Upload App in AppStore

Hi,
i have to upload my app, i do all step and now i received an email with :
The status for the following app has changed to Waiting For Upload.
then i download Application Loader, and i try to upload my ipa, but i have this error:
application failed codesign verification. the signature was invalid
I bought the certificate, and i use this certificate in my app e in the apple step for upload..
what i have to do?
Thanks!

Hi guys,
I'm also planning to submit my app on monday, and hope they'll be no last minute nightmares when I come to upload.
I read about some early problems this year with iPad apps needing to be set to ios 3.2. I was wondering if things have
been made automatic, so I don't have to tinker with the xml file.
I'm using CS5.5 and Air 2.7, and intend to publish for both iPad and iPhone.
1) Do we have to enter anything manually in these boxes, or will that be set for me once I get the Distribution Profile?
2) Can my Fla and swf files be different to the Cert settings I give through Apple?
<id>Vampire-Bats-V5</id>
<versionNumber>1.0</versionNumber>
<filename>Vampire_Bats_V7</filename>
<description></description>
3) Default images: Does anyone have a surefire way of getting all the default images to be the right way up? (My app is Landscape)
For iPad, do I need the full 5 images? Default-Landscape.png is always good, but portrait can sometimes be upside down.
4) My flash file is 1024 x768, and I design my artwork at 1200px, which is centered and runs off the stage. This seems to look
fine with I test it for iPhone, so I hope this works in reality. Colin - I think you also do this, but working from iPhone size right?
Thanks,
Matt

  • Is there need of code obfuscation for uploading the app in appstore ?

    Hi
Is there any chance that .app file can be decompiled ? For security perpose, is there need of code obfuscation for uploading the app in appstore ? What are the ways to obfuscate the code ?

Apps are compiled and signed. For extra security against pirates, you should verify the signed receipt as well. All the instructions are on the developer site.

  • I cannot download or upgrade any apps from AppStore on my iphone 4 after upgrading to ios 5.1.1

I upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 5.1.1 using itunes.
After which I started using my phone as usual.
I was not able to upgrade or download apps from AppStore using wi-fi or 3G.
When I select any app for upgradation or downloading it starts, But It stops at 'waiting' stage , And never goes to 'loading' stage.
    Please help resolve this issue.
    Thanks!

Have you tried buying or upgrading on your mac or pc via itunes?  You may have bad wifi/3G connections.  And, for 3G, most carriers place a file size limit on tranmissions.  I think that affects app downloads, if they're big.

It may just be a glitch. Try going into the app store signing out, then sign back in and see if it clears up.

  • Bought apps via AppStore on phone, but iTunes wants to delete them; huh?

I bought some apps via AppStore on my iPhone, but iTunes wants to delete them when I plug it into my Mac --> HUH?
What's going on? How do I keep iTunes updated with items I buy via the phone itself?

Do you have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?
If you didn't have Sync Apps selected prior to downloading these apps with your iPhone, selecting this after the fact will delete all apps on your iPhone that are not in your iTunes library on your computer.
With Sync Apps selected which should be selected from the start, after downloading an app with your iPhone, the app will be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so. This allows for downloading apps with iTunes on your computer and installing the apps on your iPhone via the iTunes sync process. This also allows for removing an app from your iPhone without deleting the app by deselecting the app under the Apps tab followed by a sync. To reinstall the app again later, reselect the app under the Apps tab followed by a sync.
With your iPhone connected, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
Follow this by selecting Sync Apps under the Apps tab and make sure all 3rd party apps currently on your iPhone are selected below followed by selecting Apply.

On my iPhone5, when trying to load apps from appstore, after entering Apple-ID and password, download does not start, after a few seconds I am returned to the app download screen. Apple-ID and password have been verified via Apple website and are OK.
There are no iTunes downloads stuck either.
    Any idea?
    Thanks inadvance,

What happens when you try to do the in-app purchase, if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
If you are getting a message to contact iTunes Support then you can do so via this link and ask them why the message is appearing (we are fellow users, we won't know why) : https://www.apple.com/asia/support/itunes/contact.html

  • Every time I want to download an app From AppStore when I start downloading it after I write my password there is warning that says to me that it isn't possible right now to download power DVD mobile even now were this app is deleted from my ipad

Every time I want to download an app From AppStore when I start downloading it after I write my password there is warning that says to me that it isn't possible right now to download power DVD mobile even now were this app is deleted from my ipad

The power DVD app is active, and seems to download ok.  You have already deleted the app?
I suspect what is happeneing is that a download is in your queue, and is blocking the queue until it completes, thus the message every time you try to do a down load.  It may be failing because while it thinks you have the app, it is not finding it, and doesn't know what to do.  ( sounds like a poorly designed download).
I think the way around this might be for you to resync with your iTunes, and let it reload the app onto your pad.  Let it complete the download.  Then, if you do not want the app, delete it again from your pad, and if you never want it, from I tunes as well.
The next time they do an update, you may wind up in the same situation, so if it happens again, until they fix the download routine, you will get stuck again.
So try the suggestion, and see if this clears it out.
The other option would be to open your account in I tunes on your computer, let it complete the download there.
