Unzip.vi only works with 1-internal file, error2 with multiple even in raw form.

I've attempted to use the LabView unzip tool with several different meathods & I can only get it to work when there's only one file in the zip file. Multiple files continually cause an error in the VI, even when using raw LabView example code/tools. The first file does get unzipped in the specified folder before the error. Error 2 occurred at System Exec.vi. Command was "touch 08131333062007 "Chamber 1.ted"",LabVIEW:  Memory is full.

Thanks for you response Juan & while this gives me some insight as to where the error is occurring it doesn't solve my problem. You can use the NI provided "Zip Tool.vi" to zip some files & then start a new blank VI & drop in the unzip tool & do nothing with it & run the Untiltled VI like that & it'll prompt for the file & as soon as you select the file...."Error 2", you can even double-click the unzip from the block diagram & use it that way.  I did this as a test to verify that what I'm doing wasn't causing the problem. My actual code uses the "File Dialog Express VI" in a flat sequence to first determine the zip file then the unzip-to location then runs the unzip function. I even get folders if zipped but only one file, no error if there's only one file, the error only occurs with multiple files.
It appears to be an access issue as if it gets the first file & then trys to re-access for the next. I could handle this if it had functions to close the reference but it doesn't. I did try to take the preview, turn it into an array, run it through a for-loop but there's no way to specify a specific file w/in a zip file.
Any thoughts?

    Hi Everyone, I have tried all the solutions mentioned by apple and still have a white screen with a blinking file folder with a question mark in the center, anyone have any ideas or experienced this?

    Nooo or you would use OS X Recovery Mode: Disk Utilty and then Startup Disk.

  • My iMac has a white screen with a flashing file folder with a question mark in the middle.  What does that mean?

    My iMac is completely unresponsive.  Whenever I restart it, it's just a white screen with a flashing file folder with a question mark in the middle.  What does this mean?

    this means the mac cannot find the startup disc. which more times than not means you need a hdd replacement.
    try starting holding the option key, then using utilities try to repair the disc.

  • File folder with question mark, file folder with question mark

    Battery died went to turn on computer with adapter plug...
    white screen with flashin file folder with a question mark???
    How do i fix this?

    That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the Operating System data on the hard drive is somehow corrupted.
    Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
    Or if you are running 10.7 Lion, boot from the recovery partition (Command +R on boot) and use Disk Utility to repair your OS 10.7 partition.
    When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. When it comes up is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
    If it is, then click on the Mac OS partition of your hard drive in the left hand list. Then select the First Aid Tab and run Repair Disk. The Repair Disk button won't be available until you've clicked on the Mac OS partition on your hard drive. If that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions. After repairing use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for restarting from your hard drive.
    If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.

  • When I start up my imac, a white screen shows up with a blinking file icon with a question mark on it

    Now, I've tried all the steps on http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1440?viewlocale=en_US
    When I hold down the option key, all that shows is the mouse arrow, nothing else.
    When I try the disk utility idea, I'm unable to press the repair disk option, the only thing I can press is something along the lines of 'verify disk permission' which tells me that there's no package, or something like that.
    I've reset the PRAM, but all that that has done is that now when i start up my computer, the startup sound actually goes off, instead of it being silent before.
    I've had this computer for almost three years now, and I have a lot of important files in there, so I don't want to reinstall Mac OS X. Is there anything else I can do?

    How to Perform an Archive and Install
    An Archive and Install will NOT erase your hard drive, but you must have sufficient free space for a second OS X installation which could be from 3-9 GBs depending upon the version of OS X and selected installation options. The free space requirement is over and above normal free space requirements which should be at least 6-10 GBs. Read all the linked references carefully before proceeding.
    1. Be sure to use Disk Utility first to repair the disk before performing the Archive and Install.
    Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
    Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
    If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    2. Do not proceed with an Archive and Install if DU reports errors it cannot fix. In that case use Disk Warrior and/or TechTool Pro to repair the hard drive. If neither can repair the drive, then you will have to erase the drive and reinstall from scratch.
    3. Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When you reach the screen to select a destination drive click once on the destination drive then click on the Option button. Select the Archive and Install option. You have an option to preserve users and network preferences. Only select this option if you are sure you have no corrupted files in your user accounts. Otherwise leave this option unchecked. Click on the OK button and continue with the OS X Installation.
    4. Upon completion of the Archive and Install you will have a Previous System Folder in the root directory. You should retain the PSF until you are sure you do not need to manually transfer any items from the PSF to your newly installed system.
    5. After moving any items you want to keep from the PSF you should delete it. You can back it up if you prefer, but you must delete it from the hard drive.
    6. You can now download a Combo Updater directly from Apple's download site to update your new system to the desired version as well as install any security or other updates. You can also do this using Software Update.

    JFrame.setDefaultLookAndFeelDecorated(true);
    Personnel GUI = new Personnel();
    public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException {
              String[] temporary = new String[employeeNumber];
              ArrayCreate();
    temporary = joinString();
    temporary = sortEm(temporary, employeeNumber);
    splitString(temporary);
    javax.swing.SwingUtilities.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
    public void run() {

    int column;
         for (row = 0; row < (employeeNumber); row++) {    // verify proper output by ArrayCreate splitString
    for (column = 0; column <= 2; column++) {
    System.out.print(sortHelp[row][column]);
    System.out.print(' ');
    System.out.print(' ');
    System.out.println();
    Now that code above produces two errors. First of all.
    local trim();produces the error:
    Syntax error, insert "AssignmentOperator ArrayInitializer" to complete ArrayInitializerAssignementSecondly, if I take that into comments, the line
    setLabel(m.get(LineField.getText()));Produces the error:
    The method setLabel(String) in the type Personnel is not applicable for the arguments (Object)If anybody could help me solve these, I would be sincerely thankfull.
    Now, before anybody asks as to why I want to trim the String in the first place, it is due to the fact that I compare it to another String that is without whitespaces. Thus the field that DOES have whitespaces was preventing me from launching into the if loop:
    if (sortHelp[1]==local) {
                   flag=true;
    (within actionperformed) Or at least that's my explanation as to why the loop never launched. If it is wrong, can somebody please explain?)
    I apologize for the horrible indentation and lack of comments. This is an unfinished version.. I'll be adding the comments last (won't that be a joy), as well as looking for things to cut down on and make the program more efficient.
    Anyways,
    Thanks in Advance,

  • Error with running JAR files created with NetBeans

    I have been having difficulty running the JAR files that NetBeans compiles. When I run my code from NetBeans, it always works just fine, but when I try to run the compiled JAR I get the following errors:

    This is happening for multiple projects now, though I don't remember it happening before. What am I doing wrong? Why is this happening? How can I fix it? Thank you for any insights...

    Oh, I forgot to mention, all the NetBeans samples work, just not apps that I create. This is very frustrating!

  • Applet with adittional jar files / mp3 with Jlayer

    In order to support multiple MP3 encodings, I created a class that extends MediaPlayer called [MediaPlayerMP3|http://svn.vacavitoria.com/cabecudinhos_1/mp3AsMediaPlayer/src/mp3asmediaplayer/MediaPlayerMP3.fx] ,
    that uses Jlayer to play mp3 files in a separated thread, this works fine inside Netbeans,
    but when I try to run in a applet there is no sounds ...
    I tried to change the HTML to add the jlayer jar mannualy but didnt work also.
    <script>
        javafx(
                  archive: "mp3AsMediaPlayer.jar,jl1.0.1.jar",
                  draggable: true,
                  width: 300,
                  height: 200,
                  code: "mp3asmediaplayer.Main",
                  name: "mp3AsMediaPlayer"
    </script>any idea ?
    the project is available here

    First fix your html and regenerate the page using the htmlconverter. Valid html requires quotes around attribute values. The code attribute should point at the class file which you are using. In this case, it appears that your ShopSimulation resides in the shop package, so this should be "shop/ShopSimulation.class". Finally, the archive attribute is a relative URI specifying the location of the archive. The way you have written it, the location should be in the same directory as the html page itself. Also, ensure that your jar contents are proper.
    jar tf VirtualShop.jarMETA-INF/
    META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
    shop/ShopSimulation.class
    ...Here's the fixed up html.
    <head><title>Virtual Shop
    </title></head>
    <body>
    <applet code="shop/ShopSimulation.class"
    archive="VirtualShop.jar"
    width=200 height=100>
    </applet>
    </body>

  • How do I revert to replaced audio files being saved with the project file, *not* with the original audio files?

    In the latest release, when you send an audio clip to Audition, the newly created audio clip - which was previously saved in the same folder as the project file - is saved next to the original audio file.
    Makes sense, but for reasons to boring to go into, it's a major headache for my workflow, because it means combing through folders to find the files, instead of having them all in once place.
    So how to I turn this off and revert to those files being saved next to the project file?

    Hey Steve,
    You'll want to connect your phone to your computer and sync it in iTunes. You can read more about it here:

    Please help, other forum from 2011 didn't help. Can't get info because I can't log in.

    See this Apple note, which applies to OS X 10.7 Lion as well. This Apple note applies to OS X 10.6 and earlier but provides a little more information. When they talk about booting from CD, that's a boot with command and r keys held down in OS X 10.7 Lion.

  • I have an iMac with 2 internal drives and set-up with multiple user accounts.  How do I create a path to store data files on my second drive within an application?

    I have an iMac with 2 internal drives and a multiple user account set-up.  Hw do I create a path to store data files on the second drive within an application?

    This is the Mac mini forum not the iMac forum however...
    Applications written for average users like Photoshop, Word, i.e. GUI based applications provide a 'Save' dialog box which while allow selecting second drives or any drive. The dialob box initially shown might be in the simple mode but you just need to click on the triangle to show the full set of options. You should then see the different drive names amongst other options.
    If your referring to an application your writing yourself then you need to build a pathname. This can be in one of two styles depending on the programming system your using. This could be a POSIX style path or a Mac style path.
    POSIX = /Volumes/volname/foldername
    Mac style = Volname:foldername:

  • Sync iPad with an internal network via WIFI and file exchange?

    Hi all,
    Our architects firm is currently trying to cut down on its paper waste. One sollution we are exploring is a system by which Ipad's can be synced with our internal file network (via wifi), we can download onto an Ipad PDF files which can be viewed, annotated and reuploaded via the network. It would be essential that the network is internal and isn't an icloud type of thing. Is such a system possible?
    Thanks

    This will give you access to the documents.  You are own your own about version control.

  • File sender with content conversion and ignoreRecordsetName

    Him,
    I have an scenario with a compressed file sender with content conversion.
    In my sender cc i have:
    1     AF_Modules/PayloadZipBean     Local Enterprise Bean     unzip
    2     AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean     Local Enterprise Bean     transform
    3     CallSapAdapter     Local Enterprise Bean     2
    In module configuration, I have also added:
    xml.ignoreRecordsetName  --> true
    But RecordsetName is not removed from XML
    Why?
    thanks, in advance
    Carme

    Hi,
    No need to enter anything in module configuration. Just specify following Name-Value pair in the table provided on the Content Conversion tab of your file adapter.
    Add a row with Name = ignoreRecordsetName and Value = true (Both case-sensitive)
    For details, see [this link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2c/181077dd7d6b4ea6a8029b20bf7e55/content.htm].

  • Flashing File Icon with Question Mark Upon Start-Up

    Today when I went to use my computer (which was already on) it went blank and then came up with a gray screen with a flashing file icon with a question mark in the middle of it. I have already troubleshot things with several forums online and nothing has worked. I have tried to restart in Safe mode, single user mode, verbose mode, and tried to get on using my option key which got me to an internet login screen finally. I tried to log in and eventually got to an apply.com/support screen with -1007f underneath. I am not 100% which operating system I am on. I know that it is Mac OS X and pretty recent. Please respond if you can help!
