  • This Entry Already Exists in the Table (UDO1)

    Hello All,
    I have created a Document Type Form with one Document and one Document Rows Table .
    Their is no Manage Series option checked in the Registration as it is without any series.
    Now the entries were going smoothly untill the record no. 116 then after that the user tries to add the document no. 117
    system is showing an error message " This Entry Already Exists in the Table ( UDO1) " and the data is not getting added.
    I have checked the Header & Line Tables both tables conatins data upto 116 record.
    But still is not getting saved.
    Their is no Series feature in this form (No Manage Series ) the numbering the going as per SAP .
    Please suggest how to solve this problem  without hampering the already entered data.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Amit

    Hello Amit,
    Sometimes the restore document numbering function from help makes miracles....

  • Query the values not exist in the table

    We have a table AP_INVOICES_ALL where we have a column INVOICE_NUM, now we are searching INVOICE_NUM from a large set of values of INVOICE_NUM provided by the user.
    I want a query to find the INVOICE_NUM values supplied by user that doesn't exist in AP_INVOICES_ALL table.
    Database version : 11g
    OS : aix 6.1

    Gaurav

    Hi,
    If you are getting values in the table then the above solution is there but if you are getting the values in excel or text file then you need to upload the data into the table by using sql loader or by using external table.
    if the case then
    load data from excel or plain file into oracle table by using sql loader.(loader is server based utility)
    create table in oracle like create table table_name as column specification.
    If you have excel then save it as .csv file and create sql loader control file like
    oPTIONS (SKIP=1)
    load data
    infile 'Path_where_you_saved_csv_file'
    truncate
    into table table_name_you_have_created
    fields terminated by ','
    optionally enclosed by '"'
    trailing nullcols
    (your_column_name)
    {code}
    call control file from command prompt from the path where your control file and csv or plain file resides.
    {code}
    sqlldr userid=user_name/passowrd@database_name control=control_file_name
    {code}
    above will insert data into table.
    now you can use the select query...

  • This entry already exists in the tables (OCRD - 2038) (131-138)

    I get this error without any add-on running directly in SAP trying to add a new Business Partner.
    We did reindex all the SQL table for a BP with no success.
    However we did upgrader this BD in a more recent environment and the problen went away.
    Is there any tools to rebuild the integrity of SAP database tables.  Something that could repair a corrupted table in SAP ?
    Whatever we add in BP it says the error.  Anything that doesn't really exist.
    it's weird.....

  • How to check if a constraint existed in the table and drop it?

    Hi all,
    I want to drop a constraint from a table. I do not know if this constraint already existed in the table. So I want to check if this exists first.
    Below is my query:
    DECLARE
    itemExists NUMBER;
    BEGIN
         itemExists := 0;
    SELECT COUNT(CONSTRAINT_NAME) INTO itemExists
    FROM ALL_CONSTRAINTS
    WHERE UPPER(CONSTRAINT_NAME) = UPPER('my_constraint');
    IF itemExists > 0 THEN
    ALTER TABLE my_table DROP CONSTRAINT my_constraint;
    END IF;
    END;
    Here is the error I got when I executed the above query:
    ORA-06550: line 11, column 5: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "ALTER" when expecting one of the following: ( begin case declare exit for goto if loop mod null pragma raise return select update while with <an identifier> <a double-quoted delimited-identifier> <a bind variable> << continue close current delete fetch lock insert open rollback savepoint set sql execute commit forall merge pipe purge
    Please help me with this!
    Greatly appreciate!
    Khoi Le

    Yes, I also tried to put the pl-sql in the Execute Immediate. However, the error still remains
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'DECLARE
    itemExists NUMBER;
    BEGIN
         itemExists := 0;
    SELECT COUNT(CONSTRAINT_NAME) INTO itemExists
    FROM ALL_CONSTRAINTS
    WHERE UPPER(CONSTRAINT_NAME) = UPPER('my_constraint');
    IF itemExists > 0 THEN
    ALTER TABLE my_table DROP CONSTRAINT my_constraint;
    END IF;
    END';
    I execute the above code via running the batch file.
    Here is the error after I ran the batch file:
    ORA-06550: line 11, column 5:
    PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "ALTER" when expecting one of the following:
    ( begin case declare exit for goto if loop mod null pragma
    raise return select update while with <an identifier>
    <a double-quoted delimited-identifier> <a bind variable> <<
    continue close current delete fetch lock insert open rollback
    savepoint set sql execute commit forall merge pipe purge
    The symbol "lock was inserted before "ALTER" to continue.
    ORA-06550: line 11, column 53:
    PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "DROP" when expecting one of the following:
    . , @ in <an identifier>
    <a double-quoted delimited-identifier> partition subpartition
    ORA-06512: at line 2117
    I can not manually drop it. I need to do this via running an update script file.
    Is there a different way to accomplish this?
    Thank you very much!

    Hi,
    Please check the following query and compare the results :
    select MAX(messageid) from OILM
    select autokey from ONNM where objectcode = 10000048
    Compare the values for both the query. The first query should not be equal to or greater than the second one. If it is, then you need to log a support ticket and get your issue investigated as it can be a probable Database Corruption.

    Hi Kamalakar
    I think this problem happens due to wrong content of SDMKIT.JAR - incorrect crypto SDA is deployed.I dont know the installation procedure you followed because normally this error wont come.
    I would rather suggest a work around seeing your problem

  • "This entry already exists in the following tables DLN1"

    Hi there,
    We create a Delivery from Sales Order using the Copy To option with a batch managed item. When we try to add the document, the error message appears:
    This entry already exists in the following tables '' (DLN1) (ODBC -2035)
    I think it is something to do with the chosen batches but I'm not sure about it. Did someone already have the same issue before?
    Thanks and regards,
    Nat

    Hi,
    I would suggest to escalate this issue to SAP support.
    Our client has experienced similar issue but they want to update item master data. They duplicated existing one and then delete last 3 digits of the original item code and then update it, the error message appears but it refers to AIT1 table and ODBC 2035.
    There is a note relate to it but it is just a query and the result must be sent to SAP support.
    However, have you tried to use copy from ? I mean you open the DO, put the customer code and then copy from the SO ? Will the error appear ?
    Rgds,

    Hi,
    If you are trying to create a Business Partner code where the code is same as another added in the database already as a G\L Account, then the error also occurs.
    If the issue is not fixed by running the task, it is a database corruption for which further investigation from support is necessary.
    Please log a support ticket to get the issue investigated.
