Hi,
I am using Azure SDK 2.5 package, and when I run cspack from build window it throws me below error:
error MSB4018: The "CSPack" task failed unexpectedly.
System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: Type 'System.Xml.Linq.XElement' in Assembly 'System.Xml.Linq, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' is not marked as serializable.
But when I use the 2.4 SDK it works fine for me. Please advice how to fix this issue.

I am not sure about the root cause, but I did find a workaround for this at the following stackoverflow article

"Copy the Azure SDK 2.4 version cspack.exe, ServiceDescription.dll & Microsoft.ServiceHosting.Tools.MsBuildTasks.dll to Azure SDK 2.5 cspack.exe location and replace. This would using cspack 2.4 to pack with Azure SDK 2.5 runtimes."

CCMS monitoring a remote server on a ditributed system that is not an R3 in

CCMS monitoring of a remote server using RFC-SAPOSCOL on a distributed system that is not an R3 install but just an DB server. Has anyone any idea how to set this up? I've read SAP note that refer to it and where to download the files but nothing on how to set it up.
Sorry to make that clear we have a distributed system with a SAP CI on one server and a SQL DB on the other. I would like to monitor the os through CCMS on the DB server.

WebRole fail to start: System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException

Hi everyone and sorry for my bad english...
I'm trying from several days to deploy my azure cloud service. The solution contains 2 Webrole and 1 WorkRole.
1 WebRole and the WorkRole deploy, starts and works fine, while the other webrole fails to run every time i've tried.
My Cloud Service Dashboard -> Instances show:
- WebRole 1 : Running
- WorkRole : Running
- WebRole 2: Restarting (Role has encountered an error and has stopped.
Unhandled Exception: System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException
From there, Webrole 2 keeps trying restart forever (alternating is status between "Busy" and Restarting with that exception).
Both Webroles use the same References (no exception), and all Reference of WebRole 1 match the version of WebRole 2.
Problems started after i upgraded my azure sdk to 2.5. Then i created a new solution with VS2013.
In local environment, everything works fine. But i cant deploy in staging or production environment.
I have no more ideas how to solve this and the exception is very few explicative. Any help is very appreciated

After many tries and a deeper code analysis, i found where the error is, but i still can't understand why it's here.
in the "bad" WebRole EntryPoint, there are some "initializing methods", which build my table storage and insert some default entities.
Specifically, in this call:
table = clientTableStorage.GetTableReference(NameTable.ToString());
table.CreateIfNotExists();
something goes wrong, and the exception is thrown.
if i comment out
//table.CreateIfNotExists();
everything goes fine, my webrole deploys and works like a charm.
More details about the code, just for clarity:

What i can't understand is the fact that this code is in production from June 2013, and i never got problems with any (many) update before this.

The table storage which i'm pointing is in production from 2013 too. So, of course, it was created with an old Azure Storage version (I see 2.0.0.0), while now we are in 4.3.0.0
Maybe there is some old/new version incompatibility?

Access denied error while writing a file to the file system - myfileupload.saveas() throws system.unauthorizedexception

hi,
as part of my requirement , i have to perform read and write operations of few files [ using the file upload control in my custom visual web part] and on submit button click.
but while writing these files - with the help of fileupload control - and when i use myfileupload.saveas(mylocation);
- i am saving these files into my D:\ drive of my server , where i am executing my code -, am getting access denied error.
it throws system.unauthorizedexception.
i have given full control on that folder where i was trying to store my attached files. and also after following asp.net forums,
i have added iusr group added and performed all those steps such that, the file is saved in my D:\ drive.
but unfortunately that didnt happen.
also
a) i am trying the code with runwithelevatedprivileges(delegate() ) code
b) shared the drive within the d :drive where i want o save the files.
c) given the full privieleges for the app pool identity- in my case , its
network service.
the other strange thing is that, the same code works perfectly in other machine, where the same sp, vs 2012 etc were installed .
would like to know, any other changes/ steps i need to make it on this server, where i am getting the error.

Using Azure internal load balancer (ILB) for Sql Reporting Services

I am attempting to implement a scale-out SSRS deployment using the Azure ILB feature. I have created 2 Sql Reporting servers using the azure images and have created a ILB endpoint on both servers. I am then attempting to access the servers via the
ILB from my .Net web application. I can access the report server from my browser and am prompted for credentials using forms authentication. there is no issue accessing the reports from a browser however my web application cannot access the reports
and returns a 500 error. I have a hunch this is due to an authentication issue due to invalid kerberos proxy authentication.
Does anyone have any information regarding the possible authentication mechanisms that are supported using Azure ILB?

Thanks for the response Swallow0417, but as I stated I already had configured this to work in a browser. I should have mentioned that I already had set the machine key and altered the rsreportserver.config file as mentioned in
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc281307.aspx.
It turns out this was due to the extended data validation that was introduced in SQL 2014.
This page led me to alter rsreportserver.config so that:
<RSWindowsExtendedProtectionLevel>Off</RSWindowsExtendedProtectionLevel>
<RSWindowsExtendedProtectionScenario>Any</RSWindowsExtendedProtectionScenario>
After restarting the report server service my application now can make the requests for the reports successfully. I'll provide the other steps I took to hopefully help someone else in the future:
1. Create 2 or more SQL servers in an Azure availability group on the same service in a Reports server scale out deployment. The SSRS Service account must be a domain account or it will not work
2. Create an Azure ILB using powershell and add the endpoints on your http(s) ports on the server in step 1. I also set the endpoint IdleTimeoutInMinutes to 30 on both endpoints as it seemed like there was some possible timeout issues. the endpoint MUST
also have DirectServerReturn Set to $true
3. disable the loopbackcheck see method 2 here

Problem in Fetching data using RFC FM from NON SAP system

Hi All,
Need help from experts on data transfer using RFC from a non SAP system/database. I have creasted the destination in sm59.
I have created a function module too which has an import parameter as a query and export parameter as an internal table.
No when i test run this function module it returns some entries. But when I call this FM in a program it throws a dump 'rfc_external_abort' . Here is what the call to FM looks like in my program. Please guide me on this.

you are telling that you are fetching the data from non sap system using RFC function module.. how it is possible..you canot fetch the data from non SAP system using RFC FM alone.. you have to use the concept BAPI.. it will work..

The Integration Engine is the runtime environment of SAP NetWeaver usage type Process Integration. It controls the messaging process (receiving, processing, and forwarding) to and from the central Integration Server.
I agree with you about the usage to make easy for integration of systems with Proxy. Just extending to it, the integration engine has the task of receiving, processing, and forwarding XML messages.
Event driven Message Processing is also very much possible with Integration engine to control the messaging across the heterogeneous systems
Message Packaging have imporved the performance of message processing using the integration engine.

Adobe form generation fm throwing system error

If the item data we are sending is greater than 19 records then the Fm is throwing system error.
If we send less than 19 it is generating the adobe form.
I checked all the Zcode there is no restriction in Zcode.
Can you please provide your ideas in overcoming this.

You can try the following..
In the backend use Tcode SE91.. fill in QISR as the Message Class & 402 as the Message Number and click on the 'Where-Used List' icon in the menu.. If the message is not triggered dynamically, it will take you to the program where it is triggered.. may be that will help you locate the error..

Error on microsoft login page for OpenId authentication using Azure AD

We have implemented authentication for multi tenant SaaS solution which uses Azure Ad single sign on using OpenIdConnect authentication and its working fine.
The problem is when user is logged in in azure management portal with his live account and in other tab he try to open our app, then he directly gets below error on Microsoft login page.

The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.5 (Mavericks preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is now non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
To make use of iCloud you will have to upgrade your Mac to Lion or Mavericks, provided it meets the requirements.
The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). I have setup the Connection broker in HA with Server2 as Passive Server : DNS Round Robin poccb.mydomain.local (Server1)
The certificate Manager has generated 2 CA certificates :

I have created 1 Group Policy for these 3 servers and 1 GP for my client Windows 7 SP1.

If in my client GPO I add the physical name of the 3 servers, it works :

if my connection broker connects me on Server1 , no problem
But If I arrive on Server2 & Server 3=

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
Firstly check that, your user is using domain\username to enter the credential in the dialog box.
Now for a try, you can edit .rdp file with notepad and just place “enablecredsspsupport:i:0” line in it, save it an launch to check whether you are facing same issue.
As you are using windows 7 then upgrade to RDP 8.1. Also as you have already enter the FQDN name of server under “Allow delegating default credentials”. For a try please enable and configure for all the remaining settings as follow and check the result.
Start / Run / gpedit.msc / Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / System / Credentials Delegation, and make sure you have the following four options enabled and configured:
Allow Delegating Default Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication
Allow Delegating Default Credentials
Allow Delegating Saved Credentials
Allow Delegating Saved Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication
Finally, open a command prompt and use “gpupdate /force” command to apply the policy directly.

I'm totally new to C#. I'm trying to modify existing code to automatically rename a file if exists. I found a solution online as follows:

If you upgraded to Snow Leopard, then it would seem that Suitcase 11 is not compatible with Snow Leopard and you'd need to buy Suitcase Fusion 3 for $99.95.
