"Update" tab on App Store blank

i've update iOS 6.1 last night .. but i have a problem with the "Update" tab on App Store on my 3rd gen iPad.. the all tabs are works as usually..
how do Apple fix it? fix it automatically or we must download the upcoming fixed of iOS 6.1? anyone knows?

That's strange....
Under Snow Leopard (which is the forum you posted in), updates are done through Software Update.  Not the App Store.

  • I Can't access "Updates" tab in App Store

There's 5 tabs in App Store, right?
    "Features" I can access
    "Top Chart" I can
    "Genius" I can
    "Search" I can search
    But
    "Updates" I can't access anything
However, too many times I accessed it, At first it always shows "Loading" for 3 secs and then leave me a blank sceen and nothing else.
    What should I do?

Try quitting the App Store app.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.

  • TS1702 Can't open update tab in app store

I can't open "update" tab in the app store... When i click it, it show a blank page

Apparently, there is a problem with Apple’s servers.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
    1. Go to App Store
    2. Select Purchased
    3. Select All
    4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
    5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.
You can also download the updates in iTunes on your computer and sync them to the iPad.

  • App shows in Updates tab in App Store, but app page reports installed

I've only noticed this since iOS 5, so I'm going to assume there
is a bug around here somewhere. First noticed it when using the
    Store button from news stand.
So the problem is. I load up app store, tap the Updates button
in the tab bar. Up comes app xyz, with an update. In the
tableview it reports version 5.2 (which is what is reported when
looking in the iTunes store). I tap on the item, it brings me to
the app page with a button titled "installed".
While on the app page I notice the version number here also
reports 5.2; however, if I tap the back button, I return to the
tableview with the app that needs updating but doesn't. Now
that I've returned here, the version number for this update is
    being presented as 5.3..
I tap on the item once again, and within the app page again
    it reports 5.2...
The last time I had an issue with the app store I simply
terminated the app by clearing it from the list down at the
bottom of apps that have been put into the background and
then running the app store app once again.
And from there I get identical results.
I'm assuming this is a bug, considering I have do not recall
encountering this before upgrading to iOS 5.

    Welcome to the discussions,
did you try to restore your phone and set it up "as new iphone" without using the backup? Your backup may contain corrupt files causing your problem.

  • Uninstalled apps in "update" tab on App Store

Hi there. When I open the (Mac) App Store app, it says I have to update two apps I don't even have on my computer (and never have had). If I click "Update", strange Apple IDs show in the pop-up window. Obviously if I rewrite mine, an error comes up. What can I do to delete these apps from the Update tab? They are not even in the "purchase" one.

Hello, is it a used mac? Because I had the same issue when I bought my iMac on eBay. What I had to do was ring up the previous owner and ask him to release the computer from his apple iD, in order for me to be able to sign in.
    Hope this helps.

The iTunes Store on my iPad is set up with all my music already. And at the very bottom it shows my apple Id username. The only place it shows the previous owners id is in the App Store...
You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh.

  • My iPad mini shows 10 updates in the App Store-on the updates icon, but when I click it-the screen is blank. Help!!

My iPad mini shows 10 updates in the App Store-on the updates icon, but when I click it-the screen is blank. Help!!

It's a long running glitch, as the hundreds of threads on this topic demonstrate.
You  can wait it out and wait for Apple to fix the servers or you can go  into your purchased tab and manually download each update (you'll find  the app icons with little update banners on them.
Alternatively,  if you sync with a computer, you can use the iTunes on your computer to  download the updates then sync them onto your device.

  • How do you remove an iMovie update from my app store update tab?

The iMovie 10.0 software update (released Oct 22, 2013) appears in my App Store 'updates' tab but it's not compatible with my 'ol 2008 iMac (it doesn't have the correct graphics card). How do I remove the update? I've turned off "auto-update", relauched the app store application, etc, but to no avail.

Apple has released iMovie 10.0.1 that seems to support older video cards. I got it installed on my mid-2007 iMac

    I have the same problem.
I think there's a problem with the update server. Try again later.

The problem has been reported to Apple.

  • Looks like updates via the App. store update option is not working again. Comments?

Looks like updates via the App. store update option is not working again. Comments?

There are a number of other threads from people reporting a problem with a blank Updates tab in the App Store app - it looks like there is a problem at Apple's end which they need to fix.
Some posts are suggesting that you if you go into the Purchased tab in the App Store app you might be able to update the apps from there, though you will need to scroll through the list to find those with updates and individually update them.

  • I downloaded and paid for an app on my ipad, how can I get it free on my iphone without using itunes as my laytop is broken. I cannot seem to find the purchase tab in app store? I am logged in using the same ID

I downloaded and paid for an app on my ipad, how can I get it free on my iphone without using itunes as my laytop is broken. I cannot seem to find the purchase tab in app store? I am logged in using the same ID

First, the app must be universal...designed for both iPhone/iPad:
    Tap App Store.
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
    Tap Updates.
Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
    Tap the download icon.
The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen.

  • Featured tab in app store says " Your request cannot be completed".

Featured tab in app store says " Your request cannot be completed".
Only happened after updating to iOS 5?

Apps can only be downloaded via iTunes on your computer (and then synced to the iPad) or directly on the iPad via the App Store app - have you tried downloading it via either of those ?

  • Ios7 apps missing from purchased tab in app store

    Hi all,
After a difficult - but successful - upgrade of my iPhone 4S to iOS 7 (I haven't restarted my PC after upgrading iTunes, put the device in DFU mode because it was not recognised by iTunes while remained in "connecting to iTunes" screen) I have another big problem: my previously purchased apps don't appear under Purchased tab in App Store app from iPhone. Nor the apps purchased on other devices (an iPad 3). I don't have any of the previous apps on my phone now. After I started downloading them manually, one by one, I noticed that they went in the folders I previously had.
Did any of you face the same/similar problem? How did you fix it?
    Thanks!

I'm returning with an update: the apps now appear in Purchased tab of the App Store. Most like it was a problem with App Store servers at the time.
I've learned that I should have transferred all my purchases to iTunes when backing up the phone. That option is really hidden in iTunes, and after re-installing Windows on my PC I totally forgot about it. BTW, iTunes team: why back-up in iTunes does not include the purchases?
Oh, and after another restart (since upgrading), Facetime audio started working - previously I was getting only "call failed".
    Good luck with your upgrade.

  • I don't see updates on update page of app store

My App Store icon shows a red number to signify there are updates. When I go to the updates page of the App Store, I get a blank page so I can't tell it to download the updates. Any help would be appreciated.

Many people are having this problem for the last couple of days.
