Using deprecated db panel possible?

I know there are several discussions on the deprecated database panel in DW cc. However, I have not found anyone discussing the problems I've had using the reinstalled panel after the last update to DWcc.
In short, I installed the deprecated database panel and used it without problems before the update. After the update to DWcc a week or two ago however, DW has started to insert the php-code in a somewhat random fashion into the html, resulting in errors when the pages go live. While the pages I edited before the update work fine, they start malfunctioning after being opened and saved in the updated DW - although I have not been able to locate what it is that DW changes in the code.
My question is simply: are more people having this problem? Is this simply what the label "deprecated" means in this context? Or am I doing something I shouldn't? Thankful for any advise!

Okay, to illustrate what I am talking about, I created a very simple form for adding users to a MySQL database. Creating a working connection to the database is no problem. However, when I try to add the server behaviour "Input post", the php code cuts through the html and stops it from working. Below, I have included only the code within <html> tags; the php code added for the server behaviour in the beginning of the document is fine. I have underlined the faulty tags. Needless to say, in such a small page as the one below, I could easily correct the mistakes manually. On a larger site, that solution is unfeasible.
Again, does anyone know whether this error lies with DW or with me? Although having worked a bit with coding online sites before, I'm new to DW and started using the software only after it became cc. Looking forward to the DMXzone addon.

  • Is there possibility to use the front panel without installing Labview?

    Hallo,
    i have two small questions:
1- Is it possible to use the front panel of a labview software without needing to install Labview itself? i mean something similar to the "power point viewer" which can view the Power Point files without installing the microsoft office.
2- In an intensity Graph, how can one change the color?
    thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi,
    Regarding your questions
1)You need to have Labview and Application builder installed on your machine. If you have that you can make an stand alone application (EXE) and then you can deploy it on systems that does not have LabView and can view it, However you will not be able to see the block diagram.
Here is a link that explains how to do so
    http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361A-01/lvhowto/exe_ex/
    2) You can either do it by using propery node or marker method. The following link explains it

    Hope it helps.

  • Does the 26C100U lcd tv use a Cinespeed panel with wide viewing angles?

I am nearly ready to purchase a 26C100U lcd tv but I want to verify that it has a Cinespeed panel with wide viewing angles. The reseller's website says that it does but Toshiba's 26C100U pdf spec sheet and web site says it does not. Although Toshiba's pdf spec sheet for the 32C100U model does show a Cinespeed panel. Is it possible that the 26" version does use a Cinespeed panel but it is just not listed? My main concern is the viewing angle (especially vertical) because the tv will be used in a slightly elevated postion.

I see what you mean about the specs.  I'd trust the info on Toshiba's website over the reseller's.  Looks like there's no Cinespeed on the 26C100U.

  • Preventing overlapping divs (using spry collapsible panel)?

I'm using a collapsible panel. below that is another div.

  • In Elements 12 why can't I suddenly not reposition layers without using the layer panel?

In Elements 12 I have always been able to drag photos from the bin onto a background and easily move them or alter them simply by clicking on those photo/slayers while working on the same background without using the layer panel.  A couple days ago I suddenly have to show the layer panel and click on that particular layer in the panel before I am able to move, alter, or delete a particular layer. Also, every time I open a new image or blank file to use as a background, I am suddenly working with a locked background which I don't want, and the directions to un-lock don't seem to work, if that has something to do with it.  I didn't change any settings that I know of.

For editing purposes, the thrust of the program is to work in layers, and to do that it is necessary to have the layers palette in view so that the appropriate layer can be made the active layer.
The background layer is locked by default. You can probably drag the padlock to the trash can, or, do your work on a duplicate layer which will come in unlocked.
Try dragging photos from the layers palette to the work area, not up from the photobin to the work area.
Also, go to Edit>Preferences>General and be sure that "Allow Floating Documents in Full Edit Mode" is checked.

Despite my best efforts, I am unable to remove iTunes 11.1.4 from my PC, this being made necessary because the original installation had a flaw and did not load properly. Effor to use the control panel, deleting dll. files, etc. all failed. And, of course, on startup, a window opens with the error and tells me find QTMovie.dll and delete it because this may be the source of the hangup. Also, in trying to delete iTunes, I get the additional message that I must get approval from the System Administrator to take this action. I am the System Administrator.
    Any ideas would be welcomed.
    Thank you.

  • Using Srpy tabbed panels with slidding panels

I am very new to spry and so I am still just figuring it all
out. How I found it was I wanted a tabbed panel like the one on the

use the tabbed panels with the sliding panels and it just does not

    this

tabbed panels - nothing has changed at all. Can someone tell me
what I might be doing wrong? I am attaching both my html and css

  • Using the Color Panel in HSB mode

Using the Color Panel in HSB mode. I start by selecting a color in the spectrum at the bottom using the eyedropper.
As I drag the eyedropper through the spectrum it seems the H slider moves to the same color.
    1. Is the H slider showing the same exact thing that is in the color spectrum at the bottom?
    Thanks.

Yes if you drag a strait line so that the other two sliders don't move. In other words you are changing only the Hue (H). If you drag up and down the other two sliders Saturation and Brightness will be affected.

  • Help Using Spry tabbed panel as a menu.

Thanks in advance to all who take the time to read and any assistance you can offer.
I'm picking up where someone else started a website. They used Spry tabbed panels as a menu system (CS4). Each Panel is a top-level "menu" and when it opens, sub-menus (hyperlinks) come up vertically under the panel.  I REALLY don't want to start over if I don't have to - need the site up and running - but cannot figure out how to make the "HOME" tabbed panel (the first one) actually take users back to the home page.  For now, I've created a "submenu" (link) under HOME tabbed panel to help the user navigate back to the home page.
    HELP?
    http://www.orange.k12.nc.us/ec/beta/default.html

Thank you Gramps - for your prompt and helpful response!  Your solution absolutely fixed the problem I asked about.
If I had followed forum advisories and asked the question correctly, the navigation on this website would probably be working perfectly by now. Your solution fixes the home page.  Can you look at one more page and advise please??
On the "subpages" of this site, the same tabbed panel "fake menu" exists.  I replaced the equivalent line of code in the template for those pages (at line 45) with what you gave me.  I'm obviously missing something in the code to send the user back to the HOME page from these pages.
In the sample link below, you will be starting from a "subpage" of the site.  Clicking on the "HOME" tab leads you not to the actual home page (default.html in the root directory) but to a default.html page within the subdirectory for the page you are on (which doesn't exist.)  Can I add something to that line of code to get them back to the home page?
    Again... thank you!!

  • How to use H1, h3, h4 etc when using Spry Tabbed Panels?

    Hi folks,
I am using Spry Tabbed Panels 2 on my site as it's the only way I know to direct visitors to particular tabs with links.
Unfortunately I can't use any of my header tags because H2 is dedicated to the Spry tabs, and for some reason has also taken "ownership" o all H tags.
Is there another way to mark my headings accordingly without having them turn into tabs?
    My site is at www.qtnz.co.nz/activities
    Thanks in advance for advice,

I previously had PS CS5 Trial installed but removed it using both Control Panel Programs and deleting all files from the CS5 directory on Program Files.  I then installed a purchased product from Adobe disc using the serial number on the case.  But when I try to launch it, I get a screen headed Photoshop CS5 Extended Trial.  It asks for the serial number and says that my trial has expired.  It rejects the serial number from the Adobe case saying "This Serial Number is not valid for this product".  It thinks that I still have the expired Trial Version installed.  How do I convince it (the program) that the Trial Version is long gone and the currently installed product was installed with a valid and accepted serial number????

Let me know how it goes. Go into your Adobe account and register your serial number asap.

That way, should you lose it or you need support, it is on record that it's yours and you can fetch your s/n it from anywhere.
There are too may sad stories here, where people forgot and the box is buried or lost.

  • I am trying to download the newest Itunes to windows 7. I did have a previous version that I used the control panel to delete. When I click on download, I get a small partial window in the upper left corner showing Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Web

I did have a previous version of Itunes and Quicktime that I used the control panel Uninstall to remove. When I do the download, I get a small window in the upper left saying Internet Explorer Cannot Display Webpage. It is trying to get to ....itunes64setup.  I did check to see that all old Apple directorories, etc have been delete. Help!

Okay. Let's see if you've acquired some kind of restriction for the download site. These settings checks/changes apply to the IE downloads, so we'll be trying to use IE again.
Head into your Internet Options control panel, and click the Security tab. Click Restricted Sites.
Check to see if the following website is listed as a restricted site:
    appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net
If it is, remove it from your list of restricted sites and try another download.
If still no joy, head back into the security tab of the Internet Options control panel. Click Trusted Sites this time. Click the "Sites" button.
Add appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net as a trusted site. Uncheck the "Require server verification" box. Now click OK and try another download.

  • I am trying to re-instal Acrobat Pro on my computer after changing OS and resetting everything. I am using the CC panel for intallation. It shows it installed and won't let me install it.

I am trying to re-instal Acrobat Pro on my computer after changing OS and resetting everything. I am using the CC panel for installation. It shows it installed and won't let me install it. I doubled check everything on my computer and it is not installed. Even more, all my PDF files now show an HTML extension rather that PDF and only opens in my browser, which means the program is not here.
How to re-install it, please, when the CC panel installer won't let me do it? Thanks!

    Try "Pacifist"!
Pacifist is an application for Mac OS X that opens up .pkg installer packages, .dmg disk images, .zip, .tar, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .pax, and .xar archives, and more, and lets you install individual files out of them. This is useful if you need to install just one file out of a package instead of the entire package
