Hi,
I've been trying to pinpoint why our LMS 3.2 Ciscoworks server shuts down all LMS processes on occasion.

This is most likely related to CSCsx23656 which is fixed by applying the patch for CSCta56151 from http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/go/ImageList.x?relVer=3.2.0&mdfid=282640771&sftType=CiscoWorks+Device+Fault+Manager+Patches&optPlat=Solaris&nodecount=2&edesignator=null&modelName=CiscoWorks+Device+Fault+Manager+3.2&treeMdfId=268439477&treeName=Network+Management&modifmdfid=&imname=&hybrid=Y&imst=N&lr=Y .

  • Ciscoworks -- netconfig -- URN_NOT_FOUND : urn "JRM" : Not found

    Hi Cisco Team,
Im posting this case as i did not get a proper solution from the thread {https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/646282#646282,
scoWorks and Databases urgent}. Here the issue is almost same as ....
netconfig window opens with an error message ::
NS0033 : Error occured while processing.
This may be because of URN_NOT_FOUND : urn "JRM" : Not found !!
And an error in the jrm file as :: "FATAL ERROR : Can not connect to database cmf"
This issue started from the day when client noticed that there is a disk constraint in the drive and moved unwanted or non-ciscoworks related file to another storage area. So i was referring the old thread and did the below troubleshooting.
    net stop crmdmgtd
    net start crmdmgtd
    rebooted the ciscowoks server
Found the below files under NMSROOT\databases\cmf
    1.cmf.db (Did not find cmf.log)
    2.a folder called orig
I did not do NMSROOT\objects\db\win32\dbsrv9 -f NMSROOT\databases\cmf\cmf.db (Not sure any data will be lost after doing this step and not sure if it is required ??)
You may please find the attached pdshow, jrm.log, netconfigclient logs etc....Noticed that jrm is never started nor started if tried manually. And in services.msc CWCS cmf database status is neither showing as started nor stopped, but blank as attached in the screen shot.
    From the another thread {https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/680779#680779,
CiscoWorks LMS 2.2 Problems with Jobs (jrm process) }and confirmed that\CSCOpx\www\classpath\cisco\nm\cmf\DBService\DBserver.properties --have all the five lines properly.
Kindly help as soon as possible...
    ~PR

YES !! thats it, the issue is resolved......and im able to do netconfig jobs.
    This thread is closed.
    Note:-
I was afraid to do the below step prior to post this thread as i was unaware of the impact.
    dbsrv9 -f
Can you pls let me know what really the script does on the cmf database (dbsrv9 -f)
Could you let me know how to reinitialize the cmf/rme/ani etc (procedure)..
what precautions to be done b4 doing this...
how to confirm the connectivity to the databases of cmf/rme/ani etc.
Im sure there would be some commands to check this.
This is just to add my knowledge base.
    regards
    rajesh

  • Netconfig Jobs- Error URN_NOT_FOUND: urn "JRM": Not Found!!

I have a server running Ciscoworks LMS 3.2.1 version. Server has been working without any issues.
Now when I try to go into Netconfig Jobs, I get the following popup:
    CFG0008: Error occured while processing.
Possible Cause: URN_NOT_FOUND : urn "JRM" : Not found !!
I've been looking at various threads similar to my situation and tried several, to no avail.
I've progressively been getting better response from my system, by following some potential fixes.
PDSHOW works now and Server Info shows all PASS with exception of ODBC version mismatches (5).
But I still see that JRM will not start.
    referenced the following thread:
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3342346

Many Thanks !!  Up and running.
    referenced msg # 3222367
followed the proc for deleting the two ctmregistry files and shutdown Win Rmt Mgmt Svc
Rebooted (clean restart), waited about 15 mins to settle, and all is back to normal.
I did restart Win Rmt Mgmt Svc afterwards, without any impact (left at Manual at startup)
    Again, thanks.

  • URN_NOT_FOUND : urn "JRM" : Not found !!

    Hi All,
Running RME 4.0.6; when I navigate to "Config Mgmt > Archive Mgmt > Archive Mgmt Jobs" I get a pop up with the error
    URN_NOT_FOUND : urn "JRM" : Not found !!
I also get a very similar (but slightly different) error when I navigate to "Config Mgmt > NetConfig > NetConfig Jobs"
    Error occured while processing.
    Possible Cause:
    URN_NOT_FOUND  : urn "JRM" : Not found !!
I get similar errors throughout the RME section of Ciscoworks.  Prior to getting this, the CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service was restarted; I have since restarted all CiscoWorks services, however the error persists.
Does anybody have any suggestions?  I have followed this thread -
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2002770
    - however it has not resolved the issue.
Thanks in advance for any replies

Please try to remove ctmregistry and ctmregistry.backup NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/rme/WEB-INF/lib (remove them to any other directory like desktop for backup) and restart daemon manager.
Check the process after that if that works, if not, please share the output of pdshow from server (NMSROOT\bin\pdshow).
FYI, LMS 2.6 is no more supported, being EOS/EOL, all t/shooting will be on a best support basis.
    -Thanks

    Hi Afroj,
I have tried the procedure which you have mentioned but it didnt work.I tried removing the ctmregistry file and started the serices. But the Cisco works server still has issues.
LMS is not integrated with ACS.Its a standalone server.(Non ACS )

    No change...
What I noticed when looking directly into CMF database is that "CampusOgsGroupCacheTable" is completely empty where as the following tables contain data:
        CampusOgsGroupPropertiesTable
        CampusOGSTagTable
        CampusUserGroupAssociationTable
What could be the reason for this behaviour?
I yet thought about the option to export all the groups from CMF (or at least the campus groups) and drop all tables from OGS and re-importing the groups but when I try to do this I get the following error:

just to be sure I upload the 2 ctm_config.txt files ....

I was wondering about the fact that even CampusOGSServer was running, CTM could not allocate the necessary ports (netstat -a).Because everything seems to be ok I commented out
        DYNAMIC_PORT_ALLOCATION=0
    in ..../campus/WEB-INF/lib/ctm_config.txt
after stopping and starting CampusOGSServer (pdterm/pdexec) the device selector in UT was up and running again ...
I did a test with setting
        DYNAMIC_PORT_ALLOCATION=1
result: UT device selector was broken
It looks like this line (no matter if set to 0 or 1) seems to break "campus CTM" on this server...
It is running for now, but there are still 3 issues open and I do not know if they are directly associated
    1)  OGSCli is still not working and finishes with this message:

    3) I found CampusOgsGroupCacheTable in cmf database to be empty on 2 different lms 3.2 installations (both solaris) but I cannot believe that this is ok due to some stored procedures pointing to this table to keep it on sync with CampusOgsGroupPropertiesTable

  • CFG0008: Error occured while processing. Possible Cause: URN_NOT_FOUND : urn "JRM" : Not

    Dears , Kindly advise
I have a server running Ciscoworks LMS 4.2.3 version.

It may be that the related services are down. Share the output of NMSROOT/bin/pdshow -brief from the server to share service status.
Many times, it happens when the port required by service is being used by other. Try the following procedure and see it works :
1.Stop daemon manager: net stop crmdmgtd
2.Go the location: CSCOpx\MDC\tomcat\webapps\rme\WEB-INF\lib take a copy of the following
file and them delete them: ctmregistery and ctmregistery.backup
3.Restart the daemon manager: net start crmdmgtd (wait for 10 minutes)
    Check if everything works fine.
    -Thanks
    Vinod

  • Not found Detail Log for QM_CONTROL in Archiving

    Hi All,
We are archiving QM_CONTROL object, Created Variant with specific period with selection profile & maintain the Customization & Technical settings.after Prepossessing in job spool system is showing only the No of records selected, but not showing  Detail Log below & i checked in Logs tab also in initial screen, system showing massage" No log was generated".
Kindly help me to see the detailed list of inspection lots.

    Hello,
I have rarely used archiving, and just had to re-visit those transactions.
I don't think you will get detailed log in Prepossessing RQRQAB00 program.
System status in QA32 was sufficient in our case. ARBL Blocked for Archiving. May be filtering will help you.
    Amol.

  • SQL Loader deletes data, after reporting a file not found error

I have several control files beginning:
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE <dataFile>
    REPLACE INTO TABLE <tableName>
    FIELDS TERMINATED BY '<separator>'
When running SQL Loader, in the case of one particular control file, if the file referenced does not exist, SQL Loader first reports that the file could not be found, but then proceeds to delete all the data in the table in which the import was meant to take place. The corresponding log file reveals that the file could not be found, but also states that 0 records were loaded and 0 records were skipped.
In the case of all other control files, if the file is not found, the log files simply report this exception but do not show any statisitcs about the number of records loaded/skipped nor does SQL Loader delete the data in any of the referenced tables. This is obviously the expected behaviour.
Why is SQL Loader deleting the data referenced by one particular control file, even though this file does not exist and the corresponding log file has correctly picked up on this?

in the ressource name box of your file model, when you push the search button ("...") do you see the file ?
Cause the problem can occur when you write directly the path without selectionning the file with the assistant.
    Try this.
I think too that that you can't see the data by right clicking and selectionning View Data ?
    Let me know the avancement...

  • Page not found when connecting to server (if not logged in on server)

    Hi,
When we try to connect to the presentation server (http://esddev02:9704/analytics/saw.dll?Dashboard) we get a page not found error if I don't open a remote desktop connection session on the server first.
I suppose the problem originates in the fact that the installation of the software has been done with my credentials on the server.
The windows services start with 'Local System' as logon but the OC4J seems to start only when I log on with my user.
I don't see a reason for this as in the registry the OC4J start command is found under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Changing this to "D:\OracleBI\oc4j_bi\bin\oc4j.cmd -start& " did not change anything.
    Has somebody got a clue?
    Tx for any advice,
    Kris

    Hi,
I checked further on this today. Problem is not solved yet. I need to find a way to start the OC4J server independent from my session on the server.
    Has anybody got some advice?
    Brgrds,
    Kris
