Update existing Java Mapping in NWDS

Hi,
I need to update the existing Java Mapping. I downloaded the existing mapping from imported archive and modified it in NWDS but it is giving lots of errors regarding missing libraries(JARs).
I just need to do a small change in code.
Can anyone suggest how to compile it and creat a JAR and which i can upload back as an imported archive?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Bharat

Hi,
Make sure that you have the below jars or else you can find them in your XI server.
aii_adapter_xi_svc.jar,aii_af_cci.jar,aii_af_cpa.jar,aii_af_mp.jar,aii_af_ms_api.jar,aii_af_ms_spi.jar,aii_af_svc.jar,aii_af_trace.jar,aii_map_api.jar,aii_mt_rt.jar,aii_util_xml.jar,aii_utilxi_misc.jar
Then import these jars to Project Explorer section --> Properties --> Java Build Path --> Libraries --> Add External Jars  in NWDS.
Compile the code.
For making a jar file run this command from the command prompt.Input file are the source code file and the .class file.
jar cf jar-file input-file(s)

  • Calling a already existing mapping from a java mapping

    Hi.
Is it possible to get a reference to an existing graphical mapping in a new java mapping or new user defined function?
    Rod

    Hi,
If you have the mapping to run one after another and you need the output of mapping1 as input of mapping2 then you can add this in Interface mapping one after the other with required Message Interface.
Don't know if you can refer to a standard Graphical mapping in a Java mapping?

  • Map xsd complex type to existing java class without adding JAXB annotations

    Hello
I've got a case where I should map an xsd complex type to an existing Java class without modifying that class, i.e. without adding JAXB annotations to that class.
    Is this possible somehow?
As far as I've understood, the <javaType> declaration (adapter, parse/print methods) can only be used for xsd simple types.
    Thanks, Tom

It should be possible to implement an XmlAdapter<...,...> which performs the required conversion between the original type and a JAXB-annotated type. Then, at the places where the original type is used, the @XmlJavaTypeAdapter annotation would be used.
The xjc compiler supports this for xsd simple types (xjc:javaType annotation), but not for complex types.
Any idea why this is restricted to simple types?
Would it be possible to implement a xjc plugin which does this for complex types?
    Thanks Tom.

These three xml are the same:
    <?xml version="1.0"?><a:xml xmlns:a="urn:123">root</a:xml>
    <?xml version="1.0"?><xml xmlns="urn:123">root</xml>
    <?xml version="1.0"?><ns0:xml xmlns:ns0="urn:123">root</ns0:xml>
But your code will work only with last one, because it doesn't bound namespace to prefix ns0.

  • Modify Java Mapping on Mexico Digital Invoice

I have installed all oss notes related to the Mexico Digital Invoice on our ERP system and XI system.  Since we made additional modifications to the Invoice02 extension, I need to modify the Java mapping on XI.  The note (1296042) states if you make changes to the idoc, you will need to make changes to the java mapping as well, and recompile it to install the class on XI.
I have a java editor, however, I cannot find the java project anywhere.  Does anyone know where I would access this from?  The pdf on the note related to modifying the java mapping only says to open the project; It doesn't have the project in the note, from what I can see.  And I don't see it within XI.
Anyone know?  Or has anyone done this?

    Hi Henrique,
We are also implementing the mexico invoice and I am trying to change the java mapping and I can't figure out where the '.JAVA' file exist? We could not find it in the imported archives (on the repository)... I have checked most of the attached files on the notes (can you let me know the name of the file with source code?)

  • Linkage error while doing java mapping

    Hi,
I Have written a java mapping but when i use it in xi.It is showing an error as linkage error
LinkageError at JavaMapping.load(): Could not load class: com/satyam/nestle/JavaMap
Can anyone explain what does this mean and how to overcome it.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bhargav

Did you try testing the java mapping seperately....that it does not have any errors??? Also check the cahce update. Sometimes it happens that XI is not able to load the class file from the cache. Perform a CPA cache refresh (delta). This should solve the problem

  • Special Characters in a Java Mapping

    Hello everybody,
in our XI we have an Interface Mapping that uses a Java Mapping, this Mapping is doing a XSD-Validation of a XML-File.
In one XML-File there is more than one special Character (ó, O², ü..). The XI-Parser hat no problems with these characters except one, eventhough this character (ó) exists more than once in the document, the parser doesn't recognize it in only one position (While Parsing the "ó" turns to a "").
I tested the Mapping in Eclipse and it works correctly. The question is, why the special character could not be interpreted in only one position in the document.
I guess it is a bug in the XI-Parser.
I will be thankful for your help.
    Best regards
    Adnane

This ó has the same Hex-code as all the others and it is in the same environment.
I definned in the source XML in the repository test the code Page in the XML-header as follows :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> and that works. But when I test the Process at the runtime the problem above occurs.
I think that the interface Mapping is getting a source XML without a header, which defines the encoding as UTF-8, because when i test the Mapping in the repository with the XML-file without the Header information, the problem with the ó occurs.
My question is, where can i define the Encoding of the source-XML of this Interface Mapping?

  • Can I leverage JDom or Dom4J for java mapping in PI 7.0?

    Hi,
since we know that PI 7.0 is based on jdk1.4 which officially allows DOM and SAX,but could I using the open source API like JDom or Dom4J via importing the related jar file to PI IR for java mapping?Anyone tried that?

    Hi ,
I tried importing jar files into PI7.0 I was able to do so.
First add the external jar file for JDOM into build path in eclipse (or NWDS). I did this in eclipse.
Again I tried to import the same jar file into project within eclipse. Then the jar file will be broken into class files.
Now compile the JDOM code you wrote and do project ->build all. This will generate the class file for your source code in addition to the class files formed earlier. Now exit from eclipe. Move to source folder of the eclipse. there you will find the .java file and the set of class files which were imported into the project earlier. Copy these files to separete folder say "myclass". Now again move to "bin" folder of your eclipse settings and obtain the .class file for the source code you have written. Copy this class file to the  "myclass" folder. Now using WINZIP zip all files into one ZIP file within "myclass" folder. Finally import this ZIP into PI 7.0 server. Run the mapping code using test tab. If you are getting any linkage error then you need to obtain correct external jar for JDOM parser else the mapping should run fine.

  • Accessing SAP:HopList element in message header from JAVA-mapping

    Dear Experts,
Is it possible to access the SAP:HopList element from message header in JAVA-mapping?
I need this to get the list off all receivers of current message (I have a ReceiverDetermination with two receivers, without any conditions, so both receivers are receiving each message and in InterfaceDetermination to one of the receivers I have a JAVA-mapping, in which I need to know the name of another receiver. And the SAP:HopList is containing this information).
Or maybe where is some other solution?
    Best Regards,
    Artsiom Anichenka

That's tricky, since the proper way of doing it would be through BPM.
Anyway, if you expose your XI interface as a WebService (Soap sender cc) you could access it through Mapping Lookup (lookup works for RFC, DB and Soap lookups). Check https://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/current/pi/index.html
But be aware that Mapping Lookup API is not intended for inserts/updates (since it doesn't contain any transacational handling), just mere lookups (selects in tables), so I'm not sure it is the best approach for your case.
    Regards,
    Henrique.

  • How to avoid Linkage Error in JAVA Mapping

    Dear Experts,
I am trying to test the JAVA mapping compiled in NWDS but receiving the error
"LinkageError at JavaMapping.load(): Could not load class".
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: JSONXMLProject/bin/com/sap/json/ConvJson2Xml (wrong name: com/sap/json/ConvJson2Xml)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClassCond(ClassLoader.java:735)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:716) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:537)
    at com.sap.aii.ib.server.mapping.execution.MappingLoader.findClass(MappingLoader.java:195)
    Following are the details:
    SAP PO 7.4
    SP Stack Number 05
    JDK Version jdk16
    NWDS
SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.3 SP10 PAT0000
1.Created the Project , Package and then class (Included the logic)
    2. Included 1 JSON Jar file into my project and the Added to build path.
3.Exported the project as Archive File and saved in desktop
4.Imported into SAP PO system as Imported Archive
5.Could not observe the JSON jar file which i used as referenced JAR in NWDS
6.Tested in OM after referencing the JAVA class and found the above error.
I have JDK 5, 6 and 7 present in my local desktop and I am trying to export the compiled code using both JAVA SE 1.6 and 1.5 in NWDS seperatly after going several discussions.
Can any one hep me with the screenshots and tell me how to include all the reference jar files in exported project..
    Regards..

    Dear Anand,
I did exactly as you shared. As the JSON jar has number of classes, then in OM all the Classes had to be assigned. Then the linkage error went.
But in execution , it shows a new error that all the classes of the JSON jar has to be implemented with interface StremTransformation or AbstractTransformation.
I assume in the Operation Mapping I will use only 1 class as JAVA Class. Anyway I am attaching the document with navigation.
Do we have any other alternative??
Please rename the extension of the document by remove .txt
    Regards

  • JAVA Mapping

    Hi,
I have worked on Graphical mapping and XSLT Mapping. I want to do some scenarios using Java mapping. Can anyone give the detailed steps to work on Java Mapping. What are the softwares needed and their configurations. Also I want to know whether NWDS is compulsory to work on Java Mapping. Thanks.
    Regards
    Suresh

    Hi,
Its not necessary that NWDS is compulsory to work with Java mapping.
for java mappings you need jar file.
Just have a look at these links for mapping:
