Valuated issued value Stock

Valuated issued value Stock
I want to check the values of BW & r/3 are matching for KF  Valuated issued value Stock in which t-c0de can i check it
I am checking valuated stock value in mc.5
& valuated stock received value in  table s031
these values are matching but when I check  Valuated issued value Stock in mc.6 some of the values ar ematching & some are not matching

Hello Maya,
Use transaction MB5B  where you can select stock by date. Also select Valuated stock. This should match the  your KFs in BW,
Um is needed to get correct value of the stock
If the material cost is adjusted in R/3 then revaluation entries are posted in R/3. The UM datasource picks up these revaluation entries.

    Dear Experts,
My client is into Pipe coating business who receives the pipe from the customers, coats it as per there requirements and dispatches it thereon. There is no concept of FG here as its only the service he is doing on it and also when he receives the pipe there is no raw material cost on it. Raw materials for him would be chemicals etc which he uses to coat the pipe.
This is the case of NON Valuated sales order stock.
    1) non valuated GR will be done for customer stock -Only QTY update
    2) sales order bom will be created with defined characteristic.
    3) Plan cost of sales order will be updated based on Costing ID setting
4)Production order will be created based on Sales order.Good issue and Activity confirmation happen at Production order level but Good received only QTY but no value update.
5)Production order will be settled on sales order.Settlement profile of production order type must contain COST ELEMENT tick under settlement.
6)now my sales order contain actual cost of production.
7)No accounting document will be generated at PGI.
8)only accounting document will be generated at Billing.
9)Only COPA Document will be generated at Sales order settlement. I am going to create PA transfer structure in order to post COGM cost component wise.
    Mi missing something?
    Question
    1) Whether all steps are correct
    2) There  will be no standard cost release and no variance calculation as well.
3)How can i use RA under non valuated sales order stock?.
4)HOw can i use customer stock under sales order bom with non valuated value?
5)How i will do Production order GR Only qty update?
    regards
    RK

    Hi Raman
All steps are correct.. You seem to be an expert now!
THere wil be no Std cost release or variance calc
You can set up RA based on costs or Revenue... 1st of all check with your  client whether they would like to have any WIP in this case
you can receive the customer supplied pipe using 501E movement as Non val
GR - Only Qty Update is controlled by Req Class... You need to leave Valuation field BLanlk in Req CLass and choose Acct Assn Catg E

  • Product costing valuated sales order stock

    Hi all,
We are in complex mfg & currently re-vamping all the ERP SAP instances ( totalling 13 company codes into one single)
All 13 units( who use NON Valuated scenarios for cost object controlling) wil use valuated sales orders & projects. The old 13 companies will be trated as profit centers with transfer pricing functionality ( Multiple valuations)
My issue is to get a product cost for sales order in <b>profit center view</b> ( plan cost) exactly same as to the marked standard cost itemisation of the FERT material.
We mark & release the std cost in Jan & the client wants to have the same itemisation of the cost ( with same values) even if they create a sales order in 2nd or 3rd or last quarter. ( As you might be knowing that the sales order wil always cal;culate the values as per the current qty structure date. In Std SAP date control, there is nothing which allows us to cost exactly the same cost estimate as marked & released in JAn)
Could somebody pls give pointers as how to get this sales order plan cost itemisation exactly equal to prevously marked & released itemisation ?
We use the Std costing variant ( Costing Type = Profit center valuation) with Std date control.
Thanks in advance to all of you,
    Warm Regards

    Hi,
If the sales order stock is valuated, you have immediate access to its value in Financial Accounting. The assigned accounts are debited and credited as a result of the valuated goods movements. From the viewpoint of MRP, the sales order stock is available for the sales order only.
If the sales order stock is not valuated, it is managed via a cost collector. The system does not carry out invoice verification postings for goods movements, and you cannot obtain an overview of how the stock is valuated until the end of the settlement period in Controlling.
Valuated sales order stocks have the following advantages:
The full costs are available at each manufacturing level.
All goods movements are immediately reflected in Financial Accounting
    Assign points if helpful

  • External Procurement with a Valuated Sales Order Stock

    Hi Experts,
I read the following in SAP Help,
For external procurement with a Valuated Sales Order Stock, system generates a purchase requisition from the sales order.
If you are using a valuated sales order stock, the externally procured material is assigned to inventory at the time of the goods receipt. If the sales order item is flagged as carrying costs and revenues, then when the goods issue for delivery to the customer takes place, the sales order item is debited with the costs of the externally procured material.
My question is - it says costs of external procurement is debited to sales order item when " goods issue for delivery to the customer takes place"
           - but in my case, when I made the GR for purchase order (created automatically by sales order), system directly posted the procurement cost as actual costs to the sales order item. There is no delivery for sales order done still.
So actually, when should the external procurement cost be debited to sales order item -- when GR for purchase order is done (or) when  goods issue for delivery to the customer takes place?
    Thanks,
    GAN

    Hi Rafi,
Thanks for your reply. I understand the problem now.
Material which comes from prod order is posted statistically (value type 11) to sales order when GR for prod order is done.
Here, the issue is about a GR for purchase order (assigned to sales order). This material purchased is not used in any production process. Its a material which is supplied to customer along with main material produced in house.
In purchase order, I have given the consumption account (which is cost element 1). Entry was Consumption Dr and GR/IR Cr. So, this posted as actual cost to sales order.
I should have given inventory account in purchase order (with cost element 90).
Its a mistake of using consumption account in purchase order.
    Thanks.
    GAN.

  • Issuing consignment stock for sub contracting against outbound delivery wm

    HI
I have a outbound delivery created against subcontracting PO for issuing the components, i have stock determination turned ON so during picking against the outbound delivery i am able to pick K stock and own stock too(based on availability) but when i do PGI i get an error message You have not entered a value in field "Owner of stock" although an entry in this field is mandatory. message M7018, please share your thoughts whether is it possible to issue K stock for subcontracting PO if so how it can be achieved
    Thanks
    Terry

Consignment Stock is not valuated stock of the system. Issuing a Material from K stock to Subcon means, you need to pay to vendor for the material through MRKO settlement.
This message is because of the reason for MRKO. System should be updated with " whose stock are you using"
Please enter the vendor number on that field, depend on which MRKO is done.

  • Valuation Price in Stock Transport purchase requisition

    Hello All,
We have a scenario in which we create intercompany STPR i.e between two plants belonging to different company codes.
    Plant X - Material A - with standard price as 100 AUD
    Plant Y - Material A - with standard price as 102 KRW
If plant X creates STPR on Plant then under the valuation tab it shows the price as 102 KRW i.e for supplying plant. Could you please help to understand why it takes the price from the supplying plant material master and not from the receiving plant material master ? Due to this my release strategy and other things get disturbed.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Deepak Gupta

    Hi,
Please see the below scenario. It will clear your doubts:
The account movements that result from a cross-company-code stock transport order with billing document can be seen from the following example:
Plant 0002 orders 10 kg of a material from plant 0001. The following prices apply:
Valuation price of material (plant 0001): 10 $/kg
Price for intercompany billing (plant 0001): 12 $/kg
    Order price (plant 0002): 11 $/kg
The following postings are made for the individual transactions
    Plant        Transaction      Value     Account
    0001     Goods issue      100 -     Stock account
                                        100 +     Change involving stocks
    0001     Billing              120 -      Sales revenue account
                                        120 +      Customer account
    0002     Goods receipt       110 -     GR/IR clearing
                                         110 +     Stock account
    0002     Invoice receipt        120 -     Vendor account

The billing will be done as per the price in the receiving plant.

  • Valuated related values in R/3

For checking the values for valuated stock value, valuated issued stock value, valuated received stock values in b/w with r/3 in which t-code I need to check
When checking  the value of valuated received stock values in s031 ,it is matching with my b/w data but when I check the data in tcode mc.5  for the same filed the values is different .Am I looking the wrong t-code
Pls tell me where Ineed to check the values

    Hi,
not sure but try with MB51 which I think is the best for checking movements BuoM and @cost.
It also depends on which level you want to get this info: summarized at CC or site or by article...
For stocks you can go with MB5L, MB5B, RWBE....
Tables: MARD, MBEW, MBEWH holding different stock types/categories, by periods, MAP history...
    hope this helps

  • Issue in Stock transfer

    Hi
We have an issue in Stock Transfer. the Stock transfer happens between a manufacturing plant which is excise registered and a depot, which is not excise registered. We raise a Stock Transfer order from the depot on manufacturing plant with a freight component. The system creates a freight provision in the depot, when the goods issue is done by the manufacturing plant against the stock Transfer Order. After the goods issue the material is shown in Transit in report MB5T until the same is recieved by the depot. However, some goods are lost in transit and the same is recovered from the freight vendor. In such a case, we do a MIGO for the actual quantity recieved at depot and pass a debit note to vendor by loading the difference to material.
    The issue is:
    1. the quantity and the value of the physical inventory recieved have been rectified by a recovery from the vendor.
    2. However, how can we remove the goods, which we have short recieved from the report MB5T
The certain work around  we have thought could be :
    1.  Receive the quantity in full at the recieveing Depot and then scrap the material to the extent it has been received short through M Type 551. However, the issue arises in case of transfer of goods from one manufacturing plant to another, where in both are excise registered. In such a case, goods receipt in full would not be correct as it would raise issues in excise registers.
    Please suggest

    Hi,
One suggestion is you can pass a document through MB1A for material loss in transit for the mateial lost.
Followign accounting Entry would be hit :
    Transporter shrinkage Clearing Dr
    to Inventory Raw Mateial          Cr
You can pass the same document through Mvt. Type 951 (GI Lost in Transit).

  • Valuated Sales order stock - Goods Receipt

    Greetings,
I am trying to better understand the concept of 'Valuated Sales order stock" and I read in the SAP documentation that:
"When you are using a valuated sales order stock, externally procured individual requirements materials are assigned to the sales order stock at the net order price at the time of the goods receipt"
But I find that in our SAP system, this is not the case. Externally procured materials are valued at whatever price they are costed in the sales order they are used.
I can have a PO whose net price is 5000 Euros for Material X but if that same Material X is costed at 8000 Euros in the Sales order to which is it used, the GR for Material X will be at 8000 Euros.
(the PO for Material X is assigned against the sales order).
Perhaps I am misunderstanding what is meant by "externally procured individual requirements materials"?
In the example above, material X is not the Finished Goods sold to customer through the Sales order. It is a component that is involved in the production of the FG.
It seems to me more logical that Material X value be based on the cost estimate computed in the sales order rather than on the PO Net price...
Thanks in advance for your valuable feedbacks!
    Best regards,
    Sylvain

    Hello Nikolas,
    Thanks for your answer.
Yes, we value our inventory at Std.
(Is this why the GR is valued at Sales order cost estimate and not Net Price?. SAP does not mention this in its documentation)
I understand your point but my argument is based on the fact that if a purchased material (Material X in my example) is received into stock at the Net Price value, then, there will be a mismatch between
    - the Cost Estimate of Material X in the Sales order (Material X will be valued at its Std there, based on our Costing variant)
    and
    - the value at which this Material X will be consumed in the Production process (since it will be at Net Price).
This would cause a Production variance to be recognized since the actual costs to produce the Finished good would be different from the Cost estimate of the Finished Good in the Sales order (and the cost estimate in the sales order determine the COGS of the Finished Goods in accounting).
The difference of 20 you mention is treated as a Purchase Price variance in our case. That PPV is assigned against the Sales order.
    Best regards,
    Sylvain

  • PO against valuated sales order stock posting to consumption account

    Hi All,
I am creating a PO with account assignment against valuated sales order stock. However the posting happens to consumption account (GBB) instead of the stock account (BSX). The following settings exist
    1. The material type is both quantity and value update
    2. The account assignment category used in PO is E which has special stock = E, account modifier = VKA and consumption posting = E
    3. The requirement class (in SD) has account assignment = E and valuation = M (even tried with A)
    4. The valuation class for valuated SO stock has been maintained in the accounting view
However the system picks up the account corresponding to GBB-VKA and not BSX. Can anyone point out any setting that may be mising here.
    Regards,
    Ketan

    Hi,
Maintain the consumption posting as blank against the account assignment used in PO in OME9 and test the scenario again.

  • MM Account determination with valuated/non valuated sales order stock!

    Hi All,
I have been trying to set up MM account determination in our project for sales order assigned POs.What I have observed is that when I have a PO with sales order assignment and according to requirement class (coming through reqt type) in sales order it is valuated sales order stock then in the PO we get the stock account determined through BSX key. But when it is non valuated sales order stock we get a different account assigned through GBB-VKA key. In both the cases the account assignment category in the PO is "E".
Can someone please explain what is the connection between valuated/non valuated sales order stock and MM account determination and if what is happening is right from account determination point of view?
    Regards,
    V S

    These are two different postings:
    BSX: stock posting
GBB: Offsetting entry for stock posting
    Stock posting (BSX)
This transaction is used for all postings to stock accounts. Such
    postings are effected, for example:
    -   In inventory management in the case of goods receipts to own
stock and goods issues from own stock
    -   In invoice verification, if price differences occur in
connection with incoming invoices for materials valuated at
moving average price and there is adequate stock coverage
    -   In order settlement, if the order is assigned to a material with
moving average price and the actual costs at the time of
settlement vary from the actual costs at the time of goods
        receipt
Offsetting entry for stock posting (GBB)
Offsetting entries for stock postings are used in Inventory
Management. They are dependent on the account grouping to which each
movement type is assigned. The following account groupings are
    defined in the standard system:
    -   VKA:     for sales order account assignment
(for example, for individual purchase order)

  • Valuated Sales Order stock for Semi-Finished Products

    Dear Gurus,
One of my client faced the issue that the semi-finished products is valuated-sales order.  We are in Mill Industries, downstream (steel processing).  The situation is:
    1.  We use configuration material for both finished and semi-finished products. Both are valuated at standard costs with valuated sales order stock.
    2.  Once the sales order is created, the cost estimates are created for both Finished, and semi-finished products.
    3.  The production orders is created for the semi-finished products.  During production, several semi-fg and fg can be manufactured at the same time.   We are using the co-products feature to cover that.
    4.  During the goods receipt of semi-finished products, instead of using the standard costs in sales order cost estimate, it use the planned costs in production orders which against our design.
I tried to use the user exit COPC002 and influence the standard costs.  But it seems that the routine is not called for semi-fg at all.  Anyone has any light on this?

    Hi All!
I have a small problem   : I created a new type of material (OMS2) - a configurable one, managed on quantity and value basis. I work with valuated sales order stock for configurable materials but the account in the purchase requisition is determined by means of event key GBB insted of event key BSX.
    Where is my error?

  • Valuated Sales order stock with CO Production Order

    Dear All,
Our clinet is manifatcuring cables and having  2 plants, for one plant we have configured PP module so we are arriving valuated sales order stock, for another plant we didnt configured PP module so we planned CO production order, but where as we are not meeting our ultimate goal i.e; valuated sales order stock.
So please guide me how to arrive valuated sales order stock  with CO Production Order.
    Thanks & Regards
    Narasimham T

Valuated sales order stock is not dependent on PP, so you should be able to still to use it.  The requirements class associated with the sales order item determines whether the item is valuated sales order stock and it also determines the valuation method.  If you do not have Boms and routings in this plant you can still value the line item based on the material valuation in the material master. You can also value it based on a unit cost estimate that can be created seperately for the sales order item.  Justt make the desired settings in the requirement class.
    thanks,

    Hi Folk,
I have a requirement for Intercompany Stock Transfer Where Plant "A" place PO to Plant "B" and Plant "B" does the Stock Transfer to Plant "A". Both the plant belongs to differnet company code. But both the company code share the same Chart of Account.
The Issue here is how the Plant "B" maintain the valuation for the Stock Transfer as there is no invoicing generated for this.
Should you need any further information / clarifiction pls feel free to let me know.
Pls share your expertise with me.
Looking forward to hear from you at the earliest.
    Thanks,

In intercompany STO delivering plant should invoice to recieving plant and it will have the accounting entries as well.Keep in mind that both plants are related to different company codes.Accounting will be done as normal sales process in delivering plant.
