Update PO in SNC

We have the requirement of mass update Purchase Orders in SNC. We noticed that some of the POs are created with blank Means of Transport in SNC for some reasons and it is breaking the subsequent processes. We have corrected the Master data -Transportation Lanes to fix the issue and now want to mass update the Purchase Orders and populate Means of Transport . Since these POs are partially delivered, we don't want to delete the POs in SNC and resend it from ECC. We also tried with re-output and sending PO to SNC but it did not update the Means of Transport.
If we can not mass update the Purchase Orders then is there a way/authorization to manually update each PO with Means of Transport on SNC Web screen?

  • Getting error when ASN update is send from R/3 to SNC

    Hello,
We are facing below error when we ASN update is send from R/3 to SNC. We are using SNC5.1. Due to this it is not updating it in SNC as ASN confirmed. We are implementing customer collaboration.
    Below is error:
    ASN item 4046020504 / 900002 ( 669301 R00550 / 00001 ): Notified quantity 20196.000000 is greater than due qty 19635.00000000000000 (tolerance: 0.000000) 187(/SCMB/DM_DLV)
Is this that when the actual delivery qty is more than requested qty R/3,  to have correct update we need to maintain over delivery/Under del tolerance in SNC.
If yes then where I can maintain in SNC.
    THX

    Hi Vaibhav,
SAP SNC uses the supplier tolerances from the following source:
If the purchase order that the customer has sent from his or her back-end system to SAP SNC contains delivery tolerances for an item, SAP SNC uses these delivery tolerances. If the purchase order item does not contain delivery tolerances, SAP SNC uses the delivery tolerances from the purchase order header
If the purchase order does not contain delivery tolerances, SAP SNC uses the delivery tolerances for the purchase order item from the following source:
If the purchase order item contains a contract, SAP SNC uses the tolerances from the contract.
If the contract does not exist in SAP SNC or if the purchase order item does not contain a contract, SAP SNC uses the delivery tolerances from the purchasing info record.
If the purchasing info record does not exist in the SAP SNC system, SAP SNC uses the delivery tolerances from the location product master of the customer location.

  • SNC setup for connection SAPGUI - ABAP (no SSO)

    Hello Experts,
I am trying to set up SNC for our ABAP systems (Web AS 7.0). The goal of this setup for now is to be able to secure the connection between SAP GUI (generally running on Win XP clients) and the ABAP systems (HP-UX).
When I was looking through all the documentation and threads I mostly found issues regarding the setup of SSO combined with SNC. But we don't want to setup SSO (at least no right now), we only want to secure the channel and have the user log in just like he always does (w/ Username & PW).
I have performed the following steps so far:
    - Created the SNC PSE (in <i>STRUST</i>, I used "<SID>snc" for DN, self-signed)
    - Installation of SAP Cryptolib
    - Updated profile with SNC parameters (along with environment variable <i>SECUDIR</i>)
The system started up correctly but when I tried to logon using SNC I first got the error message "<b>Unable to load sncgss32.dll</b>". For this case I renamed the sapcrypto.dll file on the client system (where the GUI is located) to sncgss32.dll and copied it into the SYSTEM32 folder. I have also set the environment variable “SNC_LIB” to “sncgss32.dll”. After this was done, a new error message started to pop, saying that <b>”No credentials are supplied”</b>.
    My questions are the following:
    - I have read something about not using the Cryptolib for the Win XP clients and use GSSKRB5.dll instead. Is this also required when I don't want to setup SSO? And if yes, where will I get that file?
    - Do I have to create the credentials for the SNC? (with the SAPGENPSE program)
    - Is the SNC PSE Password required for any of the steps?
    - Is there anything necessary to be setup in SU01 in the SNC-tab for my purpose? I have read a lot about the SNC-Name but I am not really sure if it only affects SSO-aspects…
    - Or are there any other steps I am missing?
    Thanks in advance,
    Best regards,
    Jan Kaps

Well, then I have bad news for you: that's not possible.
Reason: SNC is based on GSS-API and that defines the philosophy: you can choose between certain Quality-of-Protection (QoP) levels which are:
      1. authentication only
      2. authentication + data integrity
      3. authentication + data integrity + confidentiality
As you can see: there is no way to have "data integrity + confidentiality" without having "authentication". That's different from SSL where you basically have two QoP levels:
       1. server authentication + data integrity + confidentiality
       2. mutual authentication (server + client) + data integrity + confidentiality
You can also see: using SNC does <u>not</u> necessarily mean that the data is encrypted (confidentiality).

  • SNC kept receiving Non POD-related update from our R/3 system.

    Hi Nikhil and others,
It seems our old problem below still exist.
Background Process: Supplier will send ASN (advanceShpNotification) to us from SNC via IDOC (DESADV) to create an inbound delivery (IB) in our R/3. If the vendor is POD-related (i.e. maintained as POD in vendor master), then R/3 will only insert ouput type OP0D into the Output delivery table automatically upon IB creation. At this point, our R/3 has a build-in routine to stop sending IDOC (STPPOD) to SNC before GR. Only after GR is performed, the the IDOC (STPPOD) is triggered and send the POD notices to SNC.
Problem/Question: Everything works fine in QAS client, however, problem arised in production in which SNC is receiving POD updates from our R/3 of IB with vendors that ARE NOT POD-related.  Now, the OP0D output type get insert into IB even with vendor that is NOT POD-related (i.e. not maintain in vendor master). WHY? I suspect is the OPOD problem, but this never happen in QAS. Why? The configuration setup are matched on both client, Why?
The following is our setup for WE20:
    Partner: PI Production Client
    Partner Type: LS
    1 - PORDCR1
    2 - PROACT
3 - STPPOD (Transfer IDOC immediately ==> Checked, Output mode 2, Basic Type: Delvry03, message control is OP0D for Message type and Process mode, E1 is the application value.
    Partner: SNC production Client
    Partner Type: LS
    1 - DESADV
    2 - ORDRSP
    3 - WHSCON.
The following is our setup for MN24:
    Delivery Type ==> "EL", Funct ==>"VN", Partner ==> empty , Medium = A, Date/Time = 4, Language = EN.... thanks tuffy

    Hi Tuffy,
The OPOD gets inserted in Inbound Delivery depending on the setting maintained in MN24.
Please, check what is the setting maintained for EL. If no partner is mentioned, the output message would be inserted for all Vendors but the STPPOD would only be generated for vendors which are POD relevant and for which Partner Profile is maintained.

  • Vendor deletion/Block update from ECC to SNC

    Hi
When vendor is blocked or deletion flag is set, and after that when vendor is CIFe'd to SNC, is the status in SNC get updated.
We have an issue that after CIF status of vendor still PO are able to be confirmed on SNC side?
Is somebody having cllue on this, pl reply?
    Thanks
    Vipin

    Hi Vipin
Once you have set the blocking indicator in the vendor master record, purchase orders can no longer be placed with this vendor
It will not allow you to create new PO with this vendor in SAP ERP
is the status in SNC get updated?
Yes , in location master, general tab of supplier (/n/sapapo/loc3)
The section Vendor, Central Purch. Block filed is checked or if it is deleted, deletion flag will be set.
We have an issue that after CIF status of vendor still PO are able to be confirmed on SNC side?
Yes for the orders which were created b4 blocking vendor can be still processed on SNC side
If you dont want that vendor to confirm, please block the user.

  • PO rejection in SNC does not update the items in MM with ORDRSP

    Hello everybody
I have got a problem with the integration of ORDRSP Idocs in MM (ECC6 - SAP_APPL 604) in the case of a PO rejection in SNC (7-SP7).
When rejecting a PO from SNC, the ORDRSP idoc is not integrated in MM
and is marked with an error message refering to a quantity difference
between the Idoc and the PO : "Acknowledgment for PO item 7621019091
    00010 contains quantity variance"
Associated to the ORDRSP Idocs we are using the process code ORDR, and
I have checked that if we use the ORDR_SUS process, the integration
works well and the items are rejected in MM !
But I haven't found much informations about the differences between
    ORDR and ORDR_SUS.
Is there a way to make the PO rejection works with the ORDR process or
could you tell me about the side effects of using ORDR_SUS in place of
    ORDR ?
    Vincent

    Hello Bharath,
Yes we have the same problem on the Idoc status but didn't fix it.
Here is the SAP answer about the rejection process :
With regard to the SNC->ERP integration of the rejection, the process
code in ERP inbound processing has to be set to ORDR_SUS (-> transactionWE20). Otherwise the rejection will not set the deletion indicator in
ERP PO and as a result the approval process is not triggered when the
    supplier rejects a PO item.
Kindly refer to the word attachment showing the WE20 screenshot.
The purchase order can transfer the rejection information to the
customer back-end system. The ReplenishmentOrderConfirmation XML messagecontains a corresponding AcceptanceStatusCode. However, to integrate therejection of a purchase order item with the customer back-end system
using IDocs, you must implement SAP Note 962849, so that the deletion
indicator is set on the purchase order item in SAP ERP.
Kindly implement the following note as well:
1458562 - ROC_Out not sent if the supplier rejects a PO item
With the implementation of the this note, the R/3 backend system should
get updated once the supplier 'Rejects' the item.
    Kind regards,
    Vincent

  • STPPOD - DELVRY03 -GR Status Update in SNC

When we create an ASN in SNC  with single material, mutiple line items corresponding to different PO's with a specific delivery date  and when we post GR in ECC against this ASN and  to send POD status update to SNC when RSMIPROACT batch job is run - We are noticing GR status update is happeing for the material in one line item with one PO but the other line item for the same material with different PO is not getting status update.
when we checked the ECC - DELVRY03 -Idocs they are getting generated only for single line item of ASN  not for other line item.
Note : This scenario is with ASN with multiple line items here the Material is only one - Each line item has same material but different PO and whole of ASN would be with specific delivery date.
Can any one pls let me know if an ASN with multiple line items ( for single material) when GR is posted and when we send the GR status info (POD) to SNC thru Batch job - how it works.
I have checked PO history for the 2 PO's of same material - it is getting updated correctly.
    Would appreciate your immediate help.
    Regards,
    Mahesh

    Hi Mahesh
I have created an ASN for the same material with specific delivery date, with mulitiple line items belonging to different PO.
I have posted a STPPOD idoc from ECC against the inbound delivery using VL32N.(Goods Reciept against inbound delivery)
It is posting to all the PO's and all are updated properly
Also can you check whether you DELVRY03 idoc has E1EDL24(Delivery Item) as many as your ASN line items????
Like if you three line items in ASN, then there should be three E1EDL24 segments carrying the info..

Yes. You can use iTunes 11.
As noted, you need 10.7.5 to use iCloud though.

  • SAP GUI with SNC logon and Hummingbird Exceed - SAP GUI window size issue

We have discovered an issue when SAP GUI 7.10 is used to logon via SNC and Hummingbird Exceed is used on the same workstation to logon to a UNIX system either via x-windows or telnet.
When the user logs onto a UNIX system using Hummingbird Exceed, then uses SAP GUI to logon to a SAP system with SNC authentication, the SAP GUI authentication works, but the favourites list is not fully displayed and has to be resized before any of the entries are available.
Has anybody else seen this issue, and do they know if there is a fix available ? We wondered if there might be an issue with fonts or some other sort of conflict between Exceed and SAP GUI, but it is strange that the problem only occurs if SNC authentication is being used, and when userid+password is used to logon to SAP the problem does not occur.
    Cheers,
    Tim

    Hello Tim and Wolfgang,
I was curious too as I found it interesting... so I tested a few combinations, but could not reproduce what Tim has described, at least not before my CPU reached 100% and the applications stopped responding (~2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 48 kbps connection, latency ~ 2 x width of the Pacific Ocean, but Backend 7.00!).
However I did notice some indications which might be a help (based on 7.00!):
Back in 4.?? there was a problem in that large menus could not be searched(!). Sorry, I don't have access to SAP now, but from memory the note # was 444043 (or very similar) and introduced a form routine for large menus - from a printscreen I still have the message number which led me to the note - 'I476(S#)'.
The system certainly distinguishes between MENU_TYPEs and the above note corrections could be found in several locations relating to the SAP menu 'S', the role menu 'A' etc, but I could only see that for favourites 'F' this is implemented for the menu search (when searching, not when loading).
@ Tim: Ask you customer to create a favourites menu which only has 1 node or max 2 (certainly not more than 4!) and ~ 20 executable objects in it (not more than 30!)? Can they under any conditions achieve the described problem with such a menu?
If not possible to reproduce, then the closest I could guess is a maximum limit of 4 nodes and max 30 objects for a 'F'avourite menu, before it is a minimum candidate for "performance problems" and consideration to be converted to a role ('A'ctivity group) menu instead.
Sorry that I can only help by speculating, because I could not reproduce what you have described.
Hopefully this problem will not happen to me in the New Year, and hope you will solve it for the rest of the year
    Cheers,
    Julius

  • BO SSO (SNC) is not working in InfoView

    Hi Gurus,
We are facing a very strange scenario in our Production environment.
The BO SSO (SNC) is working fine in Dev and QA. The problem is in Production (clustered environment).
    The details are following:
The SIA is running in 3 different servers (for load balance): Server1 (our CORE server), Server2, and Server3
CMS is running only in Server1, it has been stopped in Server2 and Server3.
Also we have 4 WebI Processing Servers in each server (4 x 3 = 12). Like below:
    Server1.WebI Processing Server
    Server1.WebI Processing Server1
    Server2.WebI Processing Server
    Server2.WebI Processing Server1
    Server3.WebI Processing Server
    Server3.WebI Processing Server1
The TOMCAT is running in a separate server (Server4). It is pointing to Server1 since CMS is in Server1.
    SNC configuration steps are following:
    1. Generated BO certificate (BO.crt) in all three BO servers. Ie., BO.crt is available in all 3 servers.
    2. Imported the BO certificate in SAP. Then generated SAP certificate (SAP.crt).
    3. Imported the SAP certificate in all 3 BO servers.
    4. Provided SSO credential for domain user in all 3 servers. [Domain user is same in all 3 servers]
    5. In CMC  SAP filled the Entitlement system, SNC, Options.
    6. Imported the SAP users.
    7. Aliased the WindowsAD users to SAP Roles.
    Scenario 1:
    1. Logged in to Designer via SAP Authentication with user id USER1. Created a new test universe (Universe1) with option u2018Use single sign-on...u2019
Universe is working fine. Exported it to repository.
    2. Logged into InfoView via WindowsAD with user id USER1.
Created a test report (Report1) from the SSO universe. Report is working fine.
Saved the report into the public folder.
    3. Logged into InfoView via WindowsAD with user id USER2.
Refreshed the saved report. But itu2019s throwing the error message u201CUnable to connect to SAP BW server Incomplete logon datau201D
Created a new report from the SSO universe, but same above error message.
    Scenario 2:
    1. Logged in to Designer via SAP Authentication with user id USER2. Created a new test universe (Universe2) with option u2018Use single sign-on...u2019
Universe is working fine. Exported to repository.
    2. Logged into InfoView via WindowsAD with user id USER2.
Created a test report (Report2) from the SSO universe. Report is working fine.
Saved the report in the public folder.
    3. Logged into InfoView via WindowsAD with user id USER1.
Refreshed the saved report. But it is throwing error message u201CUnable to logon to BW logon data imcompleteu201D
Created a new report from the SSO Universe, but same above error message.
    Note:
    -     I donu2019t have Xcelsius in my machine. BOE and Integration kit both are in same version (XI 3.1 sp3).
    -     We used IP address as Application server in CMC SAP and Universe Connection Parameter.
    Sofa log detail is following:

    Hi,
Server side trust configuration is well documented as part of the installation guide for the SAP Integration Kit.
Server side trust does NOT require a SNC user on the entitlement system page.

  • Configure SSO for ITS to R/3 using SNC/Kerberos

Our R/3 systems had been configured for SSO using SNC and Kerberos for awhile now.  We now have a requirement to configure SSO between ITS and R/3.  Since our R/3 env. has been using kerberos library, we won't be able to use SAP Cryptographic library.  I had modified the registry, environment and services in itsadmin to point to the kerberos library and principal names for agate and r/3 servers as described in SNC User Guide; also, I updated table SNCSYSACL with the Agate SNC name.  That seems to work fine.  From the trace file, it recognized GSS-API library for Kerberos and the SNC name for Agate.  However, when I tried to logon to R/3 from ITS, I still am being prompted with the logon screen to enter my SAP account/password.
I found several whitepapers and documentations stating that ITS does support Kerberos for SSO but I couldn't find any procedure on how to implement it.  Following is the error I'm getting from the sapbasis.trc file but I can't find any document on this error:

Does anyone know what am I missing?  Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

    Hi Markus,
I also just installed/configured PAS for LDAP authentication using the "PAS for External Authentication Mechanisms" documentation.  I think the domain problem probably due to not having the external authentication mechanism install (in this case - PAS).  Does that sound right to you?
I tried both options for ~extid_type parameter = "LD" and "UN".  I added the DN information to table USREXTID when ~extid_type="LD" but both options gave me error of "LDAP authentication failed".  I increased the trace level for sapextaut.trc but I don't see enough detail information.  Following are the errors/data from the trace file.  Can you please let me know how I can tell what string is being passed for authentication?
I'm quite sure the LDAP host and port data is correct since we've been using the same information for the SAP LDAP connector and we've been using our LDAP connector between MS AD and R/3 for a long time without any problem.
To logon to R/3 through ITS, I entered the AD account (CN attribute in AD) when I got the errors.
Thank you very much for all your help.
    Diem Tran

  • Unable to view purchase orders in SNC for the supplier

    Hi folks,
iam facing the problem of unable to view purchase orders in the supplier portal for my supplier.
ECC 6.0, PI 7.0, SCM 5.0 are the systems being used.
    scenario is like :
for plant 1000, purchase order is created on vendor 1100 and idoc sent to PI successfully
also in PI in the integration builder i find messages saying successfully sent to SCM system
SLG1 transaction in SCM says message received successfully, (in the log i can see the plant, supplier, order no and order details)
when i try to login to supplier view with supplier login, iam unable to view the orders,
please let me know if iam missing any thing in this regard.
    cheers.

    Hi Kiran
    Could you check queues
    smq1 and smq2 ????
Does your xml posted successfully in SNC(SXI_MONITOR)... Can you open the payload document
    inbound message-payloads-maindocument
Check thoroughly whether any error information ????
Check whether commit of xml is proper, or else refresh PI cache
For your internet user and the xml rfc user(user who is pushing the data into SNC), check whether any update errors are available in so01(inbox)
It could be a temporary problem, deactivate activate your supplier service in SICF. Could be problem with binding issue
Just to make sure data is sitting in SNC
    Check this table
    /1OM/ORDR7MP3100
Give your po number in field order no
If you find, then it is problem with binding...If you dont find, then the xml update process has issue
Kindly let us know the results
    Best Regards
