URxvt - Handle clickable links and irssi with screen over ssh ?

Hi,
I use URxvt as a replacement to gnome-terminal. But I can't manage to make three things working :
- First, I followed the wiki to set clickable links. It worked but since a little time (I don't know really when it stopped working) URxvt only colors the links. When I click on them, it doesn't do anything.

- I'd like to automatically launch an urxvt term at startup and connect to an irssi screen session on a remote server (via ssh).
I tried : urxvt -e "ssh user@remote -t irc" where irc is an alias on the remote server that attach the irssi screen session. The problem is that with this command, urxvt opens and close immediately. I then tried to add the -hold option and various combination of "bash -c" I saw on the forum but nothing worked...
- And finally, how can I use nautilus-open-terminal to open a urxvt term in a specific folder ? I set the correct entries in dconf-editor and followed the wiki page but it doesn't work...

I had similar but different issues regarding this. Now, i have 256 color support in whatever terminal/ssh/screen session I'm in.
The relevant config lines:

note: this setup caused an issue where background colors in mutt/htop inside screen did not extend passed the line's text. i had to solve that via this workaround.

Error opening test scripts in Build and Debug with Screens

Hello,
I am testing scenarios in the Build and Debug with screens mode in OPM. I save each scenario as a test script by clicking the Export button and saving. Some test scripts are able to be opened again, yet when I try to open others, I get the error message shown at the link below and am unable to load the test script.

This did not happen previously, it just started today. All of these test scripts were created today, and the attributes have not been changes since the test scripts were created. This is seriously hindering my scenario testing ability.
Does anyone know how to rectify this problem?

Hi Kristy,
I am in OPM 10.2.
To troubleshoot, I tried redoing the test scenarios that werent working from scratch (rather than building off a previous scenario), and this time it worked. I am not sure why it works now and didnt before, and I am also not sure if they will continue working.
I will continue creating the scenarios and will be sure to update if it fails again. In the case it does fail, I will try your export recommendation.

Make sure your system software is up to date.
Click the Apple  menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update ...
And try troubleshooting Flash. Uninstall then reinstall.

Blackberry link and Hackintosh with OSX 10.8.2

Hi First of all, I could not make BB link work with my Macbook 13" retina display, or an older white Macbook. It would not find Iphotos, had problems backing up, a real mess. It sort of worked with a PC running window 8. But it was not the machine I use most of the time. But then, not wanting to feel defeated by software, I completely rebuild a Hackintosh PC with new MoBo, CPU, ram and video, and installed Mac OS 10.8.2 on it. Bought and downloaded iPhotos ($19.00) from the mac store, and miracle, the Z10 linked right away with the PC/Mac, did find iTunes , and copied files. back-up.....etc.....

If I click on a google search link and return with the back arrow on the browser it takes me to the top of the page and not the link I just opened unlike Internet explorer

I run a search on google.com and click on a link that comes up near the bottom of the page, After I read it and then use the back arrow (pointing left) to return to the searches it takes me to the top of the page to the first link google found rather than the link I just looked at. This does not happen with other web pages using firefox or Internet Explorer's Browser (using google).

Generic UDF to handle empty contexts and contexts with missing fields

I have been trying to get my head around a UDF for this for a while, but cannot find the solution. I''l start by showing input structure, and expected target structure (subset of an invoice IDoc with 4 line items):

I want the price from E1EDP05/BETRG where KOTXT = Z1to be set for each line. As you can see the source structure can be split in 4 cases:
1. for some line items there exist multiple E1EDP05-segments with one of them qualifier Z1 and one corresponding amount field. This is the "perfect" structure and easy to handle.
2. some line items contains E1EDP05 with qualifier Z1 with no BETRG. Problem-case
3. some line items contains no E1EDP05-segments with qualifier Z1, but contains other E1EDP05-segments. Can be solved.
4. some line items contains no E1EDP05-segments at all. Can be solved.
I need to (I believe) set the context of the KOTXT and BETRG to E1EDP01 since I want one value per line item, irrespective of how many E1EDP05-segments exist per line item. In cases where no value can be found for relevant qualifier (Z1) or no E1EDP05-segments exist for a line item I want a default value to be set (N/A).
My problem is that all these different cases might occur in the same file, and they mess up the values in each context, leading to wrong BETRG to be picked in some cases (where case 2 exist) since mapWithDefault cannot be used (context contains value for other qualifier).
Do you know how to handle all these cases?
Any pseudo-code for an UDF?

Thanks a lot, your idea didn't completely solve my problem, but pointed me in the right direction and gave me some valuable ideas:)
For anyone wondering how it is done, I solved it by using your suggested two inputs, along with a third input (constant) which functions as default value for contexts where value-field is missing for a specific qualifier, or in case no segments with desired qualifier exists for a context.
My mapping now looks like the following (where KOTXT is qualifier and KRATE is value field) for the 3 inputs:

KOTXT(Context = E1EDP05) \

1. there are no segments containing relevant qualifier
2. there are segments with relevant qualifier, but missing value field
3. there are segments with relevant qualifier and value field

SAP GUI 7.20 for Windows and problem with Screen Painter

Hello,
I just installed the SAP GUI 7.20 for Windows and it looks good.
But when when I start the Screen Painter for a dynpro I get the following message:
Graphical Layout Editor not available. Continue with alphanumeric editor.
And: EU_SCRP_WN32 Connection broken '..' / CPIC
The SCreen Painter is installed correctly (I can start ist manually from file system) and the RFC destination works.
Any idea?

I've uninstalled all SAP installations, cleaned the registry of Windows XP and deleted all folders with SAP content. Then I've installed the SAP Gui 7.20 again and it works.
And now I will update the Screen Painter with the information from the OSS-Note!

Kids are nice but can be a real bugger near computers.
*Does anyone know of a way to lock the keyboard and mouse but with the screen still visible?*
I'm using my MacPowerbookPro to play music at home and would like to see whats playing without my kids changing tracks, applications and god knows what more.
It feels like this is a funcion that should be included in the system but I have googled the topic without success.
Anyone?

In Keyboard & Mouse, under Keyboard Shortcuts there is a listing for "Turn full keyboard access on or off" but it doesn't seem to do anything on my computer.

There is a difference between how PE8 handles the panel and bin with Windows 7 and Vista.

In Vista, the panel bin closes wehen unchecked in the Wndows menu. The same procedure in Windows 7 collapses the panel. Or am I wrong?

Forwarding login screen over SSH

Hi,
I am trying to forward my Solaris login screen to my PC running an X server. I want to forward the login screen that says
"Welcome to <hostname>
Solaris
Please enter your user name"
How do I go about this? What is the file in Soalris that boots this screen on start up? I can forward a CDE session to my PC, but I dont want to do that. I need this login screen.

With my old computer I managed to display this screen on a Windows X client using XDM. On my new machine I did not manage this because dtgreet does not work on remote machines when having installed the latest patches.
Using SSH it is not possible to show this screen at all.
If it was possible with another version of dtgreet you had to log-in as "root" using SSH (it would not work with another user) which is a problem because SSH typically denies root access.
The question is: Why do you wish to show this display on the remote machine? Maybe there is a better way to archieve the goal you actually want.

Java Caps 5.1.3. and SFTP (FTP over SSH)

I'm trying to use the BatchSFTP option from the batch eway to setup FTP over SSH. I'm having trouble in setting up the keyfile. I've generated a trusted_hosts file using openSSH via CYGWIN (I'm running on W2003 server). The error I get is: Batch SFTP eWay connection failed, method=[connect()], message=[Exception when connect(), e=java.io.IOException: Invalid SSH1 public key format].
Has anyone experience with FTP over SSH and can help me out on this.

You need to convert the server public key for the server that you are connecting with to the IETF SECSH format. If you have access to do that, you can run the command ssh-keygen -f myServerPublickey.pub -e > myIETFServerPublicKey.pub. Otherwise, your UNIX server admin will need to run that. Put the ITEF key in your .ssh directory and have CAPS reference that IETF format and you should be set. Make sure the connectivity map/env explorer is set to public key authentication.
I think there is a bug in CAPS with how it is handling the SSH formated key. I have been unable to prove it to support. Furthermore, more pressing issues have taken up my time (aka, other projects).

I downloaded the newest version of Firefox and now I can not use any of the clickable link tabs in yahoo mail, gmail, or hotmail. Do you know what is causing this.

Go to msn.com for example: at the top of their page they have clickable link to hotmail. When I upgraded to Firefox 7 this link no longer works. Same thing happens with my yahoo mail, gmail and hotmail. If you open up yahoo mail for example; I can not click on the signout tab.... it doesn't function with firefox 7. I worked prior to uploading new version. I don't have that problem on my windows 7 platform.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

What you are trying to create is called a crawl, and you can create one by using the Roll/Crawl tool in the Titler workspace.
To open the Titler, click the "T" on the lower right of the Monitor panel. The Roll/Crawl tool is located in the lower left of the Tasks panel in the Titler.
You won't be able to create a huge, continuous crawl, but you can certainly use it to create the effect of a headline crawling right to left across the lower third of your screen.
