User Exits - PR - Re-trigger Approval

Due to the standard of the approval process, the PR only re-trigger the approval process if Price Higher or New release strategies.
However, is it possible to create the user exits to control / re-trigger the approval process, if the Quantity fields or additional item line is add.

Hi,
It is not just price.
Qty change or a line item addition can change the value of the PR.
In that case also you can triggera re-release.
This is controlled by release indicator and the % change that you allow for the change.

User exit does not trigger

I have a user exit named MWMTO001.
It has been given like this will trigger at the end of the transfer order creation (Update task). wt i have done here is i activated the user-exit and when i try to create the TO its not getting stopped over the user-exit and here i didn't understand wt is mean by update task.

Hi Swetha,
After activating the function module exit we have to include the enhancement package in a project though transaction cmod.
You create a project and add the enhancement to the enhancement assignments of the project and activate it. ensure a green light box will appear next to the components.
If this is not the reason you can go to debug mode at runtime by /h and create a runtime breakpoint at statement 'Call customer-function' and see if the program stops at the any customer exit or not and if it includes the one you have created.
You will press /h on the screen from where you will move to the final screen where you need your exit to trigger.

What are the user-exits which will trigger on saving Sales Order

Hello Experts!!!
I am working on Sales Order VA01. The requirement is I need to pre populate Sold-to-Party field. I find out user-exit (V45A0002 Predefine sold-to party in sales document ). So it is working fine.
Now second requirement is I need to capture all the date once user saves Sales Order. Also the time or Sales Order creation I have to make u2018GRAYu2019 some of the fields so user cannot change the value. Can anybody tell me which user-exits should I use to retrieve the entire information user entered and lock fields in Sales Order screen?

U can't find it there,because it's a include, not enanchement.
So u need to use the trx SE38, not CMOD.
For sales ored there aren't the enanchements, but only some FORMs defined in particular includes.
U need to get the access key by OSS in order to change them.

User Exit/Badi for CATS

Hi Experts,
Our requirement is to trigger an email notification to the Employee after his time sheet is approved using the CATS approval WF.
We are using the portal to raise the time sheet and approve the same. We want to determine a User Exit/ Badi when the approver clicks on the approved button in the UWL.
We tried looking into the user exits/badi's etc. given but they are defined only for the R/3 system using the CATS transaction and not via the portals.
Could you kindly guide us with any Badi/User Exit that could be used when it is approved via the portal (i.e) when the approver clicks on the approve button in the UWL.

Hi,
Are you sure that those possible badis or user exit that you found are not also for Portal? Many times there is no difference whether something is done from backend transaction or a portal application - finally the same code/function is used and thus the same badis & user exits are executed. Of course not always, but plenty of times.
If if you cannot find anything, please check also the possibility to use enhancement. Check which RFC function is called during the approval (put RFC trace on) and put a break point there, and see what the code does and if you could put your stuff into some place.
Pay attention also the CATSDB table. That includes the cats entries and if remember correctly, you can find the work item ID there for each CATS entry. Maybe you can build some kind of report based on this table to send the emails instead of using some user exit or whatever.

Does cats enhancement user exit CATS0003 will trigger initially at the time of loading the data entry page (record working time screen) in ess? so that before entering the time itself users will get to know that they need to fill previous weeks time before continuing,
experts pls confirm.

If you want the end user to know what attributes to save time on, Try to make use of template
or A worklist!
Other than this you can just use Default values from Cac1 and Infotype 0315, Just check the docs
on this
Also a simple cats0002 can be used to supplement the recorded data

i have got an issue with finding of user exit for transaction code cbih82.
my functional consultant want me to go for exit CBIH_LB39_UE_POST_COMMIT (se37) but i cont find any user exit in this function module as it is triggering when i click on save at cbih82 in debugging.
but i cont find any user exit in this CBIH_LB39_UE_POST_COMMIT.

User exit U935 in Mod. Pool RGGBS000 not executing in Parallel Processing

Hi,
Settlement of IO (KO88) is not successful in parallel processing mode.
While doing Settlement of IOs (KO88) in parallel processing mode, I am getting an error on account assignment object. CO account assignment in OKC9, an user exit U935 is maintained and this user exit is used in Mod.Pool RGGBS000.
When running the settlement in normal mode, the program is running through this user exit and settlement is successful. But in prallel processing mode, looks like the settlement program is not executing / by passing the user exit and errs out with CO object assignment.
How can we make the settlement execute through the user exit in parallel processing mode?

If the user exit supposed to trigger thru substitution (GGB1), then check whether active status is 1 in OKC9. Just a wild guess....
