Using Java Embedding Unzip Code and a Trigger File in a BPEL Process

Hello,
Thanks in advance to anyone that contributes with any insight.  It is much appreciated.  Having said that I will get to the crux of my problem.
I am currently using Oracle 11g.  I have created a SOA composite application that incorporates BPEL and Java.  I have the code needed to unzip and extract compressed folders.  However, when this was first built out using BPEL it automatically created a web service in the "exposed service" lane and not a file adapter which I believe is needed in order to trigger the process via a start.txt file for example.  Based on what I know ... this web service automatically connecting to the BPEL process was simply due to the order of operations, etc.  So by creating a 'read' file adapter first and then creating the BPEL process and selecting the template "Define Service Later", it does not automatcially connect the web service to the BPEL process and it will allow me to connect a file adapter to this BPEL process instead ... great.  When opening up the BPEL file I then connect a recieve component to this file adapter and configure appropriately.
Essentially, my objective in setting up a trigger to start this unzip process is due to the BPEL process before that outputs or writes the .zip folder to the same directory that I want to poll and/or trigger via a start.txt file.  I can get this process to work with a webservice connecting to the BPEL process and by using a Java Embedded in BPEL file, which in turns calls the package/ class that has the java code needed to unzip.
For some reason whenever I try to use a file adapter instead of the native web service that gets created (as mentioned above) it doesn't work.  It seems to build or compile just fine however, I am getting errors when I try to deploy.
Note:  The Java code contains all the paths where the zip file is to be taken from and extracted to.  So because this is in the code I don't need the file adapter to handle this.  I just want to use the file adapter so that I can trigger the process via start.txt or something of that nature.
Thanks to anyone that has any suggestions.
Kind Regards,
Kevin

    I can call the service from SOAP UI by providing username and password.Where do you provide username and password in SOAPUI?
    Service endpoint is like : https://myhost.com/ccx/service/hr...It is a SSL call so you need to configure the trust and identity keystore at Weblogic (SOA) server as well. make sure that you have imported the target server's certificate (along with it's CA if any) in your trust store of weblogic. You may refer-
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13707/identity_trust.htm#i1202182
    If it is two way SSL then the target server will also need your server's certificate in it's trust keystore.

    I bought a new laptop and used Windows Easy Transfer cable and moved all files from one computer to another. I installed iTunes and found my iTunes music Library.  However, when I plug in my iPod it says it is already synced with another iTunes Library.
    I don't see anything in Help that shows when you already have transfered all the files over.  Why would it want to erase and sync when I already have all the music folder copied over?  I didn't have an issue when I had another technician copy from one laptop to another.  Home sharing is also on but not being recognized.

    I suspect you only migrated the media folder instead of the complete working library. Either review the transfer process and copy over the entire iTunes folder from your old profile's music folder or see Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

    Let me know how it goes. Go into your Adobe account and register your serial number asap.

  • Can I use RoboHelp to support localization and generate help files in multiple languages?

    Hi,
    Can I use RoboHelp to support localization and generate help
    files in multiple languages?
    Can I define a layout or template for RoboHelp to insert
    localized strings into the template and generate a localized help
    file?
    Thanks!

    Hi newbie_r and welcome to the RH community.
    You don't say what version of RH you have but the latest
    version (RH7) has Unicode Support that allows you to produce help
    files in most languages. The exceptions are mainly the right to
    left languages (e.g. arabic, hebrew).
    As far as the template is concerned, you can assign any text,
    image to a template and it will be applied to any topics you assign
    the template to.
    If you haven't already, I'd download the trial version and
    experiment a bit. Set up a template with what you want and then
    create a couple of simple help files containing just a few topics
    each. That will reassure you of RH7s capabilities in this
    area.

  • How to get the read input file name in bpel process using File Adapter.

    Hi,
    I am reading a .txt file from configured directory using File Adapter.
    I had configured file adapter to read file with naming pattern “SalesOrder.*\.txt”.
    Now I had requirement to access the actual file name in bpel process eg: “SalesOrder123.txt”
    How can I get the file name in bpel process.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Vidya.

    1) create a variable of message type. Click on Browse Message type. Here you select Message Type-->Project WSDL Files -->fileAdapterInboundHeader-->Message Types-->Inboundheader_msg. Then click OK
    2)Next dbl Click on teh receive Activity which is receing your File from teh File Adapter. Go to the Adapter Tab. Click on Browse variable and select the variable that you had just created above.
    This would get the File name in the variable declared

  • Getting error while calling external Jars in BPEL by using Java embedding activity in soa 12c

    Hi,
    I am trying to use an external Jars for the business logic implementation. Here I need to pass XML as input and
    and I expect the "Password " field has to be return.
    Following are the steps I have followed:
    1) Created a java project with sample class and added the external jars into the project "Libraries &Classpath".
    2) Created a jar file out of it.
    3) Created a BPEL project with Java Embedding.
    4)Wrote the java code in java embedding activity.
    4) Added the above created jar file to the BPEL project's lib/jar  and added in SCA-INF/lib project folder as well.
    5) Imported the package with the class as in the jar (e.g <bpelx:exec
    import="pkg.testInterface"/>)
    6) Deploy the BPEL project.
    while deploying the SOA build is sucessful but my depoyment is incomplete.

    advices will be great....
    Regards,
    Dilip

    Hi,
    Can you confirm if the BPEL Version is 1.1 or 2.0.
    If you are using BPEL 2.0 you need to import the required jar/class file as:
    <import importtype="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension/java" location="pkg.testInterface"/>
    For BPEL 1.1 the syntax to import other jar/class file is:
    <bpelx:exec import="pkg.testInterface"/>
    If you import the classes in the correct format you will not face any deployment error.

  • Using Java To Unzip

    I have a zip file with a nested directory structure, with most folders containing files as well as other directories. I want to do use java's zip utilities to unzip the file.
    Here's the twist: For each file (but not each directory) I want to read the file, write some extra text to the end of it, and then write it out into its appropriate place in the directory tree.
    I know I get can use entries() to get an enumeration of entries in the zip file, and then I could use recursion to spider down into directories. But I thought maybe there was a simpler way, so that I didn't have to write the spidering code myself. Seems like this would be a common problem...
    Thanks for any ideas/code,
    John

    I know I get can use entries() to get an enumeration
    of entries in the zip file, and then I could use
    recursion to spider down into directories. But IUhm, Zips are flat, aren't they? No need for recursion... all entries are at top level.

  • How to display a BPEL variable using Java Embedding

    Hi, hope someone can help, I'm sure this is something very simple but for the life of me can't seem to find it through the tutorials including the Dev guide.
    Question
    =======
    How can I display user defined and BPEL variables in the process activity "Java Embedding" ?
    ex: System.out.println(bpws:getVariableData("myDatabaseParameterVariable")
    This example doesn't work but this is basically what I am trying to achieve.
    I would appreciate any help with this.
    Rookie

    Actually that's all the code I have.... System.out.println(myDatabaseArg);
    myDatabaseArg is a simple parameter defined in the database adapter configuration wizard which is used as a criteria to retrieve data.
    Just before I invoke the Read I use the Java Embedding to display the content of the parameter.

    Logger logger = Logger.getLogger("oracle.soa.Logger");
    LogFormatter.configFormatter(logger);
    String var1 = ((oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement) getVariableData("inputVariable","payload","/client:process/client:input")).getFirstChild().getNodeValue();
    logger.info("Message from Logging level:Info"+var1 );
    Please help me with this...
    Thanks,
    N

    <bpelx:exec import="oracle.fabric.logging.LogFormatter"/>
    <bpelx:exec import="org.w3c.dom.*"/>
    <bpelx:exec import="oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement"/>
    <bpelx:exec import="java.util.*"/>
    <bpelx:exec import="java.lang.*"/>

  • Creating an email with embedded macro code and buttons.

    Hi,
    I currently have a Java SE desktop application which sends out emails to customers with quotes attached as pdf documents. What i would like to do is create a email (using the javamail API) that will have two buttons in the body of the email namely Accept and Reject.
    When the client gets the email, they can simply click on one of the two buttons which should send back an email to a certain email address. I do realise that using macros in the email might cause some problems for people who read their emails using any other program than MS Outlook, but for now I would just like to get this to work...
    Is it possible to do the above using the javamail API? If so, please could you provide some sample code as I have searched everywhere for something like this but could not find anything.
    Below is the macro code that could be used for the accept and reject buttons.
    Private Sub Accept_Click()
        Dim O, m
        Set O = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
        Set m = O.CreateItem(0)
        With m
            .To = "[email protected]"
            .CC = ""
            .BCC = ""
            .Subject = "Quote Accepted"
            .Body = ""
            .Send
        End With
        Set m = Nothing
        Set O = Nothing
    End Sub
    Private Sub Reject_Click()
        Dim O, m
        Set O = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
        Set m = O.CreateItem(0)
        With m
            .To = "[email protected]"
            .CC = ""
            .BCC = ""
            .Subject = "Quote rejected"
            .Body = ""
            .Send
        End With
        Set m = Nothing
        Set O = Nothing
    End SubThank you in advance!

    Thanks for the reply!
    No, i dont want JavaMail to run when the user clicks on a button in an outlook email.
    What should happen is this:
    An email should be sent to a person from a Java application after being "set up" or "created" using the javamail api. The email should have vba code embedded in it so that when the person on the receiving end receives the email, they see some (two, for now) buttons in the body of the email, and when they click on one of the buttons, it should run some of the macro code and send an email back to a certain address as specified in the vba code.
    Now what i would like to know is if it is possible to embed vba code in an email and create buttons in the body of the message when the email is constructed using JavaMail before sending it off to the other person.
