Using tBridge with Tuxedo /Q fail

when I config the tBridge example :Using tBridge with Tuxedo /Q fallow:
bea81/weblogic81/samples/server/examples/src/examples/wtc/tbridge/package-summary.html
I get a error below:
<2003-10-28 ÏÂÎç15ʱ50·Ö13Ãë GMT+08:00> <Error> <WTC> <BEA-180097> <Due to a tra
nslation error, tBridge has redirected the message to the wlsErrorDestination.>
who can tell me why??

There are many ways that this error message will be sent to the WLS log.
You need to turn on the WTC tracing to get a better idea of when it is
failing. Messages from/to a JMS queue need to be converted from/to
a buffer type that is usable for the Tuxedo queue/service. Conversions
occur for STRING,FML,FML32 or CARRAY buffer types. Check to make
sure that the buffer types that your application is using, on both WLS and
TUX sides,
is consistent with the configuration settings and your expectations.
Set the trace level above 15000 for tBridge. Above 65000 will print out
all the tracing.

    Hello.
    I have been working on a WebObjects app that connects to a LDAP server, I create the EOModel (reverse engineered) from EOModeler in eclipse, but I cant set up relationships because in the LDAP server there are no such attributes that references the parents and sons. . i.e I have
    -XWS (root)
         -Contacts (objClass=XWSContactsGroup)
              -Apple.(objClass=XWSContactsGroup)

                   -Carolina Pizano
              -PhotoCenter(objClass=XWSContactsGroup)

    And I want to get all the Contacts from a certain group (right now due the inability to do it via relationships, Im doing qualifiers) .. but Im getting weird results...
    I can get an NSArray from the XWS group which has 2 elements. but those 2 elements are the same. :S
    Any help I will appreciate it.

  • Please help: Utility used to install the update failed with exit code {0}.

    Hi,
    I admit to being a relative newbie at Solaris 10 administration, so please exercise forbearance on my behalf.
    I have just installed Solaris 10 11/06 on my laptop x86. Everything went fairly smoothly. I used the Installation Check Tool 1.2 to decide if my machine was adequate to run the OS and with the exception of a NIC driver, it was. I downloaded the sfe driver and configured networking and it seems to work exceptionally well. However, when I run Update Manager in JDS (the only way I know how to run it), it fails to update some of the packages. Sometimes, if I retry the same packages, sometimes it will eventually work. But it keeps failing with the following error on a consistent basis over the last several days:
    Utility used to install the update failed with exit code {0}.
    I hunted around on the web and the results were not promising. Is there a log somewhere that will give me the actual error or do y'all know of a quick fix.
    Thanks,
    Will

Think I'm going to just have to dump all the Apple products in general because this phone hasn't worked right since I got it.

    Hi,
    What version of Visual Basic are you using? If it is Visual Basic.Net then you should be using the Tuxedo .Net workstation client libraries and not the workstation libraries. More information can be found at:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26665_01/tuxedo/docs11gr1/dotnet/dotnet_chapter.html
    You should only attempt to use the standard workstation libraries if you are using Visual Basic 6 or earlier, i.e., non-.Net versions of VB.

  • Using tuxedo client 8.1 with tuxedo server 6.4

    Hi,
    I am using Weblogic server 7 sp2 with Tuxedo 8.1 on my Windows XP machine, I have configured weblogic (config.xml) to use WTC to connect to tuxedo 6.4 on windows 2000 machine which in turn connects to tuxedo 6.4 server. When I try to do a tpcall I get an error on weblogic server log 'TPENOENT(6):0:0:TPED_MINVAL(0):QMNONE(0):0:Could not find service'.
    My question is I haven't made any configuration changes on the tuxedo server end like ubb.config or dm.config files. We are currently in the process of upgrading to weblogic 7 or 8. At the moment we are using JOLT to connect to the existing tux services on the dynix box.
    I want to know if I can configur WTC on weblogic 7 using tuxedo 8.1 API to connect to tuxedo 6.4. What all changes do I need to make on both WLS and Tuxedo end.
    I have read some documentation which state ways where old tuxedo client versions 7.1 and earlier can access tuxedo server 8 by configuring WSH (CLOPT -t) option in ubb.config file.
    Can someone please help.
    Thanks,
    Smita

    Hello Smita,
    I don't think WTC is supported with Tuxedo 6.4. I think (for a number of reasons) that you really should consider an upgrade to 6.5 or newer version of Tuxedo.

  • A Tuxedo server hangs at tmboot with Tuxedo 12.1.3, but works fine with 10.0

    We have been running a Tuxedo server with pretty much the same logic in the sample code below in our systems for years on AIX (OS level 6100) with Tuxedo 10-32 bit. We are upgrading to Tuxedo 12.1.3 (12cr2) now. The code is compiled fine with Tuxedo 12, however, it just hangs at tmboot. We have tried on multiple servers (all AIX), but it hung on all the servers with tmboot. Is there anyone in the forum ran into the same problem?
    The source code ForkSrv.c:

    ForkSrv.o:ForkSrv.c
            $(CC) -c -I${TUXDIR}/include -o ForkSrv.o ForkSrv.c

    We have a tuxedo service which needs to communicate with a POS device by socket. The parent process provides the tuxedo service. The child process provides the connection management for the device. Unnamed pipe is used for communication between the parent and the child. In the child process, there is no code related to tuxedo. The benefit of that design is the tuxedo server does not need to wait for connection from the device when boots up, and the tuxedo service does not need to wait for connection from the device when the service is called.
    The tuxedo server was developed 10 years ago, and worked fine till we upgraded tuxedo from 10 to 12 recently. That means it worked for 10 years, and it worked in tuxedo 6.5, tuxedo 10. But in tuxedo 12, tmboot does not return for this tuxedo server. We have to press CTRL-C and yes to cancel. After cancel, the tuxedo service seems working fine.

    sangTuxedo8.0 does not handle double byte characters. For the ascii code set, this is
    not a problem and WTC and Jolt transfer strings correctly with Tuxedo 8.0.
    With non-ascii codesets there is a property(weblogic.wtc.encoding for WTC)
    which can be set. WTC will use this property's value as the code set name of the
    remote domains and convert to/from this. Note that all the remote domains
    in a WTCService configuration are assumed to be the same code set. If you
    need to have different codesets used simultaneously then you will need to
    have separate WTC services running. The codeset names that are accepted are
    ones that are supported by Java
    (see http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/guide/intl/encoding.doc.html )
    Stay tuned, in Tuxedo 8.1 a new multi byte buffer type is being added and
    you will be able to do the code set conversions on the Tuxedo side.

  • Help using AEWsetunsol() with PowerBuilder 7 on Nt4

    I am trying to use AEWsetunsol() with Powerbuilder 7 on WinNT 4 (sp6a) or Win2000.
    Can anyone help with regards to what we have to do in PB to get this to work?
    Please be explicit.
    Thanks in advance.
    ..Lyall

    Got it working but had to write a tpinit() wrapper in a DLL in order to get it
    to work.
    The wrapper function allocated the TPINIT buffer and populated the structure with
    appropriate usernames/passwords (none in my case) but we set the 'flags' field
    to 1 (notify by signal). [Powerbuilder does not handle structures terribly well
    I am led to understand]
    If we did not do this, the AEWsetunsol() did not work.
    The code window open is as follows :-
    // pb_SetLoginInfo() is custom written DLL function - simply
    // allocates the TPINIT buffer and populates it.
    // fields in same order as TPINIT buffer
    If (pb_SetLoginInfo("", "", "", "", 1, 0, "") < 0) Then //flag set to 1 - TPU_SIG
    indicating unsolicited notification selected by signals
         messagebox("Error", "Fail pb_SetLoginInfo()")
         return
    End If
    // pb_tpinit() is custom written DLL function - simply calls tpinit() with the
    structure populated by pb_SetLoginInfo()
    IF ( pb_tpinit() < 0) Then //call tp_init from user defined external dll
         messagebox("Error", "Fail tpinit()")
         tpterm()
         return
    End If
    We wanted to be notified by PBM_CUSTOM68 (Powerbuilder custom event 68)
    Then, we called the AEWsetunsol as follows :-
    //start subscribing to event
    il_windowHandle = Handle(THIS)
    //set event to trigger when receive unsolicited message
    IF (AEWsetunsol(il_windowHandle, (1023+68)) < 0) Then //the (1023+68) indicates
    the event id for pbm_custom68
         messagebox("Error", "Fail AEWsetunsol()")
         tpterm()
         return
    End If
    We then setup a custom pb event to receive these events, subscribed to an event
    and off we went.
    Now, if we could only convince the Tuxedo 8 WS DLL to work with Powerbuilder (rather
    than crashing on APP exit)
    Hope this helps someone.
