  • New page ignored when adding Application type items

    Is it a bug or a feature?
    When I add an item of type "Application type" and I enter "Link That Displays Item In New Browser Window" the application is still opened in the window with the folder.
    Using Portal 3.0.8 ....

    Works fine in 3.0.9. Do you mean "Application Component" type?

  • Unwanted duplication of pages when adding from another PDF?

    Hi all
    Had this a couple of times recently, when I'm cutting in pages from another PDF into a main one, for some reason it's throwing in duplicates of those new pages? Also happened to me when I saved a PDF at reduced size. Stumped! Appreciate any advice.
    Thanks
    H

    Acrobat Pro. Last time it happened, I'd PDFd the main document, with some tweaks to the preset jpeg resolutions to try to squeeze file size down a little. Then had to cut in a couple of pages from another source PDF, which was just two pages, but also on the large size. From the second source file, it wouldn't let me 'save optimised', so I opted for the reduced file size option, it allowed me to do that, but when it had saved this, it then had 14 pages! 7 of p1, 7 of p2.
    Another time, it was working from the same document, but had varying page sizes (a booklet with one of those foldout form type things at the end), the first section had to be singles, then the form section as spreads. First section and second section PDF fine. When I try to cut the form into the main one, same thing, a load of unwanted dupes.
    In both cases, it didn't want to then let me delete the unwanted pages, which would have been a quick way around it.

    and as i mentioned, what's the problem related to that code.  the reason i ask is because that code shouldn't compile.  specifically,
    stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, kill);
                timer = new Timer(5000);
                timer.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, addGifts);
                timer.start();
    is incorrect.  and
        private function addGifts(eTimerEvent)
                prevCount = count;
                count ++;
                for (var i:uint = prevCount; i < count; i++)
                var gift:Gift = new Gift();
                gift.name = "gift" + i;
                gift.x = Math.random() * stage.stageWidth; // is the same as (0 to 0.99) * 550
                gift.y = Math.random() * stage.stageHeight;  // is the same as (0 to 0.99) * 576
                addChild(gift);
            private function giftShower()
    is incorrect.
    if you don't have a problem with your code compiling, then copy your code and paste it into this forum.

  • DI API Problem when generating documents with Item with BOM "Template"

    I have a web application we've been using for years, we created an interface to select with child items from the BOM template you want to add, just like in SAP when you add this items in the document lines.
    For some reason through the DI it automatically adds again this items additionally to the ones I selected, is there a way to change this behaviour?
    I checked the Document.Lines.Count property when I add the item and after I add it in SAP and I get the total items that I put in the first place, but in the final document in SAP its completly different

  • Newly added af:table items are not sorted? Bug?

    I have written a simple adf faces 10.1.3.0.4 screen with an af:table and made it sortable calling SortableModel.setWrappedData() with an ArrayList of VOs. When the user clicks a header, the rows are sorted as expected. So far, so good.
    Now I do a PPR on the table and add some additional VOs to the ArrayList. Next the af:table re-renders itself and these new rows show up at the bottom of the af:table, IGNORING the user's chosen sort order. Is this a bug or am I missing a step/setting?
    Or maybe the question is when adding these new items to the underlying ArrayList, is there a way to force the SortableModel to re-sort its contents?
    I can post the sample code if the explanation is not clear. Thanks.

    After additional investigation what I found was that the item most recently added to the table is not sorted, but it gets sorted once another item is added, etc, etc. So there is always one item not in the correct order. This simple example below (which demonstrates polling, PPR and height limited table scrolling) will show the behavior. Click on the header to sort the column, then watch the bottom of the list...after the table refreshes (5 seconds), the bottom row will not be sorted.
    So my question is, "Can anyone think of a way to get the bottom item to participate in the sorting"?

  • Getting an unwanted line when adding a swf file to dreamweaver and previewing it in the browser...

    I created a very simple swf with a box moving from stage right onto the stage.  It works fine when previewing the swf itself, but when previewing from dreamweaver there is a small line that only extends half way across the swf file (which happens to be the length of the box). I even made the box smaller than the stage but the line still appears at the bottom.

    Sometimes it helps to create a box in the background color that overlaps the edge of the stage. I had the same problem with a .swf that had a black background. The web page had a black background too but there was a white line at the bottom of the .swf when I previewed it in the browser. I added a black box to the background that went past the bottom of the stage and into the surrounding area and resaved it. The white line disappeared.

  • C#: when adding listview items the screen flashes and only single listview column loads?

    When adding listview items, the listview1 items flash and only the first listview column loads (there are 5 columns in all)?
    Background...
    I was having cross-threading issues on 3 form components which I was able to resolve (see
    code here). Now I think the soluiton which involves creating a delegate and performing an "InvokeRequired" check (see
    what I used), I'm having an issue passing 5 values for each column. Below is the code involved calling this invoking check for each and their methods.
    Before having the cross-thread issue the "listview1.Items.Add(values.text) add the comma separated string values to the appropriate columns, but that doesn't happen through the cross-thread fix required.
    The "Loading()" method is handled through and async/await method causing the initial cross-thread issue.
    private void Loading()
    int t = 1;
    foreach (string line in scripts)
    string[] listValues = line.Split(',');
    ListViewItem values = new ListViewItem(listValues);
    if (t == 1)
    AddColumn("Script Name", 200); // Creates column headings
    AddColumn("Date and Time", 150);
    AddColumn("SID", 75);
    AddColumn("Environment", 75);
    AddColumn("Client", 75);
    t++;
    else
    if ((values.Text != "") && (values.Text != "Script Name"))
    //listView1.Items.Add(values);
    AddItem(values.Text);
    if (!dictScript.Contains(values.Text))
    dictScript.Add(values.Text);
    //cbxScriptList.Items.Add(values.Text);
    AddScript(values.Text);
    private void AddItem(object o)
    if (this.listView1.InvokeRequired)
    AddItemCallback d = new AddItemCallback(AddItem);
    this.Invoke(d, new object[] { o });
    else
    { // code that adds item to listView (in this case $o)
    listView1.Items.Add(o.ToString());
    private void AddScript(object o)
    if (this.listView1.InvokeRequired)
    AddCBXCallback d = new AddCBXCallback(AddScript);
    this.Invoke(d, new object[] { o });
    else
    { // code that adds item to listView (in this case $o)
    cbxScriptList.Items.Add(o.ToString());
    private void AddColumn(object o1, object o2)
    if (this.listView1.InvokeRequired)
    AddColCallback d = new AddColCallback(AddColumn);
    this.Invoke(d, new object[] { o1, o2 });
    else
    { // code that adds item to listView (in this case $o)
    listView1.Columns.Add(o1.ToString(), (int)o2); // Creates column headings
    SV

    Ok, I still have the flickering issue, I could use some guidance on that. And I should note that before I had the code-threading issue, I never had any flickering, it all appeared simultaneously.
    However, I was able to populate all columns (5 in all).  I had two corrections to make.
    1) My method should not have been passing the parameter as text but as the object ListViewItem:
    // Not This...
    AddItem(values.text)
    // This is Correct...
    AddItem(values)
    2) Then I needed to cast my object as a ListViewItem in my method call:
    private void AddItem(object o)
    if (this.listView.InvokeRequired)
    AddItemCallback d = new AddItemCallback(AddItem);
    this.Invoke(d, new object[] { (ListViewItem)o });
    else { // code that adds item to listView (in this case $o)
    listView1.Items.Add((ListViewItem)o);

  • I want to eliminate an autofill choice that pops up when I sign into yahoo using the Firefox browser. I tried yahoo help which said hover over the unwanted line and press delete, but that did not work. I am using a Mac if that makes a difference.

    Question
    I want to eliminate an autofill choice that pops up when I sign into yahoo using the Firefox browser. I tried yahoo help which said hover over the unwanted line and press delete, but that did not work. Do you know how I can get rid of this autofill? I am using a Mac if that makes a difference. Thanks.

    Use Shift+Delete on Mac.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Deleting_autocomplete_entries
    *Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
    *Highlight an entry in the drop down list
    *Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

  • How come when I view flash videos my videos stop, but the audio plays  and I see rainbow colored lines up and down the video.

    How come when I view flash videos my videos stop, but the audio plays  and I see rainbow colored lines up and down the video. I attached a image below.

    ATR, just to make sure you understand me, all my video clips in my folders appear as the first frame of the video clip when I view my folders as (small, medium, large)icons instead of lists, when saved as .avi files but when saved as .mp4 files, those icons display as a graphic icon of filmstrip with a musical note on it. I do have various other methods to open with (quick time, windows media, winamp or real player) but prefer real player because I like it's quick and easy trimmer that comes along with it, since so many of my videos are just pet antics where you need to clip off the boring beginning and ends of the video.
    I did go on a few of the icons and right clicked, Open With, and tried quick time and also Windows Media and it did nothing as far as how the file was saved for display, and they opened the same no matter which player I used...the actual video opens and plays right at it's first frame... but it's the way it is visually displayed in STORAGE that bugs me because it isn't immediately apparent to me what it is a video of (weddings, outside the house, pet antics)... it makes me have to actually title things and read titles where before I let it just be dates because I had the visual of that first frame as a reference. Obviously, this is a problem for unedited videos only, as anything I actually work with, I do give a title along with the date of the video.
    I also just realized this seems to be the way ALL videos that are wrapped in .mp4 are displayed, as my bloggie camera's videos appear the same way. Now I know why! My other videos display as .avi's so I see the frame. Puzzle solved. Guess I'll just have to learn to live with it, as it seems to be how things display with the various formats.
    Now I need to watch some tutorials to learn how this Premiere program works! It's all new to me, since this is the first time I've been able load any of my videos onto it. I haven't even been able to figure out how to trim on it yet!

  • How to allow only new combinations when adding lines in manual planning?

    Hello Xperts.
    in manual planning (input ready query called over web-template) the user wishes to plan (change the key figure values) for already existing combinations and to add new lines (which has been enabled in the web-template through a button group).
    The crux of the matter is that the user is supposed to be able to enter only new unique combinations of data. Hence the user may not enter already existing characteristic combinations as a new line.
    I have noticed that the system default is that if the user enters an already existing combination when "adding a new line", the value entered for the key figures is simply added to the existing value (summation) of that characteristic combination. This is unacceptable to the business requirements!
    I thought about solving with a check combination exit (CL_RSPLS_CR_EXIT_BASE), but the problem is that all already existing combinations would be invalid, hence it would not work I think.
    I would appreciate any suggestions out there how this could be accomplished. Thank you.

    Hi,
      The best option that satisfies your requirement is to create a custom planning function to accept only new combinations.
    For this check the following link,
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/43/0c033316cd2bc4e10000000a114cbd/frameset.htm
    In the above go to BI Integrated Planning -> BI Integrated Planning -> Implementing Planning Function Types
    After this, in your "Save" button on the workbook insert this custom function also before the "Save".
    So once you click "Save" button first check is performed and error is thrown if the records entered by the user are not as per your requirement.
    Regards,
    Balajee

  • How can I see more than 100 users when adding users to a node?

    When adding new users through the User Management interface, only the
    first 100 entries are listed. How do I increase the number of entries
    so I can see the next hundred (or more) users? Is this done via the server
    configuration parameter maxsearchresult?
    <P>
    The GUI Add User to Node option was meant for infrequent adds in smaller
    environments. In large deployments (more than 100 user adds at a time), you
    should be using the command line script "unidsattach". See the Administrators
    Guide for more details on the command.
    <p>
    The parameter, maxsearchresult, is meant to limit the number of users that can
    be returned on a search request by the calendar client. For example, if you have
    1000's of calendar users and someone tries to search for all of them, this
    parameter will make sure that the user is not left waiting a long time for
    results.

    In Settings > Notification Center, try turning "on" all the six buttons under "Today View".  Also turn "on" the top two buttons under "Access on Lock Screen".  Doing that should show you "Tomorrow" at the bottom of Noticiation Center.

    so here is the deal:

    * TableSorter is a decorator for TableModels; adding sorting
    * functionality to a supplied TableModel. TableSorter does
    * not store or copy the data in its TableModel; instead it maintains
    * a map from the row indexes of the view to the row indexes of the
    * model. As requests are made of the sorter (like getValueAt(row, col))
    * they are passed to the underlying model after the row numbers
    * have been translated via the internal mapping array. This way,
    * the TableSorter appears to hold another copy of the table
    * with the rows in a different order.
    * <p/>
    * TableSorter registers itself as a listener to the underlying model,
    * just as the JTable itself would. Events recieved from the model
    * are examined, sometimes manipulated (typically widened), and then
    * passed on to the TableSorter's listeners (typically the JTable).
    * If a change to the model has invalidated the order of TableSorter's
    * rows, a note of this is made and the sorter will resort the
    * rows the next time a value is requested.
    * <p/>
    * When the tableHeader property is set, either by using the
    * setTableHeader() method or the two argument constructor, the
    * table header may be used as a complete UI for TableSorter.
    * The default renderer of the tableHeader is decorated with a renderer
    * that indicates the sorting status of each column. In addition,
    * a mouse listener is installed with the following behavior:
    * <ul>
    * <li>
    * Mouse-click: Clears the sorting status of all other columns
    * and advances the sorting status of that column through three
    * values: {NOT_SORTED, ASCENDING, DESCENDING} (then back to
    * NOT_SORTED again).
    * <li>
    * SHIFT-mouse-click: Clears the sorting status of all other columns
    * and cycles the sorting status of the column through the same
    * three values, in the opposite order: {NOT_SORTED, DESCENDING, ASCENDING}.
    * <li>
    * CONTROL-mouse-click and CONTROL-SHIFT-mouse-click: as above except
    * that the changes to the column do not cancel the statuses of columns
    * that are already sorting - giving a way to initiate a compound
    * sort.
    * </ul>
    * <p/>
    * This is a long overdue rewrite of a class of the same name that
    * first appeared in the swing table demos in 1997.

    The code you posted doesn't help us at all. Its just a duplicate of the code from the tutorial. The custom code is what you have written. For example do you update the TableModel from the Event Thread? Do you update the SortModel or the DefaultTableModel? If you actually provide your test code and somebody has already downloaded the sort classes, then maybe they will test your code against the classes. But I doubt if people will download the sort classes and create a test program just to see if they can duplicate your results (at least I know I'm not about to).
