Upgrading to weblogic 12c issue with JSF

Migrating to the Weblogic 12c faced so many issue with the shared class library. After fixing all the issue stuck with JSF and on google everywhere it was mentioned error happening due to multiple JSF version colliding.
My whole application works like a charm in 10.3.6 but same app not working after updating the spring 4 and hibernate 4.
This is the error I am receiving below errors ...
<javax.enterprise.resource.webcontainer.jsf.application> <BEA-000000> <JSF1029: The specified InjectionProvider implementation 'com.bea.faces.WeblogicInjectionProvider' does not implement the InjectionProvider interface. >

hi.
I had faced this behavior on weblogic 12c(12.1.1).
Maybe This problem was solved by 12.1.2.
But, when text item submitted together with a upload file, multibyte characters was garbage characters.
See Multibyte character was garbage characters, when multipart requested (Multipartリクエストで文字化けが発生する) on WebLogic12(12.1.2.0)

  • Oracle Weblogic Server 12c, issue with deploying the war created from Wavemaker tool

    Hi
    Recently, I am facing an issue with Oracle Web logic Server 12c, on deploying the war file (created from Wavemaker tool) to running Web logic server, it shows deployment health status is OK and web application is Active. But when I visit the home page of the application, it is unable to load the javascript files in the context and I am getting below error. Please you can check these errors in the Inspect window of the browser :
    Here are the errors on hitting index page after deploying the war file to Web Logic.

    But when I exploded the war file and copy the whole application in the auto deploy folder and restart the server, it is working fine.
    Can you please what is the issue not setting context path properly on deploying the war on the fly?
    Has anyone found any appropriate solution or workaround? Can you please share?
    Thanks in advance for helping me out.

    Hi,
    I debug the application, I found my @ViewScoped ManagedBeans, they're recreated after you click a button or select a item in combobox
    Here is a piece of code:
        @PostConstruct
        public void resolveEntity() {
            Object sEntity = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getSessionMap().get("entity");
            entity = (BctTbOportunidade) sEntity;
             FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getSessionMap().remove("entity");
            if (entity == null) {
                entity = new BctTbOportunidade();
    I use @postConstruct to get a entity from another page in sessionMap(I set a item from a table and use this method to modify a entity in a other page).
    When I click a button or select a item in combobox in same page @PostConstruct method is called but values are lost. No Exceptions are thrown by server.
    I found a artice written by BalluC that some versions of jsf 2.1 has this behavior The BalusC Code: The benefits and pitfalls of @ViewScoped
    I already configured my web.xml to set false javax.faces.PARTIAL_STATE_SAVING
    But this behavior continues.
    The jsf version deployed in my weblogic 12c is 2.1.7.

  • Exchange SP2 to SP3 RU7 upgrade and any know issues with the Dialogic Gateways

    We are planning on upgrading out Exchange servers from SP2 to SP3 RU7. We are currently using an Avaya phone system and have Dialgoc gate2ways between these systems to allow us to get the voice mail into the end user's mailbox as a wav file. We are using
    the DMG2120's with code many years old. Has anyone had any issues or know of anyone that has had issues?

    Hi,
    I have checked the your question from our internal channel and did not find any related compatibility issues with the update. I also check the third-party forum but still cannot find any threads about any potential issues.
    I think we can feel free to do the upgrade. If you would like to double confirm the question, you can also ask a question in Dialogic forum for more help:

  • Want to upgrade to CS6, but issue with AVCHD scrubbing might stop me

    I've been using the Adobe Creative Suite for years and really love it. The last version I stuck to was CS5. Premiere Pro CS5 had no problems scrubbing my AVCHD footage (mts wrapper from GH2 cameras) and I wanted to upgrade to CS5.5 when this became available. Then a problem occured: although the project files (old and new) loaded a lot quicker than before, it was no longer possible to scrub through the footage. The lag was just incredible and I can see (and hear) my drives go mad as I try to scrub through the footage. I assume this is because certain things are no longer loaded at the opening of the project, but just when you look at the footage on a timeline.
    I hoped the issue would have been fixed in CS6, but after a colleague kindly installed the software for a few days on my machine (spare licence he had, since been uninstalled), it is clear that it is still impossible to use. WHY?
    I'm happy to upgrade some of my system to try and make this work, but I need to know what the problem. My current set-up is (no longer) cutting edge, but hardly bottom of the pile either. Any advice would be appreciated.
    Current Spec:
    6 core AMD processor 3.6Ghz
    8 GB of ram
    Nvidia GT440 card (cuda enabled)
    MTS files and project files are on a 2TB raid 0 (though windows 7, not dedicated card) (2 drives 1TB each 7200RPM sata 3)
    Thanks for any help.
    PS: I tried with and without cuda, moved the media cache to other drive, disabled sound whn scrubbing,... pretty much everything

    Niels,
    I've seen them and will add them to the results page later today.
    You end up around rank #630, somewhat as expected. Your disk score is quite acceptable and reflects your raid setup. However, your MPEG score is disappointing, but that may be attributed to only 8 GB memory and the relatively meager GT 440 card. However, in comparison with other Phenom II X6 systems, nothing really stands out.
    Your dilemma to improve the scrubbing behaviour is twofold: You are hindered by the slowness of the Phenom II X6, and whatever you will upgrade, but keeping the AMD CPU will only marginally improve performance. If you really want to improve performance you need a completely new Intel based system, but that is costly, requiring a new CPU, mobo and memory.
    Upgrading memory does not look attractive, since it will not really help performance and is not portable to a new Intel system.
    The only things that can help IMO and that can be ported to a new system in the future are extra disks and a better video card. I would start with additional disks, see if that solves the scrubbing issues. If that still is not enough, you can consider upgrading the video card to a GTX 670 or even a GTX 560 Ti if your PSU can handle it.

  • Windows 10 Upgrade Checked PC Shows Issues With Drivers

    I have a Toshiba Satellite C655D, running Windows 7 Home Premiumwith the Service Pack 1 (SP1), 64 bit operating system. When I open up the Windows 10 Upgrade Reservation window, I clicked on the button on the upper left hand corner which open up a side panel on the left hand side. I go down and click on "Check your PC." It then gives me the message "This PC can be upgraded but there may be some issues." Because of those issues the following devices might not work properly, Those devices are, "Terminal Service Keyboard Driver" and "Terminal Server Mouse Driver."
    I posted this same message over at the Microsoft forums and someone told me to check with Toshiba to see if there are any drivers or patches that need to be updated. I've checked here at Toshiba and thus far there are no updated drivers or patches I need to download. In fact here at the Toshiba forums they have set up a thread with links that lead to Microsoft for anyone who has questions about Windows 10. It appears no one from either side knows what any of this means or how to resolve it.
    Does this mean I won't be able to download this free upgrade to Windows 10? Or can I still download the free upgrade to Windows 10 but have to download separate drivers? If I have to download separate drivers where do I download the proper ones that are compatible for my computer and Windows 10?
    So my original questions still stands. All help will be appreciated!

    Someone will say "Post your full model number and part number from the sticker on the bottom" and I apparently got here first, so I might as well post that.    That way, people know the full specs of your machine. I didn't get that hardware check when I clicked the white window icon.   I just got a screen to input my email address.(eta:   I went back and found that, clicked it.   It found no hardware issues.   It said the Toshiba DVD player might not work.  Try running the Win8 upgrade assistant and see what it says, because it might provide more detail.) There is a Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant, and apparently they say use that to check your hardware for Win 10.  I ran it on my L505-ES5034 an early i3 Windows 7 machine.   It didn't find any issues.    I ran it on my U505-S2012 or whatever it is, Windows 7 machine with a touch screen, and it told me that the touch screen may possibly not be compatible with Windows 8.    There are different requirements for Win8 touch screen vs. Win7, though.  But I didn't get any warmings about terminal services, which I associate with remote access. Jerry Lippey and I are running the Win 10 evaluation builds on older Core2 Duo machines.   Mine is a 2009 or 2010 model.  I really haven't seen any hardware issues.  I've had numerous problems with Cortana and start menu and desktop stop working and refuse to restart, though.

  • Upgraded to CS6..issues with printing

    We upgraded one of our Macs to CS6 and since then when a InDesign project is saved and exported out as a PDF, we get the JPG image imbedded in the PDF as all pixilated.
    We can take the same PDF and print it to the same printer, but use CS5 and have no issues.
    Anyone else seeing this??

    Please post full details including screen shots in the InDesign forum.

  • Integrated JDeveloper Weblogic 12C issues

    Hi,
    I'm running Jdev 12.1.2.0.0 (JDEVADF_12.1.2.0.0_GENERIC_130608.2330.6668) on a mac OSX 10.9 and I'm having problems with the integrated Weblogic starting up. I've tried it on multiple versions of java 7 (update 21, 25 and 45) with no effect.
    I've verified the jars containing the missing classes are on the file system, manually put the jars which contain the classes into the lib folder so I know for sure it's being loaded. Still no effect, and I'm running out of ideas.
    Steps to replicate :
    Install Jdev
    Fire up Jdev
    Start Integrated Weblogic Server - initialises fine, starts up with the following errors :
    [Waiting for the domain to finish building...]
    [12:37:14 PM] Creating IntegratedWebLogicServer Domain...
    *** Using HTTP port 7101 ***
    *** Using SSL port 7102 ***

  • Strange issue with JSF

    Hi Techies,
    I have one strange issue, In one of my module i used <h:selectOneMenu> along with <a4j:support>. In this module when i select value from
    drop down, related fields get populated correctly. when i select different value again its related fields get populated correctly problem is
    when i press F5 or Reload, the old data is populated instead of current value. i checked in page view source expected values are correct only, but in
    front end old values get displayed. please suggest the reason and solution.
    thanks in advance.
    Thanks n Regards
    Nitin

    First of All thanks for Input, yes data is in session scope only. when i tried with <t:commandButton> or <h:commandButton> expected values are
    coming but its not giving ajaxian effect, i mean in the browser it is something like refresh only.

  • Issue with JSF action method and Popup

    All,
    I have command Button, which has an action method. And my onclick function opens new popup. Once I close the popup, it has to return some values to the parent page and then my action method has to be executed.
    Issue is if I close the popup, nothing is happening in parent page.
    In my JavaScript if I return true, popup is opening and my action method is executing. But my expected behavior is after closing popup then only my action has to be executed.
    Thanks,
    Dhana

    Hi all,
    I came back to this today (after almost 2 years)... the current version of facestrace doesn't require a taglib at all: http://code.google.com/p/primefaces/downloads/list
    Just drop it in WEB-INF/lib, add *.jsf to the url mappings for the faces servlet. Then whenever you add trace=true to your URL, you get a nice dump of information there.
    Best,
    John

    we have recently upgrade oracle 10.2.0.After upgrading we found that some query returns the order of rows.Just like we have query which returns data in ascending order and which displays on to the screen.But now it screwed up the order of dispalying the rows.How do i fix it?

    Here's news for you. It was never documented that GROUP BY would order your data, that was just a side effect, and a side effect that has now been corrected. If you want ordered data you should include an ORDER BY in your query, as you always should have done anyway if you'd written the queries properly. ;)

  • Issue with Weblogic 12c(12.1.2)

    My service is working as expected in weblogic 11g.Now we are upgrading to weblogic 12c.
    We are facing an issue of "NullPointerException" , due to the values, not getting  populated during server startup from ra.xml.
    In weblogic 11g the control is not going to that location, which is leading to an exception in Web logic 12c(NPE).
    If we validate the null values, control is invoking twice, one with null values and another time with actual values from ra.xml.
    Please help me on the same.
    Thanks & Regards
    Vijay

    Hi Sai,
    it did  not solve my issue. I am getting SocketException.The post you were talking about is BindException.
    Please help me if you can do something on this.
    Some where i have seen like this
    Using IPv6-Formatted Addresses
    Platform: All
    When using an IPv6-formatted address for WebLogic Server, the URL should include square brackets ('[' and ']') for the host address. Otherwise, WLST may fail to connect to the running server.
    Workaround
    Add square brackets to the host address. For example:
    t3://[fe80:0:0:0:203:baff:fe2f:59e5]:9991.
    But i dont know in which file these hosts contains.
