User directory-move does not run.
I moved the user directory to a second hd. Inside the user settings (right-click on the username) i maintained the new path.
OS X confirmed it and shows the standard home icon to the new directory, but every new file or directory will be saved to the old location to /users/username.
From my point of view, here we have a bug.
I didn't change my shortcut.
But after your answer, i switched off and switched on again the shortcuts and now it runs. From my point of view it is a little bit crazy, because the previous OS X versions didn't need such kind of steps.

Mdt 2012 sp1 command line does not run from task sequence
Hi,
I am hoping I can explain this correctly. I am using MDT 2012 and having an issue with running command lines, powershell and batch files that I setup.
The task sequence is set to use an account called "MDTService". it has rights to join the domain but is not in the local admin group of the reference image. a domain GPO renames the local admin account CoAdmin.
when running a command line to, for example, run xcopy a folder and subdirectories to the "program Files x86" directory, it does not copy.
When I log on to the system and use an admin account to manually run the command I do not have an issue. if I log onto the system with the MDTService user and run it, it fails.
How do I get the commands to run from the MDT task sequence? I do not want to make the MDTService user an admin. I have tried the run as option in the task sequence but that did not work. maybe is set it wrong. I used a domain\Admin
account which did not work.
what can I clarify or logs can I post to provide more details.

I hope to start a list for apps (esp games) that does not run after the ICS update.
Kindly list the game name along with the error. Hopefully its not off topic.Since many of us having issues with gaming [both HD and Non-HD] after updating to ICS, so i decided to share a little bit of info regarding gaming performance in ICS.
For the gaming troubles we are not yet sure whom to blame? SONY, ICS or the Game developer.
1. Few game developers said that their 3D engine is not yet compatible with ICS.
2. No response from Google yet.
3. Sony was suppose to update their Graphics driver [Adreno] in ICS, so we were expecting better gaming experience, but in reality it declined. [Hoping to solve in 4.0.4, if SONY releases]
Remember Gaming performance and experience can be different depending on device, application version etc. Results stated below may not be same for all.
Few Gaming updates from different users:
# Angry Birds Space : For some it worked/some not working [Worked for me]
# Temple Run : Touch Control issues [ Game Developers said that their 3D engine is not yet compatible with ICS]
# Fruit Ninja: Some reported it lags. The speed of movement is slow.
# Asphalt 6HD : Works but some weird lines appears in the screen.
# NOVA 2 HD : Runs for 2-3 mins then force closes.
# Backstab HD : Runs for 2-3 mins then force closes.
# Dead Space : Working well till now.
# MW3: Working.
# Fifa 12 : Not working for me.
# Shadow Gun: Not Working.
Now it was advised that you must use the latest version of the games available in Google play store. The version worked in Gingerbread may not work in ICS. So it is recommended that you download the latest version of the games you want to play in ICS.
**Before Downloading you can also contact the developers if the games has any compatibility issues with ICS or not.

If tape information is valid, use --ignoremismatch option.
I've tried using the "ignore key mismatch" button, tried entering --ignoremismatch in the options line with no positive results. Our catalog directory has remained intact so I would not expect any issues with keys. Anyone know exactly what this error means and have any suggestions how to get around it?

REPORT DOES NOT RUN CORRECTLY , URGENT PLEASE HELP
Hi,
I am trying to run a report from visul basic screen, but it does not run correctly. Here is how I am running the report. There is a screen developed in VB This screen prompts the user for user id and password. Once it gets that, it connects to the oracle database and pulls out a column from a table. And passes that value as a parameter to the report. Now I am calling the the report for each individual value . There are 21 value being pulled out of the database and it invokes the report 21 times. So there are 21 report engines gets started. Is there a better way to do that ? Secondly when I pass the parameter , some parameters does not pass correctly I guess , because its not generating any out put . Like out of 21 may be 10 or 11 reports gets generated correctly but rest of the reports are blank. I debug the screen i saw that the parameter value is correct, everything seems good. FerozThe way you call reports is not scalable. If you have 100 records come back from database, you would end up launch 100 engines at the same times, which probably will blow up your machine. You should use oracle reports server to do that. You can either use rwcli60 to submit the job to reports server, or invoke rwcgi60 from URL.
I am afraid some of reports engine failed to start and you get nothing back in your case.
After switch to use reports server achitecture, if you still see some report is blank in your application, then you can run that report with that special set of parameters manually and see if any problem with the report itself.

User defined fields does not get added into database , when i click add button it
shows data added sucessfully , but when i check data base no entry is made , only entry is made for
B1 fields , like DocEntry ,DocNum etc.., no entry is made for U_fields..
I have check every thing databound is also set to true
Actually first few 6 data was added properly but now its not geeting added for user fields
I have used 2 document row child table for 2 matrix and for remaining Document table

I installed SSRS on an existing instance. Configured SSRS using report manager, loaded some reports and they work as expected.
The problem is I can not launch(IE) Report Manager UI due to error in description. I can launch the Report Manager IF I RUN IE AS ADMINISTRATOR. The details of error from SSRS log file listed below.
The main page SSRS page starts to display. The display starts with "Home | my subscriptions |site Settings..." in upper right side, and "SQL Server Reporting Services" in upper left. Then the error displays
User 'SSRS_SERVER\SSRS_user1' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed.
Starting IE as administrator starts the Report Manager with out problems.

I do specify the main class in both, the Manifest file and the Info.plist file, in the correct way, "package.MainClass". Is there another place where I need to specify it?
Why do I need org/bouncycastle/asn1/DEREnumerated.class, and how would I have to specify it in Manifest?
I also posted these questions at Mac Programming at forums.macrumors.com and at Xcode-users Mailing List at lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo, but I did not get any answer.

Setup.exe file does not run after the download

I am unable to run the setup.exe file in Disk1 directory. I think we need more information on how to install the server. Please help us ASAP.I found out that besides setting the library, I should also set the classpath.
I tried to set the classpath by setting the environment variable CLASSPATH: path1.jar; path2.jar; path3.jar.
I also tried to set it with the command prompt:
CLASSPATH = path1.jar; path2.jar; path3.jar.
But when double clicking on my .exe file, it still does not run and I still get the NoClassDefFoundError.

I installed OIM Microsoft Active Directory Connector 9.1.1.7.0 successfully but for copying ldap i had to run uploadjars.bat utility but it does not run.... Please help
That's more like it. Check the directory from where you are running uploadJars.sh, this directory should have setEnv.sh script also. You should be running the uploadJARS.sh from <IDM_HOME>\server\bin . Have you copied it from the <IDM_HOME>\server\bin to any different location and trying to run it from there?
Same goes for .bat files too.

Adobe Media Server Installer does not run
I am trying to install Adobe Media Server 5 on Windows 2008 R2 64 bit on i3 logged in as an administarive user over RDP.
The installer simply does not run - a very short hourglass then nothing. Not logs in applicaiton, system of setup logs.
The bundled Adobe Media Gateway installer runs just fine.
Tried a machine restart, and still no go...

This was because I downloaded it on another machine, and then copied it over. Windows 2008 knew it had not been made locally and silently blocked execution. -

I am attempting to run an Applescript from a Mail rule. Basically, the Applescript does not run.
Stripped to the bare essentials, the following script runs fine when Applying a rule in Mail:

I am trying to go as far as having the Applescript create a new ToDo based on specific incoming emails, but I can't get any but the simplest Applescript to run.

TomThe script works just fine - at least, as designed if not as expected.
When the script runs, Mail and/or AppleScript looks for a perform mail action handler. If that is found, the commands within are executed.
If there is no perform mail action handler then the script is run as-is (i.e. as if you clicked 'Run' in AppleScript Editor).
And that's exactly what's happening here. In the first case (that works) the script is running because there's no (visible) perform mail action handler.
In the second case where it apparently doesn't work, there is a handler, so that handler is being executed. Any code outside that handler is ignored (unless it's called from within the perform mail action handler.
Since your 'say' command is outside the handler, it is ignored. However, if you move it inside the perform mail action handler you'll hear your speech. -
FRM-40800: User exit FND does not exist.
Situation:
I use Windows XP client - for development
Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.28.0 (Production)
The APPS server is on the Linux (RedHat):
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
Apps version: 11.5.10.2
What I dis:
- installed Oracle Forms on Windows XP
- loaded JTFGRDMD.fmb in Forms with APPSTAND.fmb, FNDSCSGN.fmb
- loaded loaded all the PL/SQL libraries and recompile them for Windows
When I run JTFGRDMD I receive no compilation error but when the form run, I receive "FRM-40800: User exit FND does not exist.".
Does anybody have an ideea why I get this error ?

However I need to do a customization on the form and test it (on Windows) before deloying it to the apps server(on Linux).Do the customization at the client side, make sure the forms compile and run successfully, then copy the fmb file to the server and compile it. By doing this, you should be able to run the form from the application.
Under Forms (on Windows) I connect using apps/apps.When you compile the form on the server side, you will have also to provide the apps username/password, so the concept is the same. Do you still have an issue when accessing the form after compiling it on the server? If yes, then obtain the FRD file and post the contents of the file here (search the forum for FRD 11i).

Sometimes the Insertion Point in the NOTES app vanishes and I have to quit Notes to gte it back. Anyone else having this problem? Its a bug..
