Thanks for your response. our reuirement is we are using truck for transportaion with non palletised between production plants to DCs . We have the master data that for each product the maximim number of cases for a Truck. But as a whole we cannot maintain data that what are the maximum number of cases per Truck as it depends on the product case size.To achieve this,we maintained a UOM "Truck" and maximum no of cases per truck is maintained in the product master.I wanted to define the Truck as parameter and will define TLB profile as min 0.1Truck to 1.0 truck. Maintained UOM as truck in TLB profile. Hence we go for customised parameter TRUCK.
Is there any alternative way to map this?

I have read the "PDF Open Parameters" document:

I am trying to use the "page" and "highlight" parameter in a URL (called from Flash) to open a PDF to a specific page and then draw a rectangular highlight on a specific area on that page. According to the above document, I should be able to do this by using the following URL:
http://www.MySite.com/MyPdf.pdf#page=10&highlight=10,20,30,40
This will open the PDF to the proper page (10) but I don't see any highlight. The "PDF Open Parameters" describes the usage of the "highlight" parameter as follows:
highlight=lt,rt,top,btm "Highlights a specified rectangle on the displayed page. (Use the page command before this command.)
The rectangle values are integers in a coordinate system where 0,0 represents the top left corner of the visible page, regardless of document rotation."
It sounds to me that all I'm supposed to do is define the left (lt), right (rt), top and bottom (btm) boundaries of the rectangle by a single integer.
But, why am I not seeing the highlight? Do I need to use co-ordinate X,Y sets? Are the integers I am supposed to be using pixels, or arbitrary units? If 0,0 is the top left corner of the page... what's the bottom right corner?

For an 8.5 x 11 page size; the x-axis ranges from 0 to 612 and the y-axis ranges from 0 to 792.

Error while subscription on SSRS report that uses custom assembly

I am new to SSRS. i have created a report that uses custom assembly that runs an oracle procedure and bring back result to report. this works fine on sharepoint mode interactive report. while i subscribe the same report, i am getting below error

Can you see data for Custom object @ BEx level??
YES, then just try to re-create the same variable and Save the BW query.
Now do View - refresh Strusture @ Universe. And you can see Filter for the same, just Parse it, just whether it is OK or not.
OK -- then Export the Universe and create WebI reports, this will come as Prompt.

Issue with calling url using custom uri from page loaded in stagewebview

I am using stageWebView for showing webpage in my mobile app but don't know how to move back to my app once it gets loaded. In application descriptor file, I had already registered custom uri scheme (myapp://) for IOS devices and from the loaded page inside stageWebView, I was trying to call following URL myapp://webcam. But nothing had happened. It neither called LOCATION_CHANGE event of StageWebView not called INVOKE_EVENT of nativeapplication.
How can I fix this issue?

yea it gets launched correctly from safari. But my problem is with the link(which is using custom uri scheme e.g myapp://backtoapp) in the loaded page inside StageWebView. It is not allowing app to moveback to app from StageWebView. Moreover these two event listeners INVOKE_EVENT(native application) and LOCATION_CHANGE(stagewebview) are not responding. Dont know what should I do in order to move back to app area(mainView.mxml) from StageWebView(native browser).

Custom Sql fails when using Date Parameter

I need to do following using DB adapter
select count(*) from some_table where creation_date >= #from_date and creation_date <= #to_date
I used Custom sql options, but It did not asked for add params. so I added manually above params in the query. I am getting following query. I don't know how to get this working. i am on 10.1.3.
Here I am getting from and to dates from a AQ message. AQ has from and to_date as date type elements. I am doing copy assign of these to SQL input params

I think the database accepts only your database format' dd-mm-yyyy'.
Try to define #from_date & #to_date as string and use to_date() in your custim sql statement.

URGENT: How to encript a parameter in a URL?

My requirement is when I click on a link(which is not created on an OAF page), I want to call a seeded page which displays the data corresponding to an Id passed. I'm creating the link using html code. The seeded page is ArticleDetailsViewPG.
On clicking this link, I'll call the URL :
OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/okc/articles/webui/ArticleDetailsViewPG&articleVersionId=44
In the process request of the controller of this page(ArticleDetailsViewPG), the following code is there :

I want to know how I can encrypt the value in the URL?
If I send the articleVersionId without encrypting it, the seeded page throws an error. But when I changed the controller code to

,the page opens successfully.

It seems that this thread has trailed off into oblivion like many others :(
I am interested in a solution to a problem very much like what has been described here. I am able to extend the controller etc. and that is the method I have started exploring.
My example is calling of a repository contract detail page directly from core forms. The parameter to the controller object is contractId (encrypted). If I follow the guidelines for extending controllers, I can only encrypt it after I call super.processRequest which will fail because it expects a contractId and finds none since I am launching the page and passing an unencrypted contractId (I have also tried using a custom parameter contractId1 since this gets encrypted and set to contractId later on). All methods fail because of the super.processRequest which expects an encrypted contractId in the parameter.
I can do the super.processRequest after the custom code encrypts the contractId and puts the parameter in pageContext. This method works. However I'd like to know how safe this is since I'm not following the conventional guidelines for extending a CO. Can anyone tell me what the possible risks are doing it this way??

Issue in keeping the InfoView session valid using Custom JSP Open Document

We are using OpenDocument URL in custom JSP to show BO Web Intelligence Document. The documents are opening fine but some of our WebI documents have links to other WebI document, when the link is clicked it takes to Info View Login Page.
If I login and logout once from InfoView then the WebI document links work fine.
Can you please guide me on how to make the session valid for WebI internal links? Do I need to create a Cookie or use URL Encoding?

Some of the URLs in the webi documents were incorrect and so Info View was taking to the Info View Login page.
But I am surprised though why info view not complain about incorret and rather takes to the login page.

How to use a parameter field value as a substring in a "like" statement?

I'm trying to use a parameter field in a Record selection formula where the parameter field value would be a substring of the data stored in the field.
My parameter field (SlctResearcher) is constructed as follows:
Type: string
List of Values: static
Value Field: (Reports) RptAuthors
(in Value Options) Allow custom values?: True
{Reports.PubDate} in DateTime (2009, 04, 01, 00, 00, 00) to DateTime (2010, 03, 31, 23, 59, 59) and
{Reports.RptAuthors} like "*{?SlctResearcher}*"
When I hit F5 to generate the data, I get no results (and the parameter prompt field does not even come up...)
If I modify the formula to put a hard-coded string, like
"*Jones*"
after the 'like', I get results (all the reports where "Jones" is a substring in the RptAuthors string.) If I modify the formula to just use the parameter field without the quotes/stars like:
{Reports.PubDate} in DateTime (2009, 04, 01, 00, 00, 00) to DateTime (2010, 03, 31, 23, 59, 59) and
{Reports.RptAuthors} like {?SlctResearcher}
I do get the parameter prompt field, but still no results even if I put in a valid substring value (since it is not searching for a substring anymore...)
How can I do this?

1st thing... Make a copy of your report before doing anything!!!
To use a SQL Command, you'll want to open the Database Expert and look at the Current Connections. Expand the data source and the 1st option you see is the Add Command option.
To find the SQL That CR is currently using, choose Database from the menu bar and select Show SQL Query...
You can copy this and paste it directly into the command window. (If you you can write your own SQL you don't need copy CR's, it's just an option.)
You'll also want to take not of any parameters that you have, you'll need to add them the the Parameter List of the command as well... be sure to spell them EXACTLY as they are in the design pane.
Anyway, once the SQL statement is in the Command window you'll be able to alter the WHERE clause to use the wild cards.
For future reference... What type of database are you reporting against???

My client has a requirement to create the following 4 infotypes in sequence in a LUW, i.e either all are created or none is created.
9045 (custom infotype)
0045
0078
0015
I tried to use the nocommit parameter on FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION to insert the 4 infotypes
in a nocoomit mode and then at the end I have issued
'Commit Work', but to my surprise only I/T 0015 is created in the database and the first three (9045, 0045 and 0078) did not make it to database.
I searched many threads on SDN but could not find a solution.
Please let me know if there could be any solution to implement the LUW.
YOur inputs will be appreciated.

i think u can also try with this FM HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA , see its documentations.
no commit works like a simulation mode , what u can do is ,
call FM for all Infotypes and collect all error msgs if any , then finally call FM for all infotypes again without passing nocommit work ( i.e space).

When use custom authetication it shows some characters on screen after logo

Dear All,
I have developed a application and use custom authentication schema for that. It works fine on my local pc and then I have moved it to another pc (export and then import) it works fine on that as well.
Now I have moved it to the production server. When authentication failed it shows error message and stay in log on page. But when I provide the correct user name and password, then it shows multiple occurance of login url in page body.
Did anyone has any idea about this.

I have a map using custom xsl. I deployed it to different enviroment. When my BTS application ran, it complained

I tried Microsoft.Samples.BizTalk.ExtendingMapper.OverridingMapXslt sample. I compiled and deployed it, then I modified OverridingMapXslt.xslt to OverridingMapXslt2.xslt. I dropped input file and there was no complaint about missing OverridingMapXslt.xslt.
I thought .xsl is treated like any other source code file and is compiled into the assembly at build time. Why I got this error?

Unless you've compiled the .xsl into your custom component as a Resource, then yes, that exact path has to exist anywhere it will run.
However, as la Cour points out, a BizTalk Map has a Custom XSLT Path property that will take care of that for you.

Receive a parameter in the URL in adf application

using the sendRedirect to direct control to another adf application, as:
((HttpServletResponse)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getResponse()).sendRedirect("some url");assuming that I am pushing parameters to the url, how can I read them in called application !!
to make the post clearer, assume that I have two adf applications A and B,
A will redirect the user to B using the sendRedirect method,
where shall I receive the request to get the parameters or attributes added to the URL !!!

Using variables in CURL for urls.

Hello, I am fairly new here and new to programming. I am trying to make a program that will ask for a url and store it in a character array and use that variable as the URL for the url argument, in quotations, using libcurl, of course.
curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_URL, "<here>");
However, when I do it the way I would with printf()
curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_URL, "%c", &...);
it says prg.c:12:53: error: macro "curl_easy_setopt" passed 4 arguments, but takes just 3
Is there a way to do what I am trying to do?

I don't know what u really want to do. And what I found is that there is not an overloaded function like the one you are trying to use, in fact there is no overloaded functions for that one.
