Use of step release in credit management?
Hi,
Is it possible to use step by step release or release strategy like the one in Purchase Orders to release the blocked sales orders in VKM1/VKM3?
Credit check can be either static or dynamic,
Blocked Orders should go to persons as per the amount to be released in Delegation of Authority.
what functioanlity in credit management can be used to achieve this.
Details of the configuration/step by step advise will be appreciated.
Helpfull answers will be rewarded.
Thanks and Regards
This can be achieved by giving the authorisations to the relevant transactions to the users with different authorisation levels.
Technically in credit management you can assign the creation to one person and change to another person.
But if you want authorisation based on levels say w.r.t amount then you need to do the organisational mapping of the people first and then create a workflow situation. What this will do is based on the different criteria you set it will seek the receiver of the message and download the message in the inbox of the person mapped who will then be able to process it.
For this you need to define workflow containers with receivers and is part of the workflow management.
IN SD plain its not possible but even
if workflow is not execute you could perhaps write an user exit where the system will first check the authorisation level of the user and see if the condition set is fulfilled and allow the person to process the transaction. This way we ca fulfil your requirement.

Advantages using FSCM-CM to classic Credit Management AR/SD
Hi,
I am interested to find out the advantages it has to use the new Credit Mgt under FSCM compared to the one in 46c..
I have read the blurp in the SAP Lib but it is not very clear.
What are the restrictions of the old one?
Can we still use FD32?
Is the update real time?
Do we really need to have XI for the new one?
Thanks in advance
Hein
P.S. Good pints like always will be rewardedHi Hein,
i dont know much abt but i am still learning the same at my place we have just upgraded from 4.6 to ecc 6.0 now with ecc you get the patch Dispute mgmt by default where we made dispute cases for the longterm openitems and linked those openitems to the respective cases so that we can keep track of them and some one can take care of these dispute cases...

Customer credit management IDOC
Hi,
I am using scenario: if a customer credit management document is changed in R/3. Send the change as an IDOC to CRM. Can you please identify any standard IDOC for customer credit management or I will have to use customer master IDOC DEBMAS (but I do not have DEBMAS idoc type in CRM).
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
FaiqA new Credit Control Area is created in the Configuration menu (IMG - transaction SPRO). Path: Enterprise Structure>Definition>Financial Accounting>Define Credit Control Area.
There are also additional tasks like assigning the Credit Control Area to the Company code........etc.
If you do not have access to the IMG then your SAP support team will be able to do it.
Once created you can do what you need to do as per previous posts. -

Credit Management: Use of release button in VKM2
3)what is the use of release button in VKM2. where does it releases?
Notes: If Credit Management is activated at Sales Order level and the credit block is removed through VKM1,VKM3 or VKM4, we can see the in VKM2 transaction code. But in VKM2 transaction code, we have release option .
What is the purpose of this options. Please assist me regarding the VKM2 transaction code. The release button in VKM2 will have no affect on the document if it has already been released. I guess that if you release the document again the release date would be updated but nothing more.
I hope this helps.

List of released sales orders which were blocked during credit management
If sales order is blocked during credit management, then it is released by Authorised person using VKM3 Tcode. Further if we want to see list of released documents, VKM2 shows the same. However VKM2 does not shows the released documents once that are billed (using VF01). Suppose post billing one wants to see how many orders were released during specific period, how it can be seen. Is there any transaction code to see such records.
VijayYou can use V.23 to view the report. The report will show you what sales order is ready for release for billing.

Credit Management: VKM4 (Release SD Documents)
Hi,
I have implemented Dynamic Credit Management at Delivery Level (02: Credit Group for Delivery). System is behaving also fine and is not allowing to save the delivery as soon as the credit limit of the customer gets increased.
But when I am trying to Release the sales order using Tx Code VKM4 (as an approval process), system is releasing the sales order in VKM4, but still at the time of delivery creation after releasing the sales order, it is again not allowing to save the delivery, saying that Dynamic Credit Check has been exceeded.
Can anyone help?

Credit Management - In delivery process released document blocked
Hello SD Experts,
This is regarding credit management. we have configured Delivery level credit check.
As per the settings System block the delivery and FI credit representative release the blocked delivery documents.
Logistics processing the delivery , Picking and Packing with out problem.
While processing the shipping activity with combined delivery VT01n - when checking Shipment started tab its automatically going back to credit block.
I have configured in the Risk Category under Released documents are still unchecked as
Deviation -- Blank
Number of Days as 15
My requirement is once released from delivery no need to do credit check again - with any deivation and Number of days limit also
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Thanks in Advance
JaffarHi Jaffar,
As per your explanation this is happening because of Number of Days as 15
This specifies the number of days after which a changed document must be re-checked for credit.
This function is used for checking documents that have already been released by a credit representative, but that have
subsequently been changed. The system does NOT carry out another credit check if the following conditions are met:
The value of the changed order is not greater than the value already approved for credit (inclusive of the deviation factor),
AND
The current date is not greater than the original release date plus the number of days specified here.
As per this there might be any changes in released document or changes in delivery dates, due to this reason system
blocking it again, try to reduce the number of days from 15 to 5 or as per your convenience and check.
Regards
Ram

Instead of copy pasting from standard, it would have been better had you advised the member to press F1 against that field (Number of days). Please dont ever try to copy paste from other source which is strictly prohibited -
Release strategy in credit management
Dear All,
My client, wants to configure credit management in such way as
For some say Rs 20000/- debit, some X shd release the blocked delivery document
and for say rs Rs 50000/- debit, some X and Y shd release the blocked delivery document
I hope I am able to put my query in right perspective.
Kindly advice
ShaileshShailesh,
This one is very much possible.
You have to take help from your basis person for releasing these docs through vkm3, vkm4, vkm5.
With the help of BASIS you can restrict release strategy as per herarcy...
You will have to use some logic in Authorisation profile/Role with the help of BASIS..
AWARD PONIS IF U FINDS THIS AS USEFUL....

Credit Management doesn't release hold from order (11i)
Hi guys...
In some cases Credit Management doesn't release the hold from order automatically.
I'm debugging CM Workflow and I didn't find anything.
So in these cases we need to force it by executing a custom concurrent.
I've found some open bugs at metalink but I'd like to know the reason for that.
Anybody knows?
Tks
Best Regards,I have a very similar problem:
I wrote an application that uses SAP DI and writes many dozents of draft documents. It doesn´t make a difference if I set
objDoc = objCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oDrafts) for each document or not: every document leeches round about 2-4 MB. That is, in case of an import of 100 documents, up to 400 MB are used.
Isn´t there a possibility to minimize the volume of leeched memory?
Info: I´m using DI and UI, but I am filtering ANY Events from the UI (just need it for singel-sign on).

How to use due date in credit management
hi,
i want to calculate my credits according to net due date
how can i use due date in credit management?
thank youNot sure what do you mean by "use due date in credit management".
If you want to calculate due date per billing document, for example, for such as customer statement, you may use "BSID-ZFBDT + BSID-ZBD1T" (Baseline date + Cash disc day 1). -
Credit management automatic credit control use of credit group
Hello gurus
1)In the credit management we have credit groups( which enables us to combine different sales
document types for the purposes of credit management).
In the simple credit check also we will assign the doc types to check the credit. Then please tell me why we need credit groups in automatic credit control? Here also we can assign the doc types to check the credit ?then what exactly is the use of credit group ?
2)where will we specify the total credit amount allowed of the credit control area?
3)In the automatic credit control (ova8) against to static check box option we have open orders and open delivers checkboxes. is this two boxes only specific to static or it also belongs to dyanic?
Is it necessary to check this boxes?
4)is any one have used any of the routines in automatic credit control( document controlling tab we have no credit check field here we specify the routine? If any business need please share with me
Thank you in advance for all the repliesHi
For your 1st query , In credit mgmt we assign credit grps to sales document type. So as you said we will assign credit grps at simple credit check and coming to the Automatic credit check we assign credit grp for the sales document type also .But the difference is credit grp can be at order level or Delivery Level or PGI level in OVA8 in Automatic credit check .
Coming to your 2nd Query , we will specify the total credit limit in FD32.
For your 3rd query , In OVA8 apart from the static check we check the boxes open orders and open deliveries also because once you activate Automatic credit check and once you maintain credit limit for any customer then system will check the open orders and open deliveries also of that customer
Coming to your last query the routine feild can be used when some requirements have to be fulfilled then only automatic credit check should work for customers. or else the sales order ->delivery->PGI will happen normally

Service Interfaces for Credit Management using WS-RM
Hi,
We are implementing FSCM Credit Management on EHP 5 without using PI. For this we are WS-RM and have configured following service interfaces:
CreditCommitmentNotification_In
CreditCommitmentNotification_Out
CreditWorthinessQuery_In
CreditWorthinessQuery_Out
However, when we create sales order, credit check is not being perfomed. Do we need any other service interface for implementing Credit Management?Hello,
I am using ECC 6 ehp 5 Which Enables you to Implement FSCM services via WS-RM (Web Service Reliable Messaging) instead of having to use Previously PI.
I require to implement the scenario is:
Credit Management (FSCM) and Integration with FICA without requiring PI.
I think I have covered all the technical configuration, but do not know how to test credit management and integration with FI-CA, appreciate if you can do to get a guide.
As indicated by the WSRM configuration guide, run the report SRT_ADMIN_CHECK and the result is:
Cross-checking system settings
bgRFC destination is Operational
bgRFC destination is registered supervisor
WSRM event handler is activated
Task is active watcher
Data collector for monitoring is not activated
ICF All nodes are active for SOAP Runtime
Ending cross-check of system settings
thank you for your help.

Using FSCM Credit Management and SD Credit Management in parallel
We are looking to implement FSCM/SAP Receivables Credit Management which will replace SD Credit Management (OVA8, FD32, etc). This will be a phased roll-out by groups of credit control areas. SAP OSS Note 1553999 was created but there is no technical detail on how to enable FSCM for some areas while still continuing to use SD for other areas. For example, we are rolling out by global region, so we would want all existing credit control areas for one region to move over to FSCM while all other regions will continue to use existing SD functionality. Is there some specific BAdI, configuration, or other custom ABAP that needs to take place to achieve this?
Thanks
DanielHi Daniel,
Try through the BADI with the IMG activity UKM_R3_ACTIVATE, you find it in the section "Integration with SD". Check the option of Filter-Dependence for the BADI definiton. It allows you to define filters such as country or line of business
The method that controls the FSCM-CM activation is: "SET_ACTIVE".
I hope that helps
Regards
Juan C.
