Using class from an API named System and builtin System class

For some godforsaken reason the guys at sprint decided to name one of their utility classes System so it clashes with the java.lang.System class. Their must be an easy way to use both of these at the same time but I havent come across it yet. Anyone??
Heres what I got so far:
import com.sprintpcs.util.System;
System.gc() //fails becasue it now looks at other sprint System class
System.promptMasterVolume();
Thanks;
Sam

use the full class name (inc. package), so
java.util.System.out.println( "format the bastards harddisk" );
com.bastard.System.format();

  • Using Windows.Devices.SmartCards API give 'System.UnauthorizedAccessException'

    Hi everybody,
    In the past I used the Windows.Devices.SmartCards APIs for Windows Phone 8.1 with success (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.devices.smartcards.aspx).
    Now i want to use the same APIs to connect my PC (Windows 8.1) to a SmartCardReader (e.g. ACR122) and read some data from a SmartCard.
    Unfortunately, when i use those APIs, a System.UnauthorizedAccessException is launched.
    How can i resolve it?
    Many thanks!
    This is the code:
    private async Task getSmartCardReader()
    string selector = SmartCardReader.GetDeviceSelector(SmartCardReaderKind.Generic);
    DeviceInformationCollection devices = await DeviceInformation.FindAllAsync(selector);
    Debug.WriteLine("Number of devices: "+devices.Count.ToString());
    if (devices != null && devices.Count != 0)
    foreach (DeviceInformation s in devices)
    try
    Debug.WriteLine("Device Id: "+s.Id);
    Debug.WriteLine("Device Name: " + s.Name);
    Debug.WriteLine("Is Device Enabled: " + s.IsEnabled);
    //Here is the line that launches exception
    SmartCardReader reader = await SmartCardReader.FromIdAsync(s.Id);
    catch (Exception e) {
    Debug.WriteLine(e.StackTrace);

  • Using UWL from a non sap system

    We are intgerating OTM (Oracle transportation management system) with SAP.
    We need to have a single point where the users track all their norifications.
    Is it possible to add notifications (task or error) into sap UWL from a non sap system.
    If yes what are the main steps to do it?
    Which set up must be done in SAP UWL to manage this?

    Do some searches about "UWL custom connector" or "UWL custom connector API". You should find pretty good documentation about this subject.

  • Creating a business partner using data from a remote legacy system

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to make an interface for creating a business partner in SAP CRM from customer data created in a remote legacy system. I want to map the fields in XI.
    But to create a customer I need a RFC or a BAPI or maybe an IDoc, that includes all fields for business partner creation and can create a new business partner from the data.
    I have identified an RFC that have the structure of the BDoc BUPA_MAIN. This RFC is called: CRM_BUPA_MAIN_CRM_IN
    But I am not sure if that RFC can be used for Business Partner creation.
    Can anyone tell me if that RFC can be used, or if there are other RFC's, BAPI's or IDoc's that can be used for remote creation of business partners (they have to include all fields of the Business Partner)??
    There are a few BAPI's that include some of the fields for BP creation, but making several calls to different BAPIs from XI to CRM is not an option (I thought the BAPI: BAPI_BUPA_FS_CREATE_FROM_DATA could have been used, but it lacks some of the data fields needed for creating BPs).
    Thanks in advance,

  • Rule fragments using conditions from modules lead to system exception

    I try to buid a project that uses a module with some rules that deduct a boolean value based on a name input (string). These name strings are inside an entity (one to many contained relationship from global), so the boolean is deducted per instance. That entity has a one to one relationship with another entity.
    The property model is as follows. (All entitys, relationships and attributes are exported):
    global - one.to.many entity1 - one.to.one - entitiy2
    The modulair structure is as follows: module1 that contains a common property structure, is used by module2 with a set of business rules on instances of entity 1, which is used bij the main rulebase.
    I use rule fragments on instances of entity2, that uses a a boolean statement in entity 1
    i.e.:
    (in module2)
    the name of entity1 is foobar if
    entity1 = "foobar"
    (in the main rulebase)
    [rule fragment]
    entity2 is relevant if
    the name of entity1 is foobar
    [rule fragment:1]
    entity2 is not relevant
    If I build the project, I get a system exception. System.Exception Unknown relationship. It then shows the reverse text of the relationship text from entity1 to entity2. Then the stack trace continues, it begins with Oracle.Modeling.Compiler.Plugin.XMLTranslate.X3ToXML.ResolveDataModelReferences(ISourceDocument doc,XmlElement el, String context)
    Is this a bug? The exception seems to point in that direction. In the userguide is explained that 'you cannot have rule fragments that cross over module boundaries ' but my fragments are in the main rulebase only.
    Philip.

    I am trying to get a small rulebase with modules in English running that behaves the same. So far, I have not been able to reproduce the problem with this rulebase.
    EDIT: Can now reproduce this in a set of three OPA knowledge bases in English, two modules and one main kb. I guess the forum does not let you upload files?

  • Trying to use Imovie to create a movie using a Mac OSX 10.6.7, 3.2 g Intel core. Using clips from my Sony CRX 150 and need to remove sound in order to add music to the movie. HEELLLP!

    OK, I 'm attempting my first movie here using this Mac OSX Snow Leopard with IMovie. I have clips I created from an 8mm Movie projector copied on my Sony CRX 150 and the sound of the projector is all over these clips and I have no idea how to remove that before adding music. So far this has been great and this is my first bump in the road. Also I notice tho, that the icon for my camcorder has disappeared from the desktop and looks like I'm gonna have trouble "ejecting" it in order to shut things down!!!  HELLLLP!

    Thanks. I tested it out and you were correct. I loaded 2 .dv movies from my external HD back onto my internal HD, and got them re-imported into iMovie, took a few short clips from each of the 2 iMovie events and pasted them into a new project in the Project Browser. Then I deleted these 2  "source clips" from my internal HD, closed iMovie and then re-opened it and found that iMovie would NOT export the smaller clips for a "highlights" .4mv movie without the "source clips" being available.
    I read your link on Quicktime. It talks about mostly trimming, which is what I did with each iMovie event before I took each one as a project to export as a smaller .4mv file. But if I use Quicktime (do I need QT Pro or basic), what advantage is it to me to use QT over iMovie (I must admit I am a novice at iMovie and have never used QT or QT Pro as a tool)? Will it then convert any edits I make to a .m4v movie or do I need iMovie to do that?
    Does QT allow trimming multiple segments out of a movie during one edit session, or can you only do 1 at a time? By that I mean that, for example, when I use Sonys Picture Motion Browser for my .mts movies, you can only set one Start and one End point for each edit/trim you do: it does not allow you to set multiple Start Stop points like iMovie allows in its Event or Project browser. You can only do one "trim" at a time, save it and then reopen to do another trim. not very useful.

  • Attach pdf to email and use text from field in body

    I'm looking to create a fillable form with a 'submit' button at the bottom.  Upon clicking the submit button, I would like an e-mail window to open with a pre-defined recipient, and the pdf attached.  I've found code to accomplish this using this.mailDoc()
    However:
    I'm also hoping to get the text from the "Name" field of my form and use it in the body of the e-mail.
    I've found the following code in another post, which appears to work for this:
    var cClientName = this.getField("ClientName").value;
    var cAddress = this.getField("Address").value;
    var cBody = "Client Information:\n\n";
    cBody += "Client Name: " + cClientName + "\n";
    cBody += "Address: " + cAddress + "\n";
    var myURL = "mailto:[email protected]?subject=Client Info&body=";
    myURL += cBody;
    app.launchURL(myURL, true);
    That will open an e-mail window with a body containing the data from AcroForm fields named "ClientName" and "Address".
    The problem is, that this code will not attach the pdf.
    How can I get the best of both worlds?
    Thanks!

    You don't need launchURL to achieve that. mailDoc is capable of setting the
    subject line, email body, recipients lists, etc.

    So I just bought a used MacBook from Amazon with OSX 10.5.8.  I am trying to install new software and operating system, but I don't have the passwords to the Users set up in the computer.  What do I do?

    Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
    When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Reset Password. After resetting the password use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for startup and restart.

    How do I reorganize my photos on iPad 2?  I need to move (not copy) photos from one album to another.  When I use the copy function to another album, and then try to delete an image from the original album, the system wants to delete the photos from all albums.  Please help.

    You can't do it directly on the iPad - the new album functionality basically only allows you to copy photos into those new albums, you can't move them. The way that I think of it as working is that you are just creating pointers to the photos in those new albums, so if you then delete the original photo on the iPad you therefore automatically delete all the pointers to it.
    If you want to re-organise your albums then you will need to do it on your computer and then sync those albums over to the iPad

  • Using transform api with xslt and DOM Nodes

    Hi,
    when trying to transform a xml document with xslt using the javax.xml.transform api
    providing an element node of a previously parsed document, I find that absolute
    paths are not recognized.
    The following program shows what I am basically doing (the class can be executed
    on the command line providing a stylesheet and xml instance):
    import java.io.*;
    import org.w3c.dom.*;
    import javax.xml.transform.*;
    import javax.xml.transform.dom.*;
    import javax.xml.transform.stream.*;
    import javax.xml.parsers.*;
    class Transform {
    public static void main(String [] args) throws Exception {
         TransformerFactory tfactory = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
         Transformer transformer = tfactory.newTransformer(new StreamSource(args[0]));
         DocumentBuilderFactory dfactory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
         DocumentBuilder parser = dfactory.newDocumentBuilder();
         Document doc = parser.parse(args[1]);
         Element domElem = doc.getDocumentElement();
         // workaround
    //     StringWriter out = new StringWriter();
    //     Transformer id = tfactory.newTransformer();
    //     id.transform(new DOMSource(domElem),new StreamResult(out));
    //     String xml = out.toString();
    //     transformer.transform(new StreamSource(new StringReader(xml)), new StreamResult(System.out));
         transformer.transform(new DOMSource(domElem), new StreamResult(System.out));
    transformer.clearParameters();
    If I use this on e.g.
    xsl:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
    <xsl:output indent="yes" encoding="ISO-8859-1" method="xml"/>
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <xsl:value-of select="/foo/bar"/>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    xml:
    <foo>abc<bar>def</bar></foo>
    I get
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    abcdef
    instead of
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    def
    I think this is due to the fact, that the transformation does not recognize
    any absolutely adressed xpath correctly.
    From what I read in the API docs, I think what I'm doing should be ok.
    So: did I misunderstand something or is this a bug in the java libraries?
    I'm using j2sdk 1.4.1_01 on i386 linux.
    If I use the commented code (serializing the xml and doing the transformation
    with a StreamSource, that has to be parsed again), everything's fine.
    Of course it would be easier to parse the file directly in the example but in the
    real program, I already have a dom tree and want to transform a part of it.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks, Morus

    why?
    that's all the point of XSL: define what part of your
    XML you want in your XSL templates, there is no need
    to prepare a sub-DOM of your DOM.
    Ok. Right. That's an alternative.
    The problem remains, that there are some stylesheets originally written
    for the current solution and though they should work with the whole document
    as well, it's not certain.
    Actually I don't know if this ever worked. I did neither write this code nor maintained the system so far.
    btw. you would be faster by giving a StreamSource to
    your transformation.Probably yes. But that would imply to rewrite a lot of code.
    What is happening is:
    there is a SOAP answser containing a xml document as the result parameter.
    The SOAP answer is parsed (I guess by the soap classes already) and the
    result xml is extracted. That's where the element node I'm trying to transform
    stems from.
    Besides, I still don't see why DOMSource takes any node if only document nodes
    work.
    Thanks, Morus

  • How to use "Add from POM" to add source path and docpath?

    Hi
    My team is developing multiple projects with JDeveloper 11gr2.
    We share libraries and sources between team members using maven extension for JDeveloper.
    We deploy class jar, source jar and javadoc jar to repository.
    The project pom has some dependency defined as below
    <dependency>
                <groupId>com.example</groupId>
                <artifactId>CommonClient</artifactId>
                <version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
                <type>jar</type>
                <scope>compile</scope>
    </dependency>
    We use ProjectProperties->Mave->Dependencies->Add from POM button to add dependecies to Project.
    The problem is that the class jar is added to the classpath but the source jar and javadoc jar are not.
    As a result, Team members cannot see the javadoc in code editor.
    Configure IDE libraries is an option but does not work well with maven.
    Does anyone know how to add source jar and javadoc jar to project using "Add from POM" button?
    Thank you!

    Hi ,
    Sample code snippet for GET_RELATED_CONTENT is as follows :
    dataBinder.putLocal("IdcService", "GET_RELATED_CONTENT");
    dataBinder.putLocal("dSource","CS");
    dataBinder.putLocal("dID","3202");
    dataBinder.putLocal("dLinkTypeID","1");
    serializer.serializeBinder (System.out, dataBinder);
    // Send the request to Content Server
    ServiceResponse response = idcClient.sendRequest(userContext,dataBinder);
    // Get the data binder for the response from Content Server
    DataBinder responseData = response.getResponseAsBinder();
    // Write the response data binder to stdout
    serializer.serializeBinder (System.out, responseData);
    // Retrieve the SearchResults ResultSet from the response
    DataResultSet resultSet = responseData.getResultSet("RelatedContent");
    // Iterate over the ResultSet, retrieve properties from the content items
    for (DataObject dataObject : resultSet.getRows ()) {
    System.out.println ("Related ContentID is : " + dataObject.get ("dDocName") );
    Point to note is :
    dLinkTypeID is set to 1 . Reason being that the rendition related content is used to link items . So looking for those related items which are as Renditions .
    This value would be as follows :
    dLinkTypeID Related content type
    1 Rendition
    2 Supersedes
    3 Has Supporting content
    4 Cross References
    2 more sub types are :
    Supports - dLinkTypeID=3 and extraparameter is isGetParents=1
    Cross Referenced By - dLinkTypeID=4 and extraparameter is isGetParents=1
    Hope this helps .
    Thanks,

  • IWeb file structure and naming system

    I am trying to publish my iWeb directly to my domain (www.jessewarren.net) using the FTP direct publish function. However, iWeb is applying an overly complex naming system.
    For example, its publishing not only the page names, but also the name of the Site in iWeb, after the original URL. Here's an example: http://jessewarren.net/testing/Site/Blank.html
    First, I need everything to be on the domain. Then, I only need the name of the individual pages to be published, not the Site Name itself. I already have a site name, and that's my domain.
    Any other advice on how to control file structure and naming in iWeb?

    This is not incorrect and it is the way iWeb publishes and has done ever since iWeb 06. When you publish from iWeb to a local folder, what you get is your Site folder with your site name and a separate index file.
    If you don't want your site name included, then what you need to do is rather than using the direct ftp from iWeb, select ftp to a local folder instead. Your site will then be published to your desktop. Then download either Cyberduck or Transmit for free - these are dedicated ftp programs. Then all you do is load just the contents of your site folder to your public_html folder on your server and your url will then be http://www.domain.com/pagename.html.
    Be aware though, that if you are loading like this, you are breaking iWeb site structure and RSS feed will not be available to you if you need to use it.
    If you want to continue to use the built in iWeb ftp, then you could try naming your site public_html and then leaving the directory blank and then uploading like this and because you have named your site public_html and are uploading to the same place, your public_html folder on your server will be replaced with your website, thus eliminating the site name.
    I have tried this method once myself with my own site and it does work, however, I still prefer to publish to a folder and then upload to my sever using Cyberduck.

  • Exception when connecting to Reporting and Analysis services from Java API

    Hello,
    I'm trying to connect to Hyperion Reporting and Analysis services from Java API using [Developer's guide|http://www.bidw.in/docs/hs_developer.pdf] .
    I get this error:

    I also tried to run samples from \BIPlus\SDK\samples\java, e.g. Login.java:

    Please help.

  • Reading the mode channel start and no. of bits using the CAN channel API

    Currently I am using the CAN channel API to get information from a CANdb file.  I'm using it to get max, min, scaling information, etc.  However, I can not use it to get the start bit and the number of bits in the channel mode when using mode-dependant channels.  Is there an easier method to retrieve this information using one of the CAN API's instead of manually parsing the file myself for the information?

    I think that there has been some misunderstanding with regard to the
    original question. I believe Dillon is trying to find the start bit and
    number of bits in the multiplexer. The terminology of multiplexer and
    mode gets a little confusing. For clarification, my understanding is
    that a mode is a specific value of a multiplexer. In the case of Dirk's
    example code, he was able to retrieve the number
    of bits of the CHANNEL, but not the number of bits of the MULTIPLEXER.
    I believe that I have run into a similar problem to
    Dillon's. I want to read a NI CAN Database (*.ncd) or a Vector CAN
    Database (*.dbc) programmitically. I have attached a zip containing a
    VI and some *.ncd file to allow others to see my progress thus far.
    This is a heavily modified version of Dirk's previously posted program.
    As you can see, it is easy to get a list of messages using the "CAN Get
    Names" VI. Using that list of messages, it is also easy to get a list
    of channels by reusing the "CAN Get Names" VI. The list of channels
    does not include any information as to whether or not they belong to a
    multiplexer, but fortunately we can use the "CAN Get Property" VI to
    find out which channels are mode dependent and the value of the mode
    that the channel corresponds to (if it is mode dependent).
    Unfortunately, this does not give us any information as to the location
    or length of the multiplexer which contains the mode. Thus, I know
    whether I should be looking for a multiplexer and I know what value to
    watch for in the multiplexer, but I have no idea where or how to look
    for that value in the CAN message.
    Interestingly, by
    playing around with Dirk's database that he had attached, I was able to
    determine that the list of channels does not always give out the same
    information. Typically, you will simply receive an 1D array strings
    containing only the channel names, but the output is different in the
    event that you have a database that meets the following criteria:
        1. Two channels (in different modes) have the same name
        2. The database contains at least two multiplexers
    In
    this case the output will be a 1D array of strings in which the
    repeated channels (regardless of whether they are in the same
    multiplexer) will be output in the format "<message
    name>.<multiplexer NAME>.<mode value>.<channel
    name>". The channels that have unique names are simply output as the
    channel name. Now this is helpful in that by default the multiplexer
    name contains the start bit of the multiplexer, but this cannot be
    relied upon. The creator of the database could easily change the name
    of the multiplexer and the format is only adhered to when the
    previously mentioned criteria are met. Also it still does not tell us
    anything about the number of bits expected in the multiplexer (remember
    Dirk had found the number of bits expected for the CHANNEL).
    I have found another alternative output format when the following criteria are met:
        1. Two channels (in different modes) have the same name
        2. Only one multiplexer is contained within the file
    In
    this case the output will be a 1D array of strings in which the
    repeated channels will be output in the format "<message
    name>.<mode value>.<channel
    name>".  Again, this special format is only used for the repeated
    channels. Uniquely named channels are simply output as channel names. While this is not particularly useful, but I thought I should mention it.
    It
    is also probably worth noting that I found the previously mentioned
    alternative formats by directly reading reading a *.ncd file. It
    appears that by reading the channels directly from MAX we get at least
    one additional format (<message name.channel name> ).  Considering
    that this is actually even less information and since my application
    specifically requires that I directly read a CAN database without the
    assistance of MAX, I have not significantly explored this avenue.
    Let
    me finish by reiterating the question that I am asking: How do you
    programmitically determine the start bit and number of bits of the
    multiplexers in a CAN database (*.ncd or *.dbc). I have attached a zip
    file containg my current "testing" VI and some databases to illustrate
    the results that I have described above.
