V$sysstat meaning of 'value'

hi,
I am trying to work out what the 'value' column for the v$sysstat means?
from our system I get back:
workarea executions - onepass = 474
workarea executions - multipass = 509
it doesn't say here:

In the context of workarea executions, value is the
number of executions in the mode that is referred to.
The modes are:
optimal - in memory -- this is best
onepass - one pass on disk
multipass - greater than one pass on disk --worst

I am trying to figure out a way to sort layers in a PS file by mean RGB value (in other words, on a scale from light to dark). Is this possible? I know that one can stack files into layers, so another approach to doing what I want would be by sorting PS files within a folder by mean RGB value. Hi Manish
If you are using batch management then stock status and batch may be same or may not be same in that context you have to give more clarity while posting stock. therefore you have several options available to link with UD code.
For example if you are not using batch management and want to post stock to BLOCk Stock then configure VMENGE04.
Incase of Ex 2 .. You are using batch management and posting stock to unrestricted stock but want to block the Batch then configure VMENGE01 0

Can not input data when removed the value for seleciton condition

Dear Experts,
We met a very strange issue for the IP.
We create a aggregation level and relatd query for user to key in data.
We have a filter in the aggregation level.
It will set value for A,B,C,D
When user opent he report, system will require user to key in the value for A,B,C,D.
Now we found that if we key in value for B, cell is input ready.
If we removed the value in for the B in the selection condition (I mean the value of B is empty, this means tha all the value of B will display in the report), we can not key in data.
Could you kindly let me kow the reason?

I know the principle for the IP.
But I think you may misunderstanding this issue due to my incorrect explaination.
First, we think the aggreagtion level is ok. This is due to that for the B in my example, we set its as column value in the query.
This is means for each record in the IP query, it has only one B value to reflect it.
But strange things is that if we set fixed value for B, IP input is ok.
If we removed fixed value for B, IP function is error.
Now, we will test if we key in multi value for B whether IP input function is ok or not.
Any update, I will inform you.

How to remove all values from column

Hi all
I have one table and in that i have one column which contain some null value.now i want add a not null constraint on that column but it already contain null values.
how shuld i delete that column value only or how should i proceed now please help me

What do you mean by REMOVE?
All values for that column are null or not? if not, then can those value removable?
NULL means no value, how can you remove non-existing value?
Update the null column to default value is one way.
the other is to drop the column and add it again together with your not -null constraint.
But I definitely wouldn`t recommend this approach in your case since some of your records have values for that column.

Problem nr.1:
When I call the button I do not see any logging that indicate that the value is set in backing bean
Workaround: I made item on my page depending on item where I put my code.
Result: I have to press 2 times on my button to execute the button code. First time to make the validation and the second time the button code itself.
Not nice. The validation is also slow.
But ok:
Problem 2:
I still get the same error, I see logging of execution of my validation.
There is also the difference between loggings is 2 cases:
If I use

what I really want instead of
onclick="if (validateForm('dataForm')){return'la')}"
I get:

Some remarkes:
1. I need javascript for confirmation
2. I really do not PPR. It takes so long. The user use the scanner to put the value into input items in order speed up the process. And now PPR...
3. My transient attribute will depend on 8 items. Even more waiting process.
What I really want is to execute my db function only 1 time "onclick" or "oncommit" and according to outcome of db-function ask user for confirmation of commit.
I tried already to implement dialog from ADF with launchDialog function.
But ReturnListener did not function while I launch the Dialog manually.

Multiple values in report column

Hi there,
I have a problem that i hope you can help me with.
I have a value in a tabel cell like P:E which actually means two values: Post, E-mail.
When I make a report how can i make it so that it shows the values Post, E-mail instead of P:E?

Default Prompt Value

Hi,
We have a requirement to pass previous month to the report if the user does not select any value in the prompt. Meaning the value needs to default with no selection but if there is selection then the value selected should be passed. We have Reporting month(string) in yyyy/mm format. Another problem is the month value displayed in the report is based on the reporting month selected. So If the value entered is null the report output doesnot display any data.
I tried using dynamic prompt by bringing getdate() as a separate query but the problem is it just defaults to the previous month and doesnt allow to any other as input.
Please let me know what you think I need to do.

If you are using a static string parameter for months then edit the parameter and in parameter options use default value as "Last Month". Now use the record selection like this
if {?Parameter}="Last Month" then
{month field}= month(currentdate)-1
else
{month field}={?Parameter}
if you are using numeric parameter then use default value 0 and use the same record selection but replace "Last Month" with 0.

Assigning a new value to Float objects

With BigDecimals, you can assign a value without explicitly creating a new object like this:
BigDecimal b = new BigDecimal(5.23f);
b = BigDecimal.valueOf(625, 2);
As far as I can see, the only ways of doing this with Float is:
Float f = new Float(5.23f);
f = new Float(6,25f);
//OR:
f = Float.valueOf("6.25");
Are there any other ways? Which is most efficient?

No there are no other ways, and the first is definitely the most efficient one. The constructor does no more than creating a new object and assigning the value to it's value field. The other method involves parsing the string, check whether it is a valid representation of a float, ... , and then create a new Float object.

Return order value is not coming properly

Hi All,
In Export Pricing Procedure we manually enter value for Freight and Insurance.For both condition types in V/06 we have maintained Fixed Amount in Calculation Type.So in the sales order condition screen Pricing is like
Ordered Qty 10 pc
Price         USD 100 (Entered manually)
Freight      USD 10 ( entered manually)
Insurance USD 20 (entered manually)
Total order Value is USD 120.Here price per item is 12 USD
Now when we create a return order for 5 pc wrt above invoice, Freight and Insurance is not calculated properly.
The system is calculating like
Price         USD 50
Freight      USD 10
Insurance USD 10
Total Credit Memo/returm order amount is 70 USD.And return price/item is 14 USD.
Here the system calculate Freight and Insurance value by dividing the original value(10 USD 0r 20 USD / return qty.(5pc).
But in the above process the return order value should come 60 USD.So what settings do we need to get the value 60 USD.

For Freight condition type
condition class A
calculation type B
Condition Category F
No Access sequence is assigned
For Insurance Condition Type
Condition class A
Calculation Type B
Condition Category C
No Access sequence is assigned
In PP for both my condition types manual, mandatory and statistics has not been checked.No From To step is maintained.
Coming to your query can you pls elaborate how did u calculate Freight 2 + insurance 4 and the final value should be 56 usd.
Now in my first invoice the invoiced qty was 10 . Freight value was 10 and Insurance value was 10(for the total invoiced qty).
Now when i create return order for 5 qty the system should calculate proportionately.I mean Insurance value should be 5 usd and freight value should be 5 usd.So price is (for 5 qty) 50 usd + Insurance 5 usd + freight 5 usd= 60 usd
If i am wrong then pls correct me.

I have some reports in which multiple queries option is provided at UI by using no of prompts.. Now some of the prompts are visible on basis of the selected value of initial prompt. That means If value of prompt A is x than prompt B is displayed and if value of prompt A is y than Prompt C is displayed, which of the prompt(B or C) is displayed depends on value of prompt A.
how can we achieve this.Kindly help

Hi,
This isn't possible at report level. If you mounted your reports on a dashboard, your dashboard prompt could contain prompt a, b and c. Users can then choose to populate any of the prompts they require rather than having to hit "next prompt" all the time.

I have maintained some values in the characteristics under batch classification in material master and want to copy the values in batch characteristics during batch creation at process order release.

Try to understand the batch classification functionality...In batch classification characteristic values changes from batch to batch...Values should not be maintained in the material master...it does not have any meaning...in the material master we need to assign only the batch class with class type 023 in classification view ...no need to assign the values there....Batch classification means characteristics values differs from batch to batch...

Excise Base value wrong in MIGO

Hello ,
PB00 and some Z condition types are used in Pricing Procedure....And Excise is calculted
on the addition of PBoo+Z condition types, The BED and ECS and SECess is calculted correctly
While capturing the excise invoice in MIGO
We are using Ecc 6.0
While MIGo iam planng to capture the excise Invoice, while in Excise Invoice Tab, iam selecting
the "only Capture Excise Invoice"(In header)
In Item level Excise tab... we may see the BED.ECS,SECess and excise base value
We are getting the BED and ECS and SECESS is calculting the values correctly BUT
The Excise Base Value showing in the Base value field is wrong... why?
It is only showing the PB00 value here means PB0O value * Qty....... Here it is not giving the
addttion of Z condition types
But the BED and remaining values are calculated on PB00 and Z condition type. But why system
is taking only PB00 value in Base value tab in MIGO.

In this Z conditions are Stastical .... and We are not asigning any Account keys to them.....
In This case..... while Procurning the material for manufacturing plant..We are get the BED and ECS and SECEss are calculated on ZMRP-ZABT charges....
He re in our case the BED and ECS and SECess are correct. means it is calculated on ZMRP-ZABT charge...... But In MIGO the Base value shown is worng.... i,e is only showing us the PB00 value(means PB00 X Qty)
How to get the correct excise base value

I have tried using default value as B in the customizing
If i maintain default values in the vendor master record, it will automatically adopt in the purchase info record.
Here i tried using sales person & telephone no field in vendor master record & it automatically adopts to purchase info record.
Region sales person and telephone no i have maintained in vendor master record, it automatically fetches to info record for the particular account group. I am not sure if there is any relation between vendor master and material master record.
