URI error in S1Proxy Server 3.6 SP2

I'm recieving the following in the error log when using the proxy server:
failure: for host 129.157.128.12, handle-request reports: method without URI
Does this indicate an issue with the URL which the traffic should be proxied to, or is this a cert issue?

You get the errors in the error log file when you have a non space whitespace between the method and the URI or when you send some method which the proxy cannot understand.

In Firefox, I try to hit the suggested pages under "Testing Calendar accounts". However, this errors out every time for me.

From my understanding, that is the admin port. That brings up the GlassFish server admin page.
I do not remember creating a calendar account anywhere is my first thought. I followed the example deployment step by step so far and nowhere does it have me create a calendar user account. So, maybe there is no account at this point?
So, my first question would be:
How can I verify that I have a calendar account to begin with? ( or is this what I am doing by trying to log into the sites suggested under 'Test Calendar Accounts').
My next question would be:
What does this error mean: "getnode returned null for uri error for caldav server"?
Spin off question from that:
What should I do to fix that error?

I did not put a slash at the end of the uris I was testing

Once I put the slash at the end of the uri, the configuration page appeared and the error was not displayed about getNode anymore:

Data Committed instead of Rollback after Deadlock Error in SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2)

We're having a strange issue which is occurring only with one Customer having SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2).
Basically we have multiple threads uploading data and when an error occurs (like deadlock or any other error). The deadlock victim (process/transaction) is rolledback (from .NET). However the rollback command is not reaching SQL Server as it doesn't show
in the trace (through SQL Profiler).
To make things worse, not only the transaction is not being rolled back but the INSERTs executed before the error are being somehow committed, leaving the database in an inconsistent state.
This is only produced in one environment.
Any idea what the issue could be?

All statements are executed with in a Transaction. Under the same scenario this code works perfectly fine for 1000s of customers. Only one customer has this issue.
You need to capture profiler to check transaction scope.

Sql server 2008 R2 SP2 -Error: 18056, Severity: 20, State: 29

HI ,
I am getting this error in sql server 2008 R2 SP2 version .
The client was unable to reuse a session with <SPID>, which had been reset for connection pooling. The failure ID is 29. This error may have been caused by an earlier operation failing. Check the error logs for failed
operations immediately before this error message.
I am getting same error messages but only SPID are different as of my knowledge this error will resolve in SP@ version but seeing now so please let me know how to resolve the issue

How are you trying to connect? Could you take a look at the physical SQL Server Error log and see if you find any other error?

IPlant Web Server 6.0 SP2 - Error in parsing Magnus.conf,

We have installed iPlanet 6.0 SP2 Webserver installed on Sun Solaris (SunOS 5.6 Generic_105181-33 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-250). We have 3 instance running on this servre. They were configured well and were running fine.
Now when I login thru console and try to change the port or any other configurations, I get Error "Error Parsing the Magnus.conf" and also "Internal Error - The administration server was unable to fulfill your request." Its not able to change or even view the contents of some files like magnus.conf thru the admin console. The error is occuring for 2 instances, which were configured. The third instance seems to be running fine, with no such errors.

I describe to you the my problem: in the console of my Web Server, after selection my virtual server and clicked on "Add Listen Socket", i've inserted my configurations (ID: xxx - IP: 0.0.0.0 - Port: 443 - Servername: xxx - Security: on) and clicking on "OK", i receive this error: "Error in parsing Magnus.conf".

Hello,
Are you trying to install SQL Server on a compressed or encrypted drive? SQL Server won’t install on a drive/folder with these attributes.
Are you trying to install SQL Server on a ReFS file system? It is not supported on SQL Server 2012.
Disable any security/antivirus software and download the media again. Mount the media (.ISO file) and try to install again.

SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT - Error retrieving folders with SCCM 2012 and SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2

Hi:
According to all the Reporting Services logs my Reporting Point was setup correctly. When I try and run any report I see the entries below in the srsrp.log on the SQL Server. The report names show up in the Console but when I right any of the
listed reports I get errors and no report runs.
I am running SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 on a remote server. SQL is installed on its own server. There is no firewall between the Configuration Manager server and SQL Server.

Hi:
Windows Firewall is off on both systems.
I can ping the Configuration Manager server from the SQL Server by netbios name, ip address and fully qualified domain name.   I can ping the SQL Server from the Configuration Manager server by netbios name, ip address and fully qualified domain
name.
I have uninstalled and installed the Reporting Point Service a couple of times and everything looks fine according to the logs after the install finishes but these errors only appear each time I try and Run a report.

Error occur when installing iPlanet App server 6.0 SP2

Dear All,
I have problems in installing the iPlanet App server 6.0 SP2 in Solaris.
I choose typical installation and select default settings.
- install iplanet server
- typical install
- install ALL components
However, the following errors occur during the installation:
sh: ./pre_nas_preinst: not found
ERROR. Failure installing iPlanet Application Server Web Connector Component. Do you want to continue [n]?
ERROR. Failure installing iPlanet Application Server Core Server Component. Do you want to continue [n]?
ERROR. ...........
What's the problem with it? Could anyone help....?

I would recommend to use the latest version of application server which is iAS6.5sp1MU2. Try this out and see if you run into any problems. Also please check the release notes available at docs.sun.com to check the compatibility.

Error installing SQL Compact 3.5 sp2 on 2012 64-bit server.

Sql Compact 3.5 sp2 will not install on 2012 64-bit server. I'm getting an error that the replication components need to be installed for Sql 2008. My Sql Server is at sp1 (11.0.3393) and is replicating currently to another Sql Server.
Both 64 and 32 bit installs gives me this error.

First, you need the latest tools, build 8089, download links here:

And secondly (I assume this is a 2 server configration, with separate IIS and SQL Server?) - you need to install the 2012 database engine as well, to get the replicaation components installed (just stop and disable the SQL Server service after install, so
it does not consume any unneccesary resources)
And thirdly, SQL 2012 SP1 is not enough, you must install the latest CU, both on the IIS server and on the database server.

Frequenet dead locks in SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2

Hi,
We are experiencing frequent dead locks in our application. We are using MSSQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 version. When our application is configured for 5-6 app servers, this issue is occurring frequently.
But, when the same application is used with the MSSQL Server 2008 R2 or SQL Server 2012, we don't see the dead lock issue. From the error lock and sql trace, the error message is thrown for the database table JobLock. We have a stored procedure to insert/update
for the above table when the job moves from one service to other. The same procedure works fine when used with the 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2012 Version.
Is the above issue related to the hotfix from the below url?

If you are having deadlock trouble in your SQL Server instance, this recipe demonstrates how to make sure deadlocks are logged to the SQL ServerManagement Studio SQL log appropriately using
the DBCC TRACEON, DBCC TRACEOFF, and DBCC TRACESTATUS commands. These functions enable, disable, and check the status of trace flags.
To determine the cause of a deadlock, we need to know
the resources involved and the types of locks acquired and requested. For this kind of information, SQL Server provides
Trace Flag 1222 (this flag supersedes 1204, which was frequently used in earlier versions of SQL Server.)

With this flag enabled, SQL Server will provide output in the form of a deadlock graph, showing the executing statements

primarily involves minimizing the likelihood of their occurrence. Most of the techniques for minimizing the occurrence of deadlocks are similar to the general techniques for minimizing blocking problems.

Trying to install features for PowerPivot and Reporting Services from SQL Server 2012 with SP2, but no access to key?

Hi,
I had installed SQL Server 2012 PowerPivot on WFE and App Server. This is test farm with 1 WFE and 1 APP and 1 SQL Server.
However, we had a heap of issues with Windows Claims Authentication and PowerPivot - issues were raised with "unable to make a connection to EntityDataSource" . Now we uninstalled the PowerPivot and Reporting Services features and wanted to install
with the SQL Server 2012 with SP2. Originally SP2 was installed seperately and we had read there had been issues.
Anyway on trying to install the features again using the SQL Server 2012 with SP2 iso I get
Could not open key UNKNOWN\Components
I don't want to start deleting or changing permissions as quite dodgey. What is this key for anyway and how do I resolve my issue.

Hi John,
Did you meet the error message during the process of configuring the PowerPivot for SharePoint?
If yes, I suppose that the existing features or components have not been uninstalled completely.
I recommend to delete the two keys left when uninstalling the PowerPivot and please make a copy of the registry keys before you delete the two keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\15.0\WSS\ServiceProxies\Microsoft.AnalysisServices.Sharepoint.Integration.MidTierServiceProxy

Error start managed server from admin console in SSL mode

I have configured Admin server, managed servers and node manager on the same physical server and commonly using a single SSL sertificate.
There is no problem to start node manager, admin server and managed server individually. But if I try to start managed server from the admin console then I am getting the following errors.

From the admin console ... Are you able to check the status of Node Manager ?
If yes ... please check the SSL configuration of managed servers ...
Check the domain administration port also.
