on the device is Windows 8.1 and it is patched for the latest version of flash inside the OS, even when trying to go to the link provided it just says that it is already installed.  Thanks

    Hi reddamo,
Adobe Acrobat no longer bundles a Flash Player for the purpose of rendering Flash technology content within the pages.
For this, you need to use a separate Flash Player. Please refer this kb file to download the Flash Player:

  • Acrobat X Standard Bookmarks - How do I make the Zoom Level action default to "Fit Page" when combining to one pdf?

Acrobat X Standard Bookmarks - How do I make the Zoom Level action default to "Fit Page"?
When I combine multiple pdf files into a single binder, Acrobat creates a bookmark for each file.  In the properties for each bookmark, there is an action created to go to the page in the document and has the zoom level at "fit width".  Question is, how do I change this apparent default zoom level to "fit page" when Acrobat creates the bookmarks when combining the pdf files?

Is there a way to do it in one step instead of individually on each bookmark?  This gets VERY cumbersome when I have upwards of a hundred bookmarks to change.

  • File is huge when combined or changed to PDF, how do I get the file to a normal size to print?

Files are to large to print once they are PDF, how do I get them to a normal 8x11 size to print?

So why is it when I send these PDF files to clients they are to large for clients to print?
If I send a combined PDF file that is 3817KB, which a client has said is to large for them to print.
I send it to our office manager, she will print it, scan it back to me as a PDF, it will come
back as 375KB, the client can then print the file.
My question is, was/is there something I need to change in the process of scanning, combining files
to PDF that would create a smaller size file when done?
    Sorry for all the confusion

Sorry, I'm lost.First I thought this was about page size. But you say it isn't. You say it's about file size.  You've combined files of 494 + 441 = 935 KB, and you get 944 KB. This seems fine and you say it is fine. So what is the problem? Are you now on still a third meaning of huge, about size on screen?

  • Word documents won't convert when combining

Similar to a problem from another post, Word documents will not convert when combining files. I’m only combining a few files at a time—when placed first, the Word document will stall at 10% converted. When placed anywhere else, it skips with an error saying it's unable to open the file, "please check to see if [ I ] have read permission for the...file." (It's my computer; who do I have to ask?) Other files convert/combine just fine (.png, jpeg’s.) I’m using a 32 bit version of XP and I do have the pdf converter from Word installed as an add in. Very annoying problem. Can anyone help?
    Thanks

If you upgrade word the documents switch from .doc to .docx

  • When combining multiple PDF's, the field properties change

When combining multiple PDF's, the field properties for the Font and/or the "Scroll long text" checkbox change settings. What is causing this to happen?

Thank you for the prompt reply. I do indeed have the same field name across multiple files, but they are all set the same in their individual files.

  • Corrupted characters when combining pdfs

I am trying to combine a set of files into one pdf document. Each pdf file was created from Microsoft word and they all display perfectly as single files.
However when I combine all the pdfs into one document a lot of the text becomes corrupted and displays as square boxes instead of the correct characters.
    Can anybody help please?
    Thanks
    Steve

I am not sure Preflight is part of Standard. If it is, you will find it under the Advanced menu. However, it appears that the embed fonts is not one of the profiles for AA8. AA9 has an embed fonts profile. If you have all of the original files available, the fastest approach might be to go back to the original files and recreate the PDFs, selecting the Press or Print job options. For combining, you may have to change the job options to not embed subsets. Sometimes the use of subsets causes problems when combining. Before you waste time on a whole set of files, I would suggest you play with 1 or 2 to see if things work out. I hope this process resolves your issues. Basically, all I am suggesting is what I would try to make it work. You can also use ctrl-D in Acrobat to get the document properties and check the font embedding under the font tab. If it does not say embedded, then it is not embedded.

  • Error (file skipped) when combining files

Getting an error message on some files(error file skipped)@ when combining files, the properties of the files with errors are the same as the files which are okay. Anyone got a fix for this?

No the the files aren’t protected. But I solved the problem by copying the files to another folder.
Seems like another process was still using the files(strange but that’s data for you)
