V56LDELI -- EXIT_SAPLV56L_002 - active but not called

I followed the instructions in Note 400368 to add a new field in the delivery line of VT01N/VT02N. The function module EXIT_SAPLV56L_002 and the INCLUDE ZXV56U25 are both active. However, I am not able to fill the new field in my append structure of VTRLK becasue EXIT_SAPLV56L_002 is not being called.
The enhancement V56LDELI has a status of 'migrated' in SMOD. Therefore, it cannot be added to a CMOD project, as the instructions in 400368 prescribe.
I've searched for additional notes on this topic but cannot find documentation dealing with this problem.
Can anyone tell me what to do to hit my break-point in ZXV56U25?

I know this is an old post, but I'm having a simular problem. Have you found an answer or a workaround ? I think the problem might be related to the fact that this exit was called for the old VT01,02,03 transactions and is no longer called by the new VT0nN transactions. So you'll hit your breakpoint if you use the old transaction codes. Regardless I have yet to find a solution for the new transactions. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Deployment Error: DCs get activated but not deployed

Hello All,
I am new to NWDI. I did some code modifications in my DC. When i check in my activity, it gets activated, but not getting deployed. At first i was getting authentication problem, that is resolved now. Now i get this CMS log:

manual deployment can be done in two ways
1. right click your dc in the studio ->Development Components->Deploy .
before doing this , in your studio go to windows->preference->sap j2ee engine -> fill the message server host and message server port i.e on selecting deploy it will ask for password , enter sdm password and your ear file will be deployed.
message server host --> host entry or IP address of the server to which you want to deploy and
message server port - > ask the basis person to give the port or else you can check via
http://serverhost:portno/index.html -- > click on system information --> it will prompt for user id and password .. fill the crendentials if you have and you will find the message port info in the top left corner. for more info refere the below link.

2. you can take the ear file from your dc , in nwds studio open Navigator, expand the dc then dril down to gen->default->deploy -> here ear file will be available , copy the ear file and give that to your basis guys to deploy directly from SDM.

Keep Program Active But Not on the Dock

I know that Skype is not an Apple program, but it, and other items (sometimes an Apple product) will become inactive when removed from the Dock. Can Skype, or other programs, remain active but not stay on the Dock, so that the visible (and active) icons that remain on a Dock are more manageable in their overall length?

You have a fantastic phone, joy3141. I double checked features for the iPhone 5 and confirmed there's not a way to block messages from a specific contact without blocking calls too. Our Call & Message Blocking http://vz.to/MqEgqB is a great way to block unwanted contact from specific numbers, but it would block both calls & messages. How to have a SFC active but not record labour??

My latest challenge from the shop floor is how to have an SFC still be active without anybody being laboured onto it (Visiprise 4.2)
We have several processes that require product to be placed in an oven for a long period of time, sometimes several days. Our production staff "sign on" to the SFC whilst they prepare the oven and load it. They then "sign off" and work on something else. When the process is completed someone (not always the same person) "signs on" to the SFC removes the product etc and the "completes" the operation.
This gives us the actual labour touch time and the actual cycle time , the problem is that when the first operator signs off the SFC it changes it status back to "In Queue" which then show in the WIP reports as being available for work, which it isn't.
So, is there anyway of signing off the SFC but not changing status to "In Queue" ?? That way it will not show in the WIP reports as being available for work and will stop our operators getting so confused .

In any case you cannot have SFC in work but without any assigned user who is meant performing some actions over that SFC.
You can create some "dummy" user account and start SFC with that user each time you start heating the unit in the oven. To take the unit out of the oven, the second operator will Labor On against the SFC and perform Complete.
As another option, you can play with Special operation: create a router of one operation corresponding to the action of heating and use the same resource of the oven; the second step is Return(Next). Each time "dummy" user starts an SFC at the operation, the SFC will be taken out of work from the production router. When SFC is completed here by the second user after Labor On, the SFC should be returned to the next step of production router (though I have not tested this way of disposition).
Anyway, such "cheating" with the basic functionality will be rather intricate - so you might consider requesting a customization.

Program active, but not active?

Hello fellow ABAPers,
we have some very weird behaviour in our productive system: transports from Q/D are imported fine, the affected programs are shown as being active in SE80, but when starting the program the old version is started. Only after I run SGEN the new version is used.
I haven't found any notes on a behaviour like this, has anyone ever encountered similar problems?

Broadband meant to be Active but not connecting

Hello i hope someone can help.
I recently moved address and took my landline number and BT Account (inc BB) with me to my new address. This was at the beginning of September. I was told my phone would be connected on the 14th Sept with my BB being Active as of the 20th Sept. I received a text on the 20th saying my BB should now be available but it wasnt. I gave it a few days leway but still nothing.
On Friday 23rd i made a call to support who checked my landline for faults (i believe all was fine) and they advised someone from technical would call on Saturday to speak to me regarding the issue. I never received the call and we are still not connected to the internet 7 days later. Im getting absolutely nowhere with technical and for some reason they now want to send an engineer to the house even though all the lines in the house are fine.
The previous tenants also had a BT BB account which was working fine for them. They cancelled their BB in August so this shouldnt hold any bearing to this issue which tells me its something to do with the configuration at BT's end.
Here's what i have done so far to check for issues myself.
1) Reset the router to default settings
2) Checked that all laptops in the household are in the correct IP range for the router and that they can connect to the router (which they can)
3) Checked all available phone sockets in the house with both the router and the house phone, house phone works fine in all sockets but BB will not connect
4) Made sure we have microfilters in place
5) Power cycled the router daily to check for a connection, still nothing
6) Used the test connect on the router using "domain bt_test_user@startup_domain" as the username (as suggested in another post to check for activation), this did nothing which according to another user suggests were not activated yet.
The call centre operative i spoke to today wasnt much help at all, he simpy read the notes and bearly spoke to me, the customer service i received was terrible. As a result of this my son has lost a job as he was sent an email last week inviting him to an interview but couldnt receive it. Ive been paying for a service that ive not had for a month now, all in all it has caused a huge inconvenience, im having to go to a friends to make this post.
Please can someone help me get my BB working.

Mountain Lion 10.8.2 Heavy background disk activity but not time machine

Since accepting the Software update that puts my version of ML as 10.8.2 I have began to notice a regular (every hour) constant heavy activity in one of my drives (yet to identify which one).
The said drive(s)?? whirr up and carry out activity that sounds as if it were carrying out a time machine backup BUT there is no indication that time machine is carrying out its job nor are any of the backups date/time stamped for the activity taking place.
Any ideas as to what is happening would be greatly appreciated as it is becoming rather annoying to listen to heavy background activity without being able to identify what is happening.

Hi, Was looking through the forum because of a similar issue that occured twice yesterday. I was cleaning up and consolidating my externally connected disks (too many backups) 1 x USB connected, a NAS store and my Airport time capsule. After a long session of deleting files I got the spinning globe on the finder window, I could not access other apps to look at what was going on, but I could here the Time Capsule rattling away. Left it for 20 mins still the same, so had to crash the system to recover (hold power button in). Four hours later and more tidying up, went to shut down and again heard the Time capsule rattling away but this time I got to the white screen and the spinning circle. Twenty minutes later still not shutdown so another crash of the system.
I am not sure whether this problem is the same as you have described but there are similarities hence I thought I would post.
Hope we can find a resolution

Xp_cmdshell error, but not calling xp_cmdshell anywhere

I'm using SQL Server 2005. My company uses a very large, complex legal services developed by an outside firm, with whom we work pretty closely. I'm adapting a stored procedure that writes one record into a table which has several required columns
(NOT NULL) The procedure also invokes another stored procedure and a user-defined function.
So far as I can tell, I'm passing in all of the required parameters; for any column that is not required, I'm passing in NULL. I'm invoking the procedure as follows:
EXEC sp_WriteARecord <key value 1>, <key value 2>, <key value 3>, <key value 4>, NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL
When I make this call, I get the following error:
Msg 229, Level 14, State 5, Procedure xp_cmdshell, Line 1
The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'xp_cmdshell', database 'mssqlsystemresource', schema 'sys'.
The problem is, there is no call to xp_cmdshell in any of the procedures or the function. I don't think I've ever seen this before, unless I was, for some reason, trying to see if I could actually call xp_cmdshell. I'm not a DBA, and I know that
I have server-level Admin privileges, but I don't believe that's the problem.
I hope this is enough detail to adequately describe the problem. I'd be very grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction.

The query that Sean gave you have a potential problem, the string xp_cmdshell may be split up over two lines in sys.comments. This is safer:
SELECT object_name(object_id) FROM sys.sql_modules WHERE definition LIKE '%xp_cmdshell%'
And you should have db_owner rights when you run this.
Note: if procedures have been created WITH ENCRYPTION, you will come back empty-handed.
But something is certainly calling xp_cmdshell. That we can tell from here.

Split valuation active but not set up

Hello,
Let's say that in a given system, the split valuation has been left at the default setting of active. But nothing has been set up to support it. None of the materials have a valuation category assigned to them. There is a lot of existing stock, and many goods transactions have been created. Is it possible to go into the material master, assign a valuation category, and then extend the material to the required valuation types? The valuation category field is currently not even visible in MM02; I'm assuming that this is because no valuation categories have been allocated to the operating unit/valuation area. Could all existing stocks and open transactions then be mass modified to have a particular valuation type (then new stock, when brought in, could be assigned to either that valuation type or a different one)?
It is my understanding that activating split valuation requires posting out all stocks, making the configuration changes, and then posting the stocks back in. But in this case split valuation is already activated - it just isn't being utilized. So can the required changes be made to utilize it without clearing out all stock?

State machine site level workflow activated but not showing in the workflow list

I got the answer , actually I didn't experience it before with site workflows , it shows where we create a list just beside you can find site workflows, off course feature activation is necessary after that for workflow activation this is the way.
