I have a shell script which will send the data to DOC1 and receive the pdf file.
Can you please help me to plug in the script as a user exit when the user clicks the display bill?
Please let me know if i can find any document which i can refer for the same.

User Exit Program works Differently

I'm trying to sync user info from HCM system to a destination system. There is a limitation in SAP HCM system, which allows only full load and not incrememental load or sync up based on events(New Joinee, Position change, Employee Exit) to happen from source to destination. So, I thought User exit could fix this issue.
When a person inserts or changes or changes the status of an employee to quit through PA30 and saves it, the user exit program should pass the personnel number (numbers) of the user(s) as input to the report RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM.
I am trying to trigger a report(RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM) which exports the data from HCM to a destination system(IDM) with the help of a user exit program. Using PA30 when I change the user info and when I save it, through User exit program I'm passing the personnel number of the user(whose data has been changed) as an input to the report, which inturn will replicate the change to the destination.
Problem:
User Exit works differently here. After configuring User exit for this tcode(PA30), once I change a user's info and click save, without saving the data, it triggers the User exit program. Usaully while chanign user info, when I click 'SAVE', i get a message 'Recod changed', but now after sonfiguring User Exit program, since the program runs immediately as soon as i click SAVE, I see the following message' Successfully exported Data to the destination' . And the change that i make is not reflected.
Shouldn't the User Exit program be triggerred after the data is saved?
Is there a way where I can trigger the User Exit Program after saving the record.

Not an ABAP expert, but I remember hearing something about PAI and PBO modules and separate user exit includes depending on where you are executing it. Is it worth investigating on these lines?
Also is it worthwhile configuring Change Pointers to capture whether a change has been made instead of coding user exits in PA30. You could code uxerexits in the ALE data transfer program to analyse the data based on change pointers and transfer data pertaining to New Joinees etc.
Again I am not ALE epxert, I am just giving my views For what they are worth. For better results perhaps you should post in ABAP forum.

How to use subroutine in user-exit program

Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement in user-exit where i have to use some lines of code in several times. So i want to use Perform and perform inside the exit (i.e. Include ZXXX). But it is not recognizing the form part of the ubroutime and gives error.
             Please let me know how to use the Perform and form statement in the exit or is there any way to write repeated code once but used no of times in exit program.

I'm sorry, I was overly harsh there. Please accept my apologies. But I do despair sometime!
Consider the structure of a function group and it should be clear - you need to remember that INCLUDES are just repositories of code. If you take the contents out of the include and put them into the main program, then this is what you get:
function-pool xrsr.
* Global data definition.
function exit_saplrrs0_001.
* the source code within the zxrsru01 include.
endfunction.
Now, what you're trying to do, is create a form in your include. You can't do that, because you end up with:
function-pool xrsr.
* Global data definition.
function exit_saplrrs0_001.
perform xyz.
form xyz.
endform.
endfunction.
And you can't have a FORM defined inside a function module definition. The solution is to put it outside the function module. If you follow the process suggested above, you end up with
function-pool xrsr.
* Global data definition.
function exit_saplrrs0_001.
perform xyz.
endfunction.
form xyz. " This will be in LXRSRF01
endform.
Do you see how it works now?

          We are having the challenging in performing posting to multiple G/L accounts per shipment. This is required, for example, if customer, interplant, and/or inbound orders are combined onto one shipment.
         We found this BADI that allows system to work the way we want; however, BADI is not support in 4.5B.
         This BADI is linked to enhancement LMR1M002 and function module MR_ACCOUNT_ASSIGMENT. Please refer to note 64204.
         Please advise, I am looking something similar that work in SAP 4.5B.

Screen user exit : program sapmv45a screen 8309

Hi,
I added fields to screen 8309 , but in the flow logic of the screen 8309 system is not allowing any code(call modules) to write ( i already given the access key and designed the screen) .
when i searched forums i came to one command

USER EXIT - Sample Program or Material

Finding the User Exit:
Code SE18 is used to Identify the BADI available.
Look for the string 'CL_EXITHANDLER' in the standard program. This is a class which has a method 'GET_INSTANCE' which is used to trigger BADI's from the Standard Program. The interface parameter for this static method 'EXIT_NAME' is used to pass the BADI to the method.
Open Standard Program and do a global search 'CL_EXITHANDLER'.
SE18 > give the BADI name found through above search.
CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA > which has a method SAVE_DATA.
T.Code SE19 is used to Implement BADI.
SE19 > give the implementation name > Give the Definition name as CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA and the Short Text.
User Exit
Exits are basically the hooks whcih SAP has provided to add your own code. There are two types of Exits:
1. Customer exits: Implemented as Function Modules within z includes. Anybody can change it and no access key is required.
2. User Exit: Implemented as subroutines within includes (any include except y or z includes). You need access for the specific include and then you can any subroutine (user exit) within that Include.
BADIs are the enhanced version of user exits where the same logic is implemented via classes and object (OOP)
Enchancement point is the latest once introduces with ECC6.0 . Not very sure about that but you can change it without any access key.

Field Exit
If you are in 4.7 and up follow this
1. Run report RSMODPRF
2. Run on the selection screen
3. In list Field Exit > Create
4. Give your data element
5.System will generate the FM FIELD_EXIT_XXXXX
6. Activate it.
7. Select your field exit and assign to your program and screen
8. Select again .. Field exit > Activate
If you are in version below 4.7
1. CMOD
2. Go to >Text enhancment > Field exit
then follow the same step from 3 onwards as given above.
Menu Exit
Procedure for Creating MENU Exits.
1) To get into Area Menu Maintenance Screen Type SE43 T.Code in Command
Line.
2) In Area Menu Paramenter type 'S000' (S triple Zero)
3) Then Press Change Icon in Application Tool Bar. Then It may ask for
Access Key or it may display "Specify Processing mode" window. If it ask
for the Access Key Check for the availability of OSS Note and apply to open
Standard SAP Menu to include MENU Exits. Otherwise, if it display "Specify
Processing mode" window with Three Push Button. In which select "Change" and
proceed further.
4) Then it will display "Information" window with the following information
"Caution : The Original Language of the structure is German (editing lang. :
English) ". Then press "Enter Key to proceed further.
5) Then you will get into "Edit Area Menu S000".
6) for eg:- Expand Tools Menu.
7) Then Press ABAP Workbench <Icon>.
8) Then you will get into ABAP Workbench Menu Tree.
9) Then Expand Utilities Menu.
10) In the last line you will find one MENU EXIT Provision to include your
own menu. "Node Text Not Found" This text can be change by double Clicking
that. There you can find the T.Code. Here for Eg:- "+DW4".
11) for eg: - Here change the Text to "Sample Menu Exit" and then note down
the T.Code "+DW4".
12) Then Save with Change Request Number and come out of Transaction SE43.
13) Then Goto Transaction SE93.
14) Then type T.Code "+DW4" and press Create.
15) Then proceed further to create transaction called "+DW4".

Enhancement/Modifications
1) Execute tcode SMOD to find available enhancement/modifications.
2) Create a project for the enhancement in tcode CMOD.
3) You must activate your project first in order to hit a break-point or get into debug mode for your existing enhancements/modifications, if you do not, the best you will be able to do is step through the main program until you hit the call for that particular customer enhancement.
4) To get into debug, you can enter a hard break-point in the enhancement itself, set a soft break-point with the stop sign, or the long way, before you execute your transaction or while you are in your transaction, you can place a /h in the ok code area (this is the area of your gui where you can type in a tcode). Once you have the /h, hit enter and that will take you into debug, from there, you can do many different things to find exactly what you are looking for.
User Exits
1) Identify the main program you want to locate a user exit/debug.
2) For example, go to SE80 and do a search by program or dev class (SAPMV45A sales order or Dev Class VMOD, most SD user exits are in this dev class). In SE80 if you go by program, most user exit programs end in a 'Z' on a rare occasion 'X' or 'Y'.
3) If you are looking at including MV45AFZZ, you can see where there are different forms. These forms will get called at times within the program. If you are looking to fill the storage location on the sales order, you will probably want to take a look at the perform that fills in a field in vbap.
4) If this is what you are trying to accomplish, you will need to do the select against the config Table TVKOL based on the shipping point/plant and possibly storage condition based on your picking strategies.

User Exit for XD02 in Sales area data in Sales tab

I have a problem . I need help .
The requirement is
In XD01 transaction , In Sales area data, In Sales tab i need to add a Check box which i already have added.This check box refers to KNVV table-Zflag
In VA01 transaction , In menu goto -> header -> Sales , In Additional data B .
I have another Check box. This check box refers to Vbaktable-Zflag .
<b>I need the code and exact locations where to put this to get my issue resolved which is given below in Functional Description</b>.

   Our custom logic will be initiated once the Sold-to Party (VBAK-KUNNR) is entered for any order type. When the sold-to party is entered the user exit program will check table KNVV for the custom field ZFLAG that corresponds to the Print Prices on Delivery Note flag (hereafter referred to as the Pricing Flag) and populate the same setting of the flag into the ZFLAG that will be on the Additional data B tab on a sales order at the header. The user can manually change VBAK-ZFLAG Pricing Flag setting to something different than what is populated for the customer master level.
If the user happens to change the sold-to party for any reason then the user exit program should take the following approach when populating the ZFLAG Pricing Flag in a sales order:
-     Recheck the ZFLAG Pricing Flag setting in the customer master for the sold-to party that the user has newly selected.
The user will still have the option to manually ZFLAG Pricing Flag on a sales order after the user exit program defaults it.

Debugging a User Exit

Hi

Help in user exit...urgent

hi friends,
i have to find user exit for the following purpose in FI module....
While making the Down payment to vendor via T.code F-48, we have to validate the field BKPF- XBLNR. The entry in this field should be either PO number or Service entry sheet. rest should no enter...by validating....

Hello to all,
You can have this control by using substitution through obbh. First you need to copy the substition user exit program to a Z* program. Go to GCX2 to customize the program name that is used in substitution. Then copy(SE38) the program name for "Val/sub:Exits for substitution" to a Z program then maintain this customizing table with newly created Z* prog. (ZGGBS*****) .
Then you have chance to change the userexit source codes in substituion. After you copy program and maintain this customizing table , please go to OBBH to maintain the substitution. Create a subs. or create a step for existing subs. When you create a step, a pop up appears and asks you to select the subs. field, select only exit. Then assign U100 or U900. for exit.
After that maintain the subs condition for example BKPF-TCODE = 'F-48' and then the program enters to your user exit which is a part of your copied program in the beginning steps above. Then you can control any data with database tables , because most of the fields of bseg and bkpf structures are filled before this exit. then you can compere your XBLNR field with PO tables. You need an ABAPer to do it if you are not familier with abap .
