Validation for info catagory in ME11

Hello ABAP gurus,
I need to do validation in ME11 screen. In that screen following four type of info catagory is available.
         o Standard
         o Subcontracting
         o Pipeline
         o Consignment
In Those four option, user should not select 'Standard' option. If he selects, we have to trigger error.
I tried with field exit. that didnt help me...

Hi! So originally my Billing Info was set in the US and today I wanted to upgrade my MBP to OS ML. I'm in the PH now so I changed my Billing Info and set it to my address here in the Philippines, but everytime I hit that "Buy App" button in the App Store and log in, I'm always taken to my Billing Info and even though I already changed my account info, the address that's displayed there is still the US one. I tried to change the country numerous times and set it to PH, but I always get the message saying my Apple ID is only valid for purchase in the US. I'm taken to the US store afterwards, and after I hit "Buy App" the same thing happens over and over again.
I've been trying to figure this out for over an hour now. What else can I do?

I sort of understand what's going on, but not sure why you weren't able to rectify the problem. Maybe the support folks can help.

Setup.exe fails, folder " "does not contain a valid media info file 'mediainfo.xml'"

I'm trying to run the SQL Server R2 setup.exe, and all I get is a command window popping up briefly, then nothing.
This actually affects all SQL Installers that I have on my machine:
2008R2
2012
SSDT BI Pack for VS2012
If I run the setup.exe from the command line, I get this:

I've checked 1000 times that the folder DOES contain a mediainfo.xml file:

I've seen a few suggestions elsewhere in search results, but nothing has worked so far.

I'm running on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1, 64 bit with up-to-date Windows Updates.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite

HI together,
I'm very annoyed about the fact that I payed for Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5 (EDU version) and now I'm not able to use it on my new Mac. The Support team (Chat) from Adobe told me several times that the product/serial or whatever was canceled but this doesn't help me to get the product working and I won't pay again for this software. So what's the reason for cancellation? I can't see reasons for this and I don't understand why Support team can't help me. Already found Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite but this doesn't helped me.

Maybe this is also useful... They told me I canceld this by myself which is not the truth. I had a Windows machine and used Creative Cloud as well but I only canceld the Cloud, not my Serial Number for Production Premium...
So who is able to reactivate my Serial Number so that I'm able to use my product?

general informations you will find there: https://www.adobe.com/account.html and this brandnew website: Serial number and activation support.
In case you bought your program from these firms like Amazon this "serial number" obtained from them is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe.
The following part, so I just see at least ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything plays out in the link from above. I let it there as an info:
Here you have to go through your "Adobe Store", and look for the button "Serial Number Request". Fill in the form and, after a while you will get a "real" serial number.

Custom fields in Purchase Info Record transactions(ME11/ME12/ME13)

Hi,
How to add custom fields to the screens of Purchase Info Record transactions(ME11/ME12/ME13)?
The custom fields are already appended to table EINE(Purchasing Info Record: Purchasing Organization Data) and users want to maintain those fields via transaction ME11/ME12.
All the relevant threads in SDN are without solution, anyone with such experience please help.
PS: any enhancement method is fine.

I am trying to declare items in doc library inside a specific folder as records. This is my code:

I just can't declare items as records, I tried RunwWithElevetedPriviledges, AllowUnsafeUpdate, and SPWebapplication.FormDigestSettings.Enabled = false;
What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried adding SPUtility.ValidateFormDigest(); before the start of your code section? Have a look at the article below for more info on the same.

In my view I have some InputFields and DropdownbyIndex UI elements.
I binded Value Atrributes for InputFields and Value Node for DropdownbyIndex.
While doing validation for these elements :
For <b>InputFields(Value Atrributes):</b>

If I execute this both are working fine and I am getting a Red Box around inputfield(Name). But for DropdownbyIndex it is not like that. There is no Red Box.
why it is like this and how can I solve this. Please give me some good solution.

Defining complex validations for flex items

Hi,
We've defined a flex regions and a number of flex items. We would like to define more complex validation logic at the entity object level, whereby we'd like to reference both 'fixed' entity attribute values as well as values of the flex items.
Could you please indicate how this can be achieved in the validateEntity method of the EntityImpl.java class.
We know beforehand which flex items will be displayed based on the value of one of the fixed entity attributes (e.g. if the attribute request_type='assist' then display flex items A and B, if request_type='info' then display flex items D, E and F). We use flex items because the number of request_types and corresponding 'dynamic' attributes is too large (and subject to frequent additions, deletions or modifications) to incorporate in a fixed static db table structure.
If you can suggest alternatives to using JHeadstart flex items, these are more than welcome, of course.

First of all many many thanks for your prompt reply. We can use JSF EL expressions to conditionally render flex items. I'd like to illustrate my question with a simple example:
We have three fixed entity attributes displayed:
RequestType
Birthday
Sex
and two flex items (rendered at runtime for a specific runtime value of RequestType):
Smoker (Y/N)
Weight
Before saving the record I'd like to check a number of validation business rules that depend on the fixed entity attributes as well as the two flex items being displayed.
Consequently, I'd need to be able to access the flex item values provided by the user, inside my validateEntity method (right ?).
I can define simple validations for the flex items, but I can only access the flex item value and possibly the DependsOnItemValue.
PS: When I define a flex item of type 'inputtext' and try to access its value using a bind variable in the validation query of the flex item e.g.
:ItemValue = 'blabla'
Suppose the user fills in the value Abracadabra, the validation logic substitutes as follows:
Abracadabra = 'blabla' (which generates an Oracle error). I'd expect the following substitution to take place:
'Abracadabra' = 'blabla'

BADI for Info type 24(skills)

I want BADI or exit for info type 24, i need to restrict the skills to two and primary skill can have 4 proficiencies(primary, primary basic and so on) and secondary skill can have 4 proficiencies(secondary, secondary basic and so on). If the user selects two skills as primary, i need to display error message.

Driver not valid for HP Pavilion dv6t

Need to update my Intel HD Graphic driver.
Tried HP and Intel and both are stating that the driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacture. Set up will exit.

Validation for text field: Null and contains no spaces

Currently on APEX 3.2
I want to check 1 text field and 2 text areas to ensure they are not null and blank (hitting the space bar in the field) before submitting the page. How do I do both validations for on each field?

I created a validation with a type of 'Function Returning Boolean' and using the following code in the expression:
IF( TRIM( :P1_Text_Field) IS NULL
Or LTRIM( :P1_Text_Field ) != :P1_Text_Field )
THEN
RETURN false;
ELSE
RETURN true;
END IF;
