Urgent : Smartforms: Direct printing from module pool/dialog screen

Hi all,
i have a module pool screen where in from a screen i have some inputs from the user and after saving user wud click on a button called print which shud print a slip containing the screen data.now for this purpose i have made a smartform which on execution of it's driver program fetches data from DB table and puts on to SF.
NOW MY ISSUE IS AS SOON AS THE USER PRESSES PRINT THE SMARTFORM SHUD DIRECTLY GET PRINTED.

how can I call smartforms from module pool.
I have done like below.
First Created a push button on screen and used
these code in user command through PAI

Well, as it's most urgent....
One you have a value in V_FORM_NAME you need to call this function module, passing the fields and strucures that make up the interface to your form.
Eg.

DEVICE-NO_DIALOG = 'X'.

Generating a spool from module pool

hi all,
i have a requirement to directly send output to a spool. the program type is module pool. is it possible to write the output in spool from module pool. please explain how to do that.

What it the output of the program that needs to go to spool? Is it a list?
If its a list, try to write that as separate report program and you can submit that in the dialog program and the spool will be created.

Mss reports - add module pool (dialog) to the list

Hi experts,
I need to add new reports to MSS reporting.
Is it possible to add module pool (dialog) to the MSS reports list?
I got an error when executing the program " no object stored within selected period".
The portal seems like it cannot trigger the data from backend.
Is it related to dialog program that we use?
What is the best solution because we need the manager to choose from dropdown button through the MSS reports.

Enable hotspot option in the field catalog for the .SO.NUMBER field. On clicking on SO.Number
get the cursor field value and call the smart form in the PAI (ie., in user_command module).
Probably pick ucomm triggers with hotspot.

Scenario is: Create a Z screen for material creation and after pressing save button workflow should trigger to approver and approver emailid should be fetch from Z table and have to provide a link in work flow for Z t-code which displays a report of material pending for approval..

Hi,
If you're using standard bapi's to save the material, you can then use either the standard events which are already triggered or you coul add a change document for material changes or creation.
Then this event can be the trigger of your custom workflow.

How can I call the module-pool program screen from an executable program?

Hi Mac,
I think you can proceed with a report program alone . There you create a screen with the table control to populate your result.
In the report program, after getting values for internal table for your display, just call the said screen.
i.e.
CALL SCREEN <screen number>.

SELECT-OPTIONS in Module Pool Sub-Screen

I have been working on a Module-Pool Development, in the header portion of the Screen, I have provided a Selection-Screen as a Sub-Screen because the requirement specifies to display a SELECT-OPTION in the Header Area.
Now the problem is that, when working with the Screen, as soon as I press <ENTER> the Main Screen re-calls the Selection-Screen in the Sub-Screen area and all the entries made in the Selection-Screen are reset/erased.
Kindly provide a solution either to stop the <ENTER> action to re-call the sub-screen. Or on any alternate method(s) to provide a SELECT-OPTION on a Module Pool based Screen UI.

This problem was earlier solved by one of the members and after going through it i have now created a select-option in the Subscreen. Just create two input fields, name them as if they were low and high (for convinience as in case of select-option).
U now need to create a table of type rstabfield.
Ex: gt_rstab_bukrs type rstabfield.
Now create a button and assign a Fcode for it. When you click on this button then u need to implement the ranges functionality as in select-option. For that use the following function module:

The user wants the custom module pool selection screen to look like a list selection screen. Meaning that they want to have the multiple selection box come up at the end of the field. I don't think that this is possible but maybe someone has some ideas
