User Detail

Hi friends,
How to get the details of Plant to which the User belongs.   (ie.,  Based on the logon detail, I want to know the details of Plant or Branch of the user).
This is required to be displayed by default in the GUI form I have made.

  • Tabular Form - How to store in a column the User details (APP_USER)

    I have let's say the following table:
    USER_COMMENTS(
    ID number primary key,
    COMMENT_TEXT varchar2(50),
    POSTED_BY_USER varchar2(50),
    DATE_POSTED date,
    UPDATED_BY_USER varchar2(50),
    DATE_UPDATED date)
    How do I, using a Tabular Form, get the USER details in the columns POSTED_BY_USER and UPDATED_BY_USER and the SYSDATE in DATE_UPDATED...
    I've tried the following:
    Created tabular form, all fields included. In Report Attributes > edit UPDATED_BY_USER > Display as Display as Text (saves state); Default Type: Item (application or page item); Default: APP_USER.
    It's not working.

    It has to be a text field column type with source like the other updatable columns. You should hide that column and create a second of display as text if you want to show the content. Once this is done then you can use the default value and just type the item name there as you did:

  • While updating user Details I am gettingsome error

  • User details are missing in Access request in GRC 10.0

    Hello All,
    When we are trying to create Access request in GRC 10.0 for an user it results as user  details not found.
    Under SPRO - Maintain data source configuration we have configured 2 HR systems HR1 and HR2.
    But the User details exits in HR1 system and lies in validity also. We have tried to run the Repository Object Sync also still unable to search the details.
    But we observed even after the Sync job User details are not created in table GRACUSER and GRACUSERCONN. Is this could be the problem. Why its not updating even after the Sync job many times almost 10 times.
    We have also configured parameter 5023 to YES.Please advise.

    I want to get the details of the USER who did the Payment Run using F110.Neither REUGH nor REGUP is storing those details.There is a table called REGUA which is having the details but not for every run.

    I got the Payment Doc number from REGUH w.r.t the RUNDATE/ID and then passed vblnr,year from the rundate,bukrs to BKPF to get the user details.

  • User detail in custom master page

    Hi All,
    I want to make appear logged in user detail in master page. 
    In SharePoint 2013, User can see "about me" detail in System account appearing at top right corner. 
    I want same user detail to appear in custom master page. I am not sure where we can look for it. 
    I guess we need to copy user detail tag from oslo master page and can paste in our custom master page. 
    But i am not sure where to find this. 
    Any help is much appreciated.

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display user information in the master page.
    We can register SPSWC at the top of the master page to call the user profiles.
    Register SPSWC at the top of the master page:

  • Tables in which basis users details are stored

    Hello,
    I'm writing an application to read Basis users details using JCO. But I'm not able to locate in which tables the users details are stored. I tried looking at USR* tables, but most of its tables doesn't have data. Only usr01 and usr02 are having some relevant data. I also tried looking at ADR* tables, which are again of no use.
    If anyone knows in which tables Basis users details are stored, please let me know.

  • Script to get the user details by running a view from powershell

        I have a use-case of getting the list of users, who got modified in last one week or so. There was no direct way of getting the results as office-365 doesn't have the option. As i posted in a forum they suggested to use view based for retrieving

  • Need help in pulling ADLDS user details

    Hi,
    I am trying to pull all the user details with a certain search criterea from a ADLDS with more than 20 user attributes. I tried both directory searcher and Powershell for gathering the information (out of this powershell works fast). Due to formating the
    attributes it takes more than 30 minutes to run the script. Could some suggest me a better solution for this.

    I  started using Directory searcher and the result  was less than 50 percent less than the time taken for Get-aduser. But in below script total time taken is more than three hours where as in VB and Perl it takes less than 20 minutes for the

  • GRC 10.0 Access Request Creation- Data Source of User Details

    Hi Experts,
    I was doing GRC 10.0 Configuration and found a query which I am not able to resolve.
    While creation of any kind of Access Request in GRC through NWBC> Acces Management Tab>Access Request>Access Request Creation.
    In the user details section, I can see the HR records( like Pernr, position, manager) have been visible to some extent.
    My question is where from these details came in GRC. What configuration we should maintain to achieve these HR records?
    Hope to get a quick response as this is one of the requirement of the implementation which I am doing with my customer.

    Thanks for your response. It helped me to know certain things.
    But when I am navigating to SPRO > GRC > Access Control > Maintain Data Sources Configuration > [User Detail Data Source], it is configured with a ECC system in target connector and User data type is maintained as "SU01".
    Now my question is where from in my case the GRC is pulling the HR records (PA20) like PERNR, POSITION,PERSONEL AREA etc? SU01 does not provide these information. My ECC box is integrated with HR module, so is it taking the data from HR directly?

  • ARQ: User details fields mappings problem in Access Request

    Dear All,
    My "User Search Data Sources" are: HR system and LDAP (in this order) and
    "User Details Data Sources" are: HR system, LDAP, GRC Production system and ERP Development system (in this order)
    I could search for the users in HR and LDAP systems correctly. However, the problems I am facing are:
    1. For some users, First Name, Last Name and Email id fields are not getting mapped. Though they are correctly shown in search screen of ARQ. This
        behavior is sporadic and not sure why this is not mapped for some of the users only. But for other users, they are getting mapped correclty!
    2. For some other users selected users from the search result, First Name, Last Name and Email id fields are correctly mapped. However, "Manager" field is empty and not mapped! Though they are correctly maintained in HR system.
    Any idea why this is behaving like this and how to solve this?

    I could figure out something.
    I have below hierarchy in Active Directory:
    1. OU=Unit1,OU=ABC,DC=123,DC=COM
    2. OU=Unit2, OU=XYZ,DC123,DC=COM
    Unit1 and Unit2 are peers, fall under DC "123" and contain different sub-nodes and users. What is happening is that, if a user and his manager are from same OU (Unit1 for example), it is pulled appropriately.
    In case if a user is in Unit1 and manager is in Unit2, then in this case, manager first and last name is pulled and Manager id field is not filled.
    I could only maintain one of the above entries in LDAP tcode. I dont know how I can maintain peer-OUs in LDAP!
    When I maintained like this:
    OU=Unit1,OU=ABC,DC=123,DC=COM;OU=Unit2, OU=XYZ,DC123,DC=COM
    It give me error: "Entry does not exist".
    It is looking for only one node at at time but can not traverse in multiple peer nodes.
    CAn anyone suggest me on this?

  • Making Manager field in user details tab mandatory in GRC 10

    While raising the GRC Access request, I would like to make the Manager field madatory to be filled.  What is happening now,, the requestor is raising the request without manager field filled, and its not able to find the manager as per the route and the request get cancelled.
    Is there a option to modify the field to make it mandatory by red asterik as its there for other fields in user details tab.

    Hi ,
    Please Navigate to IMG > Governance, Risk and Compliance >  Access Control > User Provisioning > Maintain End User Personalization.
    There are four columns of fields that can be maintained:
    -  Default value
    - Mandatory
    - Editable
    - Visible
    By Choosing YES or NO from the dropdown list under the Mandatory field, any field on the Access Request screen can be made mandatory.

  • User details are not populating in access request

    Hello All,
    We have configured GRC 10 with LDAP and we are able to search the users in LDAP tcode(find option) and in the access request. But when i select the user and click on ok in the access request, user information is not populating to user details tab. I have followed the SAP Standard doc and configuration is fine. When i select data source as SAP system, user details are population as expected. But when i use LDAP as data source, i am having the issue. I hope this is an field mapping issue but i tried all different options but no solution i found. Kindly help me with your expert suggestions.
    Field mapping is as follows:
    LASTNAME
    SN
    FIRSTNAME
    GIVENNAME
    USERID
    SAMACCOUNTNAME
    ROLE_NAME
    NAME
    MEMBER_OF
    MEMBEROF
    EMAIL

  • GRC 10 - Legacy connector as user detail data source

    Hello, 
    I'm trying to use a legacy connector (with a text file as input) as a user data-source.
    Repository user sync for this legacy connector works : checked GRACUSER table, it is populated with all the user details from the input file (id,firstname,lastname,mail,department,phone
    I got it working for user search data source : when creating an access request for "other" user, searching for a user ID/name works : data are displayed in search result, however when I select the user from the serach result the user details are not populated in an access-request form.
    Any clue about this ? Any one already got this working ?
    GRC 10.0 SP13.
    Checked SP14 and SP15 release notes, and found no relevant notes yet.

    You only have confirmed that 2 accounts are maintained in HCM and in SU01 as well, so you would be able to see these accounts' details both ways.
    Yes, you are right about user account maintenance first in HCM at the time of new hire, then you can manually raise the access request to grant them access to various SAP systems. Or in order to automate this process as Prasahant suggested, you can take help from HR Triggers.

    But responding to your original discussion, whatever user accounts are maintained in HCM you would see those details provided you define HR for the "user search data source" AND from SU01 for "user detail data source"
    In your case you have 2 accounts which have been maintained in HCM as well as SU01, so that is what creating confusion for you.
