Using import in xslt

I have several XSLT stylesheets to generate PDF documents for each rulebase. These XSLT all use the same templates (functions) for formatting data. I like to have these templates all in one file, to be imported / included into the rulebase specific XSLT. I can't get the path right for the import, the xsl are both located in the same folder.
So far I have:
*<xsl:import href="file:CommonFunctions.xsl" />*
I used the above line with and without file, path and everything else I could think of.
The only way I can get it working is naming the full path like this:
*<xsl:import href="file:D:\projects\toolA\include\templates\CommonFunctions.xsl" />*
but that is not portable to other servers.
Can someone point out which path I have to use?

try
<xsl:import href="CommonFunctions.xsl" />or
<xsl:import href="file://CommonFunctions.xsl" />Edited by: frank.hampshire on Jan 18, 2011 8:59 AM

  • XSLT Editor in Imported Archives (XSLT)

    Hi,
The SAP Library Content found at this Link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/4c/b2ad3de2d76b3be10000000a114084/frameset.htm
    says:
"Changes the selected XSLT program. In an Integration Builder editor you can either change lines or import another XSLT program."
Does this mean, the default Integration Builder editor can be changed to an editor I prefer?
My aim is to edit the XSLT-Mapping out of the ntegration Builder with the editor I like.
In our  Integration Builder  the prefered editor is used when I press button "Open in Client Browser", but I whould like it in "Change Program".
    Many thanks for your ideas!

    Hi,
Unfortunatley this is not possible yet because editor choice not configurable or in other term since IR is using simple text editor (which can be simple multiline text box).
But it is good suggestion and you can forward it to SAP XI design team.

  • Migrating a webi report from one environment to another using import wizard

    Hi Everyone,
Can anyone please tell me what all access should I have on my ID to be able to migrate a webi report from one environment to another environment(e.g. from development to quality).

    Hi,
To use the Import Wizard utility, you basically need Administrator, Full Control to Top-level folder, and "Add objects to the folder" and "Edit objects" for this user on the root folder.
You need the least restrictive role, because you require absolute control for content promotion between 2 entitlement systems.
the webi document is the cherry on-top,  you;ll have universes, connections, folders to bring over too.

  • How can I display special characters of NonEuropean languages (French, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese.) using import string mechanism

I would like to translate the User Interface of my application to French, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
When I put special characters in the import string file they showed up as ? (question mark)
The import strings file includes the following parameters for each string: font, text, size and style. (but no field for script)
In order to use a unicode font such as Arial I need to select a french script. But this option is not supported bu LabView (As far as I saw)
    A) Is there a font which is directly German/ French etc and not regula font + script parameter?
    B) Are there another required step
s for special characters support? (When I put speciual characters in the import string file the showed up as ? question mark)

I can not tell you precisely why you are getting the error as you thought posting the control file commands unimportant but I can provide two general observations.
    1. There is no excuse for being in version 10.2.0.1 so many years, and patches, after its release. You should be in 10.2.0.3 or 10.2.0.4 at the minimum.
    2. You should import this as SYSTEM. If you can not then ask a DBA to do so for you.

    Hi Smash126,
Based on the error message” Could not allocate a new page for database REPORTING' because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY'. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting
autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup”, we can know that the issue is caused by the there is no sufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY' for the ‘REPORTING’ database.
To fix this issue, we can add additional files to the filegroup by add a new file to the PRIMARY filegroup on Files page, or setting Autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup to increase the necessary space.

  • How should i do for using "import static" in CDC?

    Hello-
First of all, i have no good Eng. skill.
please understand me if i write wrong words.
I'm a beginner of Java ME and i want to compile some sources using CDC Java(TM) ME platform SDK 3.0.
The sources are using "*import static*" and they need to be compiled with 1.5 javac-source version.
So that, i changed some properties of 'project.properties' and 'build-impl.xml' files in project folder.
    ( javac.source=1.3 --> javac.source=5
    javac-target=1.3 --> javac-target=1.5)
after then, it didn't come out any problem when compiling but,
'cvm.exe' error msg box came out and it could't run.

    From the linked document:
For tab bar icons, create an icon in the following sizes:
    For iPhone and iPod touch:
    About 30 x 30 pixels
    About 60 x 60 pixels (high resolution)
    For iPad:About 30 x 30 pixels
Note: The icon you provide for toolbars, navigation bars, and tab bars is used as a mask to create the icon you see in your application. It is not necessary to create a full-color icon.
Use Preview, GraphicConverter, etc....see the Mac App Store for image editors and add an alpha channel to your image...size it, and add it to the bundle.

  • Using Import Man to load Data into Multi Value Fileds in a Qualified Table

    Hi there,
When using the Import Manager, i can not use the "append" option to load data into my multi value field which is contained within my qualified table.
Manually it works fine on Data manager, so the field has been set up correctly. Only problem is appending the data during Import Manager Load.
Any reason why I do not have this option available during Field mapping in Import Manager. The selection options are shown but in gray.
    Would appreciate any sugestions.
    Chris Huggett

    Thanks Sowseel
Its a good document but doesn't address my problem, maybe My problem isn't clear.
The structure(part of) that I have currently is as follows.
    Main Table - Material
                           QFTable-  MNF PN
LUField - MNF Name(Qualifier Single Value)
LUField  - BU ID  (Non Qualifier Multi Value)
                               TField   - P/N- (Non Qualifier)
I know how to load data to the main and qualified tables, but what I can not do, using Import Manger, is updating the  "LUField  - BU ID  (Non Qualifier Multi Value)" using the append functionality.
    Thanks

  • When to use import and export directives?

I'm very confused about what the import and export language extensions do and when one should use them.
I have a Bridge application with multiple source files. As long as I don't call code in another file from the startup execution path (before all source files are loaded) and only call across modules after Bridge is running (e.g. from events in Bridge), I don't seem to need import and export. All source files seem to be in the same namespace and all can see each other's global objects/functions.
So, when would someone use import or export? And, what is the #engine that the manual discusses in relation to import and export? If some of my source files are library files that I intend to be used by multiple different files/applications, should I be using import/export for that use? Or is this only applicable when there are somehow multiple JavaScript engines involved? And when would that situation arise?
    --John

    John,
The import and export directives don't really matter in Bridge. All scripts execute in the same namespace. That's why namespacing your scripts is crucial in Bridge.
The #engine directive creates another JavaScript engine instance containing the script with the directive. If you then wanted to use stuff from that engine, the import and export directives would be needed. But even with that, in Bridge, the main engine will contain the script. There will just be a second engine (you can see this in the ESTK) containing the same stuff. Since it's in the main engine, there's no point in using the import and export.
Some of the other apps, GoLive, for instance, each script executes in its own engine and namespace. And import and export are needed.
This could change in future versions, and if it does, we'll be certain to make sure everyone knows about it.

  • Error 1046 in a class after using import

hmmmmm, I give up. I want to use some component controls
inside a class I have coded. I have used
    import fl.controls.RadioButton;
but then I get a compile time error "1046 type was not found
or was not a compile-time constant: RadioButton" on the line
    private var button1_rb:RadioButton
    What do I do?

The component was in the library of a .swf that I was loading
dynamically, but the class that instantiated the variable was
itself instantiated by a .swf that did not have the component in
the library, so I tried adding the component to the library of the
.swf that instantiated the class that had the RadioButton variable
in it and that solved the problem.

  • Aperture Does Not Import Videos using IMPORT FOLDER AS PROJECTS

SOLVED - Aperture 3.2.1 does not import videos using "Import Folder as Project"
After 2 days of trying to figure this out (actually around 2 hours total) I've finally managed to import all my photos & videos last year. 200 Gigs 54,000 files. First few tries resulted with referenced photos only, no videos. I had no luck with Google, even tried moving a couple of .plist as mentioned from this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/message/11188017?messageID=11188017#11188017 - this worked for some but not for me. Some issues were solved by NOT selecting "Raw Only", this will cause Aperture to skip your videos.
Thank you to these people who took time to share. In return I am posting my micro contribution to the Aperture Community. FILE > SWITCH TO LIBRARY > then create a new library. You should be able to import your photos with videos in folders.
I hope this gets into Google soon. :-)

, I see only the file, where these photos are, not the photo names or thumbs inside the file (Aperture import path).
You mean in the Aperture Import panel the folder, where the jpegs should be, is empty?
Then you may have excluded jpegs from import in your "Import Settings".
Check the above settings in the "Import Settings" options in the "Import Window". I.e-make sure the Raw+Jpeg Pairs option is set to "Both", even if you do not import raws.
After reassembled all the programs to a new hard drive in Mac Pro
Is this new Harddrive your system volume? And are the jpegs you wat to import located on this drive? Or are the on another external volume? If yes, how is this volume formatted?
Have you checked the permissions and ownership of the jpegs?

  • Passing internal table from one program to other without using IMPORT

    Hi Experts,
I need to pass an internal table from one program to other. However i cannot use IMPORT/EXPORT due to some reason. Any idea how this can be done?
    Warm regards,
    Harshad.

    hi,
for passing itab from one program to another u can use
    IN FIRST PROGRAM WRITE ,
    perform pass_data(SECOND_PROGRAM_NAME) using ITAB.
in both the program declare itab with same structure.
if u want to do some changes in that itab and if u want it back in first program then write as
perform pass_data(SECOND_PROGRAM_NAME) using ITAB changing itab.

  • How to send internl tab val 4m 1 prog to other without using IMPORT EXPORT

    Hi All,
I need to send the vales of internal table from one program to other program without using IMPORT and EXPORT parameter.
Actually i have implemented one enhancement in standared program and need to send the internal table records to one Z-Program not using memory id import and export.
How can i do that ?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Umesh

    Hi Umesh,
you might create a function group with a global internal table. Then you call one FM in standard report to fill global data and a second call of a FM can access the global data - as long as this is still running in the same process (transaction).
"Sending to an other program" is quite general, if your own program is not part of the first process, you might need to save values in a z-table and plan your report periodically checking for new data.
