User mapping error
Hi friends,
When i am creating new user in EP or try to do user mapping, i am getting error :
An error occurred in the persistence, contact your administrator.
Note : I have installed ECC6.0 and EP both on same system(laptop).
please help me...
Regards,
Mihir Sharma
Hi,
If you want to create users from EP, there is way.
Login to ecc system with sapjsf user and use the SU01 T-code and change the role of sapjsf user
reason why you are not able to create is by default sapjsf user have Read Only access that is the reason you are not able to create users from EP.
SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO change the role to SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION
Thanks,
Sreeni.

User mapping error: NO systems available for the selected principal
I have a problem related to User mapping. After creating system alias, I mapped my j2ee_admin user successfully. Then I created 15 more users and when I click usermapping for all of them, it is not displaying the system alias. It is giving error "There are no systems available for user mapping for the selected principal"
I cannot understand that when I click connection test, it is successful. The user mapping for j2ee_admin user is working. But when I try to do the same for other users, it is not displaying the system alias and giving me the above error.
Can anybody guide me through the error. I have given "Everyone" role to all the 15 users. Any kind of help will be appreciated and points will be rewarded.Hello Abdul,
This is a permission problem. Open the permission editor of the system and assign any role/group in the permission editor and select the checkbox corresponding to end-user.
Now assign this role/group to all the users.
It will solve ur problem.

Portal Runtime Error while performing User Mapping to SAP SRM
Please find below the error I received while User Mapping from Enterprise Portal to SAP SRM :

Exception id: 04:21_23/06/05_0073_8097650
See the details for the exception ID in the log fileHi,
yes, Karsten is correct. Just some background:
"User Mapping not fully available.." finally means that user mapping is configured to use strong encryption, but the main crypto key for user mapping is missing. Usually, that's because "SAP Java Cryptographic Toolkit" and/or "JCE policy files for unlimited strength encryption" are not installed (or the server hasn't be restarted afterwards). The note will most likely help

Hi All,
I have created a system from Application integrator PAR file and has added on extrafield to the system as I have three fields to be mapped with the target application.
On doing so when I try to preview the iView using this system for connecting the target application I am getting the following error.

I dont know what to write in place of the bold portion.
I have added the extra mapping field with the name Repository
I tried MappedRepository also that is also not working can sombody please help. I am getting null at the target application end for this extra field rest of the two I am able to recieve.
Regards
SidHi Sid,
your template does not work because Repository is no standard parameter. You have to use a custom provider for this parameter. Refer to chapter 6 (Making Parameter Dynamic) of document <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/bf8cc890-0201-0010-00b1-8d04e5f4378a">"How to Use the Application Integrator"</a>.
Basically, you have to write a portal service which provides the parameter at runtime. If I understood you right the parameter Repository has to be set by the user in the user mapping dialog. Thus you can access the value using the IUserMappingService See the SAP Library for an <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/69/3482ee0d70492fa63ffe519f5758f5/frameset.htm">Example</a>.

Error in User Mapping with SR1 Package
Hi
I have installed the SR1 Package for Web AS and EP.
While trying to achieve User Mapping the following error is being displayed
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView : pcd:portal_content/administrator/super_admin/super_admin_role/com.sap.portal.user_administration/com.sap.portal.user_mapping/com.sap.portal.userMappingAdmin/com.sap.portal.userMappingAdmin
Component Name : com.sap.portal.usermanagement.admin.UserMappingAdmin
User Mapping not fully available..
Exception id: 02:08_12/07/05_0005_4483250
Has anyone come across with this problem?
Also the 'Personalize' link on the Portal is not working.
I have come across the same problem on two machines in which the SR1 package has been installed.
Please respond if there is a solution.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
PriyaHi Priya,
I'm glad to hear that you have solved your problem on your own, but not so glad to see that you did not check the mentioned links! ;-(
If you would have, then you would have seen that you've done exactly what I mentioned in that thread. But more important, that this is the easiest way to solve the problem but not at all the safest and therefor NOT RECOMMENDED by SAP. I would also rather suggest to solve this problem by installing and using the unlimited strength jurisdiction policy files from Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Maybe you take your time and read the Note and the mentioned links so that you're informed about the security risks.
Regards,

Whenever I try to map a user I get an error. I go to

select them, select the system, enter the information,
click save, and then I receive this error.

If someone can help that would be appreciated. Or if you can tell me where I can find the log file. I haven't been able to find that either.
ThanksThere are no *.par.err files. I couldn't see anything in the console logs, other than startup and shutdown information. Something else to note is that this has worked before. I have mapped a user before. This has only started recently. As far a I know there have been no changes to the configuration, or any new installs to the server.
I found a portalapp.xml file that exists under the com.sap.portal.ivs.systemlandscapeservice directory. Here is the section from that file that talks about the landscape editor.

Hello,
I have created a mapping E2X_SLSRPT_UN_D96A as we didnt have the standard mapping(See_) from Seeburger
In my scenario when I give hardcoded mapping name ,it works fine,so I assume mapping is correctly created and deployed.
But I need to use it with splitter, and in doing so,I am getting this error:
Message initiation failed: Adapter call failed. Reason: --- Conversion of synchronous request from module chain ended with errors ---Error: [Error:ID=not set;LEVEL=1] Fatal error in user mapping ... java.lang.StackOverflowError at com.seeburger.jucon.dochandler.SegmentDescription.semanticCheck(SegmentDescription.java:444) at com.seeburger.jucon.dochandler.SegmentDescription.semanticCheck(SegmentDescription.java:460) at com.seeburger.jucon.dochandler.SegmentDescription.semanticCheck(SegmentDescription.java:460) at com.seeburger.jucon.dochandler.InhouseDocReader.doSyntaxCheck(InhouseDocReader.java:1555) at com.seeburger.jucon.dochandler.InhouseDocReader.moveNext(InhouseDocReader.java:1852) at com.seeburger.jucon.dochandler.EdifactDocReader.moveNext(EdifactDocReader.java:457) at com.seeburger.jucon.dochandler.InhouseDocReader.moveNext(InhouseDocReader.java:1859) at com.seeburger.jucon.dochandler.EdifactDocReader.moveNext

classifier showInAuditLog true
bic destSourceMsg MainDocument
bic destTargetMsg MainDocument
bic logAttID ConverterLog
bic mappingName AUTO
bic saveSourceMsg ORIGINAL_EDI
bic split true
splitter mode ASYNC
splitter transaction MESSAGE
The same configuration works fine with ORDERS message.
Also,I have configured same mapping name in Splitter section in Seeburger Workbench.
Has anyone encountered this error before?
Kindly let me know
Thanks.
Regards,
ShwetaHi,
I understand that you need to use Custom mapping for your EDIFACT Message...
Then did you created the generic mapping with Clasasifier ID...i.e ABC_edifact... (By default it will be See_Edifact)
so you need to create the generic mapping by Name provided in classifier ID of settings then....
need to create the child mapping in such a way that it calls the same (developed one...)
in default cases See_Edifact frames the child mapping name to be called based on the messages received ...
similarly your generic mapping need to call your child mapping....
Hope this clears you
Rajesh -
Hi,
We have recently moved our production servers and since the move have been experiencing an intermittent (but frequent) error when processing our OLAP cube.
The error messages presented are:
"Error: The following error occurred during a file operation: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open"
"Error: Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while processing index for the <Partition Name> partition of the <Measure Group Name> measure group of the <Cube Name> cube from the <Database Name> database"
I assume the second message is a consequence of the first error. The partitions and measure groups seem to vary each time the process is run.
It appears from similar threads that this is usually caused by backups or anti-virus applications locking the files that Analysis Services is using the process the cube. I have ensured that there are no backups running at the time of processing and
I have disabled anti-virus programs without success.
I have also created a new version of the cube (using the deployment wizard) which deployed without error but then encountered the same error when processing for a second time. There was nothing (client application wise) using this cube when it failed
to process.
As I mentioned earlier, this problem is intermittent. Sometimes the cube will successfully process but usually it fails to process.
We have not encountered this error in our previous production environment or in any of our development environments.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any suggestions on possible solutions?
Thanks
RichHi jonesri,
I think you can try to use SSAS Dynamic Management View to monitor SSAS instance, such as existing connections and sessions. For example, please run the following MDX query:
SELECT[SESSION_COMMAND_COUNT],
[SESSION_CONNECTION_ID],
[SESSION_CPU_TIME_MS],
[SESSION_CURRENT_DATABASE],
[SESSION_ELAPSED_TIME_MS],
[SESSION_ID],
[SESSION_IDLE_TIME_MS],
[SESSION_LAST_COMMAND],
[SESSION_LAST_COMMAND_CPU_TIME_MS],
[SESSION_LAST_COMMAND_ELAPSED_TIME_MS],
[SESSION_LAST_COMMAND_END_TIME],
[SESSION_LAST_COMMAND_START_TIME],
[SESSION_PROPERTIES],[SESSION_READ_KB],
[SESSION_READS],[SESSION_SPID],
[SESSION_START_TIME],[SESSION_STATUS],
[SESSION_USED_MEMORY],
[SESSION_USER_NAME],
[SESSION_WRITE_KB],
[SESSION_WRITES]
FROM $SYSTEM.DISCOVER_SESSIONS
Use Dynamic Management Views (DMVs) to Monitor Analysis Services:

In addition, you can aslo use SQL Profiler to capture some events for further investigation.

ImranHello Imran,
When you install EP you have 2 options: "Weak Encryption" and "Strong Encryption".
If you choose the "Weak Encryption" option (as most of us do in development systems...),
you should update a certain UME property, in order to avoid errors in user mapping.
If that is the case:
1. Navigate to <i>System Administration</i> -> <i>System Configuration</i> -> <i>UM Configuration</i>
2. Choose the tab <i>Direct Editing</i>
3. Set the property <i>ume.usermapping.unsecure</i> to TRUE.
4. Save all changes
5. Restart the J2EE engine.
Hope that helps,

Please help.
SriramThis was also discussed several days ago in this forum - please search the forum before posting.
Did you install the strong encryption libraries? Without those libraries then usermapping cannot be stored securly in the DB and thus you see the error - by default ume.usermapping.unsecure is set to false, for VERY GOOD REASON. If you allow unsecure usermapping the the user/pwd data is stored in BASE64 strings in the DB - this is hardly secure.
Only set ume.usermapping.unsecure to true in non-productive environments.
