Using conditional output

Thanks to VetSrini, I know how to generate the first half of this output (comma delimited names).
Any pointers on how I would go about generating the other half? ie: Print a string called "New" and append the names in a sorted order if the "New" column is Y as shown in the desired output below (the formatting gets messed up ... New: C2 should be displayed in the Customer column and not as it appears below).

WWI issue: function module with symbol doesn't work in conditional output

Hi,
I have created a function module to be used in combination with a symbol that represents the quantity of a composition item in a composition. In some cases a average quantity is not filled and the function module calculates the quantity based on the lower and upper limit of the composition item. This function works perfectly if managed in customising with a symbol or called with a symbol in WWI. When displaying the result of the symbol in a WWI word template it shows the expected value.
However when I use the symbol with a function module (or the customised symbol with function module) in a conditional output expression, the value it represents in the expression is always equal to zero. It seems that a symbol value that is calculated using a functional module is not calculated properly when used in a conditional output expression. Setting a break in the functional module always shows the correct value, but the value as I already told, is not seen by the conditional output expression. Within the expression the value is always equal to zero.
Does anyone know if this is a known issue in WWI? Is there any solution to handle this problem? I hope anyone can help.

The "issue" is that you need to analyse by "line" of POS group; or precisely: it is easy to print lower, upper and average value if it exists.
In conditional output this example is shown in SAP help:

I believe you need a "clever" nesting together with your customer symbol
E.g. you need first "test" the contents of the three values and decide about result
The easiest way could be to use a "table" structure as above.
Just use column header "lower"; "average"; "upper" value. Then you need to ask your self in which situation what need to printed.
If you use the table structure and you print just what is there and leave simply lower / upper limit "field" empty if it does not exists (what is bad with this?) you need only this "conditional" output topic done for average value. You could check for: if value > 0.0001 then print the value (as then there is a value); if not use the report symbol in which you calculate something. In my opinion it is worth to try it.
It is known that you can check "numeric values by using conditional output. I belive tis cintional one des work as well with the "composition" values (lwoer, upper, average),
May be this approach might help.
The "stack" examples which are discussed in SAP help and in the links shown are related to "characteristic" values of classes and not for composition ones.

PS: If this really works you can clearly extend your solution. E.g. if lower value is empty may be print "0", If upper valus is empty may be print "100" etc. (or prepare a further costumer symbol calculating something).

Can I use conditional build tags in CSS files?

I am using RoboHelp X5.0.2 and building CHM files.
I use conditional build tags to output different Help files
for the different products we have that all have similarities.
In the past I have setup the CSS file to show headers, links
etc in the color scheme we use to keep the look and feel of our
branding. One of the new products uses a different branding color
scheme.
I was wondering if there is a way I can use conditional build
tags in the CSS file so that when I build one type of help it uses
header in one color and when I build another help it uses a
different header color. Does anyone know how to do this? If it is
not possible in my current version, is it possible in the latest
version of Robohelp?

For .chm output, you could:
1. In the Topics pane, select all the topics (click on one
topic and press Ctrl+A).
2. Right click in the highlighted area and select Properties.
3. In the Appearance tab, select the different style sheet.
4. Click Save.
5. Generate the .chm file.
6. (optional) Repeat steps 1-4 to revert to previous style
sheet setting.

We have a situation where the leading system is ECC and the pricing
procedures, condition types and condition tables are downloaded to the CRM
system. The access sequence MWST used for the condition type MWSI in the
pricing procedure is using the customer specific tables A509, A902, A906, A908.
We got these tables developed in the CRM system as they did not existed
earlier using the below given SAP Notes and blogs:

How to print the GR tag using customised output in TCode MIGO?

I created one customized output type for transaction MB90, it working fine for this transaction. So now my client want same smartform to be used in MIGO transaction. I confirgured same, whenever we post the document in MIGO it should the print the GR tag automatically, its not happening i.e its not prininting the GR tag.
I want to print the GR tag from migo using z-output type. Pls let me know the solution.

How do i use conditional formatting to edit the color of other selected other cells?

I have been playing around with the conditional formatting feature of Numbers, I have figured out how to change font and background color of the cell i am working with.
However what i am looking to do is apply a background color formatting to another cell (i.e. F2) if conditions are met in (B2).
the end game is this,
I want to make a column of check boxes, and using contional formating i want adject cells to change color (I.e. the example above: if (B2) is a check box, then when unchecked the reffered Cell (F2) does nothing, but when check the color of (F2) changes)
I can make this happen with Logic equations, the give (i.e. F2) some letter or number value, then using conditional formats i can have the color change. but this leaves that particular cell useless to me (i.e. F2) I am not free to enter or edit text in that cell. (i.e. =IF(B2=TRUE,"Paid","Due") ----> then add a conditional statement that chages color when the value is either "Paid" or "Due")
How do i have F2 change color, when B2 is checked and still retain the ability to enter information (or potential have another formula) in F2? (The Cell is not used up by "Paid" or "Due" it is editable just like any other cell)
is there anyway to change cell characteristics like font, color, and background color inside a formula, because in that way i would be able build it manually
i tried using the formula editor inside the conditional format pane, but the only infor it will allow me to retain is one partictular cell. i cannot add modifiers like "+" or "=" or anything else. what is that space used for then?

You can do what you want in Numbers. It requires an auxiliary column and it's a bit tedious to set up because conditional formatting by comparison to another cell isn't relative, so each cell has to be programmed individually with no option to Paste or Fill to other cells in a range.
For explanation purposes, let's say your checkbox is A2, your cell to be conditionally formatted is B2, and your auxiliary cell is C2. To have the format of B2 determined by the checkbox status in A2, you will:
1. In C2 write: =IF(A, B, " ") The " " is any string or value that you don't expect to encounter in B normally, and using the space character means you don't have to worry about having it visible if C is in View.
2. In B2 use Conditional Format: "Equal To" cell C2 and set your text and fill attributes to be used when the box in A is checked.
That's it. Do that for every cell in the range.

Issues with using the output redirection character with newer NXOS versions?

Has anyone seen any issues with using the output redirection character with newer NXOS versions?
Am receiving "Error 0x40870004 while copying."
Simply copying a file from bootflash to tftp is ok.
This occurs for both 3CDaemon and Tftpd32 softwares.
Have tried it on multiple switches - same issue.
Any known bugs?

Please check with new version of TFTPD 32 server. The error may be due to older version of TFPT server, the new version available solved this error. Files are getting uploaded with no issues.
1. Download tftpd32b.zip from:
http://tftpd32.jounin.net/tftpd32_download.html
2. Copy the tftpd32b.zip file into an empty directory and extract it.
3. Copy the file you want to transver into the directory containing tftpd32.exe.
4. Run tftpd32.exe from that directory. The "Base Directory" field should show the path to the directory containing the file you want to transfer.
At this point, the tftpserver is ready to begin serving files. As devices request files, the main tftpd32 window will log the requests.

How do automate using two output types in an invoice based on plant

Hello,
Can you tell me how to configure automatically two output types for the same invoice.
My client has business in USA and Europe.We are using only one sales organization. But we need to print invoices in letter size and A4 size depending on whether the invoice is created in europe or in USA. So , I have created two output types, one for letter size and one for A4 size. How do I configure so that if it is based in a plant/shipping point in Europe it is printed using the A4 output type else in letter size. Please suggest.

I do not think you can use plant/shipping point in your access sequence for invoice output on header level, unless you add these fields to header level kommunication structure and populate these fields in userexit.
You can either
1. define requirement routines for your 2 output types which are mutually exclusive (if plant = A routine 1 returns sy-subrc = 0, routine 2 returns sy-subrc <>0, if plant = B routine 1 returns sy-subrc <>0, routine 2 returns sy-subrc = 0). You can assign requirements to output type either in output determination procedure OR in the access sequence. I would do it in output determination procedure. Check transactions NACO or NACE.
OR
2. add your fields to komkbv3 communication structure, populate your fields in thsi structure in userexits which are called from the function module komkbv3_fill and then you can either use then in the access sequence for your output types or create routines as in case 1. but the logic will be a simple check statement since KOMKBV3 is available in these routines.
3. In fact you can use one output type and select your layout in the print program itself... which may be even easier for you. We use this approach to select proper layout for GEOs which may have several layouts depending on region for example... so the output type is defined per country, then layout is selected by print program. (tnapr-fonam = ..., nast-spras = proper language, set country '' to use proper decimal & date format...)

how do you use multiple outputs on a VSTi like Kontakt or Battery with Logic Pro 7.1? I've heard someting about using AUX busses, but can anyone please provide an actual clear, step by step basic guide?

Is there anyway to have an application use the output for Alerts/Sound Effects?

I am trying to set some applications to use the output designated for the System Alerts and Sound Effects, while other applications continue to use the regular Output? I am using the Audio MIDI Utility with Aggregate/Multiple Outputs.

An action can specify the resources that it needs, which will trigger alerts if they are not there. Assuming that the system resources are there, you can include actions in an application bundle - see the Installing Actions section of the Automator Programming Guide.

Can you transfer data from one numbers spreadsheet to another using conditional formatting?

I have a tracker document set up for client payments and when I indicate payment received, it flags green using conditional formatting. However I would like these to automatically transfer to another sheet - without having to cut and paste the associated data to the other sheet. Can I set up conditional formatting to do this? If not how could I get and automatic transfer?

Hi Kangers,
There are a number of ways to transfer data from one table to the next. It should not be hard to set up.
Conditional formatting would not be involved it moving the data but you could set it up to flag the data in the new table.
Without knowing what your tables and data look like it is hard to propose a solution.

If I were to guess, I'd guess that your filename is invalid. How about removing all special characters (spaces, brackets, etc.) from the device name. Also, make sure your form was compiled for HTML.
I haven't actually used the HTML driver, but these are general things you should do if you have trouble with any Central driver.

I am trying to use the functionality Transportation and Shipment Scheduling in GATP.
I would like to know that how the sytem determines the process alias using condition technique in Transportation & Shipment Scheudling?
As the Transportation & Shipment Scheduling functionality can be extended further by using the configurable process to overcome the complex scenario. But it needs that process alias should not be determined by using the condition technique.
Moreover, is it possible to use both functionality simultaneously in the system. i.e. Transportation and Shipment Scheduling using condition technique and Transportation and Shipment Scheduling using configurable process?

Yes, depending on your customizing you can use both scheduling methods in parallel. e.g. you activate CPS just for a specific ITEM category or product and/or customer and/or....what ever you want.

How to use Bpel output as input in stored procedure

I am a SOA beginner. The scenario is to use the output from a BPEL process in a stored procedure as input and validate it against the data in the database. The data received from BPEL is compared with fields from different tables.
It is basically a business process data validation.
Will the output of BPEL be a Xml file and how it can b used in query of a procedure?

The output from the BPEL process will be in XML format.
Your requirement is not clear, please state it properly what are you trying to do.
