I think I understand what you want to do. You have a gift certificate for a purchase at Apple and you want to use the value of this certificate to purchase an iTunes card. If this is correct, I don't think you can do this. I tried doing it a while back and found out that the two cards (Apple gift card and iTunes card) are treated separately. Sorry! You will have to use another method of getting an iTunes card... How about a debit card?

I don't believe that you can purchase additional storage with gift cards. Additional storage will be an annual subscription, Apple will need to know how you are going to pay next year and every year after that. -

If you mean in-app purchases, yes, in most cases a gift balance will work. Some apps do not accept gift balances, but I've not heard of a game where that is the case.
