We are about to launch a software product for online sale and have recently done extensive credit card merchant and payment gateway research.
Disturbingly, we have discocered the following.
Visa and Mc are encouraging, and may make mandatory, enrolment in their respective verification protocols, verified by visa and mc secure.
We believe both use the long discredited activex.
Firefox cannot deal with this because the plugin is unavailable and Safari is a no show.
Therefore, as vbv and mcs become more prevalent issuers and gateways will force buyers to use only ie.
Problem: No more Mac ie.
Result: Mac users will be unable to perform online transactions mandating vbv and mcs.
Solution: Those who recognise and may verify this alarming scenario are urged to urgently bring it Apple's attention.

I had a similar problem... what I did was to have a session variable that contains a boolean variable. Once the user is logged in the variable is made true, and when logged out the same variable is made false.... all I did was check for this variable at the begining of the jsp page, if true, display the required page and if false display a message like 'you are not authorized to view this page, please login'......

We have uncovered a serious bug with the getElementsByTagName() method that could cause incorrect or inconsistent results.
Looking at the bytecode via a debugger, we traced it to the checkNamespace method of the XMLElement class. In this class, an explicit object comparison between two strings is performed (s == name). The correct code should be s.equals(name). While a common coding mistake, this creates randomly inconsistent results depending on how the compiler chooses to manage strings with identical values.

First, you should verify that SP13 has been installed properly as it addresses
several "assert" errors. If the service pack was installed per the installation
documentation, you should contact BEA WebLogic support and report this problem
for an answer/resolution.

WARNING: workaround for critical clustering bug in OC4J

I found a workaround for the HTTP clustering bug described in my previous posting of August 16, 2001 "Urgent: serious HTTP clustering bug in OC4J?" (http://technet.oracle.com:89/ubb/Forum99/HTML/000261.html)
The workaround:
When adding the <cluster config/> tag in orion-web.xml specify and ID (numeric) with no more than 9 figures. The autogenerated ID is longer (14 figures on my test system)
and will cause the error.

Serious problem requiring URGENT assistance please!

I've been editing a short film shot on RED in 4k using Premiere Pro CS5 but have encountered an error with the following message when I last tried opening the project:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error
[..\..\Src\Clip\Masterclip.cpp-2802]
There's a button to continue after which, Premiere runs into a serious error and has to close. This happens everytime I open the project and literally started out of the blue it seems! I can "recover" the project and continue work on the edit by creating a new premiere project and importing the old one into the new one but the problem then persists after saving and closing the project and re-opening on my next session!
The other major problem that this is causing is that I cannot export .AAF or .OMF files out to my sound designers - the export will begin but then the progress bar will "hang" and not go any further. I previously exported an .AAF and .OMF for this project as a test to make sure it will all work and it was fine, but since getting the above error and having to create fresh projects out of old projects I cannot get these files out to complete the film! This problem also extends to things using dynamic link it would seem - for example, if I try to export the timeline using AME, the progress bar will get stuck at "connecting to dynamic link" though curiously if I do a direct export through Premiere I have no problems and can export an encoded video. Also, it seems I can still export edl's and FCP xml successfully, though after successfully importing an xml back into a new premiere project, the error struck again soon after when I tried to select the entire timeline and copy it to the clipboard to paste it into a new sequence!
I thought it might be an idea to delete all the temp files in the media cache folder buried deep within my c:drive, thinking that may be causing the error, but to no avail as I still get the error issue.
I'm getting very worried about the integrity of my project and all my hard work being ground to a halt or worse still totally corrupted so I would appreciate any assistance from someone who may have a solution to this problem! This has been a real pain as the edit has been going swimmingly up until now and we're fast approaching a deadline we were trying to make for submission to some film festivals, so I desperately need to get this to work so I can export the omf and aaf at the very least to my sound guys!

Ok, so I seem to have pinpointed the problem a little further... here are my findings so far:
So, the project I am running has multiple sequences. I've been using different sequences for different progressions of the cut, so if I made a major revision to a cut, I would duplicate the sequence, rename the copy and continue work within this new sequence to cut further.
I just did a test trying to export an OMF from a sequence iteration previous to the most current one that I'm working within and the export works just fine! In fact, I then proceeded to trying the export from all other previous sequences (I four or five in the project in total) and they all work fine when trying to export etc - it's just the most up-to-date cut that is bugging and I can't figure out for the life of me why this is the case!!!
The last test I tried was trying to copy and paste the contents of the troublesome sequence into a newly created sequence (I did so by first duplicating and then with that failing, creating a completely fresh sequence instead) but I must be copying over the error/bug as that new sequence suffers the same export issues as I have already detailed in my original post.
If anyone can help me with this issue that would be wonderful as it's getting quite frustrating being such a weird little bug that is setting our schedule back!

Urgent! Serious problem with J2EE Classloader!

I'm having a serious problem with j2ee Classloading.
I have "inherited" a J2EE application where all business classes (invoked by the EJB) are placed in the Application's Server classpath (Weblogic 8.1.4).
Very bad because every time a class is changed the a.s. must be restarted.
So I re-enginereed the package putting the business classes in a jar that is referenced by the EJB's MANIFEST file.
This way all the classes would be loaded by the EJB classloader and no need to start/stop weblogic.
Unfortunately it's not such !! I discovered that all business classes are loaded via REFLECTION

Reflection uses the classloader as well so it should work fine.
A common cause of a NoClassDefFoundError is something in a parent classloader that refers to something only available in a child loader.
For instance, do you have any of your application classes which are in the $CLASSPATH but reference something that is only (now) in the business.jar in your ear?

Serious Error (Oracle, IIS, PHP) (Urgent pliz...)

Hi Guys,
I am trying to configure PHP with oracle and IIS on my computer. I have install windows 200o with IIS support. Then i have install oracle 9i database enterprise edition that was installed successfully. After that i install PHP. PHP have the extension folder with php_oci8.dll file.
My IIS is working. I have edit the php.ini file and have un remarks the php_oracle.dll and php_oci8.dll file. in the extension directory i have given the path where my PHP Dll's are. like C:\PHP\Extensions.
I have also modify the environment variables. have given the path of c:\php;c:\php\extension and similary oracle bin directory path.
I have also added another system variable for oracle_home and oracle_home_name according to my oracle installations.
Now when i try to run the code to connect to my oracle. I get this error.
"unable to find dll php_oci8.dll"
where am i wrong. I have tried chaging things so many times but error is the same. What am i missing? Plis help me urgently i am stuck to this problem for a week now.

If you are still in problem then there are my simple suggession.
Install the Oracle 8i/8 client on the websever. Beacuse php_oracle.dll and php_oci8.dll files are only worked with the above database client or server version.
If you have two different machines websever and database server then oracle 8i/8 client should be install on webserver.
I think there would be lot of other soulitons, but I solved my problem this way.

[urgent] Java Serious Problem

Hello,
I've a very serious problem after installing Java. After the installation, the program asked me to restart my computer. After doing so, only my wallpaper can be seen. The taskbar, icons and other programs that will always startup automatically did not appear.
I opened Task Manager, closed and opened explorer.exe, then all the things came out. However, my antivirus, firewall etc did not startup as usual. I proceed on to uninstall Java and did a restart. The same problem appears again.
I called Microsoft and they told me to call Sun Microsystems instead. Sun Microsystems told me that they don't have technical support for the freeware Java.
I would like to know how can I solve this problem? Please help.

2) If you have active desktop enabled - what ie version are you running... the only change that a new jvm install affects as far as ms_w? is concerned is the jvm itself... nothing else.....

We have EDI payments setup in our US SOB and have been using the EDI process (Payment Order/Remittance Advice (PYO) process) without any problem. I am trying to setup the EDI payments in Canada SOB which uses the same Oracle 11.5.10.2 instance as US SOB.

Base Customization starts with the CR100 - BASE CUSTOMIZATION. You need to have a good understanding of the CRM Business Transaction, Business Partners, Organization Modules and Products related technical details.
As for the technical Questions, the best points is SDN as it contains mostly the live questions and scenarios which no one else will be able to provide you. Also put a debug point in the existing code and try to get into deep as much as possible.

weblogic.Server is the WLS 5.1 server that WLCS 3.2 runs on. Your WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH in your
set-environment script for WLCS may have an error. Make sure that WEBLOGIC_HOME points to the
installation directory of your WLS installation.

Serious and urgent issue ! please help

Here is the problem I got:
Audio and video disappeared on all the clips i used in my timeline and I don't know why because I did nothing and i've been using fcpx for months.
I tried to relink it many times, but even if i try to relink the files individualy, i got an error message saying that the original file didn't contain audio datas but the new one has audio, so they can't be relinked. All I got know when i read the timeline is black and silent.
How can I do? It looks like something changed about the media files I used in my timelline, but I have no idea of what happened..I tried to open the autosave projects, but the problem is the same(black and silent timeline even in the autosave projects).
I have to finish this work by tomorrow, so I'm really in a hurry.
Can someone help me?

Where is the original media stored? Is it in your library (managed) or external to the library? What kind (formats) is that media? Were you using synced clips and if so, were they done in Final Cut or in another app like Plural Eyes?
In your first post, you said that you tried to open "auto saved projects"? Did you mean the back up libraries that are created every 15 minutes or so and stored in Final Cut Backups?

Serious Problem...Urgent Help needed

     I am facing a problem problem and it seems that it is more related to the parameters we pass to oracle ias server. There is some attribute to be set in deployment descriptor (orion-ejb-jar.xml file) i suppose.
The process is as below:
There are 2 cases i.e.,
1. Insert & Select
2. Select
In case 1, following are the operations taking place :
     1. A set of rows will be inserted in the A table
     2. The same will be refered and inserted into child tables.
     3. Then from other beans, many select queries from different tables
     are executed.
     4. And finally, the newly inserted row from table A will be selected.
During the point 4 execution, the server throws
     java.lang.IllegalStateException: TransactionExpired : java.lang.NullPointerException
In case 2, following are the operations taking place :
     In this case, server executes only point 3 & 4( see in case 1). In this case, the exception is not thrown.
It selects all the requested data and works fine.
I am wondering why this problem arises in case 1. The full details of Transaction Expired exception

Normally in case 1, transaction would take at the max of 2 min. Though i have changed the data-sources.xml and server.xml timeouts to 10 min...i am facing the same problem.
Another information which i required is, How to utilize connection pooling using ejb's? If possible, Please give me the required paramaters for data-source.xml in order to utilise the connection pool...
I have read in many sites, that giving pool-location in data-source.xml, the data-sources will be registered in the pool. I tried out the same, the pooling was not utilised...Below is my data-sources.xml file contents:

If i increase the inactivity-time-out then, i can use connections for some more time. I didnt understand the flow of it...
Please let me know as how to utilise connection pooling so that it may solve ORA-000020 problem.

The error is coming from Oracle DB. Please ask your DBA to increase the processes to a higher value in the init.ora.

Very serious issue with MSI K8N Neo2-FX: need urgent help!

1. 3D Mark 05 demo, COD2 single player and Half Life 2 become semi-frozen.
2. The audio loops, and audio & video go out of sync.
3.VPU Recover/Infinite loop issue DOES NOT kick in.
4. The semi frozen game responds poorly to mouse movement.

Thanks for your help. I am trying to locate Corsair dealers in Kolkata(My hometown). Are there any known issues with the K8N Neo 2 FX? I bought this motherboard just a few days back and I am facing so many problems.
Does this motherboard undervolt the AGP and RAM slots? Will I have to increase AGP and DDR voltage to make my system stable? Doesn't the raising of these voltages shorten the life of the video card and ram modules? I want to buy Corsair/OCZ/Mushkin. But in case it's unavailable, will Kingston RAM lead to an unstable system?

"Very Serious threat for N70" Help Plz.Urgent

My Nokia N70 M trinig to call to a unknown no. without my permission.
When I kept my phone idle, after some time phone lights will turn on and it says "In ur account there is no enough balance to call" and 3 beep sound of disconnecting the call.(The message is in my local language) It is just like a message from my network provider.

Well, it could be a virus, although i never heard of it. Only viruses i know are CommWarrior and Caribe. One of them sends MMS's during night, usually around 4 am and sends the virus via bluetooth during the day.
Anyway, that really seems you have some type of client installed on your phone. i would recommend to save only your important information, format the phone (typing *#7370#) and format your memory card. I'm positive that will be enough.
