V$services with id zero

Hi
I follow this [link |http://www.pafumi.net/Standby_Concepts_Configuration.html#Process_Architecture_] and try to practiced with DATA GUARD.
After done all the section and have primery db and standby db I wont to test it .
But it not work !!!!
Trying to resolve the problem, I have seen that I cant log into the standby db from the primery server .
Ther is a problem with my connection string in the TNS file .
Searching what is the problem I have seen that the service in the services table (on stand by db) do not have id,
i think it related to the problam
What I have to do to give them id .
what i could have done wrong ???

It give me ORA-01031: insufficient privileges But the password is good (oracle for the buth DB)
The next time I log (after get the error ) it connect to the prim DB

ABAP-based web service returns numeric values with leading zeros

Hi SOA experts,
I have created a web service out of an ABAP function module. Beside other values, this service returns a list of document numbers. All of these numeric values are returned by the web service with leading zeros, but we do want these values w/o leading zeros.
Any ideas how I can tell the web service to not print any leading zeros?

just a guess: I'd try to use I instead of NUMC for the document numbers.
NUMC is no number but a character string with numeric characters only. only some display routines in SAP know that this string of numerals represents a number and omit leading zeroes.

ABAP Web Service with tables

We need to build a web service with a predefined message in our ERP (ABAP), without PI or WebAS JAVA.
 
 
We thought it should be a simple task, because we had no problem with many other applications and systems when building the same service, but were not able to build it with SAP ABAP, probably as a consequence of our lack of knowledge on ABAP SOAP runtime.
 
 
We have an external asynchronous process that delivers information to many other systems using web services (information diffusion). Concecuently, the web service call's structure is determined by the caller, so we have to fulfill this structure if we want to receive the info.
 
 
The owner of the process defined a very simple service call, in which one kind of "record" can be repeated 1 to n times:

We tried to build a RFC function call and create a web service with the wizard and it resulted in a web service with the following WSDL:

We found two main problems:
 
 
1.- When "wrapping" the RFC as a WS with the wizard, for a table datatype it automatically includes the <item></item> tag, so we break the predefined calling rules.
 
 
2.- The namespace is fixed by the wizard, and we would like to use a common namespace for all the "susbscribers", logically, the namespace fixed by the information diffusion service.
 
 
We also tried to find info on the outside-in approach for building a web service from the WSDL, but all the info we found required the ESR and we have no PI, just the ERP.
 
 
Any ideas on how to proceed?

I've recently had to "zap" some namespaces in an ECC5 system because the calling (TIBCO) system didn't appreciate the default SAP "urn" default - something to do with multiple colons in the address. There were, I think, just three table this affected, all VEP* ones. I think I should have been able to change these via the virtual interface in SE80 except that the ECC5 code was a bit "light" in this respect, so you may be able to do this now in SOAMANAGER in ECC6 (btw, I also had to re-save the WS definition within WSCONFIG and re-activate the virtual interfaces after this "zap" to generated the associated handler class again).
#1. Given your "name / value" pairs represent a complex type, then it might be better practice to have them as "item" which is probably why SAP proposes it this way... what does your custom function module parameter list look like?

Is there an outage in the Cleveland, Ohio area (zip codes 44129, 44134, 44137) or anything else I can do to resolve this issue?

Not that I'm a Verizon employee, but I have experience in the field. An LTE tower will only extend up to, on a perfect day, with no elevation, 6-7 miles. On a typical day, you will be lucky at four (4) miles. The three ZIP codes you've given are all within about a 12 mile radius. That would mean that 2-3 towers are currently down at the same time, and Verizon would know about it within the hour. Being it's Cleveland, I'm sure they would receive numerous calls regarding an outage of that size.
My point is that if you're having issues in all three ZIP codes, chances are it's a phone issue. If you're handset is simply not receiving LTE, but still receiving 3G, that would signify a SIM card issue. You need to get your SIM card replaced.

Issue with OSI PI WCF Web Service with wshttpbinding

System Details:
SAP MII 14 SP4
OSI PI Web Service: PITimeSeries
I am having issue when trying to call OSI PI web service using http post. it is returning status 0 when i am using exception handler in BLS.
Same web service works fine with basichttpbinding (SOAP 1.1) but with wshttpbinding (SOAP 1.2) it is giving error.
Following are Web config binding details for web service.

I am not sure it could be the issue with passing windows credentials.
Did anybody consumed WCF web service with wshttpbinding with security mode as Message and clientCredentialType as Windows.
Also i was trying to pass MYSAPSSO2 SSO token to service in http post but first i am not sure if this is correct windows token and second which header property of service should be mapped and i am not sure that I am going into correct direction or not.
Please let me know what i am missing.

Location services are a part of your iOS device (or Mac). You don't "turn on" location services with iCloud. You can visit http://www.icloud.com and use Find My iPhone to see the location of the device if you want (assuming you have enabled this from the iPhone first).

iPhoto, unfortunately, has some real problems in my opinion. Control over image placement and size is limited. This is compounded by the fact that Apple has not made the job any easier by refusing to publish information such as recommended aspect ratios and pixel sizes of images used to create a calendar. Obviously, these both change as the page layouts change. But, I don't think it is too much to ask that Apple supply image aspect ratios for each frame size, 2:3, 3:4, 1:1, or something else. What pixel sizes are required for each frame size/aspect? It is impossible to place 2 photos (or 1 photo and a name) on one date should 2 birthdays fall on one day.
Further, there is no recommendation for color space to be used by the printer.
I am tired of trying out a photo in the calendar only to find it looks bad at the pixel size and aspect I chose, then have to go back to the original, re-crop, resize, and wrestle with bringing it back to iPhoto. (I use Aperture to organize my images.)
I must also add that I had a very bad experience with an iPhoto book earlier this year. Don't know if Apple has fixed the problems as I refuse to invest another 20 hours of time and more then $150.00 to find out.
I am seriously looking for something to replace iPhoto (unless changes are made) to do the 10 or 15 calendars for my family again this year (and possibly redo my book).

Calling Web Service with SOAP header from BPEL

I am calling a web service (with header information) from BPEL. In the Invoke activity, i created a header variable to pass the header information.
But, when i test the BPEL service, invoke activity fails because the header information is not being passed.

Invoke web service with DTO

Hey guys,
I am quite new in using BPEL. My first test worked fine, but know I have an issue, which I can not solve. Invoking web services with a basic return value is no problem. I could also you a dto object including some basic variables in order to invoke the web service without having problems.
But when I have a dto object as return value, I get the following exception.
Could someone give me a hint to fix my problem...that would be great!

Having trouble with creation of a cloud service with multiple virtual machines using java sdk.

I am creating a cloud service on azure with 2 virtual machines using java sdk API. Service created successfully.
My input endpoint details are as follows.
INPUT ENDPOINTS
Head : 191.238.144.47:2400
Head : 191.238.144.47:22
Node0 : 191.238.144.47:43211
For Head instance port 2400 is for HTTPS and port 22 is for SSH and for Node0 instance port 43211 is for SSH.
But I am having problem with doing a ssh on Head instance. Sometimes it works sometimes doesn't. Same problem with HTTPS also.
I have some application running over there but when i try to access it thru browser sometimes it works but most of the time doesn't. When I restart the instances from azure portal, its works after
that(not always but most of the time).
Now I am confused what is going on there. I am creating cloud service and virtual machines using java sdk and setting input endpoints also. After creation of all instances i restart every instance programmatically .
I am not sure whether restart is required or not. It must be something to do with input endpoints only but not able to get the right thing i guess. When i do the same thing thru azure portal(creation of cloud service with virtual machines and setting up input
end points) everything works fine but not achieving the result when implementing it by java sdk API. Please help me.

Issue with calling external web service with authentication details ...

Hi,
     I am facing a deployment issue with Oracle ESB. I am trying to call an external Web Service with authentication from ESB SOAP Service. It is working fine with my local ESB version 10.1.3.3.0 Build PCBPEL_10.1.3.3.0_GENERIC_070615.0525; however it is getting an error at our development ESB version 10.1.3.3.1 Build PCBPEL_10.1.3.3.1_GENERIC_RELEASE.
     I am getting following error.
An unhandled exception has been thrown in the ESB system. I cannot install Creative Suite 5.5 on my Windows 7 Professional. I keep getting error message: "Exit Code: 15 - Media DB sync failed". I have disabled UAC and Startup items and Services with no luck. Can you please help?

I am sorry Erickkasner but there is no longer direct support provided for Creative Suite 5.5 installation issues.
You are welcome to post any specific errors you are able to discover within your installation log to this discussion. Since you are using Windows then Exit Code 15 could mean one of the following:
Installer database is corrupted
Update pending to your operating system
Improper permissions set for the Media.db
The installation log file should provide additional insight into the exact error you are experiencing. Please make sure to use the find command to look for the words 'ERROR' and 'FATAL' to locate the relevant error messages.

DO NOT Get The Service With This Company IF You Want to Receive a Good Customer Service

It is really a pain, dissatisfaction, and a lot more when you have Verizon as your service provider. I have been having service for my cellphones with Verizon for over 3 years, and did not have any major problems, so when I moved to my new place I thought it’s better to get the Fios, and have one bill for my all Verizon services. I went online and started to order my products online. During ordering, the chat session opened and I started chatting with the Customer Service Rep in order to get help through the process. When we were in the step that I could order the home phone plan, I saw the International World Plan, and I asked the lady to give me some information about this plan. I asked her that I want to call to my country and I mentioned my country’s name to her as well. I asked her that if this service is available for my country, and she said “Yes” you can call to over 100 countries with this service and she encouraged me to get the 300 minutes service. Since the plan sounded good to me I decided to get the 500 minutes instead of 300 min, and after I ordered my plan, I started calling overseas, and happy that I am paying less than the Phone cards with this plan. On March 26 I received my bill, and saw that Verizon charged me 142 $ for the less than 200 minutes that I called to my country, and there was a Letter “N” in front of each phone calls. I checked the guide to see what does “N” mean, and I saw that it said N means “Denoted calls are NOT listed in World Plan”. Well, thanks to the lady who gave me the wrong information while I was ordering my plan online, but she or the Verizon company is not that much lucky because I printed my chat session the day I ordered my plan since I wanted to have the information of what I actually had ordered. That time I did not think that I may get in trouble like this. Since March 27th, I have been calling Verizon every other day, and I have explained my issue to more than 10 Customer Service Reps, and each of them asked me to fax my chat session to them. I have been faxing that to all the numbers that they gave me, and I am keep faxing them, but do not get any respond. One of the Verizon’s Supervisors, whose name is Mark, called twice on my home phone number during the daytime, around 3 pm, and he left massages. On his second massage, he said that he checked the plan and my country is not listed in the International World Plan. He just said this, and he said that he was going to call me back, but never happened. He also did not leave me any phone number that I could call back. Also, since my cellphones are listed in the same bill as my other products, he could easily see the other numbers that he could call and reach me, but he did not bother himself to do so. I have even changed my home voice mail greeting addressing to Verizon, and left my cellphone number in voice mail greeting. I am so sorry that I have to say this, but this seems a definite fraud to me. I did not know about this plan, and I asked the Customer Service Rep to help me. She was responsible to check my country, or at least let me know how I could find out about the coverage. This is ridiculous, and if Verizon cannot take over this problem, my lawyer will take the action over, and takes the issue to their corporate court. I am not going to give up about this, and I decide to give Verizon about a week or so to solve this issue, but I won’t wait more than that. Just a friendly advice to people who want to get the home service through Verizon: DO NOT Get The Service With This Company IF You Want to Receive a Good Customer Service. There is nothing about taking care of customer in this company, and you are going to be stuck with what you get.
