Update from Oracle Indentity Manager 9.0.1.0 to 9.0.2.0, Missing XML

Hi!
im trying to upgrade my OIM from 9.0.1.0 to 9.0.2.0 using the patches p8484010 and then p13116984, but when im trying to upgrade OIM in my testing VM some errors appear when i try to execute the step *3.2.3 Loading Metadata into the Database* , during the first patch (p8484010) installation, the file in question is the LoadXML.bat.
it says that several XML's could not be loaded. Are they critical? I have continued the installation and no further errors appear...
My system specs are:
Microsoft windows server 2003
Oracle Database
and im trying to pass from OIM 9.0.1.0 to 9.0.2.0
Where goes the console output(errors are in bold):

Thanks for your help, Cheers

From which version are you upgrading ?
Your thread subject says "Update from Oracle Identity Manager *9.0.1.0* to 9.0.2.0, Missing XML " but it seems that you are upgrading to 9102.
Those errors are related to reports. Have you deleted any reports in your existing OIM like UserCreated Reports etc ? You can check in REP table.
Note:
Becareful while pasting logs:

  • Creation of PO's from Oracle Order Management

    Required Business Scenario
Customer orders are received via the internet and imported into Oracle Order Management via an open interface table. The customer orders are processed by Oracle OM and converted to Purchase Orders which are then sent to suppliers (as no stock is held at our site). Goods are then shipped directly to the customer by the supplier. We take a commission for the service offered.
    Problem
As we take a commission for the service described above, the value of the Purchase Order will be different to the value of the original order received via Order Management, however Oracle Purchasing does not allow you to place a Purchase Order on a percentage basis terms. (we will take a small commission as a percentage of the value of the original order meaning the value of the Purchase Order will be slightly less than the value of the original order). The following scenario attempts to explain the situation:
Order received via Oracle Order Management
    5 units @ $20 = $100
Purchase Order created from above order (required scenario)
    5 units @ $19.70 = $ 98.5
    Our commission @ 1.5% = $ 1.5
Has anyone encountered this scenario before? If so I would appreciate assistance in how to resolve this issue. How can we create a Purchase Order from the order received via Order Management which will have a different value and allows us to take a percentage as commission?
    Thanks

  • Insert / Update from Oracle Forms -- URGENT Please thanks

    Hello All,
I need to create form which can be use for two purposes. i.e insert and update
I have one table called emp which has 50 columns.
Only four columns has not null constraint.
I need to insert values in only these columns.
From SQLPLUS it can be cone as below:
    insert ito emp values ('333','2222','007','AA','01-JAN-2007','','','','','','','','','',........);
After that I need to update one of the coulmn with the value as
    update emp
    set zipcode = 'Y'
    where empt# = 007;
How could I achive this from Oracle form.
    Any help will be appricated.
    D

Why handle updates in the On-Update trigger? Oracle Forms already handles this for you. You update a data value in a field and click on the SAVE button (assuming you have a Save button) and the Oracle Forms handles the Update. The On-Update trigger is provided so you can perform processing in addition to the default UPDATE.

  • How to set notification for latest patch updates from Oracle?

Is there a link to receive notification from Oracle about the latest patch updates on OBIEE or BI Apps?

    Hi Tugdual,
Thanks for your great information. With your information i was resolve my one problem.
But however i have one more problem my application uses jni dll file called webcomponentjni.dll.
In 10.1.2 there was a option in OC4J Containers property
OC4J Container -> Administraton -> Server Property Page -> Environment Variables when i add path to the location of my webcomponentjni.dll it used to work fine.
But in 10.1.3 i don't have that option so i have added in opmn.xml file as follows
-Djava.library.path=<location> but it is not working.
When i try to browse the application it is giving the following error
Message:WCA startup failed with the following message: no webcomponentjni in java.library.path
Have you encountered such problems so far.

    FAQs:
#1 If I had applied the previous recommended patches, do I need to rollback before applying this?
Yes, if you had applied any of the patches (#9405592, #9132461, #8992470 and #8653501) you would need to rollback the patch and apply this.
For rollback instructions, refer to the patch README from the support note 427577.1
#2 I recently applied the patch 9132461, do I still need the new patch?
The new patch contains additional bug fixes. (For more info see,9843796 or 9822322) -- Required for applying latest DB PSU.
The 11.1 patch provides the additional fixes from the 10.2.0.5 line that were not part of the base EM 11.1 release.
Oracle strongly recommends you to apply the latest patch to make sure your do not encounter these issues and you are at the current patch levels for faster issue resolution through support
#3 Are there any special instructions to apply these patches?
Yes, you need to apply the pre-requisite patch -9705138 before applying the new patch.
#4 Any more issues seen at customers or learnings ?
    a) "I applied the patches but the version of the deployment procedure remain the same"?
The patch instructions are not followed up completely. Make sure you run post apply steps - PAR Deploy and SQL apply as per the readme.
    b) Oracle DB JULY PSU is an Overlay patch on top of April PSU, can I apply using these deployment procedures?
You need these recommended bundles on the OMS as a pre-requisite. You can apply both PSUs (APR and JULY) together through Deployment procedures. It would take care of the orchestration of applying April followed by the Overlay July PSU.

    Nice - thanks!

  • Update from Oracle 11.1.0.6.0  to 11.2.0.3

    Hi,
I have Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.6.0 - 64bit Production installed on red hat server. I want to update it to oracle 11.2.0.3.
Please suggest steps to be followed.
    Thanks
    Nitin

As suggested, read the upgrade guide first. Go through it all and make notes about what applies to your environment and what you need to do.
Decide if you are going to use the DBUA or manually upgrade it.
There are some extensive notes here, part way down the page, on a [url http://www.ora00600.com/articles/10g-to-11g-database-upgrade.html]10g to 11g upgrade, with step-by-step instructions. Although not exactly the same, there will be a lot of crossover. You will probably be able to remove parts such as the ACL configuration as you have probably done it already for 11g.
Also, check out this article about a new [url http://www.ora00600.com/scripts/11g/10g-to-11g-upgrade.html]11g resource manager plan which is enabled be default and my cause you issues. It might be fine but just one to look out for.

  • Exporting test data from Oracle Test Manager

    Hi,
I have created some test datas (req.s,tests etc) in my OTM.Suppose if iam reinstalling OATS,how can i get this test data in the new OTM.Can i export this test data to some .csv(windows) format,so that i can use by importing in to OTM.
Can anyone help me in this topic?
    Alex,can you please?
    Thanks,
    Sandeep.

    Sandeep
All the data is stored on a database all you need to do during the upgrade is point to the old database instead of creating a new one.
if you are upgrading from a Microsoft based database to an Oracle database there is a data migration utility.
You don't need to do anything manually.
Once you have finished the upgrade you will need to login in the admin app http://localhsot:8088/admin with a user that has administrator rights, as this will take care of any DB upgraded that needs to be applied.
    Regards
    Alex

I have done a recording in Oracle Applications and I have sucessfully imported into OTM.
Whenever I run that script from OTM, it is showing some error called JIT Debugger error.
After that it is going to next screen, but after that , it is skipping the rest of the steps.
It is generating Reports as Skipped.
    Please help me out.

  • Creating SQL SERVER notification from Oracle Enterprise Manager to Outlook

    Hi,
I have a requirement to configure OEM to send an email via outlook when the SQL Server fails over to the standby server. Currently we receive emails if the CPU is high or if the agent is down etc. However, I was wondering if we could send an email when the primary sql server switches over to the mirrored server for whatever reason. This has happend in the past and we were unaware that the primary and mirrored server roles were switched. Is this possible?
    Thanks,
    J

As far as i know, currently we do not support this out of the box. I will file an ER for it. That said, if you are using EM 12c, then you can define a metric extension to create your own metric for failover/switch notifications.

  • [solved] SNMPTrap from Oracle Enterprise Manager GridControl

    Hello,
I just got a SNMPTrap from our GridControl. We are recieving Traps from GC via Nagios.
It gave me the OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.111.15.2.0.1
Is there somebody who could tell me, what this trap means?
    Greetings Jan

    I just solved it myself!
    Perhaps someone is interessted:
I had to implement the ORACLE_ENTERPRISE_MANAGER_4_MIB into nagios for resolving the content of the recieved trap.
Now with this MIB the trap gets resolved with clear text.
    greetings
