Variable don't recognized. Not found in the variable collection.

Hi guys, I am literally getting crazy with an error that I can understand the reason. I even wrote an article on this kind of process and now I am stuck on it.
Process: Reading a select count from a query and passing the variable to a send email task. Easy but..
Why?! Why this error? The variable is in the variable collection!!
Any suggestion? Thanks (I'm getting crazy on it)

  • JBO-25077: Name Region not found in the given object

    I'm linking my main View Object to a secondary View Object using a View Link. Then in a View Criteria, I use an EXISTS statement to add a field from the secondary View Object. I make that field be a LOV dependent on another data source. When I choose an option from the dropdown list in the resulting <af:query>, it returns an error.
    Below, ELEMENT is the name of that field in the secondary View Object. Product is the variable name. Region is a field in the main View Object.
    (Note: When that field is not a LOV, it works fine.)
    oracle.jbo.expr.JIEvalException: JBO-25077: Name Region not found in the given object: ( (ELEMENT = :Product ) ) .

    I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.2.2.0

    I have additional information.
    The field Region in the primary View Object has another field dependent on it. It seems like when the field Element in the secondary View Object is changed, the dependent field tries to look for "Region" in the secondary View Object (which I don't understand why it would), but can't find it, so returns the error.
    Hope this might be a clue to figuring out why the error happens.

  • Error Configuration File bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath

    I am new to JDeveloper and ADF, and am suffering through the steep learning curve. This story may prove useful to someone, someday.
    I just finished resolving a “bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath” error and it added another level of understanding to how things are glued together.
    There is a back story. I had made a first pass at creating a test application. When I was done I started “enhancing” the application. One of the changes was to add a column to a view in the database. Try as I might I could not get that change propagated to the business component. This is still on my to-figure-out list. In frustration I dropped the model and recreated it from the database tables and views. Testing it with the “AppModule” in the model project I could see the view with the new column. However, when I went to run one of my old jspx pages, I now got the dreaded “bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath” – and this was for a page that was not using my updated view. As the military expression goes, “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot”.
    It is now working again, and here is what I found.
    I noticed in the error message that it could not find “/cloudapp1/common/bc4j.xcfg”. When I searched for the file I found it in /cloudapp1/model/common/bc4j.xcfg. I went to the project properties for the model project and on the “Project Source Paths” node I saw at the bottom of the page Default Package: cloudapp1.model. Ah Ha! That is where the /cloudapp1/model structure came from. Then I remembered that the first time through I had changed the default package to just cloudapp1. Part of my experimenting with the product. When I quickly rebuilt the model project I did not do that.
    Next I found the DataBindings.cpx that one note alluded to. It is in the ViewController project. There I found an “OC4JDataControl” section. In there was and entry Package=”cloudapp1”. This was the original package name. When I rebuilt the model, this was not updated. Anyway, I changed it to Package=”cloudapp1.model”. [ Insight:  When you first build an app it can make some good guesses about what is needed, but when you start adding and dropping projects it is much harder to guess how they are glued together.]
    Raising a cup of coffee in triumph I re-ran the test page.
    Dang! Still a bc4j.xcfg not found in the classpath – but this time the path mentioned matched the path where I knew the file to be.
    I am nothing if not stubborn. I knew the problem just had to be in the ViewController project, because the AppModule in the model project worked. So, I started going through all of the project properties. I finally came across something called “Dependencies” that had big ugly red circles with an x in them. Ah ha. This is what tells the ViewController what other projects (like the business model project) this ViewController is dependent on. Although the editing process it not obvious I eventually pointed it to the new model project. [Deepening insight.]
    When I re-ran the test page it worked! Coffee finished. Story with a happy ending.
    Summary:
    1.     Make sure the package name in the ViewController DataBindings.cpx matches the one in your model project.
    2.     Make sure the ViewController Dependencies entry points to the model project.

    Thought I'd add a little bit more to this post I found helpful.
    I'm creating an application which uses other application ViewController projects deployed as library .jar files. If your .jar ViewController project deployment profiles don't have your Model project as a dependency, you will get the .bc4j error as well.
    This can be confusing when the ViewController pages function correctly when run within their own application context, but somehow lose their bc4j when deployed as a .jar.
    Hope that helps someone down the road.

    No, there is no need to re-purchase iWork. If it was installed from a retail boxed DVD, it needs to be reinstalled from the DVD. If a license was purchased electronically for the iWork '09 trial, reinstalling from the downloaded dmg will need to be done. If any of the apps were purchased from the Mac App Store, they can be reinstalled from the Mac App Store.

  • Business Rule Error: Fact not found in the rule engine working memory, rule

    I am trying to create a simple decision table with an input(ValidateInput) and a output(ValidateOutput). The input and output schemas have unbounded and nested elements(Parent-child relationship). When I create a condition(specific condition on input) and in the action I am asserting the output object. But when I run using EM it throws the following exception. It would be helpful if somebody could tell me what could be the problem. Please note when I set the output as ValidateInput object then it runs fine. Also it executes fine with ValidateOutput if it doesn't have unbounded(List) element inside it.

    That error means you don't have rights to the Mailbox your trying to access. In Exchange by default the only user that has access to mailbox is the owner of the Mailbox, Exchange Administration rights does not grant you access to another users mailbox. You
    need to either specifically grant rights to each mailbox using Add-MailboxPermissions or use EWS impersonation where you can impersonate the owner of the Mailbox see

  • Item SI_SHOWDESCONLY was not found in the collection

    To give a bit of an overview of the software I'm talking about, we have web applications that integrate crystal reporting (either BOE XI R2 or BOE XI R3.1 depending on the site). The relevant function that these sites perform is to allow the user to schedule a report which invokes the functionality through crystal to create a report scheduled to run at a specified time(s). These entries exist in the History tab of a particular report when viewed in the Central Management Console. This web application references a reporting library (DLL) that contains all the references (11.5.3300.0) to the various CrystalDecisions DLLs used to perform these functions
    We have a 2nd piece of software that runs a windows service on an application server which references the same reporting library as the web service. This service essentially cross references entries in our own database with the entries in the crystal database to see if they have processed, or reports back errors, it will "reschedule" a report if it has been deleted.
    The issue we are having is that the windows service fails with "Item SI_SHOWDESCONLY was not found in the collection" when calling the following lines of code:
    Dim ceScheduleDoc As CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Desktop.Report
                    Dim ceSchedulingInfo As SchedulingInfo
                    Dim ceDestinationObjects As InfoObjects
                    Dim ceDestinationObject As InfoObject
                    Dim ceDestination As Destination
                  ceSchedulingInfo.BeginDate = dtTempDate
                        ceScheduleDoc.SchedulingInfo.RightNow = False
                        ceScheduleDoc.SchedulingInfo.Type = CeScheduleType.ceScheduleTypeOnce
                        ceDestinationObjects = ceInfoStore.Query("Select * from CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS Where SI_NAME = 'CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged'")
                        ceDestinationObject = ceDestinationObjects.Item(1)
                        Dim ceDisk As New DestinationPlugin(ceDestinationObject.PluginInterface)
    (if you need to see more of the code that happens in this method, let me know, but it's that sequence that blows up (this forum limits the amount of lines in a post, which is why i'm trying to limit what I display)
    I have a theory that the issue is that perhaps the service is trying to invoke a different version of the crystalDecisions.Enterprise.InfoStore reference, despite the fact that the project reference explicitly tells it to use 11.5.3300.0, our GAC does also include 12.0.1100.0 and 12.0.2000.0 and on some servers 10.5.3700.0.
    Is there perhaps a binding redirect occuring somewhere that I can find?? I've checked app.config and machine.config

    I will run modules utility
    but I should mention that the exact same code is run everyday by the web application to schedule reports, and calls those very same lines without issue, it's just when called from the service (on a different server) that it blows up, which is why I'm led to believe that it's an issue with the version of the DLL that it's trying to call
    i know in the web.config for the web app, you can explicitly specify that the DLL use certain versions of dlls with tags as follows:
    <system.web>
    <compilation defaultLanguage="c#" debug="true"><assemblies><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.ReportSource, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Shared, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Framework, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.InfoStore, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Web, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/></assemblies></compilation>
    </system.web>
    whereas the app.config for my service doesn't quite have that ability...unless it does and I don't know about it??

  • This procedure name is not found in the database: wwv_flow.show

    I created an interactive report, which works fine in the APEX developer, using the Application Express Authentication scheme.
    To add it to our Self-Service web system, I change the authentication scheme to a custom scheme that has been working fine for other applications, although I don't know of any other interactive reports using this scheme in Self-Service.
    Anyway, the interactive report is displayed in our Self-Service system using the custom authentication scheme, but if I display the Action menu and click on one of the options (Filter, Sort, Compute...), a pop-up window is displayed saying:
    This procedure name is not found in the database:
    wwv_flow.show
    That error is also displayed when I try to edit the displayed filters.
    Does anyone know why I might be getting that error or have suggestions on things to try to track it down?
    Thanks,
    Laura

    Laura,
    To add it to our Self-Service web systemWhat does that mean? What did it entail?
    I'm thinking maybe you embedded some relative links into a menu system in which the base href was not appropriate, ... or something.

    Trying to configure Version 11 and get the error: "Shared Services database content not found in the specified database". Relevant details on my issue as below:
    - I'm running Windows 7 and SQL Server 2008 on my local machine.
    - I did have a previous installation of Hyperion 9 on my machine which I uninstalled before installing 11. However, after uninstalling, I could still see the Hyperion EPM (empty folders) in my "All Programs", which I manually deleted.
    - Now I've installed Essbase 11, and for now am trying to configure Hyperion Foundation only (Common Settings and Configure Database is greyed out, I checked deploy to applicaiton server. I left the calculation manager and workspace blank).
    - The next window is the "Configure Shared Services and Database Registry" option. I chose "Perform 1st time Configuration of Shared Services Database". When I enter the relevant details, I got the error mentioned above. My error log file entries are as below:

    I believe version 11 supports Windows 7, but correct me if I'm wrong. What's going on here? Any suggestions on what I should try ?

    Actually when I installed version 9, I never got around to configuring shared services and so never had a shared services database in SQL Server to begin with.
    One question about the registry entry you told me to delete: The (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hyperion Solutions) which currently exists would be the entry for version 11 which I have installed right? It's the only entry for Hyperion Solutions in the registry.
    After uninstalling versino 9, C:/hyperion still existed on my machine (though it didnt have all the subfolders which it did prior to uninstalling), so I manually deleted it before installing verison 11.
    I wouldn't mind installing it on a compatible version of windows, but the thing is that at this point this is all that is available to me.
    and I don't have any other oracle products.
    thanks....

    This will be very hard to troubleshoot without access to PeopleSoft.
    Ideally, the best way to test it would be replicate the steps you are performing in your code through the component interface/web service, and then on the actual PeopleSoft component to see if you get the same error.
    The second case where you haven't put in the parameters, make sure you clear out the ? marks and leave the value empty if you don't need to specify it.
    E.g.
    Instead of <kcm:QUICK_CD>?</kcm:QUICK_CD>
    Use: <kcm:QUICK_CD></kcm:QUICK_CD>
    I generally work backwards from soapUI -- look at the soapUI error, then test through the component interface tester in PeopleSoft application designer, then if required test in PeopleSoft.

    That's going to be a soap item corruption issue. You're going to have to
    open an SR. Turn on SOAP tracing at the poa and try to trace the issue.

  • JUNIT test failure-Configuration file bc4j.xcfg not found in the classpath

    Hi All,
    As part of an ESS project,Im having a model project containing a VO(parameters VO).This VO is configured to have Read-only access through SQL query and have only one transient attribute each.For the model projects containing the VO for pre merge checker compliance I had to create JUNIT Test projects containing new AMs for testing the parametersVO. While running the JUNIT tests I got an exception like
    “oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.ConfigException, msg=JBO-33001: Configuration file /oracle/apps/hcm/goals/core/dataMigration/publicEssModel/test/applicationModule/common/bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath.”.—even though this file is contained in both the src/classes folder of the project.
    When i try to run the TestAM I'm getting an exception like 'configuration tester.xcfg not found in the calsspath.
    While debugging this error, we found that we are able to successfully run the JUNIT tests if we make some changes in the adf-config.xml file of the Application. The change required is to comment out the mdsC:adf-mds-config tag in the xml file.
    After doing this change Im also able to run my AM without any exception.
    Is this a known issue?.
    Since modifying the adf-config.xml is not a recommended practice is there any workaround that we can get rid of this exception.

    As it's also dealing with junit and 11.1.1.6.0 you might want to read it.

  • Configuration file bc4j.xcfg not found in the classpath.

    When i try to run an application that uses ADF BC i get an error telling me the bc4j.xcfg was not found.
    When i open my AppModule and click the bc4j.xcfg link it opens. When i look at the path it stored in, it is different from the path the error says.
    It's something like this:
    Configuration file /be/something/model/common/bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath
    but my appModule opens the bc4j.xcfg in a different folder:
    /be/something/utility/common/bc4j.xcfg
    It's a fact i modified the project and managed the packages a bit but i always used the refactor menu of jdeveloper in order to move or rename files.
    It appears that something has failed while moving/changing name.
    I looked inside my project to look for references for bc4j.xcfg but i can't find any so i can't see were to change the directory he needs to look for the bc4j file.
    How do i fix my project?

    John,
    In the DataBindings.cpx i can't find any reference to a datacontrol...
    This is my bindings:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <Application xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adfm/application"
                 version="11.1.1.56.60" id="DataBindings" SeparateXMLFiles="false"
                 Package="be.usermanagementProv.portlets" ClientType="Generic">
      <definitionFactories>
        <factory nameSpace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/binding"
                 className="oracle.adf.controller.internal.binding.TaskFlowBindingDefFactoryImpl"/>
        <dtfactory className="oracle.adf.controller.internal.dtrt.binding.BindingDTObjectFactory"/>
      </definitionFactories>
      <pageMap>
        <page path="/UserManagement/view.jspx"
              usageId="be_usermanagementProv_portlets_viewPageDef"/>
      </pageMap>
      <pageDefinitionUsages>
        <page id="be_usermanagementProv_portlets_viewPageDef"
              path="UserManagement.viewPageDef"/>
      </pageDefinitionUsages>
    </Application>In the datacontrol section when i right click the DC the "edit definition" is grayed out. Probably because the DC comes from the library and is not created in the application.

  • Services/common/bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath

    Hi Everyone,
    i have got one ADF application which has developed in Jdev 11G release 2.
    i have tried to run in my Jdev(Jdev 11G release1 11.1.1.5.0).
    it gave some errors regarding imports so i imported those missing jar files and application got comipled succesfully.
    When i run the application it shows me below error:
    <Utils> <buildFacesMessage> ADF: Adding the following JSF error message: Configuration file /com/sinter/gme/abc/services/common/bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath.
    oracle.jbo.ConfigException: JBO-33001: Configuration file /com/sinter/gme/abc/services/common/bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath.
    when i check that path in my project its there till "/com/sinter/gme/abc/services" and "/common/bc4j.xcfg" is not there.
    the same appliaction is running fine in server after deploying. but i need to change some things and redeploy it but it is not running as expected.
    Please help me to get out of this.
    Any suggestions.
    Thanks.

    Add Model to ViewController as dependency(right click Model--> Dependencies-->use custom setting), add dependency with "Edit dependencies".
