I pre-ordered a book. I was notified it was ready for download. When I clicked on the link to download it failed to download. Instead, it took me to the store.

Your purchase should show up as something that you could download again. Check out the article below on how to do that across all devices and in iTunes. If that is not the case and you do not see it, then report the issue to the iTunes Store for further assistance.

Check Mail Preferences, Accounts tab. Select the account, then the Mailbox Behaviors tab. See if you have it set to Permanently erase deleted messages when: One week old. (or less)

I am having the same problem. I did download the two files and started the .exe file. The .exe file appears to run downloading files. When the bar is full the window dissapears without any options. Both files are in the same folder. any thoughts?

Lack of support from that company seems to be a non-uncommon problem. But it's not a problem you will be likely to get help with in the Communities, and definitely not here in the "Using Apple Support Communities" forum which is for questions about the Communities themselves. How can I activate the transfer rules for the ODS updating a data target.

We are on BW 3.5 and I'm loading data into the 0FIGL_O10 ODS and then uploading the data into the cube 0FIGL_C10. The data loads just fine to the ODS but when I try to 'update the data target' I get a date & time stamp' error on the info-package transfer rules.
I then Replicate the datasource 80FIGL_O01.
I must then 'activate' the transfer rules.
However I cannot get the transfer rules for 80FIGL_O10 in CHANGE MODE to activate them.
How can I activate the transfer rules for the ODS updating a data target.
The error text is as follows:
DataSource 80FIGL_O10 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text)
Message no. R3016
Diagnosis
DataSource 80FIGL_O10 does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 02/15/2007 10:42:33.
The time stamp in the BW system is 11/07/2006 13:11:54.
System response
The load process has been terminated.
Procedure
Copy the DataSource again and then activate the transfer rules that belong to it. You have to activate the transfer rules in every case, even if they are still active after the DataSource has been copied.

If it's the same computer, same CPU and same HD, no de-activation or re-activation should be necessary.
Install from scratch and apply all updates manually.
Please do a forum search. I and others have repeatedly answered the question about failed updates of CS5 a whole bunch of times recently.
Bottom line: the Adobe auto updater is utterly useless in CS5 and prior versions. You need to download the updates and apply them manually yourself.
I and others have even supplied the links for Mac and Win, which you haven't even bothered to specify.

When you no longer need the Adobe software on a computer or you wish to move it to another one, you should deactivate the software.
See this link: how to deactivate software. Installation rules will let you install the software on two computers of the same platform (both windows or both mac) but you are limited to running it on only one at a time. Unfortunately, your best bet is to obtain original proof of purchase and escalate your issue for assistance in detaching the Apple ID from that device. If your unable to get the proof of purchase, expensive paperweight . Did you get it through amazon?? Because I just got one through amazon....

Everything you need is in the Spelling and Grammar preference pane, within Word's Preferences.
Check the boxes, "Check spelling as you type", & "Always suggest corrections".
As well, there is a button for checking the document, called "Check Document", which you can use on an existing document that has not been checked yet.

Locked on an update can mean a couple of different things. So there are a number of things to try, but start with these.
If you have a "waiting" icon, try tapping on the icon and see if you can pause the update/download. Of it pauses, tap on it again and see if it will resume.
Try holding down on the icon until all of the icons on the screen wiggle. If the X to delete pops up on the waiting/stalled app - tap the X to delete the app. Tao,the home button and the apps will stop wiggling.
You can also try this and see if the downloads will resume. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
