Update / create records in Novell DNS
Hello,
it is possible to update / create a record in the forward and reverse zone at the same time?
(With my old BIND server I use the webmin tool and there is a checkbox "update reverse".)

but it seems that it is only working if you set up the reverse zone in iManager or DNS console. If you import the zones then it fails. And if you delete a record in the forward zone nothing happens in the reverse zone.

The above coding updates only one record to that

If i enter 2nd district value means then the first record

Any one can help me and send the coding plz....instead of using set attribute you should use bind table method to display/update the records in table view.

Update/create the purchase info records
Hi All,
i got a requirment for update/create the purchase info records for the transaction ME11.
i came to know that the FM <b>ME_DIRECT_INPUT_INFORECORD</b> is suitable for this requirment.
but when i am trying to test this by passing data to I_EINA and I_EINE.
it is giving some error message like "<b>Please enter at least one vendor</b>, Number entered not within external number range and etc".
can any one guid me in passing the data to this function module, i.e. what are the required fields that are to be passed to this FM.
if i have to update/create the EINA & EINE table data.

Error while updating a record in MS Access
Im new to coldfusion and am running into a problem while
trying to update a record in a MS Access table.
I have a MS Access table where the primary key is a
auto-number long integer field named jobid.
I have an edit form where info can be changed then saved. A
hidden form field named jobid holds the records primary key field
value for the record being edited. When submitted this is what
happens:
I use a basic SQL UPDATE statement but I get the error "Data
type mismatch in criteria expression"
Some code:

*dont know if i need the above line but using #FORM.jobid#
in the WHERE clause below didnt work either

The WHERE clause is where the error occurs with "Data type
mismatch in criteria expression"
After a few times with that i changed the where clause to
simply "WHERE jobid=1" as this record id does exist, but it has the
same error.
I then tried changing the where clause to
WHERE jobid=<cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint"
value="#FORM.jobid#">
and there it "appears" to work, but the record is not
actually updated. No changes are made to the table though no error
is thrown.
Im missing something here... why wont the record update
?The data type mismatch isn't necessarily in your where
clause. I'm guessing that it's the quotes around the create
odbcdate function.
use of cfqueryparam will solve a lot of these problems for
you. -
Unable to create records in database using PHP Data Service
Hello, I've been stuck on this for a few days and search up and down for this on the net, no response I've found has worked, so I come to you...
Here are the steps I've taken, I think it's pretty standard
1. I have a macbook pro running osx 10.7.3
2. I installed MAMP all default (I've acually reinstalled this because someone suggested this might fix it)
3. Thru phpMyAdmin I created a database called my_test
4. In that database I created a table, this is the export of that table: (I've also tried this with InnoDB which is the default)

5. I created a new Flx Project (Running Flash Builder 4.5.1 Premium)

Application Type: Desktop (Although I've done the same thing with Web and got the same results)

Web Root: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/
URL Root: http://localhost:8888/
Clicked 'Validate Configuration' and that worked
Output Folder: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/PHPService (default by Flash Builder)

6. On the Data/Services tab on the bottom I click 'Connect to Data/Service...'
Select 'PHP'
>> Next
Select 'Click here to generate a sample'
Select 'Generate from database' radio button
Username: root
Password: root (default for MAMP)
Host name: localhost
Server port: 8889 (default for MAMP MySQL port, the HTTP port default is 8888 which in both cases seem to work but every video I've seen that uses MAMP on youtube uses 8889)
Database: my_test
Click 'Test Connection' (works)
Table: customer
Primary Key: id (this field is greyed out and Flash Builder selects 'id' which it figures out from the SQL table)

7. Then if I don't have the Zend Framework folder in my /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/ folder it tells me its going to create that and I say alright. Then Flash Builder says stuff about how this is really only for testing and not production server ready and I say alright.
8. Then it takes me back to the Form from Step 6 when I get the chance to select 'Click here to generate a sample'
These fields are now filled with this data automaticly:
PHP Class: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/PHPTest/services/CustomerService.php
Service name: CustomerService
Service package: services.customerservice
Data type package: valueObjects
>> Click Next (shows all the functions that will be now availible)
>> Click Finished (End of the forms and it opens Dreamweaver to the php file it created CustomerService.php which I have no need to edit so I close that down)
9. Back in Flash Builder I switch to design view and drag a datagrid onto the big white area in the middle, whatever that is called.
10. Then below in Data/Services tab on the bottom I click drag the function 'GetAllCustomer' on top of the datagrid.
I say yes to rebound and click ok and the view of the datagrid is updated with the colums from the 'customer' table in mySQL.
(Now let me say that when I hit save and compile this, if I actually had records in this table that I insert thru phpMyAdmin, this does show in the datagrid. So for the whole CRUD thing I am able to get the R which is Read)
11. Now going back to the design view in Flash Builder I will create a form to create records in the table... (I guess this isn't really a step)
12. In the Data/Service tab on the bottom I select 'createCustomer' function and then there is an icon called 'Generate Form' that looks like a white piece of paper with a gear on the bottom of it.
13. This opens up a new form and since I don't have a crazy bunch of fields in my table I just click Finished (If you click next you can specify which fields you want to exclude from the form but this time I don't need to)
14. This actually creates 2 forms if you look at the code, the second just shows the return type from when you click 'CreateCustomer' button on the first form. Because they overlap in design view I drag the form out of the way so you can see the input form, the return form, and the datagrid
15. Then I save and compile...
(Also if your actually reading this I didn't remove the id form field, I get the same result either way, but if you do remove the form field in the code/design you also have to update the button function to not deal with the id before it gets sent off to the php page since in this case the MySQL table is set to auto_increment the id, sorry this doesn't make much sence but this little area doesn't matter much either way)
16. Now fill in whatever data you want for name and email, try differnt numbers in the id field like 0, nothing, 1, 1000 and click 'CreateCustomer'
(For me nothing happens, no return is put in the return field, no error pops up and the datagrid is not updated with the new record, also going over to phpMyAdmin and checking out the table browse doesn't show any changes either, I know the button is calling the function because if I add a state change in that function it changes, it would seem that the line:
createCustomerResult.token = customerService.createCustomer(customer2); doesn't do anything)
So any idea what is wrong here, I'm convenced it's something stupid easy simple I just can't see it.In case you need more info, here is a code dump on a mxml project that has this problem:

I have a base template (which has never been sysprep'd) from which I create linked clones. After the linked clone comes up, I run the following command:

This is typical of an OEM license issue.
To avoid this in the future you should look at site/volume licensing.
Anyway.
so, first check if you can re-arm by runing the
slmgr.vbs /dlv and check the re-arm counter, if it set to zero.. you need to do the following :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929828 (set the <SkipRearm>1</SkipRearm> like in the example, note: this option will make the product key window to appear in the setup process).
you can also try running : slmgr.vbs -rearm, to rearm Windows.
after that, let's come back to the sysprep process.. for syspreping already syspreped machine we have to change few keys in the registry :

CleanupState:2

Start -> Run : msdtc -uninstall (wait few seconds)
Start -> Run : msdtc -install (wait few seconds)
Restart the machine
Check the registry for the right registry keys values
sysprep with the new XML answerfile.

How to only update existing records when loading master data ?
Hello experts, I need your lights one more time.
Here is my need :
I have created an infoobject (IO) which is a very simple version of 0material, let's call it Znewmat --> Znewmat has material type and trademark as attributes, those two fields are available in 2 different datasources :
- 0MATERIAL_ATTR for material type (field MTART)
- 0MAT_SALES_ATTR for trademark (field MVGR2)
When loading my new IO from 0MATERIAL_ATTR I use a filter (at DTP level) to get only a few material types (I get something like 1000 records),
here is my issue : when I load from 0MAT_SALES_ATTR the field "material type" is not available to keep the same filter as for 0MATERIAL_ATTR and existing records are updated with the trademark, but I also get 5000 records I don't need, and my master data is "polluated" with useless lines.
*and my question : is there a way while performing the second loading to ONLY UPDATE EXISTING RECORDS AND NOT ADD ANY
NEW RECORDS ? (i didn't find anything in main options of my DTP)*
(I'd like to avoid the solution to update the 0MAT_SALES_ATTR datasource to add the missing field)

Still no idea ?in the start routine of transformation from 0MAT_SALES_ATTR to znewmat do the following:
select materials from /BIC/PZNEWMAT into i_mat
for all entries in source_package where material eq source_package-material.
loop at source_package.
p_ind = sy-tabix.
read table i_mat with key material = source_package-material.
if sy-subrc ne 0.
delete i_mat index p_ind.
endif.
this way you'll only update records that have previously been loaded by 0MATERIAL_ATTR DS
loading sequence:
first load ZNEWMAT from 0MATERIAL_ATTR. then activate ZNEWMAT. then load 0MAT_SALES_ATTR to ZNEWMAT.

Every thing is running well when i update single record but when i want to update multiple record then my current row only updated in pay_apply_det but log table( pay_apply_appr) created for all record.

If you are able to insert into, all you need to do is iterate through the rows. For this , before the first IF condition

Updating a record on a certain date
Hi,
I have a little problem with updating a record on a certain
date specified in the same table.
OK so i have a table called 'users' and in that table i have
the following fields:
AdID
Username
AdStatus
AdStartDate
AdPeriod
(and a few more but i've listed the important ones here)
What i have done is, when a user places an AD, it inserts
into the table the user's username, the ad status (e.g. Active,
Suspended ect), the day on which the advert was placed, the period
the ad has been placed for (e.g 6 months, 1 yr, 2yr ect).
What i would like to do is to create an auntomatic function
that checks the date in the table, and see if it is 6 months, 1yr,
2yr old or whatever and if it is, update the status to suspended.
Problem is, i dont know how :(
I thought about adding a countdown script and when it reaches
Zero, run a stored procedure but i dont know anything about them.
Could somebody PLEASE help me this is driving me mad. I've
been trying all kinds of ways but no luck. Anyone with the 'know
how' that can point me in the right direction would be a BIG start.
I am using ASP.VB and MYSQL 5.

I can't help you with the ASP side of it, but since you're
using MySQL,
you could simplify your problem by adopting a different
approach. Add an
expiry_date column (DATETIME type) and use the MySQL
DATE_ADD() function
to insert the date on which the ad expires. If your minimum
period is
one month, you can simply use MONTH as the the period in
DATE_ADD, and
use a variable to change the number of months (e.g., 24 for 2
years).
INSERT INTO myTable (expiry_date, other_cols)
VALUES(DATE_ADD(NOW(), INTERVAL x MONTH), other_vals)

Rather than have an active/expired column, just use the

Sql query to Load only new records,or update old records

According to your description, if you want to insert only new records which does not exist in destination and update existing records which does exist in destination. We usually accomplish these in two statement.
1.A join statement to update records.
2.A insert statement for new records.
Also we can use MERGE in SQL Server to insert, update at the same time. You specify a "Source" record set and a "Target" table, and the join between the two. You then specify the type of data modification that is to occur when the records between the two

Update new record in database table
I'm working with TestStand 4.2 and MySQL database with user-defined tables.
There is "test_results" table with autoincrement "id" (primary index).
I want to:
1. write a new record to the test_results table - some data and status "Running"
2. run a test (pass to a test sequence its "id", test uses this id for writing data to database)
3. update the record: set execution time and update status.
So, the steps are as below:
1. Open database
2. Open SQL statement: "select * from test_results".
3. Data Operation: operation - "Set and Put", record to operate on - "New - Create New Record". In the "Column/Parameter Values" tab I set the new record values.
Here I want to retrieve the new record "id". How to do it?

SELECT @@IDENTITY

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to use JavaScript to work with SharePoint list.
To create list items, we can create a ListItemCreationInformation object, set its properties, and pass it as parameter to the addItem(parameters) function
of the List object.
To set list item properties, we can use a column indexer to make an assignment, and call the update() function so that changes will take effect when you callexecuteQueryAsync(succeededCallback,
failedCallback).
And to delete a list item, call the deleteObject() function on the object.
