Using a TSA in own signature handler

Good day,
Can someone help me with the steps involve in creating using a TSA inside a custom signature handler api?
When I set the TSA as my default time server as sign my signature field with the normal Adobe Default handler, it uses the TSA and the signature properties reflects this. I wnat to know how I can use a TSA with my custom handler. I sign signature fields using the PROP_PSENG_SignFormatPKCS7DetachedDigest. How can I include a TSA? I've tried adding a TimeStamp dictionary to my SV dictionary of the signature field, but it does not seem to have any affect on the signature...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Magda

SQL is not a procedural language - so you cannot create a view for example that has a parameter signature. E.g. this is possible in a procedural language:
declare
        cursor c( deptID number ) is
                select * from emp where deptno = deptID;
begin
        open c( 1234 ); --// open SQL cursor using a parameter/variable
        --// etc..
        close c;
end;This is not possible using a SQL object like a view. As a view is not a procedure. So the same approach as the above using SQL (silly example, but do demonstrates the basics):
// define
create or replace view emp_view as select * from emp;
// use
select * from emp_view where deptno = 1234;The CBO is clever - and it will likely push such a predicate into the emp_view SQL statement.
To parameterise such a view, is ugly. And should only be considered when dealing with issues such as security and data restrictions. A context is created - this can contain a number of name-values. The view can then use a name-value from the context. Oracle's data dictionary views use this approach.

  • Own connection handling class

    hi all,
    In the jdbcpds.conf file, it is mentioned that we can write our own connection handling class which extends the provided JDBCConnectionHandling class
    What i tried after looking at the methods of connection handler is something like this
    class myJDBCConnectionHandling extends JDBCConnectionHandling
    protected void parseConnectInfo(String s, JDBCConnectDialog jdbcconnectdialog, Plugin plugin)
    throws Exception
    String dbUrl = null;
    dbUrl = "<user>/<pwd>@<remotedatabase>";
    super.parseConnectInfo(dbUrl, jdbcconnectdialog, plugin);
    Is there anything else that needs to be done
    because this is throwing an error
    JDBCPDS-62008 : Failed to connect to the datasource null
    Invalid arguments in the call
    Can anybody correct me
    Of course my main purpose of trying this is to have something like a logical name given to the P_JDBCPDS parameter which can be mapped to the actual database url using JNDI lookup.
    what i was expecting was, the string when passed to the connection handler, i can add the code to lookup the name in my own connection handler and leave the rest to the provided JDBCConnectionHandling class
    Am i going in right direction or not
    Or if anybody has any other solution you are welcome to suggest
    Any sort of help is greatly appreciated
    Thanks in advance

    hi,
    One more thing i forgot to mention was that i am not too concerned about this lookup in reports builder
    I need when this is running on the server

  • How to call adobe's default signing dialogue after my own signature capture dialogue

    Hi,
    Working from the DocSign example I have create my own dialogue in which I can enter my signature and successfully draws the signature and signs the document (with my hardcoded sefl-signed certificate). I want to give the user the option to choose his/her own certificate or to generate a self-sign certificate (just like the adobe's default signing dialogue).
    Is there a way in which I can call the default adobe's signing dialogue right after I have called my signature dialogue? So that it still draws my signature, but uses the default siging to sign the document?
    Regards,
    Magda

    I'm confused here.
    You want Acrobat to do the actual signing BUT you want to provide the appearance for the signature field only – is that correct?

    You can seach the net for solutions like this one http://appletvvpn.com/how-to-connect-apple-tv-2-to-vpn/ another idea is to use a PC as the control and fit that with a wireless card and set up a ad hoc wireless network that the Apple TV uses.

    Hi,
    I had never heard of someone using the iPhone Number as the ID in the iMessages account in the Mac version.
    i.e without adding an Apple ID
    iMessages does allow iPhone numbers and mine lists mine.
    I would try this.
    Sign Out of the iMessages account and Quit Messages
    On the iPhone in Settings > Messages remove the Apple ID
    Set the iPhone to Airplane mode for a few minutes (to break with the  Server)
    On starting the phone up again check the iPhone Number  is ticked for iMessages.
    If it is add the Apple ID
    On the Mac restart Messages
    Add the Apple ID
    At this point you should get a pop up or two saying the iPhone is using the Number and Apple ID.
    Accept these and they get added to the Receive At list and Send From drop down.

    i've lost my iphone with passcode lock and find my iphone lock on but the wifi n cellular data was turned off so no way i can trace it so the only question remains is will the person who finds it be able to unlock it and use it as his own ?
    is it possible to change imei number?
    i've tried for so many times n still the phone is offline so i've set it to offline mode with my message but it never shows the last location why?

    If the device is found, nobody can use it without knowing your Apple ID and password.
    The phone will only show it's location if it is connected to cellular network or Wi-Fi. If those options are switched off, you can't locate the phone.
    With iOS 7, Find My iPhone includes a new feature called Activation Lock, which is designed to prevent anyone else from using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch if you ever lose it. It starts working the moment you turn on Find My iPhone in iOS 7. With Activation Lock, your Apple ID and password will be required before anyone can:
    Turn off Find My iPhone on your device
    Erase your device
    Reactivate and use your device
    This can help you keep your device secure, even if it is in the wrong hands, and can improve your chances of recovering it. Even if you erase your device remotely, Activation Lock can continue to deter anyone from reactivating your device without your permission. All you need to do is keep Find My iPhone turned on, andremember your Apple ID and password.
    What steps should I take if I misplace my device?
    If you ever misplace your device—whether it’s just lost or you think it may have been stolen—you should put it into Lost Mode immediately using Find My iPhone.
    Lost Mode locks your screen with a four-digit passcode and lets you display a custom message with your phone number to help you get it back. You can also remotely erase your device if needed, and your custom message will continue to display even after the device is erased.
    While Activation Lock works in the background to make it more difficult for someone to use or sell your missing device, Lost Mode clearly indicates to anyone who finds your device that it still belongs to you and can’t be reactivated without your password.
    To put a device into Lost Mode, sign in to icloud.com/find from a Mac or PC or use the Find My iPhone iOS app.
    For more information, read what to do if your device is lost or stolen.

  • How can I find the location of the signature used in the Adobe Reader signature feature?

    How can I find the location of the signature used in the Adobe Reader signature feature? I've been using the signature feature for a while now and it works great and I'd like to use it on another computer. However, I forgot where I stored the signature. Adobe finds it with no problems (the signature pops up when I click "Place Signature"), but I have no idea where it is.

  • Can DBMS_CRYTO Package encrypt using a HMAC-SHA-1 Signature?

    Hello there,
    I'm trying to integrate Google Checkout (GC) into a friend's APEX-created website, running on a 10g Release 2 database (Express Edition).
    Google request that XML representing an order be encrypted using a HMAC-SHA-1 signature, which will consist of the GC Merchant ID.
    I'm very new to crptography in the Oracle Database, but had heard of the DBMS_CRYPTO Package. However, I could not identify a package constant representing the HMAC-SHA-1 signature. The closest I could come was HMAC-SH1. I don't think that's quite the same thing.
    Can anybody offer any assistance?
    Kind Regards.

    What was wrong here was that the key was not a) converted from modified base64 and then b) not converted back to binary.
    This now generates the correct signing value

    We had some accuracy issues with NI 5112 scope in one of the ATE and then I decided to perform self calibration using Labvidew vi to perform “niScope_CalSelfCalibrate(handle, "", 0);” function.
    But it made it worse. I tried using option 2 to restore but it did not work.
    Could you pls advice me to resolve this issue.

    Hi Ana10,
    Are you using this digitizer with NI VideoMaster? if not you should probably post this in the Digitizer forums. That said I would suggest using the self calibrate function in MAX for this device rather than the LabVIEW API method just so that you can rule out any errors in correctly configuring the digitizer for self cal in LabVIEW. Also you should ensure that all inputs are disconnected before performing a self cal. If this still results in an error in calibration you could refer to the following document or arrange to return the digitizer to NI for external calibration.

    Hope this helps,
