After defining the settings of the system,system alias and UWL configuration, whem I tried to "Registration for Item Types of Universal Worklist Webflow" this error ocurrs:

Basically for some reason your DB is in backup state.
You need to find which tablespaces are in status backup and then execute command:
alter tablespace <tablespace_name> end backup;
That should fix the problem

UWL error in SRM 7.0

Hello All ,
We are on SRM 7.0 and EP 7.0.
When a manager logs in he get this error message on the UWL "An error occured while connecting to the conector.
The details are as mentioned
Exception type:com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.connect.ConnectorException Message:Tue Jul 13 07:54:36 EDT 2010
(Connector) :com.sap.portal.connectivity.destinations.PortalDestinationsServiceException:User is missing credentials for connecting to alias SAP_SRM. Contact your system administrator.
While configuring the UWL we have added the standard role "pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.srm.srm70/com.sap.pct.srm.core.fl_core/com.sap.pct.srm.core.fl_roles/com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_manager" in the user roles property .
When I remove the std role from this property I get an error message stating "Unable to perform the request. Try again and if the problem persists, inform your system administrator"
Please let me know how do I resolve this issue.

Hi Pradeep,
Please check the SSO working fine or not between portal and ABAP backend. As per the error message, system object connection test is not working properly. Check the logon group used for SAP_SRM System object and refer to SAP Notes : 1133821
Verify that user
-> Users is not locked in ABAP system
-> Validity of the users.
-> Roles assigned to users : SAP_BC_BMT_WFM_UWL_ADMIN and SAP_BC_BMT_WFM_UWL_END_USER

I think the "," that comes in the flat file. CHange the number fields in the file from ",". If it has 1000 separator remove them. You need not have them in the file. In your case i think the decimals are coming as ",". In that case change your user settings for decimal places and then try to load.

I am facing the following problem when I am trying to use the Custom Aggregates menu. I receive the following error:
VB error #14 occured: Out of String Space
\nfrmDSAggregate: FormLoad\nDSAG: SetupAG\nPMCatGetEntryList. This Application maybe in an unstable state. Do you wish to continue?
If I choose Yes, it brings up the menu however with no data and no possibility to do anything. If I choose NO the program closes.
Can you please help me deal with this problem? I urgently need to work on the data and I am stack!

Can you elaborate on what exactly configured and how and why? I fail to understand what exactly you did because in my company, we used the standard (up until now);that means UWL configuration file "com.sap.pct.erp.mss.tra".

UWL Error

Hi ,
I am in SP 14.I was working around resolving a issue with SP 14 with server running on HP-UX where the tasks are not coming up and also the personalize button shows a blank screen.The problem as shown in the logs was , everytime I try to launch the task or the personalize iview , it searches for the iview in the PCD and gives a Child not found error. This is because it adds the main UWL iView ID as prefix to all the launcher iViews.I checked launch UWL path and also the path in the default config and they seem to be ok.
I wanted to know if anyone in the same level is getting similar errors. Also after deleting the UWL from the role and re-adding it and refreshing the rehistration of items , I am now getting this new error, when I try to launch the main UWL iview added to teh role and also when I do a preview with the one from SAP.

ESS Claims UWL error

Hi All,
I have configured the Claims service in ESS and i am getting the work item in UWL in approver's tasklist. But when i click on the task item, it redirects to SAPR3 EASY ACCESS MENU and gives the error that WORKITEM CAN ONLY BE EXECUTED USING THE PORTAL AND UWL.
I have maintained the SWFVISU transaction for taskid TS18900010 and given the APPLICATION NAME and PATH. But still no use.
Can anyone plz advise on this

I think there is an error in the configuration. Could you give a bit more info? Which workflow are you using (standard or custom?). What system are you on ECC?
I also checked for the task you mentioned, but it is not available in ECC 5.0.

DTP-ABAP run time error- Urgent

I had put Sales order as the key in my COPA DSO,due to which i was getting summarised records, nw i removed this key and put the Lowest granular detail key and i.e BW doc # (0doc_num) & then i have activated my DSO.Now when i do the DTP frm COPA Datasource to my DSO, the Records get updated but in DTP run i get ABAP run time Error as 'ASSIGN_TYPE_CONFLICT'

SunOne ejbc error, URGENT, please Help!

Hi, I have installed SunOne AppServ7 on UNIX (Solaris 8)
So far everything is running fine, however, I was unable to deploy a jar file, the error message that I get is as follow:
Cannot deploy the component
Deployment Error -- Error while running ejbc -- Fatal Error from EJB Compiler -- -- com/towertechnology/common/errorhandling/TTException
After looking into the problem, it seems that it cannot find the TTException class.
However, TTException class is actually in the common.jar.
I have included common.jar in the $CLASSPATH, but still the deployer cannot find this class.
There is no other error message given in the logfile.
The above scenario works fine with weblogic.
Could anyone out there help me with this problem?
It's kinda urgent, I need to sort this problem by tomorrow.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.

I have the same problem here. It seems server-classpath is an element for classpath, not take a boolean value. Did you mean the attribute "env-classpath-ignored" of this element?
I have tried to set "env-classpath-ignored" to both true and false, but ejbc complains the same error (seems to be class not found.)

that in the server.xml file on SunOne7, there is a
property that set the server-classpath to false,
that's why the common ejb in the classpath could not
be found. I have set the option to true and it went
pass this problem, however, I still have another
problem, that is ejb deployment problem, you can see

Any idea on what's the cause of this. It seems that the Oracle 9i's support of MDB differs significantly from R1. The demo sample that works for R1 no longer work for R2. For example, the following DD doesn't seem to work with R2.

Chunming -- There was a change from v1022x to v902. This was required per the changes in the EJB specification as it was finalized. The tag <jms-destination-type> was changed to <destination-type>. If you make this change in your ejb-jar.xml that should work.
