The D810 requires Camera Raw 8.6 or later - the latest version that is compatible with Photoshop Elements 12 is Camera Raw 8.5 as far as I can see.
You need to either buy a new version of Photoshop Elements or use the free Adobe DNG converter.

Using drag and drop in remote desktop on windows server 2008

we running an application on windows server 2008 terminal services .. this application was support drag and drop functionality .. i understand that terminal services on windows 2008 is supported to drag and drop but is not happening !! even when i run remote desktop connection on this server the drag and the drop is not working !
i need to enable the drag and drop for windows 2008 terminal services ..

Hello Ayman,
If your requirement is to drag and drop files between local and remote sessions, Danny is right. Drag-and-drop feature is not supported in Windows Server 2008-based Terminal Server, which is a by-design behavior hard-coded in the current version of the Remote Desktop Protocol.
As a workaround, I recommend you to use copy-and-paste function instead of drag-and-drop. To enable the copy-and-paste between local and remote session, please enable the clipboard redirection in Windows Server 2008-based RDC. (In Windows Server 2003 environment, local drive redirection is needed.)

T42p + Access IBM - my mouse fails-only use TAB and arrows? XP desktop

Suppose to be like day one here, my Thinkpad T42p but when I press the BLUE button or the Access IBM Icon
my mouse fails-I can only use TAB and arrows and I am NOT in the post bios, I am in the XP desktop.
I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but no help, same with USB mouse, same with touchpad and same with the red
pointer button mouse.I was almost SURE that the other Thinkpads, same models, would have mouse ability.
How do I fix this mess? What happened ? Help !! Have you tried to use that tool with no mouse ? Aggggggh !

Download a Parted Magic CD ISO-file and burn it on a CD-ROM.
Boot from CD-ROM and run the partition tool.
Left-click the 1st Partition, select "Manage flags" and mark "boot".
Reboot the computer after removing the CD-ROM.
To remove the drivers and tools use "Start"- "Programs " - "Access IBM" - "Program for installing/removal of ThinkPad-Software" (or similar - i only know the german terms). - Later Thinkpads used the "Software Installer"
At the beginning of this year i had set up one of my R51 with the recovery CDs and ran all Windows Updates. - Everything worked fine then.
Just for fun and to learn the effects concerning the system stability, i installed Thinkvantage System Update and updated all drivers and Tools. Some updates didn't work.
Result:
- lower performance
- wireless didn't work anymore
- sometimes a blue screen running R&R
After that i recoverd the R51 again and removed all Access IBM tools and drivers with the "Program for installing/removal of ThinkPad-Software". Running TVSU then lead to a better result but not very satisfying.
The differences of the old driver and tools - versions to the newest is too big. A lot of registry entries and many files will be kept after removing the old drivers and Access IBM - tools.
The best result you will get using one of the following ways:
recover from CD/R&R-partition and keep all TVT drivers and tools
do a clean install from a Windows CD and install drivers and software after running all Windows Updates (only 1 GBit ethernet or wireless Lan- driver installed) and then use System Update or manual install

Cannot use Softproofing and cannot export to desktop

I upgraded to LR5....but it won't export photos to my desktop...and softproofing doesn't work!!! I used both on LR 4. But I need help to fix this.

Desktop Search for Linux (Beagle, Kat or Collective Cortex)

I'm already running collective cortex, but thought an Arch package for others might be a good idea. I'm also getting ready to test Beagle and Kat to see how they compare.

Argo search of cFolders and Windows desktop search

Will Argo cover searching cFolders as well?
And what about Windows desktop search?
Unfortunately Windows desktop search does not cover cFolders and the search function within cFolders search no content (header information only, no attached documents).
My hope is that Argo will bridge this functional gaps.

Problems when using shared instances of struts and apache-commons?

I found this worrisome statement on this page (http://struts.apache.org/1.3.8/userGuide/configuration.html) regarding sharing jar files across multiple applications:
<i>When a class is loaded from a shared class loader, static variables used within that class become global as well. This can cause inter-webapp conflicts when the underlying code assumes that the statics are global only within a particular web applicaiton (which would be true if the class was loaded from the webapp class loader). There are many cases where the framework, and the Commons libraries it relies on, use static variables to maintain information that is presumed to be visible only within a single web application. <b>Sharing these JAR files can cause unwanted interactions, and probably cause incorrect behavior</b>.</i>
For those of you currently using Struts and Apache Commons (and perhaps other open source libraries) have you run into any issues when sharing the jars amongst multiple applications?
I would like to avoid having multiple applications loading their own copies of these libraries, for obvious reasons. However, if there are issues with doing so, I may have to relax that position.

To answer my own questions, while we didn't run into any issues with sharing Struts, it may be a good idea to incorporate the libraries directly into the web app if suspicious behaviour is observed by the application.
Also, the taglib definitions could not be loaded from the referenced jar files - these had to be placed into the WEB-INF directory, which introduces a synchronization problem - you could conceivably have different versions of the tld's and the base libraries.

Trouble with Search using MSSQLFT and Like

I am using SPServices to run a search on a scope I have defined. When the page first loads, I run a query that retrieves all the items from the search scope using

The function makeQuery turns the sql into the required xml. When run, this works.
I also have a textbox that allows the user to show only ones where the title contains some text. I have tried using like and contains to restrict the search but both return no results.

Desktop search system, need some help?

hi, greetings from Turkey,
i have a school project that i have to do a desktop search software that will search the computer for the given file names or for the content of the file(for any given strings program will search the content of the files in local disks) in java, i made research that java has a library for text-based searchs, it is apache/lucene library, also found some programs in sourceforge that is written in java using with lucene library,
here i have some questions,
how should i implemet these project/codes?
how/should i use a database for the indexed file names/paths,ect.. what should i use as a database?
how can i implement the context based search part?
any site for the desktop search sytems(how to's, info about making these systems , source codes like sites)
any ideas would be great and it will help me a lot,

Integrating jboss and apache httpd webserver

Hi folks,
I am a new comer in J2EE realm. Prior to this, I have been using Tomcat and Apache httpd and serves me very nicely.
However, I am now required to evaluate the possibilities of using JBoss. Since we are in need of Apache httpd webserver (we are still serving some old cgi-based), how can we integrate JBOSS and Apache? This is to say that when the request is for J2EE, how can we let Apache forwards this request to JBoss for processing? is this possible though?

I had Copernic Desktop Search installed with an add in to Firefox. On removing CDTS it has left the add-in and the remove button is inactive ie greyed out and I can not delkete it or see the folder in the extentions. Help appreciated to get rid of it.

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. I use firefox for so many, many years thta I deserve this kind of support .. thnx Robert

Cookie will not write using weblogic 5.1 and Apache

          I'm having problems having my application write cookies under the UNIX environment. It works fine under
          the NT environment. Could this be a problem with the Apache plugin and weblogic 5.1???
          Under the UNIX environment, it will not write to the cookies at all. Is it because I have weblogic and apache
          on two sperate machines?? Any advice would be much appreciated.
