Update more than one criteria based group

Hi,
Due to some change in the primary fields. We have got a burden to change the criteria for multiple groups. Is there any way to change criteria of more than one group using "Filter" attribute or with some other approach at a time.
Regards,
Manuj Khurana

Depending on what the details of the changes are, you could write a powershell script which bulk updates the criteria in the groups (Using a CSV file for example, groupname as one column and the xpath filter for the criteria as the second column)

  • How can i use Itunes to update more than one IPad with more than one owner

    How can i use Itunes to update more than one IPad with more than one owner?  I own an IPad and my wife owns an IPad.  I want to use my system to update both IPads.  We have different Apple Accounts and different applications.  Is this possible?

    Of course, that is too easy.  I am such a bonehead.

  • Can I update more than one iPad and iPhone from the same MacBook pro?

    Can I update more than one iPad and iPhone to ios 5 from the same MacBook pro? Our family has one MacBook pro and several iphones and ipads.  No one wants to lose their iTunes music or contact list or calendars.

    Yes, but you will want to think it through before you do it.
    The computer will become the "master" device, holding the definitive collection of music, photos, contacts, etc., and each iPad or iPhone will get a copy of what's on the computer. So if  everyone has different collections of music or photos that you all want to keep separate from each other, you'll want to set up different accounts on the MacBook Pro. To do that, go into "System Preferences" and click "Users", then click the "+" to create a new account for each person who needs their own set of files.
    That way you can each log in to your own MacBook account before you sync your iPhone or iPad, and everyone has their own copy of iTunes and their own iPhoto. If you happen to plug in an iPhone while logged into someone else's account, you just click "don't sync" (the 1st time only, it will remember after that). Sharing the same files becomes tricky, so this is only the best method if you want to keep things 100% separate.
    On the other hand, if you all have your music and photos mishmashed together on the MacBook anyway or just don't care about keeping things separate, just go ahead and sync your iPhones and iPads without setting up new accounts. But in this case, you should create playlists and photo albums in iTunes and iPhoto. Then plug in an iPhone, click on it's icon in iTunes, and change the settings for Music, Photos, etc to only sync the playlists that you want on that device. Repeat for each one. They'll all remember their own settings, and continue to sync with their designated playlists or albums.
    What you cannot do is use more than one computer with a single iPhone. That will wipe out the music and photos that were on it already, replacing them with the ones on the second computer.

    Hi Bhushan,
    one where clause is missing in the main update.
    update fm_profiledet
    set (....)
    =(select ....)
    where id in (select your profiledetails_pkey from the xml). <--this where clause were missing.
    if xml extracting is too slow(xml very large) then you can create a procedure where exract your data from the xml and then update rows in for loop.
    something like this
    create procedure up_xmls(p_xml xmltype) is
    cursor cur_xml(p_xml xmltype) is
    select ......<--here you extract your xml
    begin
    for r_row in cur_xml(p_xml) loop
    update fm_profiledet set target_source_table=r_row.target_source_table
    where profiledetails_pkey=r_row.profiledetails_pkey;
    end loop;
    end;this should work:
    SQL> drop table fm_profiledet;

    SQL> create table fm_profiledet(
      2   profiledetails_pkey number

  • Running totals evaluate more than one criteria

    probably a stupid question but:
    Is there anyway to have more than one criteria in the evaluate for running totals? i need an "on change of field" option and a formula option is there a formula for "on change of field", so i can have on change of field and if not equal to.
    i am using CR2011
    Edited by: angel.hill on Jul 28, 2011 12:14 AM

    Hi Angel
    You can write a manual running total and you can define condition while evalutation the formula :
    @init
    Whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar sum:=0;   //To initialize your sum
    @evel
    Whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar sum;
    If <>PREVIOUS() and any other condition then
    sum:=sum+yourdatabasefield;
    @disp
    Whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar sum;
    Thanks,
    Sastry

  • Problem with Assigning more than one value to GROUP dynamically

    Hi,
    I have a problem with assigning more than one value to GROUP varible dynamically.
    I am able to assign only one value dynamically through Initialization block
    I have even tried with the ROW-WISE initialization blocks..
    using this query..
    SELECT 'GROUP', G.GROUP_NAME
    FROM GROUP_MAP G
    WHERE G.USER_NAME = ':USER'
    if GROUP_1, GROUP_2 are two groups to be associated,
    through this, i'm getting " GROUP_1;GROUP_2 " into GROUP variable ( seen from Narative view )
    And the properties and securities of this Groups are not inherited.
    Please let me know if there is any other way to Populate the GROUP variable dynamically with more than one value.
    Thank you.,

    Hi,
    i finally got in this way..
    i had created a function which takes USER_NAME as input and returns a string that contains the GROUP names with semicolon delimeted..
    Though it is same as that of ROW-WISE initialization,
    the properties of those groups are also being inherited..
    Now, i can assign more than one groups and its properties to a user dynamically.

  • Error whiile updating more than one user

    If the resultset contains one value, my code works fine. I get an error when there are more than one users. any thoughts?
    try
    tcResultSet moResultSet= moUserUtility.findAllUsers(mhSearchCriteria);
    for (int i = 0; i < moResultSet.getRowCount(); i++)
    moResultSet.goToRow(i);
    Date dteCourseEndDate=moResultSet.getDate("USR_UDF_MYFIELD");
    int intUserKey = moResultSet.getIntValue("Users.Key");
    Calendar calCurrentDate = Calendar.getInstance();
    Date sampleCurrentDate= calCurrentDate.getTime();
    if(dteCourseEndDate.before(sampleCurrentDate))
    Hashtable<String,String> moUpdateUser = new Hashtable<String, String>();
    moUpdateUser.put("USR_UDF_MYotherFIELD", "");
    moUserUtility.updateUser(moResultSet, moUpdateUser);
    thanks
    Veena

    You will need to search based on the Users.Key or another unique value to get only a single set when you perform the update. So your first search is to get all the users that match your criteria, then you need to perform a second search for the individual user when you do the update.

  • How Can I Update More Than One Ipod on the Same Computer?

    I've had my 30G Ipod since April 2006. For Christmas 2006, I bought my sister a 2G Ipod. I cannot figure out how to put songs on her Ipod as we both share the same computer and Itunes Library. I've already asked Ipod Corporate for help via their FAQ section regarding more than one Ipod operating with the same computer, but their advice (which told me to create a playlist small enough for her Ipod and checked as a shared playlist) did not work for me. I'd really appreciate any help with my problem. Owning an Ipod but being unable to listen to it, as I'm sure many people would agree, is quite annoying.

    There are basically two ways of using multiple iPods on a computer and these involve:
    a) Sharing a single iTunes library and user account.
    b) Creating multiple user accounts and having separate libraries.
    Sharing a Library
    If you want to share the one library, you can set either or all of the iPods so that they only get updated with only certain playlists (you can update from more than one if you wish):
    Loading songs onto iPod automatically - Windows
    Choosing the update option "Sync Music - Selected playlists" allows you to create a playlist specifically for the iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used some other time if you choose. You can read more about playlists at these links:
    iTunes: Creating playlists of your favorite songs
    How to create a Smart Playlist with iTunes
    However since you seem to have a problem with that method you can choose to update any or all of the iPods manually and just drag whatever content you want to them: Managing content manually on iPod
    Separate User Accounts
    Another option is to create a separate User account for each person on your PC or Mac. Different accounts by definition would give you completely separate libraries. Each account has it's own iTunes folder, Library and iTunes Music folder and you load it with CDs etc just as you did with your original one. The iPod can be set to update however the owner chooses, sync all, manual or sync specific playlists
    If you are unfamiliar with setting up Windows user accounts you can read more here: Using Windows XP User Accounts

  • How to update more than one records at one time

    hello guys..
    how to update a few records (more than one) with different
    IDs at the same time? i tried to make a query like this (see
    below), but only one record (more than one data in the same
    field)has been updated.
    <cfquery name="rec" datasource="DatKoku">
    select *
    from tbl_pilih
    where id_pel = '#form.idpel#'
    </cfquery>
    <cfquery name="updtrecord" datasource="DatKoku">
    update tbl_pilih
    set
    kptsn = '#form.suk_pil#',
    trkh_kptsn =
    '#Dateformat(TodayDate,"dd/mm/yy")#|#TimeFormat(Now(),"hh:mm:ss
    tt")#'
    where id_pel = '#rec.id_pel#'
    </cfquery>
    <cfquery name="outputrecord" datasource="DatKoku">
    select *
    from tbl_pilih
    where id_pel = '#form.idpel#'
    </cfquery>

    Take the query,
    <cfquery name="rec" datasource="DatKoku">
    select *
    from tbl_pilih
    where id_pel = '#form.idpel#'
    </cfquery>
    If every row in the table has a distinct id_pel, then what
    you ask is actually an impossible question. It will have no answer.
    Distinct IDs imply that the resultset will contain
    at most one distinct value of id_pel. That means, there can
    be at most one row that satisfies the condition,
    where id_pel = '#rec.id_pel#' in the update query. That in
    turn means the update query can update at most one row at a time.
    If, however, the resultset of
    rec consists of multiple rows, it will mean that there are
    multiple rows in the table that have the same
    id_pel . Then, your update query,
    updtrecord, should update all the rows that share that value
    of id_pel.

  • Update more than one table

    Can more than one table be updated from a single form that was created using a wizard? If so, how? I tried firing a trigger to add a new record to another table, but get this message "No updatable report found. Multi row updated and delete operations can only be performed on tabular forms of type "Updateable Report"
    Thanks
    John

    Hi John B
    Please make sure you explain to forum when asking for help.
    What version of Apex your using.
    Database Version:
    Browser etc.
    Yes you can update multiple tables from one single form. I'm not 100% sure about the wizard part, because before anyone can answer that we need to know which version of Apex your using?

  • Carls Auto Updating Report  - Updating more than one Report on a page.

    Does any one know how or adapted Carl's Auto Updating Report to work with more than one report on a page.
    If I simply add another html_PPR_Report_Page with the second report_id I get an Error : "gNode is null or not an object". using IE.
    function mon_Refresh()
    setTimeout("mon_Refresh()",5000);
    html_PPR_Report_Page (null,'R1736701112358007',$x('r_R1736701112358007').getAttribute('htmldb:href'))
    works fine but when I add the second call I get the "gNode is null or not an object". error.
    function mon_Refresh()
    setTimeout("mon_Refresh()",5000);
    html_PPR_Report_Page (null,'R1736701112358007',$x('r_R1736701112358007').getAttribute('htmldb:href'))
    html_PPR_Report_Page (null,'R1738006943370690',$x('r_R1738006943370690').getAttribute('htmldb:href'))
    Any help most appreciated.
