The simplest (?) way to do it would be something like...
String[][] attribs = new String [4][2];
Class paramTypes[] = {String.class, attribs.getClass()};
Object[] params = new Object[] {"PRINTER",attribs};

Class arrayClass = java.lang.reflect.Array.newInstance(componentClass, new int[] {0, 0}).getClass();... but you can guess why I might not recommend it in the general case.
