Upgrading from CF 7 to CF10 - Unable to run templates in sub directories
We are upgrading a server from CF7 to CF10 and have run into an issue with the server throwing a 500 error when executing a CF file in a sub directory. For example, we have a login page which uses Application.cfm. We successfully get through the login process but when we transfer the user to a .cfm file in the sub directory of the main directory, the 500 error occurs. If we transfer the user to an index.html page in the same sub directory, it executes just fine. So this appears to be some type of issue with executing a CFM page only, but the issue is occurring only in a sub directory. Server is Windows 2008 server running CF 10 with the latest Hotfix. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Jeff,
It seems to be an issue specific to CFM pages. ColdFusion and IIS both should have same bitness. If CF is installed in 64-bit mode, then change the App pool (Enable 32 bit applications” set to false) under Advanced Settings. Remove the connector and recreate it.
Once done, launch command prompt as administrator and try iisreset command. Now you can test your site/CF Admin.

The problem is by the oracle version. (al least in my case)
apex 4.0 needs 10.2.0.3 and i have 10.2.0.1
I'm going to deinstall, upgrade 10g and reinstall...

Firefox 4.0 is going to need a P4 processor and a lot more RAM, along with W2K-SP4 or WinXP-SP3or4. Firefox 3.0 and 3.5/3.6 would work with W2K or higher, but would be real limited with only 128MB of RAM - IMO, 512MB would be the minimum to go with.
Linux might be the best path to follow. See which Linux distro would best support an older processor like that. <br />

How do you fix 'unable to upgrade from version 0'?
I have been working on 6 ibooks over the past year, documenting a lot of stuff for user manuals for our school. The ibooks were all created in iBA version 1.0, but are not published - we only use them internally so we just use the previews.
I gave up trying to upgrade my 1.0 iBooks, it takes too long to 'optimize' the files when I try to open them in 2.0. I have read all the issues with iBA 2.0, but decided to download 2.0 on another computer and wabt to try to re-write all my old 1.0 manuals (I have all the files that went into them).
However, when I double-click to open the 2.0, nothing happens. So I go to 'File' and select 'New from Template Chooser'. I then get the window with all the new templates, including the portrait ones. When I select any template, say the 5th one for example, I get the prompt "The document 'Textbook 05.ibatemplate' could not be upgraded. Unable to upgrade from version 0". This happens for every template. I don't understand. I downloaded the 2.0 from the app store onto a 'clean' computer. Yes, it has Lion on it and all the spec requirements to run iBA. Can anyone help me with what to do next?Did you ask Apple for help yet?

Unable to run my pages from jdeveloper
Hi all,
From past 2 days am unable to run my OAF pages, actually what i did is i deleted the environment variable and again created a new one. I dont know why am unable to run the pages... The Error Which it is throwing is
"Unable to run the page DiagnosticsPG.xml. OAProject "C:\Jdeveloper10g\jdevhome\jdev\myprojects\OAProject.jpr" must reside in the "C:\Jdeveloper10g\jdevbin\jdev\myprojects" directory in order to run successfully." To fix the problem, quit jdeveloper and then either relocate all the associate project files, or correct the JDEV_USER_HOME enviorment variable on your computer "

I got some message(Migrate User Settings) when i run the jdeveloper for the first time after installation which says " The User Settings found in the user home directory were generated by a different installation of JDeveloper than what is currently running. To avoid complications , some settings will be restored to their defaults. Do u wish to continue?" When i say yes.. am facing the problem which i mentioned above i.e it is taking directory home as C:\Jdeveloper9i\jdevbin\jdev.... Yes am setting the JDEV_USER_HOME to c:\JDeveloper9i\jdevhome\jdev... and then trying to open that using a C:\JDeveloper9i\jdevbin\jdev\bin\jdevw icon

Problems upgrading from Logic 6.4 to Logic Studio
I recently had my hard drive die, so i am now in the process of reloading all my software. I started with Logic 6.4 years ago and have been purchasing the upgrades ever since. I first installed Logic 6.4 with the dongle inserted than i installed Logic studio. I than updated the software. However, now Logic will not open. I get the prompt;
"Upgrading from Logic 6.4 to Logic Studio running 10.6.7 2.66 i7 17 inch running problem. After install Logic will not open. Updated all the software. On a Macbook Pro"
Is there something i'm doing wrong.

Problem after upgrading from 4.2 to 4.2.2
I just recently did an upgrade from 4.2 to 4.2.2 running on an Appliance. After the upgrade all the services do not load up. Running a "show app status LMS" always comes up with a message saying daemon manager is not fully intialized. The DCRServer process is just hanging with the status "waiting to initialize".
I am able to GUI in but can't use view any of the managed devices due to DCRServer in a hung state. I have restared LMS application multiple times. I have stopped LMS application and then reloaded the box. The issue still keeps occuring, im going to raise a TAC case but was wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?Are you still facing the above issue ?

After MAR upgrade from 4.0 - 7.0 login to ars_db fails
Hi,
After MAR upgrade from 4.0 -> 7.0 login to ars_db fails with the message "inconsistent database structure". For me it is a bit weired to do the ars_db upgrade to 7.0 SP4 and then start the transport agent which is still in the 4.0 level but this is the way it is described in the upgrade guide in order to delete Blobs after MAR upgrade.
Is the guide here inconsistent? Don't we have to upgrade the tools and services first before deleting Blobs?
Did anyone experience similar issues?

After upgrading the MAR,To upgrade the MRS Tools and Services follow the steps below:
1. Stop and uninstall the 4.0 Transport Agent Service. Use the Transport Installer to
uninstall the above services.
2. If you are not able to uninstall the TA, uninstall the service manually using the following command sc delete [service name]
.Also check that there are no entry for that service at the registry location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services.
3. On your local copy of the Upgrade DVD open the folder Mobile_Client_Upgrade\UpgradePurposeOnly . If you upgrade from CRM 4.0 you have to run SETUP.exe. If you upgrade from a higher release you have to run UPGRADE.exe
4. Install the Transport Service again after MRS tools and services are upgraded to 7.0 SP 04.
In your case, TA was not uninstalled pripr to the MRS tools and servcies upgrade.Hence you still see 4.0 TA. Please follow the above steps to solve the issue.
Please refer to the section 5.2.7 section of the upgrade guide document for more information.

I recently upgraded from my iPhone 3 to iPhone 4s. My old iPhone had not completed a sync in some time because of a faulty cable. But the old phone still will not sync properly even with the new cable.
Now that I have my new iPhone, I would like to first sync the old phone so all the data will be available for the new phone. I would also like to have an extra copy of my audio ebooks on the old iPhone so my husband and I can both listen at the same time using earphones while driving long distances in the car and then discuss the book. We have been unable to do this with the old iPhone alone due to constant road noise.I'm not sure what made the difference, but I tried again and it worked this time. ???????????

Please help. Almost everyone has an iphoneYou should have turned iMessage off before disabling the phone. Do you still have the phone so you can turn iMessage off? If not, you will need to go to Apple support on their website and delete the product from your profile.

Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 and Premiere Elements 13 are standalone products.
So, you can have both on the same computer, but only open one for your work.
The classical recommendation is to finish a project in the version in which it was created since there
is no guarantee that a project from an earlier version will open in the later version. Probably will, but
no guarantees. And, when you do explore this, do it from a copy of the earlier version project. Once you
take the earlier version project into a later version one, you cannot go back to edit the later version edited
project in the earlier version program.
If you have both versions (9 and 13) on the same computer and you have not moved, deleted, renamed any of the version 9's files/folders,
right click the saved closed Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 project file, select Open With, and then Adobe Premiere Elements 13.
(Your 9.0/9.0.1 saved closed project file should be found in Libraries/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/9.0.)
