Updation/insertion of multiple records simultaneously using check box

Hi,
I am using Jdev11.1.1.2.0 version. I have the following scenario.
There is a table in the view.At run time, I need to select multiple records and update those records in the database. So i took check Box as a column in the table.*(I did not associate check box to any of the attributes (columns) in the table.)* After running the application, I selected multiple records using checkbox and submitting them. The check box is returning value as 'false' even for the selected records also instead of 'true'. Because of this we are facing the issue in updating only the selected records. Please suggest your valuable inputs.
I have written the following code in the backing bean to get the selected rows.

Please let me know if it is it possible to associate a checkbox to any of the attributes while dragging and dropping the table in the view and update the records?
I tried selecting the option 'Row Selection' while dragging and dropping the table and changed the property RowSelection->multiple. But it is not serving the purpose of updating multiple records.
Please suggest if there is any other solution to update multiple records.

Hi,
if you added checkboxes to a table, then at runtime the checkbox is stamped, which means that a call to this.getSbc1().isSelected() just returns the state of the last checkbox that is rendered. As you do a loop over all the records in the block, of course every record is updated.
Also, what you do is not the way is intended to be used. In general, you base a block on a table,then there is no need at all for writing INSERT's or UPDATE's. Forms also know's then, which records to be updated and which not.

Hello everybody,
How to plan inventory from multiple organizations simultaneously using SCP?
My customer found that in supply chain planning (MRP) system always plans in single manufacturing organization, say, ATC, firstly. If set in organization item master, the source type as 'Inventory' and the source organization as another trading organization name, say, ANX. if there is insufficient inventory in ATC, SCP-MRP would plan in ANX, disregard of the inventory exist in ANX for the item.
But for some items, there are both inventory in ATC and ANX and we want plan BOTH their inventory simultaneously instad of firstly ATC and then ANX.
Is there any standard function in Oracle that can do so? I found that the sourcing rule cannot help in this case.

Net the inventory simultaneously? Its not quite clear what your client wants.
Even in the old SCP, you can use sourcing rules to first net inventory in org1 and then net the inventory in org 2 via a transfer from rule. The key point is it is always incremental based on where you place teh demand and then you provide source to fill that demand.
One restriction that ASCP still has up to 11.5.10 is that you can only have sourcing rules going in one direction. This means that you can't have a rule that sources ORG1 from ORG2 for item A, then have the revers in ORG2 sourcing from ORG1. That won't work, ASCP will randomly ignore one of the rules.
The best choice may be to use GOP with a sourcing split % so that yo do consider the inventory in both orgs when demanding the order, but it would still be done by checking ORG1 then ORG2.

I like to use my user account deleting system of my project like above example.

Unable to check multiple use check box for BADI

Hi,
In ECC 6.0, when I am trying to activate the multiple use check box ( For multiple implementation of BADI ) , it is not allowed me the same.
Throwing the error as - interface IF_EX_TAX1_XTXIT_SET can not be used.
BADI name - BADI_TAX1_XTXIT_SET
Can anyone pls help me how to do this.

Use check box for report and form

Hi Expert,
I try to use check box to select multiple rows in a report and then click on a button to go to a form on another page to choose some values from the form and then do a mass update for records selected in reports.
I read the "How to Work with Check Boxes" in 2 Day Developer guide, it works fine to select mutiple rows in report and do update with process in that report page.
However, if I click on a button to go to another page which contains a form, seems the values stored in the package array are cleared and not passed to that page.
Do you know how I could make this work?

For Exam My requirement is I am getting BAPI from ECC System. So I have to go given input details in first view and output details in Second View. So in Second View I will taken Table that data will displayed in rows. each and every row first check box is available.
Here Select Check Box of particular row then click Edit button. That row data will be displayed in one popup window.

Hi Vijay
Your question is not clear enough to give an answer. Do you have some difficulties with the code for opening a popup-window? There are many-many examples in the forum how to open/close a popup.
Or you do not know how to bind the popup opening with clicking a check box? Just put the code in the onSelect event handler of the check box.

Validating forms using check boxs

hi i am trying to validate a form using check boxs where all of the elements have the same name. Using the code below it enables validation when only one check box is available, however with muliple check-boxs it goes into and eternal loop and never executes the code! Any help on this matter would be most appreciated.

Using check boxes appear as a "tick" and I want a "X"

Hi guys - new user to Adobe Forms (MAC Adobe Acrobat XI) - I have used check boxes in my first form however when I check them they appear as a "tick" and I want a "X" - I went to the properties section and tried all the options (circle, etc) but it always came back as a tick - any suggestions?

Updating multiple records simultaneously from LOV

Hi
I have a form based on a single database table. After fetching and displaying records from the database in my form, I want to update ALL the displayed records with the value selected from the LOV.
I have created a button in my form which calls this LOV, and the value selected from this LOV should be used to update ALL the records that are displayed in my form.
Thus far I have only managed to update the first record within my form, but the rest does not get updated with the value selected from the LOV.
Suggestions appreciated....

First of all, don't use a form-level key-listval trigger to do the looping through your block. Why not put the pl/sql looping right in the when-button-pressed trigger right after it calls the Show_LOV?
Remember to check if the user really selected something from the LOV -- Show_LOV returns False if user does not, True if user does.
In this situation, you might want to create a parameter in your form, and set up the LOV to return its value into the parameter instead of Block.Dummy_Item. Otherwise, the LOV is returning the value into a record, and as soon as you navigate to the next record, the old value is no longer available. So either put the LOV selected value into a parameter, or in the pl/sql, right after Show_LOV, set a pl/sql variable to the value of :Block.Dummy_Item.
Then in your loop, use :Parameter.Parm_Item or your pl/sql variable to set all the other values of :block.item_to_update.
