Urgent :: 11g Invoking Composite from Java/From Webservice Proxy

Hi All,
i have a requirement where in need to when ever the exception occurs it invokes custom java and then it invoked a BPEL process to handle the errror.
in 10.1.3.4 i used to Java Api to invoke the BPEL process and it works fine.
1) . now we are migrating to 11g, i know this API wont work with 11g as the server is on weblogic and client librairies may be different for invoking in composite it in 11g. if any body has invoked a composite using java and the using 11g libraries to invoke the composite ? if so can you please post here ?
2). otherway i tried to create a Web Service proxy using Jdeveloper for the composite, when i test it using Jdeveloper it is working fine, but when i place it in the lib directory, im getting a bad response from server 503.
please see logs below for the second approch

if any body has already implemented the invocation of composite in one of above approaches, please let me know.
any pointers to resolve this will be of great help
Thanks

Here is sample to invoke a composite from JSP, this should be same from Java Class. Note that the composite should use adf binding and not ws binding.
Here is snippet of composite.xml service:
<service name="rmibpel_client_ep" ui:wsdlLocation="RMIBPEL.wsdl">
<interface.wsdl interface="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Application1/RmiVsSOAP/RMIBPEL#wsdl.interface(RMIBPEL)"/>
<binding.adf serviceName="rmibpel_client" registryName=""/> </service>
Note the binding should be binding.adf and not binding.ws
Sample jsp:

<%@page import="java.util.Map" %>
<%@page import="javax.naming.Context" %>
<%@page import="oracle.soa.management.facade.Locator" %>

  • Invoking BPEL from Webservice

    Hi Clemens,
    I actually checked the way the entry is required, and it was the same we used here.
    I am listing the entries here. Let me know if I am going wrong somewhere.
    In Server.xml,
    <application
    name="customer"
    path="../applications/customer.ear"
    parent="orabpel"
    auto-start="true"/>
    In http-web-site.xml,
    <web-app
    application="customer"
    name="customer"
    load-on-startup="true"
    root="/customer"/>
    <web-app
    application="customer "
    name="customer"
    root="/customer"/>
    The customer.ear application has just only one cutomer.war file. It fails this way as well as other way where we deploy just the cutomer.war file standalone as a web application.
    1. Am I missing any entries ?
    2. We need to make duplicate web-app entry with just an additional attribute. What is the reason for this?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Invoking Composite from BPMN with file read operation

    hello,
    I have a composite which does a simple file read and dumps data to database using mediator.
    right now composite gets kicked off by presence of a file in a directory.
    I would like to invoke this composite from a BPMN process, unfortunately because of nature of file adapter created through composite, jdeveloper doesn't expose the FileAdapter read operation as WSDL so I cannot create a service task out of it.
    How can I invoke composite directly without having to create a file adapter at the BPMN level and take care of transforming the records to DB adapter?
    thanks.

    As you guess, it is stored in the PSD, but only with the Maximise Compatibility switch. Without that switch, a dummy image is stored which has the text "This layered Photoshop file was not saved with a composite image.", in English, German, Japanese and French.
    My program
    psdparse extracts each layer in an 8-bit file as a PNG, and the merged image for both 8- and 16-bit files. That link is to a Subversion repository containing source code.

  • Invoke BPEL from Java for 11g

    I searched the forum and here's the code for 10g
    Trying to Invoke BPEL from JAVA
    I'm using 11g, do you know if the way to invoke BPEL is the same as 10g? If not, do you know what the differences are?
    Thanks,
    Andy

    I got the below errors when I try to call a composite in 11g. I wrote it in a simple java program and run it within jdeveloper. I'm using the adf binding. When I passed in an empty NormalizedMessage object then it worked fine. But when I passed in the payload data then I got the errors below. It did create an instance on my soa server but the instance did not call the pbel process. Do you have any ideas?
    StringBuffer inputPayload = new StringBuffer();
    inputPayload.append("<ns1:process xmlns:ns1=\"http://xmlns.oracle.com/BPELScheduler/LineItemProcessEventList\">");
    inputPayload.append("<ns1:input>test</ns1:input>");
    inputPayload.append("</ns1:process>");
    Locator locator = LocatorFactory.createLocator(jndiProps);
    Composite composite = locator.lookupComposite("default/BPELScheduler!1.0");
    Service service = composite.getService("lineitemprocesseventlist_client_ep_java");
    NormalizedMessage input = new NormalizedMessageImpl();
    input.getPayload().put("payload",inputPayload);
    service.post("process",input);

  • Problem invoking UCM 11g Web services from ODI 11g

    We have a running UCM 11g instance with its web services (GenericRequest) properly configurated.
    The wsdl is published in the url http://ucmt:16200/idcws/GenericSoapPort?WSDL and reacheble from any web browser.
    The service can be easily invoked from external applications such as soapUI 4.5.1 returning the correct SOAP response. Here is a sample request returning correct results:
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ucm="http://www.oracle.com/UCM">
    <soapenv:Header/>
    <soapenv:Body>
    <ucm:GenericRequest webKey="cs">
    <ucm:Service IdcService="DOC_INFO">
    <ucm:User></ucm:User>
    <ucm:Document><ucm:Field name="dID">27099</ucm:Field></ucm:Document>
    </ucm:Service>
    </ucm:GenericRequest>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    The problem occurs when we invoke it from the ODI assistant, when we type the WSDL URL and click in "Connect to WSDL" button,
    we get the following error in the middle pane : Invalid Request : java.lang.NullPointerException+
    The port combo and the operation pane are correctly populated
    UCM version is: 11gR1-11.1.1.6.0-idcprod1-121115T130554 (Versión Interna:7.3.3.183)
    ODI version is: 11.1.1.6.0
    Java(TM) Platform     1.6.0_30

    I would suggest contacting support channel to analyze such NPE if there is a product bug causing it.

    Hi Amarnath,
    Where exactly you are getting this error?
    If you are getting at JMS Sender communication channel, try to stop and start the JMS communication channel and see the status, also use XPI Inspector to get the exact error log.

  • Approval task SP09: Evaluation of approvalid failed with Exception: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.length() of an object loaded from local variable 'aValue'

    Hi everyone,
    I just installed SP09 and i was testing the solution. And I found a problem with the approvals tasks.
    I configured a simple ROLE approval task for validate add event. And when the runtime executes the task, the dispatcher log shows a error:
    ERROR: Evaluation of approvalid failed with Exception: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.length() of an object loaded from local variable 'aValue'
    And the notifications configured on approval task does not start either.
    The approval goes to the ToDO tab of the approver, but when approved, also the ROLE stays in "Pending" State.
    I downgraded the Runtime components to SP08 to test, and the approvals tasks works correctly.
    Has anyone passed trough this situation in SP09?
    I think there is an issue with the runtime components delivered with this initial package of SP09.
    Suggestions?

    Hi Kelvin,2016081
    The issue is caused by a program error in the Dispatcher component. A fix will be provided in Identity Management SP9 Patch 2 for the Runtime component. I expect the patch will be delivered within a week or two.
    For more info about the issue and the patch please refer to SAPNote 2016081.

  • How can i return an object isn't java object from webservice????

    Hi !
    I have a problem in my Project. When i call method return a java object from webservice , it 's too easy. But when i create my own object (ex:ClientRequest.class) , it doesn't work exactly T_T . When i return that object (on client, doesn't have ClientRequest.class) , i cann't access its static variables.
    How can i do it ??
    Please help me !
    Thanks a lot !!!!!
    class ClientRequest {
    public static int i;
    public static String s;
    public ClientRequest() {
    }

    You can use REFCURSOR type for this. In java SQL TYPES this is available too. In your PLSQL use REFCURSOR for that array and then take the same from java code. Look in the servelet programming book for this SQLTYPE and see PLSQL for handling refcursors. We have done this way and it works.

    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    the composite works. But if i try to invoke with JAVA, with the code:
    String payload5 = "<process xmlns=\"http://xmlns.oracle.com/POC_jws/ProcesoApertura/ProcesoApertura\">" +
         "     <tiposiniestro>A</tiposiniestro>" +
         "</process>";
    String conversationId = UUID.randomUUID().toString();
    NormalizedMessage nm = new NormalizedMessageImpl();
    nm.addProperty(NormalizedMessage.PROPERTY_CONVERSATION_ID, conversationId);
    Map<String,Object> payload = nm.getPayload();
    payload.put("payload", pPayLoad);
    nm.setPayload(payload);
    service.post(pOperation, nm);
    i get the following error:
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String cannot be cast to org.w3c.dom.Element
    How can I send the message via JAVA API using the mediator in my composite?
    Is there any important difference in the format between send a request with SOAP or JAVA?
    Thanks in advance.

    Talking about the dynamic rules in the Mediator, Oracle documentation says:
    "As of now, only SOAP bindings are supported. There is a dummy SOAP binding in the composite.xml file. This endpoint is overridden by Mediator in runtime through NM property. So, outbound services can be called only over SOAP."
    Is it valid for static rules as well? I means, how can i use Java API to invoke a Composite with a Mediator as first element? I always get the message:
    +"java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String cannot be cast to org.w3c.dom.Element"+
    Thanks again

  • Unable to Harvest a SOA composite from SOA suite server to OER11g

    Hi All,
    I wanted to harvest a SOA composite from SOA suite server to OER11g.For that i had followed this portion *5.2.6.1 Harvesting from Oracle SOA Suite Server* from Oracle® Fusion Middleware Configuration Guide for Oracle Enterprise Repository11g Release 1 (11.1.1) E16580-01 document.
    The Version of OER is : OER 11.1.1.2.0 , the version of SOA suite is : 11.1.1.3.0 and the version of SOA weblogic server is :10.3.3
    OER and SOA domain are different but under the same Middleware home.
    Database is also located at same machine.
    The steps i had followed:
    1.The User of the weblogic server has these three roles i.e 1. Admin 2. Operator 3. Monitor
    2.Unzip the Harvester.zip into the repository location.
    3.Modified the <RemoteQuery> section and OER section of HarvesterSettings.xml file
    4.using encrypt.bat file encrypted the password.
    5.executed the harvester.bat file
    The HarvesterSetting.xml file :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    You have to import the OER-Harvester-Solution-Pack located at C:\Oracle\Middleware\repository111\core\tools\solutions\11.1.1.4.0-OER-Harvester-Solution-Pack.zip
    (path may change under your custom installation) to the OER using the admin option import/export -> import

  • Invoking XSLT from the Command Line with JRE1.4 and JRE1.5

    When I invoke XSLT from the Windows Command Line with "java.exe org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process -IN OldFile.xml -XSL StyleSheet.xsl -OUT NewFile.xml" it worked fine with JRE1.4.
    Then I installed JRE1.5.0_09. The class "org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process" was moved to "com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xslt.Process". But when I call it with "java.exe com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xslt.Process -IN OldFile.xml -XSL StyleSheet.xsl -OUT NewFile.xml" I get the error "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main". When I look into the Process class there is no "main", but a "public static void _main(String argv[])".
    The "JAXP Compatibility Guide for the J2SE Platform, versions 1.4 and 1.5" on "http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.6/jaxp/JAXP-Compatibility_150.html" chapter "Invoking XSLT from the Command Line" claims it should work.
    Is there no more chance to invoke XSLT from the Windows Command Line? Why is "main" renamed to "_main"? Is the documentation wrong or is this a bug?
